Love is Blind Argentina: S2 Eps. 1-4 w/Brian

[SPEAKER_01]: Hi everybody, welcome to another episode of Tain Talks. [SPEAKER_01]: I am your host, Tain here with a new episode. [SPEAKER_01]: Today's episode is Love is Blind Argentina, season two, the first batch is episodes one to four. [SPEAKER_01]: As always with me, is my love is Blind Co-host Bryan from Mass Virgin, High Bryan, how are you?

[SPEAKER_00]: disappointed. [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm here. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I really, I had high hopes and I, we're talking to this minute ago. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I don't, I'm having a hard time telling who was who, I'm having a hard time figuring out why it should be invested in any couples. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't get anything that I wanted.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, but I, I don't know what to say. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a big bummer. [SPEAKER_01]: guys okay for me this is my first time watching I don't know how or why because this is season 2 and you know we try to watch most of all the international versions but after watching this first batch I'm like oh that's why I didn't watch it like my TV brain already knows and was protecting me from guys there's no nice way to say this it just wasn't it like [SPEAKER_01]: We tried, we're going to do it, we're going to talk about this.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I think I should just be upfront, like, this is going to be the first and last coverage for love. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not our agenda because we went through it. [SPEAKER_01]: I think by season two, I texted Brian and I'm like, yeah, let me know what you think is what? [SPEAKER_01]: Then he confirmed it, but we're already in deep and in the four episodes.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, and I tell you guys all the time. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to cover something if, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: in it. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not fun. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to come here and come back to show and then no one's having fun about it. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's why it's the first and last.

[SPEAKER_01]: I apologize for anyone who absolutely loves it, but if you do, I actually want to know. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm curious. [SPEAKER_00]: What have you to look about it? [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, um, that being said, love is by an Argentina 32 men and women. [SPEAKER_01]: There's a whole host of different kinds of people.

[SPEAKER_01]: I will say that they this franchise has the most [SPEAKER_01]: relatable looking people. [SPEAKER_00]: I would say the most relatable looking people who are not of color. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think there was anybody. [SPEAKER_00]: There was a weird gap. [SPEAKER_00]: It was, you know, it which I, I'm watching the world cup and I think I saw that Argentina is the only team in the world cup with like nobody black on their whole team.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's like, yeah, the Scandinavian teams have them, like the Asian teams have them. [SPEAKER_00]: Argentina's like, no, I know we're right down next to a lot of them. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: So that seems to be a trend that they're having going on. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_01]: So there's that. [SPEAKER_01]: So basically, it's not a case of like, you know, the US, the France and all the ones that we've been watching, you've been seeing like people. [SPEAKER_01]: that are objectively, this sounds so bad. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't try to save, check it out attractive and just like, in the US, they look ready for TV in the models and all that kind of stuff for whatever.

[SPEAKER_01]: Argentina is like, these are people you would see every day. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, these are not people that we prepped for TV or anything or whatever, it's just that. [SPEAKER_01]: People of all shapes, all sizes, all heights, all colors of teeth, and, you know. [SPEAKER_00]: colors and numbers of teeth.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's, you know, I did appreciate the age range. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of older people on this show. [SPEAKER_01]: I gotta tell you, I went to go look back. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, is this a second chance his type thing because there's a lot, but it's not gonna have a 25 year old.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we have a guy, I forget, but I haven't down in my notes where I'm like, this man has either had a hard life because the bags on their eyes and he's just scruffy and that's what I mean, like they don't, they're not trying. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the other thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just like, I woke up like this for real for real.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's it. [SPEAKER_00]: They said that man was 39 and I said, no, you're not, you can't be. [SPEAKER_00]: You can't be two years by junior. [SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't make any sense. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, there's listen. [SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate it. [SPEAKER_00]: Just me. [SPEAKER_00]: The show, and this is going to sound terrible.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I understand that. [SPEAKER_00]: The show is more interesting if you really do run the risk of getting like an ego when you walk out and see this person for the first time if you know everyone there is going to be like minimum and eight on a conventional attraction scale [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: That makes the show more interesting. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's going to be cooler people are going to get dropped, you know, when they first see each other more often, to me that's more interesting than knowing yes, I'm not sure what they look like, but they're going to be hot. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not really running a risk here.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think the oldest person on there. [SPEAKER_01]: We, no, no, no, because Polita is 44 and he's 45. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, he's another person he was 42. [SPEAKER_01]: So we had a lot of people in their 40s, a lot of people in their late 30s.

[SPEAKER_01]: And these people, some, there were more people without kids. [SPEAKER_01]: So these people don't have kids. [SPEAKER_01]: And then some of them have kids, but it was more just two people. [SPEAKER_01]: who had a kid a son and somebody else had a son. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that was interesting too to find that their holders, some of them on their second marriages, but it's still, you know, that situation.

[SPEAKER_01]: Another way that Argentina is different to the whole certain not married, not even dating, not like France where they're partners. [SPEAKER_01]: It is one to one to Nara and Dario Burasi and [SPEAKER_01]: Again, and I'm only saying this because from the US lens the US is shallow everyone's going to look on point and all that the whole scenario is like he's a bigger man so that's like from from top to bottom it's like that's what they're going for in terms of looks and stuff is like it's just regular relatable don't go in there looking for like is it the host of Brazil where that couple [SPEAKER_00]: She's he's a too hot, so I was surprised, but I appreciate it because it's like he's not dating anybody.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's not here to fight well. [SPEAKER_00]: He's just here to host the show. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm also surprised that Argentina has season two out already because I feel like one just came out and I want to say that Argentina had like a whole bunch of scandal. [SPEAKER_01]: I was just seeing different things like somebody on there did something.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I hope I'm not mixing countries, but Mexico still doesn't have season two. [SPEAKER_01]: I think Dubai still hasn't come out. [SPEAKER_01]: The fictional South Africa version is not out. [SPEAKER_01]: I like it's just but Argentina had the season two and I'm like, oh.

[SPEAKER_01]: And can I just use this? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't know if anyone's moving to this thing, but I wanted to use this to bitch about kinetic, oh, maybe that's not smart. [SPEAKER_01]: But... Nice. [SPEAKER_00]: Never give this to anyone's now. [SPEAKER_01]: put some respect on MAPS name.

[SPEAKER_01]: MAPS is coming out July 12th. [SPEAKER_01]: Then they decide to bring out love is blind UK after the altar and then most recently the altar made them on the 15th. [SPEAKER_01]: We're watching MAPS, like space it out. [SPEAKER_01]: Like give some time for us to like everybody get their shine because ideally we would love to cover love is blind UK after the altar.

[SPEAKER_01]: Even though I did get a bunch of messages like who do these people with? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's weird to do a mess, but, and the ultimatum, they cancel the queer version, they're giving us back the streets, like that would have been nice for us to cover, but there's no way in hell guys that we can do, unfortunately, maps and ultimatum, maps is like three episodes every week and it's a lot.

[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see what the interest is, maybe afterwards when maps is done, but maps doesn't seem to be done until like, [SPEAKER_01]: I guess there's something so yeah, it's going to be going on for a while yeah, and I'm just why would we do that like you know Yeah, all these successful shows we love the show.

[SPEAKER_01]: We want to cover it, but it's impossible Like even for people watching forget covering it. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just at the same time the same kind of content I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I just yeah, it's a weird choice [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Another reason we're Argentina is different, they make them wear this weird mic earpiece things in their ears.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the first I was like, oh, we have a contestant that, you know, is hard of hearing. [SPEAKER_01]: Then I saw, oh, another, I was like, oh, we have two, then I'm like, wait. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they're all deaf, huh? [SPEAKER_00]: That's a nice spin. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they were all like, it's a might thing, but imagine like, where do you find this outfit?

[SPEAKER_01]: Not that, that's a problem here, but you are your finest outfits, and then there's a Mike earpiece thing that you have to, it was just really like distracting, just there. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was like, do they not just put speakers in the pod so we can hear what they're saying, they, I was confused by why they had to do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I want to see it for all the franchises. [SPEAKER_01]: I can see it just feels like here damn. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, at least you have one. [SPEAKER_00]: You know what we do, are you happy? [SPEAKER_00]: Here's the thing with Argentina. [SPEAKER_00]: After World War II, a whole lot of people who did some things in Germany and Italy, led to Argentina, which is why a lot of like famous Argentinean athletes have very Italian sounding less things. [SPEAKER_00]: Messing is not like Spanish like I mean, who's that guy that you [SPEAKER_00]: Andres Noseoni played for the bulls.

[SPEAKER_00]: They got that played for the spurs. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a ton of Italian people, Italian diaspora in Argentina because they were in trouble. [SPEAKER_00]: So that's where they ran to. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's what's going on there, I think. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, so I guess what Brian is saying is, friend, is a descendant of these people because probably, you know, their whole friend is not popular with the ladies.

[SPEAKER_01]: Brian is very direct and just says, like, weird shit and everyone's just like, yeah, no, not for me, not for me. [SPEAKER_01]: Because it did. [SPEAKER_01]: But he clicked with Wanda, one that says she's a model, and she's 25, and Wanda also clicked with another soccer player. [SPEAKER_01]: When I say Brian, but she's triggered because her ex was a soccer player.

[SPEAKER_01]: when I'm about to do this again all over her, but she does fall for him eventually, because I don't, I mean, it was like a switch. [SPEAKER_01]: She woke up one day and all of a sudden and she like, Brian and it was like, wait, wait, I thought it was all friend. [SPEAKER_01]: And Brian is so confident, like, oh gosh, like, you know, yeah, I'm dealing with one and all that.

[SPEAKER_01]: So we're gonna get into that, but Argentina is also open about who they like, everyone's always discussing it. [SPEAKER_01]: There's like one or two people who are like, I'm not talking. [SPEAKER_01]: They're getting all the information, they're listening to everyone and smiling along and like, yeah, that's I'm not saying when it is, but they speak very openly like, oh, this guy I like that's the guy I like and I'm like, okay, that works for you.

[SPEAKER_01]: We have Augustine and Carolina, I think they're supposed to be the golden couple and by the time he proposed, I don't. [SPEAKER_01]: They had a pot date where they were sobbing at every sentence and I'm like, I'm not even invested to feel sad or happy along with you, but why don't we cry?

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, this is not like a tear, it's a sobbing. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, openly weeping. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I do agree with you that we're supposed to like really cheer for this couple and think that they're like the epitome of true love or the epitome if you're sincere.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care enough about them to really get invested. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's pretty much, you know, for moves of them. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, we have Lucila Lucila is out there playing games outwardly emotionally blackmailing people. [SPEAKER_01]: She got dumped by the guy she calls Chapa and says, and then tells the girls like, yeah, he decided to go with the safe route.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, okay, that's bold. [SPEAKER_01]: We have Morena, who's also playing games in my mind, but she was just really overwhelmed by the whole thing but I think she was just overwhelmed [SPEAKER_01]: And she was going to evict herself. [SPEAKER_01]: She didn't like I mentioned friend earlier.

[SPEAKER_01]: He was telling Wanda like, you're the only one. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not talking to anyone anyway. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's playing his own game also trying to get her to just commit to him, but she didn't take it and end up with Brian. [SPEAKER_01]: But the difference is, many of the same everywhere, because Wanda womaned up and broke up with Fran.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Eric decided not to break up with Morena. [SPEAKER_01]: He was like, yeah, get put up your letter. [SPEAKER_01]: Let them tell her instead, like, I don't have anything. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, what are you doing? [SPEAKER_00]: Did he say something like, I wanted to like, spare her having to hear it like in person?

[SPEAKER_00]: No, man, like that's not how you do this. [SPEAKER_00]: No, we used to email letting you know you're fired, because we didn't want to have to tell you in person. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but the thing is, Fred Wanda [SPEAKER_01]: was it, who's Wanda with Hold On? [SPEAKER_01]: Wanda's with Eric or, Wanda's with Brian, so I don't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: Brian. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but the thing is she got engaged but did not tell Fran that she'd made her decision and when they came, they still broke up but then they all knew. [SPEAKER_01]: So all the men are just like, this is so shady, like, you didn't mention your engaged and then, Fran is like, she's a coward or something like, okay, you got rejected, just, [SPEAKER_00]: in France and disaster.

[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of felt like, and I don't know the rules of the show, obviously. [SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was once you're engaged, you don't get to go on more dates. [SPEAKER_00]: Like it's done. [SPEAKER_00]: We're we're closed off, but I guess that's not what they do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, we're engaged on the ages decide to choose each other.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's a blur now. [SPEAKER_00]: They might have just said we're going to get, because I do, you know, at least on the US for years, I think they'll get engaged at the same day, essentially. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: So it might have been like, we're going to do this, but like, [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we have Eugenia who everyone keeps calling a posh girl.

[SPEAKER_01]: If there's anyone out there who's listening from Argentina, what is it posh girl? [SPEAKER_01]: I understand that a posh girl probably means like, I don't know, upper class. [SPEAKER_01]: Because I think she's the one who comes from her dad is well known in the horse world or something.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's the one that said she grew up in like a gated community or lives in a gated community or whatever there was somebody that was like he's from the slums and I'm from a gated community. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's them but everyone just keeps saying she's a posh girl. [SPEAKER_01]: She's a posh girl.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see it with my eyes because sometimes over here you know when someone is a posh girl. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like someone tell me if that just means she comes from like a rich family or something like that. [SPEAKER_01]: We meet Andrea. [SPEAKER_01]: She does not get engaged but she's like a fairy tale kind of gal in her 30s to [SPEAKER_01]: And I just feel like the guys were hurt hard on her.

[SPEAKER_01]: They were like, she tells the guys the same thing every day. [SPEAKER_01]: She's just trying to be a love and the her number one was the guy who was obsessed with his ex. [SPEAKER_01]: He even wrote a book about his ex. [SPEAKER_01]: And then gave it to her and said, no, I just want to just stand like what about me.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, sir, you shouldn't even have made it to this round and been here. [SPEAKER_00]: Now this was an attempt to get his ex back. [SPEAKER_00]: This is him going on TV. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not over you yet. [SPEAKER_00]: Here, look, I'm telling you, I can't. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't even think of other women.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so into you still. [SPEAKER_00]: With this book that I wrote, please take me back. [SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy what being on TV would do. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you see all this love island is when they come out. [SPEAKER_01]: They go check their DMs and like, oh, I got a text from my ex and I'm like, when you text your ex on TV, what are you hoping to happen?

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you just want proximity to, she's weird. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's go straight into the reveals. [SPEAKER_01]: Our first reveal is Paula and Eric. [SPEAKER_01]: Paula is 44. [SPEAKER_01]: Eric is 45. [SPEAKER_01]: They walk out. [SPEAKER_01]: She looks tall and he looks short, but he's just a smidge taller, so it's fine. [SPEAKER_01]: But they just look so different.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like they don't fit. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He looks kind of like a [SPEAKER_00]: There's stuff, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't shave. [SPEAKER_01]: He could have got a haircut. [SPEAKER_01]: His hair looked like it was just like matted down with sweat. [SPEAKER_01]: But he wasn't at the time.

[SPEAKER_01]: And greasy. [SPEAKER_01]: There were real stuff is also weird. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like a moat. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not a moat, but it is like wood built in this water and either side. [SPEAKER_01]: There's not like a couch or anywhere to sit. [SPEAKER_01]: And it just feels like America's top model when they used to make them do all those challenges and you're like, well, if you sleep, that's your fault because the week is water over here, you'll heal gets stuck in the wood, that's on you and I'm like, who's idea was like, what do we need water on either side for this people already nervous so.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, and we rolled out 400 ball bearings with you fall. [SPEAKER_00]: You're holding it. [SPEAKER_01]: So, yes, they give each other like a long hug. [SPEAKER_01]: And then she's saying, like, you're, she told him that he's handsome. [SPEAKER_01]: And they kiss or rather he bites her face because I don't know what that was about.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she says, I've got this far because I left my doubts behind. [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think he was cold. [SPEAKER_01]: He seemed to be nice. [SPEAKER_01]: She said she struggled because she wanted to be taken aback. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I guess that's a translation for blown away.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she's just like, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I like that. [SPEAKER_01]: He's whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He's a guy, yes. [SPEAKER_01]: He said he's glad he did this and he had the courage to do this that she's beautiful and like everyone else before him he's like I can't wait to take it to the physical.

[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to notice that in Argentina it looks like there's a formula and they stick to it everyone does the same thing just in different ways. [SPEAKER_01]: You can tell that they asked him to see him questions and they asked everyone about you know the getaway that's happening afterwards because everyone mentioned something about the physical [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, then we have Augustine, who's 30 in Carolina, who's 28.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mentioned them earlier. [SPEAKER_01]: They're supposed to be, I think, the golden couple. [SPEAKER_01]: They also hug for a very long time and then they kiss and Augustine says he felt at peace with him and then she's like, oh, he's tall. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm so happy because earlier they did mention she mentioned her height she's 1.80 meters, which is 5 9 according to Alexa and he just says like she's beautiful and then he proposes he does not get on one knee to propose, but I don't know if it's because of the water.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's just not a thing. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a tough time for us to get there. [SPEAKER_01]: They ring my phone out because they get their shaking or nervous. [SPEAKER_01]: So he says it's unique because, you know, you would like, this is how you propose it. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, this is unique.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, would you like to keep getting to know each other? [SPEAKER_01]: And in the future, if we're both sure of our feelings, would you like to get married? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, bravah! [SPEAKER_01]: That's great. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the the dubbed version was similar. [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't exactly word for it, but it was like, um, you know, I let's keep on doing this and maybe get married down the line or something.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, well, I'm happy to put it. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that's honest. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's fair. [SPEAKER_01]: um he said that he didn't think that she would be this tall the caption said she's imposing yeah that was also the diversion she said she's imposing and then he says he's looking forward to the romantic getaway as well [SPEAKER_01]: We move on to Annabelle, who's 38, Gabriel, who is 42.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think Gabriel dumped Lucila last minute. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to say so he says like, and I quote, I'm nervous and I'm not having fun. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, I know it's lost in translation, but it's just so funny because it's just more intense than they mean it to me. [SPEAKER_01]: She's very nervous and emotional.

[SPEAKER_01]: They meet. [SPEAKER_01]: They kiss immediately. [SPEAKER_01]: To me, they just seem to fit. [SPEAKER_01]: He says he has butterflies in his stomach and they're like two kids with back pain because they're old. [SPEAKER_01]: You tell us her eyes giving peace and he also proposes he did not get on one knee once again Is it cultural guys or is it a fear of falling into the water he says he's surprised by how affectionate she is I'm like I suppose to wait Right, is that a bad thing or shit you should want that I think [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I couldn't tell.

[SPEAKER_01]: Is it bad who is a good, like, do you hate it? [SPEAKER_01]: Did they talk about it? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, they talked a lot, but I don't think they talked about anything. [SPEAKER_01]: And so she said she thinks he's handsome, he's dark head, and he's eyes are tender, but also intense.

[SPEAKER_01]: He says he feels happy and can't believe it, and he likes her eyes and her smile. [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like I can just just cry and remove myself from the [SPEAKER_01]: and then she pauses to wait, like, okay, so now you say you want me.

[SPEAKER_00]: It only me. [SPEAKER_00]: This is the part of what I'm going to mistake. [SPEAKER_01]: So they walk in there, they hug, all of them do the long hug thing. [SPEAKER_01]: They stare at each other, then they kiss. [SPEAKER_01]: He says the first kiss was amazing. [SPEAKER_01]: He proposes, but he gets on one knee.

[SPEAKER_01]: So now I'm like, Brian is 29. [SPEAKER_01]: Is it an age thing? [SPEAKER_00]: It could be, yeah, I got to be crying. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, Augustine is 30 though. [SPEAKER_01]: So they just like, we're not doing all that, but he does get on one knee. [SPEAKER_01]: She says that he's tall, she likes his eyes, they really like their eyes and this franchise.

[SPEAKER_01]: He says that she has a strong intimidating stare, but she's beautiful. [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know if it was a joke when they talk. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, we have the same silences like we had in the pod. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's the same connection, I don't know what he's saying. [SPEAKER_01]: He brought his teddy bear.

[SPEAKER_01]: He has like a teddy bear that he's been sleeping with the whole time and he brought it. [SPEAKER_01]: And she tries to take it and I was like, I've never stepped in before. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll take it and, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: Again, I felt not a lot of things with these people. [SPEAKER_01]: Usually you see people and you're like, oh, this is it.

[SPEAKER_01]: This was just like, have you met yet? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, let's get to the get away and let's see if this picks up because, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: when the doors open they give each other like a weird look and he seems frozen like he just stood there and I'm like is he like oh my god no I don't want this this is a way for me or like what are we doing here but then they come they do the hug he says that she's beautiful he proposes um [SPEAKER_01]: This whole, should I kneel?

[SPEAKER_01]: I can kneel if you want me to, then he does kneel eventually. [SPEAKER_01]: And then they kiss. [SPEAKER_01]: He says he likes everything about her. [SPEAKER_01]: And she says she thinks that he's really handsome. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's like, God, for reveals guys before they go in the getaway.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she tells us in the confessional like I'm not attracted enough to him to go further like, oh, oh, she goes on about if she was what he expected and that he's not what she would you should go for and she tells him like, you know I'm wondering anything besides the physical through the space I just want to connect emotionally to the person that I'm with.

[SPEAKER_01]: He tells us that he's attracted to her in his mind. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, with patients, laughs and caresses, it can grow. [SPEAKER_01]: So I think he's going to take the patient route to be like, you know, I'm just going to be there whenever she's ready. [SPEAKER_01]: As long as she's giving it a shot, we'll get there at some point.

[SPEAKER_01]: She tells us there is new sexual attraction or chemistry. [SPEAKER_01]: Zero, zero, not out. [SPEAKER_00]: So break up, break up, what do you do when staying around? [SPEAKER_01]: I guess they just broke up, but the same thing with, there's another couple in Sweden also, but they're having a baby now. [SPEAKER_01]: They really shy girl in the tall guy and he's like, I'm not sure if it's there or anything, but thanks. [SPEAKER_01]: So. [SPEAKER_01]: All that seems very shocked is they also talk a lot about who do you think is going to come?

[SPEAKER_01]: Who do you think is going to come? [SPEAKER_01]: Like who's not like, oh, I'm like okay, but she shocked that Matthias and Eugenia matched because I think she was going to be with Matthias, which is interesting because Matthias is 37 and she's 44 so that's a pretty huge age gap and I wonder if that played a part into why [SPEAKER_01]: um she also thinks that Eric might be a bit passive and he just waiting for instructions for her to tell [SPEAKER_01]: him what to do, um, his strategy is to take it slow, but she's checked out.

[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I don't know if there's anything you can do, he says like he's the one driving the relationship. [SPEAKER_01]: Then they have like, when after they've said all this, they're in the room. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, I don't know where they took, okay, I do know. [SPEAKER_01]: It's Puerto Escondito.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just not familiar with it. [SPEAKER_01]: Apparently he's far too close. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's so bad that they have to sleep with the mosquito nets in their bed. [SPEAKER_01]: on there, and if it's anything as bad as Tulum, because Tulum is like really bad, when you come to the mosquitoes, and all I'm like, this is not fun, get kicked somewhere else.

[SPEAKER_00]: And if it's me, I'm walking in that room, and I'm shutting that net, the second I get into the room. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I'm not, I'm not going to leave it open, and maybe some mosquitoes will get inside before I get in bed. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm shutting it, the second I walk in the ring.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So, they're in there after saying all the things. [SPEAKER_01]: No sexual chemistry. [SPEAKER_01]: She's being cold, Yariya, Yara, Yara. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's like, she's smiling, but due to her, she's like, get away from me. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I can't stand you.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is gross. [SPEAKER_01]: And then he says that. [SPEAKER_01]: And then she goes, yeah, he kissed me twice. [SPEAKER_01]: And I did not feel anything like nothing. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that's rough, man. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to hear that. [SPEAKER_01]: And then when they're having the conversation, he tells her, you know, you're like, more tissue.

[SPEAKER_01]: Adam's fat. [SPEAKER_00]: And her response is, well, she had black eyes, right? [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, well, that doesn't, that's not what he means. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't look like we're tissues. [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think she's going to. [SPEAKER_01]: She's 44 too. [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, I don't need to do this. [SPEAKER_01]: Like really truly had free will. [SPEAKER_01]: So. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, Eugene is just asking Mattay's questions and just trying to figure out like, are you feeling intrigued by Paula, like, what's going on?

[SPEAKER_01]: And she does throw out while saying that is like, you know, you know, I'm toxic. [SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, do you mean you or do you mean Paula? [SPEAKER_01]: And then she says it again in a confessional. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, I don't know what he's thinking if he's still thinking about her, but I mean, I did say I'm toxic.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, weird way. [SPEAKER_00]: Look, man, I'm troubled. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna ruin your whole life. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're fine with that, then we can keep going. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Mattias seems to like her, he says like he's willing to change a few things for her, like using chopsticks because she's like he can use a fork if you want to.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, no, I mean, I'll try and I'll eat some things, but he says like it's weird. [SPEAKER_01]: They're very different, but they just click. [SPEAKER_01]: He's not expecting anything tonight to happen. [SPEAKER_01]: They're just going to go with the. [SPEAKER_01]: flow. [SPEAKER_01]: She says that she's liking him more with each passing hour, and there's connection and this chemistry, and then we see them in bathing suits, because like I said, every couple seems to be doing the same thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: At some point we see all of them in bathing suits. [SPEAKER_01]: At some point we see all of them in the pool, like it's just follow this and that's how they show it to us. [SPEAKER_01]: So they're in the bathing suits in their hotel room. [SPEAKER_01]: They're like really making out, and then she whispers, we could just go to bed and I'm like, okay, then she stops it.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then she's like, yeah, I would like to, but basically the summary is she doesn't want to have sex on camera. [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, you know, I don't want the whole nation to see this. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the whole nation is going to see this. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, no. [SPEAKER_01]: So at some point, don't the cameras go away.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're supposed to, you to imagine. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know anything anymore about that show. [SPEAKER_01]: So he brings it up and says that he would like to talk to Wanda and figure out what happened to Fran. [SPEAKER_01]: And I say this all the time that this is something that is happening now in a lot of shows.

[SPEAKER_01]: All, you know, the friendship is the second story. [SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, it might be the first story in all of these dating shows. [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone wants to be loyal to their friends, stand up for their friends and then the love part is like secondary now. [SPEAKER_01]: So he wants to talk to Wanda about what happened with friend and I'm like, friend, this is his own person.

[SPEAKER_01]: You're here to build a relationship with your wife. [SPEAKER_01]: Why do you care what happened or what didn't happen? [SPEAKER_01]: that she had committed to Brian, didn't mention it to friend. [SPEAKER_01]: So she wants to see what happens. [SPEAKER_01]: They didn't know this back and forth and then he's like, if the time is right, I'll bring it up.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, well, you should do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't be, basically, don't be a worse, like, be a man. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, wouldn't you meet? [SPEAKER_01]: And then she's like, well, if you don't, I can ask and he's like, stop. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you're just looking for trouble.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm not even going to tell you. [SPEAKER_01]: And so, animal doesn't seem to think that Gabriel is giving himself fully and feels like he's just being superficial, they have like this cacao thing which I've seen in so many shows including Bachelor of Paradise. [SPEAKER_01]: And animal seems a little insecure about their relationship.

[SPEAKER_01]: She can't tell if he's attracted to her or not. [SPEAKER_01]: But then cut to them in the hotel and they're beating suits in the pool and they're like heavily making out like I was like, you guys are about to fucking this pool as far as I'm in the pool. [SPEAKER_01]: And Gabriel, well, that was it, we see them just making out, but by the next morning, it was like they had sex.

[SPEAKER_01]: Gabriel just talked about Lucila and said that he would like to talk to her and, you know, how she left. [SPEAKER_01]: And Annabelle says, no, he was like, oh wait, she left because she couldn't have me. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh boy. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm trying to tell you, if you don't say that, and I know there's just like, there's something about that story that something is missing.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like what happened, what went on with that, she didn't want to talk about it in the pods, but this might be a good time. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, it's actually bringing it up and talk about it, and I'm like, well, he's in front of you. [SPEAKER_01]: He's the one you're going to ask, like, what happened, then you can put two and two together.

[SPEAKER_01]: We know eventually they'll probably bring Lucila back to say what happened, but there's [SPEAKER_01]: Um, we also see Wanda and Gabe in the pool as well. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: So then it's time for the meetup and I'm like finally they're meeting up because I've never seen a franchise talk so much about who's coming.

[SPEAKER_01]: Who are we going to see what's it? [SPEAKER_01]: And then they come out, you know, coupled by couple. [SPEAKER_01]: They're also very happy to see each other. [SPEAKER_01]: They're like hugging. [SPEAKER_01]: Like you guys just see last week. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, that's what he's got.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then Paula and Matthias finally meet and they hug and then I cannot believe it, but that's how the fourth episode ends. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like wait. [SPEAKER_01]: So we went through all of this and we didn't even see the meet up and we're not going to because I'm not continuing this like it was just [SPEAKER_00]: you gave us nothing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Was it. [SPEAKER_01]: So guys, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: This is a record. [SPEAKER_01]: This is, like, I mean, it's never covered for episodes of love is blind in under an hour. [SPEAKER_01]: But no, on the scene, there is a, it just wasn't much and there and it wasn't like, do you see the way we could get invested and you want to know what happens?

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm good. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm fine. [SPEAKER_00]: If they get married, if they get divorced, I don't give a shit like whatever whatever you got want to do, do it. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't have any investment. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Congratulations. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry that happened to you.
