Love is Blind Netherlands: S1 Eps. 1-5 w/Brian

[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, Brian, how you doing? [SPEAKER_00]: I am in the best mood that I'm in always, because start of Halloween or Salivaktober's Halloween season for me. [SPEAKER_00]: I was putting out grave stones in my front yard five minutes ago. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna see maybe 80 or so gravestones that I put out and like neat little rows that cover the whole front yarn.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've got a bunch of spider web up, I'm putting up dry and spiders later on today. [SPEAKER_00]: This is my favorite time of year. [SPEAKER_00]: So I am an elevated mood. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're new to this guy's, Brian is obsessed with Halloween, you know, the last time we were talking about it's been raining where Brian is isn't the Midwest and I'm like, you know, maybe it's a sign maybe chill because he was trying to put it out October 1st and he's like, no, and I'm like, oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's like seven hours of work, so, like, I'm going to put it all out at the start of the month. [SPEAKER_00]: You could put them out of it, I can't. [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean it's going to put it like October 18th, and then, you know, I got to take it back down two weeks later, so I was up at like six this morning, putting the grapes don'ts out.

[SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm happy for you. [SPEAKER_01]: You like it. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's what that is, but yes, we are back. [SPEAKER_01]: I refreshed. [SPEAKER_01]: I had a good time away. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so proud of myself. [SPEAKER_01]: I actually did not put out an episode or recorded anything ahead of time.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it was from this and regular work, even though I feel like corporate America. [SPEAKER_01]: Punishes you for taking vacation because the shit storm that would be waiting for me when I go back I I can't even father, but I also did not check my work Phone laptop anything. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I checked one day and then at my husband was like stop it.

[SPEAKER_01]: So So yes, so I'm glad it was kind of nice as you know catching up on everything also because a lot of shows are out Brian And there are a lot of them are good. [SPEAKER_00]: Bravo is doing its big one except for OC but everything else is great right now [SPEAKER_01]: Listen, my own popular opinion is like, oh, see, he's not that great, but I don't think it's as terrible as everyone is saying.

[SPEAKER_01]: Especially the last few episodes, but it's not terrible. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not terrible. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, compared to Salt Lake City in New York, it's like, oh, I'm taking a step down. [SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, Salt Lake City is pretty annoying now. [SPEAKER_01]: We only have two episodes, and I don't know what they're doing.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're overproducing, they're doing fashion. [SPEAKER_01]: They're doing alliances, and I'm like, this is not looking good. [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know where we're going to go from there. [SPEAKER_01]: But honestly, for me, you know, I'm not just a bravo head.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's like a lot going on everywhere else. [SPEAKER_01]: Like ready to love his back on own. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, I watched the none house wife stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: HBO is churning out stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just like, there's a lot going to CBS at its old thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Last week, I was in the amazing race of I ever big breath.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, have it. [SPEAKER_00]: So you guys back. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm watching three traders. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm watching celebrity traders UK traders Canada in new blood and got to tell you guys new blood is third. [SPEAKER_01]: So. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my, I've not watched the other two.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm enjoying new blood. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so yeah, yeah, it's new blood is yeah, new blood is started for sure. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, so I mean heaven like life is good, you know for me This just my corporate job is getting in the way of me like diving into these shows, but yeah I happen to hear and as always because you know kinetic just wants to bombard us with all these things Regular well not regular lovers, but you Original flavor love is what it [SPEAKER_01]: You know love is blind is coming back and they're not giving us time to breathe I think it's like the week of the reunion of Netherlands then Original love is blind is coming.

[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there was like love triangles and drama in the pods, but I wasn't satisfied with how it all ended, so I'm like, oh, well, you got me halfway there. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's it's fine. [SPEAKER_00]: I would say I don't love it. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not like a favorite season of mine so far, but I'm also not like birdworm just like, uh, get this shit over with.

[SPEAKER_01]: Brand, your entire response was in question marks. [SPEAKER_01]: You spoke in question marks. [SPEAKER_01]: It's fine. [SPEAKER_01]: I think I like it, but I'm not sure. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be watching. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I completely understand what you're saying. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not like we watch it on.

[SPEAKER_01]: I go, oh my God, again, it's not the feeling we got when we watch France. [SPEAKER_01]: I think of the new additions. [SPEAKER_01]: France still is number one where we're like, what the? [SPEAKER_01]: You know, and of course you we all know what you're talking about. [SPEAKER_01]: It's their sound bite everyone's talking about it But oh my god, we watch all the countries.

[SPEAKER_01]: Is it Europe if there's not a sprinkle of the ism? [SPEAKER_00]: This was like a fire hose of it. [SPEAKER_00]: He just gave it a set it So you might be a little a little taste on top. [SPEAKER_00]: This was a lot [SPEAKER_01]: I think there are two moments, but we're gonna talk about it.

[SPEAKER_01]: But listen, I'm with you, it took a while to get going. [SPEAKER_01]: I do think it was a bit, it's the words sanitized. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, there wasn't like going on. [SPEAKER_01]: And I was told that in the Netherlands that they are very direct, which is not a lie. [SPEAKER_01]: Because getting, you know, to a Zian, I'm like, oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: There were no English. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: There were triangles, but not really drama. [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like they're also like Sweden where there's a lot of English being sprinkled in. [SPEAKER_01]: And goddamn, everybody needs a long S-piece before proposing. [SPEAKER_01]: I fast forward through.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, I just, yeah, it was- I was watching in the gym, otherwise I would have. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like trying to like line my finger up on one lip to cool machine was not gonna work out. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm like, I'll just sit here through it, I guess. [SPEAKER_01]: So I think what it is is we know that the pod is usually the ones that drags.

[SPEAKER_01]: And this was five episodes of a lot of pods. [SPEAKER_01]: But I do think based on the preview for the next batch, the drama is going to start. [SPEAKER_00]: It feels like with the drama, therefore, casting, we needed to see what happened in the pods to understand what is going to happen next.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because it seems like some shit's really going to go down. [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think we would have understood it as much if we had one scene of this couple in the pods or whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um, as always, love is mine regardless of what country they start with a very long preview is almost three minutes long and I'm like thank you Was who made this idea?

[SPEAKER_01]: We don't need to know what happens ahead of time. [SPEAKER_01]: So as always, I did not watch it. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, again, those are gems. [SPEAKER_01]: So I did wait you watch all five episodes in the gym [SPEAKER_01]: uh... the first three what uh... uh... work out must be a part of it was multiple dates of all okay but therefore an hour and fifteen minutes or so okay that's what i was wondering i was like oh yeah okay all right the host are nicklett vondam and bas smith they are [SPEAKER_01]: married.

[SPEAKER_01]: Nickel Ed Van Dam is a well-known Dutch actress. [SPEAKER_01]: She's a model and a TV presenter. [SPEAKER_01]: Bass Smith is a Dutch entrepreneur. [SPEAKER_01]: He's an influencer and a businessman. [SPEAKER_01]: On for background for them, they have been together almost two decades. [SPEAKER_01]: They've been dating since 2007.

[SPEAKER_01]: They got married in 2015 and they have two children together. [SPEAKER_01]: So, [SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're good. [SPEAKER_01]: Sweden remains, no, no. [SPEAKER_01]: Sweden remains the only person who has a loan host and France remains the only one who have unmarried cup. [SPEAKER_01]: Of course, you made a show about Mary.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So what we're going to do today is we're going to talk about the Paul talk about the characters, the little of triangles, then we'll do the reveals and then we'll do the meetups when they go for their get away. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if we've decided on what it is.

[SPEAKER_01]: I always want to call it a honey moon and I'm like, wait, they're not married. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to be a retreat because, you know, they're not retreating from anything. [SPEAKER_00]: You have no choice. [SPEAKER_01]: There's no experts. [SPEAKER_01]: It's it's a getaway, I guess.

[SPEAKER_00]: A vacation. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, vacation. [SPEAKER_01]: So we're meeting all the little people at first. [SPEAKER_01]: We have Mark Vincent, who's interesting. [SPEAKER_01]: There's Mika, who is a retrain. [SPEAKER_01]: She is about. [SPEAKER_01]: Let me say we have a [SPEAKER_01]: You black people like a handful like you can count to have hand about it.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she makes the point to say that she's going to see nothing about her looks. [SPEAKER_01]: She is 26, what she wants to start young. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, to I guess start a family or just being let's get married. [SPEAKER_01]: So the first triangle we're going to talk about is margarita, durian, and mica.

[SPEAKER_01]: Ready to introduce you to mica, durian is like 6-6 or something. [SPEAKER_00]: He's like the whole saskwash. [SPEAKER_00]: He's a good woman. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, during his two cats and he's leading with this like he's serious. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like who's on my boys? [SPEAKER_01]: Like I think at some point when he went in there, he's meeting Magrita and Magrita was like, yeah, I can't do this.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like I have an allergy. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care for them. [SPEAKER_01]: This is not a case of who was a girl in America first night. [SPEAKER_01]: It was like Marissa. [SPEAKER_01]: I will take the pills. [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care for cats like she was like again, this is a directness they talk about I have an allergy But even if I did and I don't care for them.

[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I'm allergic but also I hate them. [SPEAKER_01]: So Well, he's just like I'm drawn to you. [SPEAKER_01]: I think there's something about you And he's I'm like he just met her. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what is the thing [SPEAKER_01]: But good on her, she ended it. [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, I'm not, you know, going to drag this out.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to happen. [SPEAKER_01]: But of course, when you men once things they don't, they can't have. [SPEAKER_01]: And he wants her so bad. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, why are you so good at it? [SPEAKER_01]: Because this is where the words he was saying, he was good at. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's another thing, guys.

[SPEAKER_01]: They use the word bizarre. [SPEAKER_00]: They do say bizarre a lot. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, and with this particular couple, he was feeling this way after their first conversation, which may have been the first person he spoke to overall, because like he had this one date and he's like, oh, God, I just can't, because at the very end is when the cat being kept and he was like, oh my God, I'm devastated.

[SPEAKER_00]: I can't believe this. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, you've been talking her for maybe 45 minutes. [SPEAKER_00]: Like it hasn't been that long. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, you just met her. [SPEAKER_01]: Like two days ago, you're fine. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure you're fine.

[SPEAKER_01]: Again. [SPEAKER_01]: So he gets into the men's lounge and then he tells them like, oh man, she said she broke up with me. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not gonna work. [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, oh, why? [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, cause of the boys. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, what? [SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, what?

[SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, oh, I feel like, oh, I can't even get the gas to cats. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's. [SPEAKER_01]: She does share with the girls that she broke up with him. [SPEAKER_01]: But she makes a comment, like, yeah, I don't like the he's emotional. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's a ding. [SPEAKER_01]: So then his free to pursue his connection with Mika, I'm sure there are other connections that we just don't know about, but for the sake of the story, it is Mika. [SPEAKER_01]: And he opens up to her. [SPEAKER_01]: He shares that he had a benign brain tumor and he's actually death in one ear.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it's funny that he said that because not funny, ha, ha, but like after this, it's not like it's anything we noticed. [SPEAKER_01]: Like if he hadn't said anything, it wasn't a case of like he was saying what, what did you say from when they meet up and stuff? [SPEAKER_01]: And we did have someone with this on, I don't think I did this with you Sweden.

[SPEAKER_01]: We had a brain tumor, and by the reunion, he had had to have another surgery, it was actually something serious. [SPEAKER_00]: I think we did, either, either we did that one together or I watched that season. [SPEAKER_00]: Because we didn't do one season, we didn't do one season together.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because you went, no, this one, I did solo. [SPEAKER_01]: You went on vacation. [SPEAKER_00]: OK. Yeah, very good. [SPEAKER_00]: I watched them playing in the late back. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And then in the vein of that, she also shared that she has Crohn's disease. [SPEAKER_01]: And she had like a bad flare-up recently.

[SPEAKER_01]: So they bonded with their illnesses, I guess. [SPEAKER_00]: So it was a hospital. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So she says she didn't want to reveal her identity earlier. [SPEAKER_01]: But then, [SPEAKER_01]: hints because they're talking about their last names and she's like, oh, I don't want to see my last name.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then she goes, why not? [SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, my last name might give it away. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, well, if you're doing all of this, then you kind of hints that you're doing something. [SPEAKER_01]: And somebody else that did this was, oh, the DC season of Love is blind USA.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're still together. [SPEAKER_01]: Garrett and oh, I don't remember her. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Garrett the scientists. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't think of what I was. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, her. [SPEAKER_01]: Her Instagram name is coming to mind Chinese disco baby, but I don't have a camera I told her that Actually Taylor That's not Taylor Taylor Taylor is the one who thought her husband was short So maybe they're both Stop screaming at us There's too much to remember guys This was nine years ago who knows who was [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Garrett is married.

[SPEAKER_01]: It is Taylor. [SPEAKER_01]: Trust me, self-taing. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I'll be even in her case. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, because she said, oh, I don't want to reveal it. [SPEAKER_01]: Like my last scene would tell you where I am. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, by the time you do all that, all I'm hearing is, oh, non-white.

[SPEAKER_01]: I just, if you're trying not to reveal, just go along with the flames. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I don't want to tell you. [SPEAKER_01]: I just rather not. [SPEAKER_01]: I just don't want to. [SPEAKER_01]: And then end it, you know, there. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's getting rattled. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like like I said all you would hear is not white, and I think that's all he was hearing and he was like What what do you eat?

[SPEAKER_01]: I thought you were fully Dutch you sound really Dutch. [SPEAKER_01]: Did you catfish me? [SPEAKER_01]: What what do you mean you are not Dutch? [SPEAKER_01]: Like well, I mean I'm just saying I'm not saying anything, but okay, let me ask you this Do you have a type you wouldn't go for which is an interesting way [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Ask. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a roundabout with ask. [SPEAKER_01]: That question. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, how do I see this? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, this is a part where, again, that's saying like it's right, but on national television, I'm going to be like, no, not really.

[SPEAKER_01]: I've only dated XYZ, but [SPEAKER_01]: He says, I would not go for a woman who was very dark-skinned or anything like that. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_00]: So this is one of those cases where our translations are different. [SPEAKER_00]: Because you watch the subtitles, I watched the dubbed.

[SPEAKER_00]: On the dubbed version, what he said is, I just can't imagine falling in love with someone who's fully black. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, like if you're half, it's okay. [SPEAKER_00]: We could do with that, but like [SPEAKER_00]: They're awful. [SPEAKER_01]: Both awful because also guys, when she goes to tell the girls in the women's lounge, what she says, what I got in the captions was he said I can't date a woman of color.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what they said. [SPEAKER_01]: They said I'm just like, so what was edited? [SPEAKER_01]: Because now I'm like, okay, I don't think the dark skin is actually what he said because what she said in the lounge was woman of color. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, oh, this is the point where you're like, I love you so much.

[SPEAKER_01]: Even though I just met you eight days ago or a week ago, but this is I can't not be your experiment. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but I don't know how many thoughts because I was just like, is this just like a cultural difference where in America you hear that and it's like, all right, well, we've got to throw hands now and like I'll never talk in you again I'll make sure you get fired from your job over this, but over there.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's just like, I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: He just, I hope you can fix this. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what? [SPEAKER_01]: You open your next The other thing How I go see this like you said [SPEAKER_01]: Here? [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: When I go, when I try, I tell you guys, I have family all around.

[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes when it's situations, I'm known as the American who's out here, always ready to throw hands. [SPEAKER_01]: Everything is. [SPEAKER_01]: Why are you looking at me like that? [SPEAKER_01]: Why you say like that? [SPEAKER_01]: Is it because? [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know other cultures enough to know exactly what you said.

[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I don't think that makes it okay. [SPEAKER_01]: They need to catch up. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm like, why aren't you, I'm mad for you. [SPEAKER_00]: Why aren't you mad like I'm mad? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's this, is this, like you said, that's why she's still like, oh, maybe he needs to act like he said something and then that's enough and that's it because over here.

[SPEAKER_01]: And baby, all the credits, thanks show your service. [SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna have a terrible reunion. [SPEAKER_01]: That's it. [SPEAKER_01]: So I think what's gonna be interesting is how this is handled in the reunion. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if faith is even gonna, well, it should come up.

[SPEAKER_01]: They shouldn't even worry. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's going, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But I need to understand the thought process why you even said it at all, what you're gonna say. [SPEAKER_01]: Cause there was so many ways to go about this. [SPEAKER_01]: I've never dated a black woman, but I like you so much and blah blah, again, nothing is gonna be good.

[SPEAKER_01]: She was okay with it because again, I don't know what the culture is [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, you know, how she's been treated. [SPEAKER_01]: Is this a case of like I just want to assimilate? [SPEAKER_01]: How she dated white people? [SPEAKER_01]: How she, I don't know, it was just odd.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's not our culture here. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: I was just confused by it. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't understand her reaction. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't understand the reaction of the women in the pot. [SPEAKER_00]: Like in the lounge when she went back, because I would have figured they would have been like, oh fuck that guy.

[SPEAKER_00]: He said, what? [SPEAKER_00]: And they were just like, oh no, no, no, no, no. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not your reaction to this. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean they gasped. [SPEAKER_00]: They gasped. [SPEAKER_00]: They were like never see him again or let me go in there and set him straight. [SPEAKER_00]: It was just like, oh, that sucks.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no. [SPEAKER_01]: Like maybe there is blah blah, so guys, if there's anyone much like I always ask if you're out in the Netherlands and you have insight into this Um, particularly like if there's anyone who's black and over there, please share your perspective I would really like to have some understanding on this because you know, I say this all the time where a lot of us Americans go to other countries and we're just like trying to throw our [SPEAKER_01]: Our thoughts and ways we do things over there like you can't do this and we just have to accept that For better for worse people do things differently.

[SPEAKER_01]: Again, not okay. [SPEAKER_01]: It should not be okay, but I just want to understand What both of them? [SPEAKER_01]: We're thinking at the sum because she's not saying anything because you know the people. [SPEAKER_01]: No, there is this to sound by going everywhere It's hit American audiences and it was like what and they try to find you know Their socials to see you know what that's about [SPEAKER_01]: Um, that sign was definitely gave away how she felt about it.

[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, uh, he's just like worried about it, like, I think something's changed. [SPEAKER_01]: And I can't tell if he's bothered by her reaction or if he's like, oh, my God, she's not a white. [SPEAKER_01]: Who do I do? [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's that. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's like, oh, this whole time, I thought, you know, blonde and blue eye, and now something else.

[SPEAKER_01]: Do you, is any red flags or in fact when he comes to Ludo? [SPEAKER_01]: Or do you just think, oh, he's just friendly and no harm. [SPEAKER_00]: No harm.

[SPEAKER_00]: No harm. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: The red flags to me are not about his behavior. [SPEAKER_00]: Because I'm also like flirty like talking to people, whatever it's fine. [SPEAKER_00]: It is the fact that he can't read her reaction to this at all. [SPEAKER_00]: and doesn't seem to care that she's not saying hey, I don't like this, but so much of what she's saying without saying it is communicating that.

[SPEAKER_00]: So his lack of an ability to like understand that she's being upset by what you're doing is a red flag for me. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so devil's advocate. [SPEAKER_01]: Jazz is not like good with her words. [SPEAKER_01]: She doesn't actually say it because she's stuck on, I'm cool, I'm cool, I'm not going to, you know, whatever we know because she's saying all this comments to the girls, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: But she's acting like, I mean, she said it, I'm not jealous. [SPEAKER_01]: You can do whatever you want, blah, blah, blah. [SPEAKER_01]: So people who just met, how would he know? [SPEAKER_01]: Remember, dating date. [SPEAKER_01]: The thing that's missing with love is blind is yes, you have the connection, yes, you have the conversations, but about the body language is not there.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, can't read cues for that. [SPEAKER_01]: So what what I would argue is not necessarily how she's feeling, but you should know, even without her being upset or not. [SPEAKER_01]: And he literally walks away. [SPEAKER_01]: He walks away. [SPEAKER_01]: I do think that Jasmine has some work to do, but also Ludo is not all the way ready. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, she just needs to be, [SPEAKER_01]: She seems to be tipped on in the lineup. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want you to leave, so I don't want to upset you.

[SPEAKER_01]: But at the same time, where did she stand up for herself, without wanting to upset him? [SPEAKER_01]: And he's just like, just what is going on right now? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she always just seems to want to seek his approval and just want to be in his good side and, you know, when they're going home, they're walking, you know, to the pathway and then she's like, [SPEAKER_01]: to have in there. [SPEAKER_01]: And then Ludo gives me a red flag here where he's like, no, not right now.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't love you right now, especially after doing that. [SPEAKER_01]: Like he just seems like someone who would like withhold or punish you or something. [SPEAKER_01]: And it wasn't like, hey, I'm really upset right now. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I just left, let's go with the fact that he says he didn't say that.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, you know, I wish you hadn't said that because now it's going to blow up. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we'll get a rule work through it. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't love you right now, meaning that my quote unquote love for you is dependent on you being on your best behavior or your good.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's conditional. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I like I just do what I want and I will love you and if you do things I don't like that I don't love you anymore. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so that was a nice to see. [SPEAKER_01]: Marella is talking to all the people they ask her about her in Gino, and she's like, we're fine.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're great. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, you know, the intimacy, I guess they're having sex for you. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: So she's like, yeah, we're fine there. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, oh, that was so unconvincing. [SPEAKER_01]: Marella. [SPEAKER_01]: So they go back to the hotel and my new and marker talking because Mark was talking to Gina earlier talking about Merlella and Gina was like, you know, the thing about her is that she asked all the hard questions and you know, it's great because it makes me think and all that and this motherfucker.

[SPEAKER_01]: goes back and it's talking to her and it's saying like all these things and then she's like, you know, I'm going to challenge you. [SPEAKER_01]: Like maybe you should ask me the hard questions to versus ask me when are you grateful for? [SPEAKER_01]: That was insane. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I this there was a point during this fight where I'm like, what are you fighting about?

[SPEAKER_00]: Like what are you? [SPEAKER_00]: It almost felt like he just wanted to pick a fight. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was just like I'm just trying to start a conflict [SPEAKER_00]: because he said so many things. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm giving you permission to ask me. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, so he uses a lot of things and my new is just like, you know what, I'm just going to walk away from this conversation because I have no idea what is happening right now and he's like, yeah, sure, I'm like, okay, this man is not I'm not labeling him, but again, I'm just going to go with not of this world because the first time was how he overreacted to the whole surfing thing, then the other one was like, so would you be going, you think like he's better looking in all that and then now, [SPEAKER_01]: you're blaming her for not asking questions because you too could ask questions.

[SPEAKER_01]: The whole is not on her. [SPEAKER_00]: There's even a part where he's sitting outside at the she goes in. [SPEAKER_01]: She has to see what he looks like because she has her phone back. [SPEAKER_01]: So she has to have fun on Instagram and she's like, oh yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is what I was looking for. [SPEAKER_00]: Yep, that's what he is. [SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see, I mean, because, you know, he's named Miguel, and he talks about me from Spain. [SPEAKER_01]: So she knows all of that, but I guess that's better for her. [SPEAKER_00]: Apparently. [SPEAKER_01]: But also, Ruel, where is Ruel from?

[SPEAKER_01]: Deligates, is that, well, I don't need Deligates to tell me, but it's not a Dutch name. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm assuming. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Is it? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but uh that jury and was a Dutch name so god knows I don't know anything [SPEAKER_01]: So we get the previous for the next batch they do look good Miguel says he has to tell he has to tell me something and fingers tightly crossed that the something he's going to tell her is that he hooked up with Claire because you know what you want to come back and be obsessed with Miguel well I too can be obsessed with my other connects and I hope that they hooked up and I hope you become number two and you know what it feels like.

[SPEAKER_00]: I hope they hooked up and hope they make out right in front of you at the whole group together, like I want I want you to feel bad You know I just want you to feel bad about what you've done So yeah, so I'm hoping that it picks up like on a scale up one to ten what would you give the first few episodes?

[SPEAKER_00]: Like a six and a half, it's right in the middle from me, it's not like I said nothing about this even like the drama that we had I wasn't like, oh this is a good shit, but I'm also happy that there wasn't just no drama So like it's yeah, it's fine. [SPEAKER_01]: I Wouldn't give it a seven.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think I would give it a five, but to me my baseline is like I do not come in here And be like I'm not doing this we're dropping this so that's true. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, this isn't fake arm as forever that show was [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, so it works, so we'll see what the next batch gives, but I do like it's not like who was it?
