[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, everybody. [SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to another episode of Tain Talks. [SPEAKER_01]: I am your host, Tain. [SPEAKER_01]: Here to talk about the final episode of Love's Blind UK Season 3 AKA the reunion partner in front with me. [SPEAKER_01]: It is Brian from Mass Virgin. [SPEAKER_01]: Hi, Brian.
[SPEAKER_01]: How are you? [SPEAKER_00]: I am great. [SPEAKER_00]: We were just talking, before we started recording all the reality shows I'm getting caught up on. [SPEAKER_00]: And, uh, masks really kind of put a dent into my watching abilities. [SPEAKER_00]: So now it feels good to be swimming back in that nasty, gross, bravo stew that I belong to.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I've been saying that I had my first episode of Reality Show Rumble Out, which you guys should go check out as the last episode before this, because it felt so good. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm back to watching all the things that, you know, I wanted to because again, [SPEAKER_01]: Master is just keeping us in a bubble.
[SPEAKER_01]: But so yeah, we're covering the Love Is Blind UK season three reunion, but we've talked about this before, but confirmation that Love is Blind Netherlands, how was when you say Amsterdam? [SPEAKER_01]: Love is my Netherlands. [SPEAKER_00]: It should be one city. [SPEAKER_01]: It's coming out.
[SPEAKER_01]: I first thought it was a 20th, but it's not. [SPEAKER_01]: It is coming out on the 30th, which is great. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, if I haven't mentioned before episodes this week, next week, I am going on vacation. [SPEAKER_01]: I need a break guys, like I'm gonna go chill. [SPEAKER_01]: Brian has has 50, 11 vacation, so I'm taking a date from his book.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, it's just, they're all in the summer. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't go anywhere. [SPEAKER_00]: We go, we have one spring trip, but I work on teacher's hours. [SPEAKER_00]: So if there's summer vacation, we can go wherever we want to go. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so yeah, I'm taking mine. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm trying to make it a true vacation.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes I just like record a head, have something but honestly I'm trying to like unplug because for those of you who watch Love Island, mom needs rest. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm gonna go do that. [SPEAKER_01]: So I mean if you see any episode come out even then mind your business, I didn't stay true to my word, but it is what it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, love is nine Netherlands is going to be next and let me know what you guys think. [SPEAKER_01]: I think I said it the last time. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have high hopes for it I just don't know what to expect, but for some reason I don't have high hopes for it, but I hope it is good and it will tie us over.
[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, [SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I don't, it certainly might be you only one that I know for sure is like every February So like it they do them otherwise whenever they feel like it I guess yeah Either way, we will be here loves lime boots in the ground. [SPEAKER_01]: We're always on there except if you're Argentina sorry to that man But um and those old Zillions You know what I should do that for fun That's what I'll watch it at this point.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I didn't know one talk about it. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it was bad. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, um, Brian and I were talking before recording about sister wives. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why we just didn't wait to get on the mic. [SPEAKER_01]: We're just surprised at, you know, Robin and Cody leaving the show.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm surprised Brian is not surprised. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm surprised because how did I make money like this was their source of income. [SPEAKER_01]: But I think I put this on my stories where I was like, [SPEAKER_01]: What do we think? [SPEAKER_01]: Do we think there's a spin-off coming with TLC?
[SPEAKER_01]: Do we think it's like a temporary thing, and then something else is gonna be announced? [SPEAKER_01]: Or what the heck is this? [SPEAKER_01]: I just can't believe, I mean, this has to be Robin's call. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, everything is Robin's call. [SPEAKER_00]: Everything that happens in Cody's life is Robin's call.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think TLC would give them a spinoff because like, they have to know their audience better than that than to think that anybody's gonna watch a Cody and Robin solo show where just like them having fun and being in love. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to watch that. [SPEAKER_01]: Can I can I counter that TLC, at least in my mind, is known for the most unlikable characters?
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why we've been tortured by these characters [SPEAKER_01]: 90 day fiance because you know nobody wants to work Jasmine and Gino and we've seen them Relinquously big head and all the people Angela or until they couldn't anymore and I mean Plastory is still going on. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I just that's my argument for you they say that but he also is like They still bring greetings.
[SPEAKER_01]: They say they won't but they will [SPEAKER_00]: Well, and see that the thing with that is I heard an interview with somebody in the production team explaining why they have these people on and they explained it in terms that I can understand because I used to watch wrestling as a kid and they were like if you think about if you ask somebody what wrestling is the first thing that comes to mind is Hulk Hogan, Hulk Hogan can't wrestle he couldn't wrestle he wasn't any girl in the mic he was just really recognizable and they booked him to always win [SPEAKER_00]: So it became very recognizable.
[SPEAKER_00]: They were like, if you ask a person who's never seen 90 day fiancee about it, is that that show with that dude with no neck? [SPEAKER_00]: And that really loud, something like, you know, you're in that black man, like they recognize those people. [SPEAKER_00]: That they show with a guy that clicks head off.
[SPEAKER_00]: And his wife's always screaming at him for whatever reason. [SPEAKER_00]: So like, they keep them around because those are the people that like show up in memes and stuff basically. [SPEAKER_00]: And like gifts that they can reuse to [SPEAKER_01]: You know, clips. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Those are recognizable people. [SPEAKER_00]: Even though people that watch the show hate them, I don't even, I mean, Robin has no charisma. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not like, Oh, we keep her around because people that don't know sister wives. [SPEAKER_00]: They all know Robin.
[SPEAKER_00]: They have no idea who she is. [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't imagine they're going to give them a spin off. [SPEAKER_00]: I think. [SPEAKER_00]: more likely they would do a YouTube thing where they have a channel where they get to like tell their side of things and no one's going to want to watch or maybe they will try to do their own podcast and no one's going to listen to.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I can't imagine TLC would double down on the Cody Brown extended universe at this stage in the show. [SPEAKER_00]: This was like 10 12 seasons ago maybe [SPEAKER_01]: can't believe they caught off a source of income. [SPEAKER_01]: That's just what's surprising to me. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's weird.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're getting to love his mind UK, but we got to talk about this in our originals. [SPEAKER_01]: We're married our first site. [SPEAKER_01]: This whole thing that's going on with Paul and Patrick. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God. [SPEAKER_01]: We pay and the holes and all of that. [SPEAKER_01]: What are your thoughts on this?
[SPEAKER_00]: My grandmother would say they got a little bit too familiar. [SPEAKER_00]: they were, they were too comfortable in this conversation. [SPEAKER_00]: And I can understand what they thought they were doing. [SPEAKER_00]: Boy, this was web setting. [SPEAKER_00]: Because like, it's not, I mean, there's no good way to put, you don't call women holes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, you don't do that. [SPEAKER_00]: Even if you're talking about the actual body parts, don't call them holes, it's like, what a stop. [SPEAKER_01]: to lay the ground for anyone who's not familiar. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, Paul and Paz, the new experts in you hit cool experts from Marida First Site have their own podcast called Love and Session, and they're having people from the current season, come on, and they had Felipe, come on.
[SPEAKER_01]: Felipe, most noticeably, well, famously known for saying that he was thinking of cheating on his, [SPEAKER_01]: wife missing people hand in the zoom and said he wasn't sure if it was getting married and then the experts told her that where your DMs would be flooded and she's like, wait, but he comes on there instead of getting like a school dig or just like, you know, being remorseful or anything, they decide to ask him how many holes are you?
[SPEAKER_01]: What did they say? [SPEAKER_00]: How many holes is your dick going in these days? [SPEAKER_00]: Something like that might get paraphrase. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think dick was used, but that was the actually that's what it was. [SPEAKER_01]: It was like, how many holes are you getting into these days or something like that?
[SPEAKER_01]: And you kept saying that repeatedly. [SPEAKER_01]: And then they were laughing. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think this is the consequence of where we're headed with masks. [SPEAKER_01]: Again, it's like, yes, it's young, it's hip, it's cool. [SPEAKER_01]: That's where they're trying to get and getting to the, you know, the mark of what reality TV is now.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's just there was something about the experts. [SPEAKER_01]: We complained the former experts. [SPEAKER_01]: We complained about them all the time. [SPEAKER_01]: But there was still that [SPEAKER_01]: delineation that the experts came that you still kind of like side of straighter is like the principal comes in and you have it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a parent trying to be your kids friend. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: They're doing so much of it and you're being so familiar like yes to season maybe over but you're going to have new people. [SPEAKER_01]: You're going to have new people come over and you're going to have to look at someone who just set the things with the holes who said you know other things you know how do you [SPEAKER_01]: There's a line and there's always a balance, you know, and again, I keep insisting like, you know, passes a license, you know, therapist.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just, the excuse for Paul all the time is like, oh, he's not a license. [SPEAKER_01]: So he has free with, but either way, you're a mature man, 51, that you'd have some confidence in. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's not okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's just disrespectful, so all the alums from Marida for a side, they had a bit about who's there was comments and all the things being said, I mean right play on the stand and especially since it's almost like they're trying to act like old masks never existed, they're doing old masks like what even though people are discovering it, they were the ones who set the ground for masks to be so it's just a very [SPEAKER_01]: We're time for us to be maps like everyone's like embracing you and bracing you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we are, but it's like you can't just embrace something and act like the last 18 seasons on lifetime never happened. [SPEAKER_01]: I just, you know [SPEAKER_00]: No, and really, if I understand asking that question, of course. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a question that needs to be asked considering how Philippe showed up on the show.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's very easy to say, Philippe, are you being monogamous right now? [SPEAKER_00]: Philippe? [SPEAKER_00]: Are you, yeah, are you, are you seeing multiple people right now? [SPEAKER_01]: Simple. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to say how many holes is it going into? [SPEAKER_00]: Like that is not okay, man.
[SPEAKER_01]: Even worse, like, you know, I didn't have money. [SPEAKER_01]: They're not like us. [SPEAKER_01]: Why not like sitting here, throw the clothes, edit it in ourselves. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, jadding all that. [SPEAKER_01]: They have people. [SPEAKER_01]: They have people they have to go through.
[SPEAKER_01]: They have not networks and networks because there's a peak of all that. [SPEAKER_01]: Everybody went through this and it was like, yep, full, send it, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, not only, not only put this on the show, clip this for social media, people are gonna want to enjoy this, that complete swing in a mess.
[SPEAKER_01]: If he, like, again, not okay in any ways, like, or whatever, I'm just trying to say, like, definitely advocate, like, at the very worst case scenario, if he was [SPEAKER_01]: Good to his wife or they ended up together and it's like a joke, something this man treated somebody else like wasted her time.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we're rewarding that behavior and I was like, are you doing? [SPEAKER_00]: You practically, I can't but he played in her face and never treated like it's all a big joke. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and again, maybe we're the idiots. [SPEAKER_01]: The whole point is to get people talking. [SPEAKER_01]: The first time.
[SPEAKER_01]: They got the people, they got the people going. [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone's talking about it. [SPEAKER_01]: The show's done, and they're still talking about it. [SPEAKER_01]: And there's all the rule out. [SPEAKER_01]: As predicted, like I said, they're going on the vial files, AD's podcasts, and all that.
[SPEAKER_01]: So like I said, guys, I don't think anyone's coming here. [SPEAKER_01]: So sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't even know I exist. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I feel like I tried. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: We will head straight into the reunion. [SPEAKER_01]: And what were you thought about the reunion?
[SPEAKER_01]: How, what did you think about it? [SPEAKER_00]: This reunion could have been an email. [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing happened. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I know what you had to have it. [SPEAKER_00]: I can see the silver lining of boy. [SPEAKER_00]: You guys had made some great couples. [SPEAKER_00]: But like I'm just sitting here like, [SPEAKER_00]: Someone threw a chair or something.
[SPEAKER_00]: I still want to do something. [SPEAKER_00]: Bring it up. [SPEAKER_01]: Let me ask you this. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're a producer, do you consider this season a win? [SPEAKER_00]: Um, good question. [SPEAKER_00]: I, you know what, in the short term, no, in a long term, yes. [SPEAKER_00]: In the short term, no, because this is the ultimate, like, forgettable season, like nothing really, like juicy or crazy happened in a way where, like, I'm going to remember any people's names in a week from now.
[SPEAKER_00]: In the long term, yes, because you did show, [SPEAKER_00]: This show can do what it's supposed to do. [SPEAKER_00]: It can produce couples who would never have met otherwise, who fell in love in the pods, who wound up working out and for any kind of a dating show to survive, you need to have some success stories.
[SPEAKER_00]: It can't just be train wrecks every season because then the suspense is gone and you're like, why know they're all gonna break up so what's the point of watching? [SPEAKER_00]: So, [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I guess in terms of like building a bench and being able to point and say, look at all these couples that have really worked out, that's valuable, but boy.
[SPEAKER_00]: In terms of just like entertainment value, not not their best work. [SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, piggybacking off what you just said, it's also so that they can give Jasmine and Bobby and Megan and Keira to break because that's the only people. [SPEAKER_01]: And they keep bringing them for every single thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: So in terms of the stats, padding the stats and everything, it is. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's also reminder for people like me who are like, oh, we shot the love and the, you know, balance and the mess, whatever, this is what happens when you have the love and the stuff, but I mean, there wasn't drama like I mean, Jack gave us some drama, but I feel like the drama was not amped up enough as an American, this is polite drama like we said, it's the, it's like Kira being the villain and it's like, she really do anything, but just getting to people's business and wasn't like, you know, [SPEAKER_00]: And she wasn't malicious about it, and this should have brought out the woman that Jack went to go see onto the stage during this time when he turns out when you went missing we had a car follow you and here she comes like do that to amp this up a little bit you still think he went to see somebody.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what he did but probably I don't know what else that it makes the most sense to me. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the most logical explanation. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we're going to get there and I'm just kind of sure. [SPEAKER_01]: I think I want to see that I did mean that I mentioned in the last one like where they said, [SPEAKER_01]: All the, no, I mentioned in the last one already like there were two couples.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it seems like there were two couples to survive. [SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was odd that they didn't talk about the number of engagements they had and who was together or not. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I think you would put the pod squad in the audience and say, hey, these are the people who there's that we had a record breaking.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't know if they think it's something to be ashamed of. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's a flex. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's a flex. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think you sit them all at their own individual tables in the front row for the audience and say, hey, by the way, look at all these other couples that are also happy as hell that we put together on this show.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like unfortunately, we can't follow all their stories, but look what happens, you know, from here. [SPEAKER_01]: And then if it is true that everyone broke up except to bring the two people. [SPEAKER_00]: And see, we're not going to listen to that. [SPEAKER_01]: So that was very surprising, you know, for me that that didn't happen, but I would have done that at our friends and family.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, all right, I'll take a clearly quick break, and then we'll for real, for real, dive into the reunion. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, and we're back. [SPEAKER_01]: So the reunion starts with Netflix getting in on the whole viral, Netflix docthing, POV, whatever, doing my job, when whatever it was.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I mean, they got it on it before the fight. [SPEAKER_01]: Like you say out, if I ever hear the violence again for the Netflix, I would be okay in this life. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was kind of cute, but yeah, it happened. [SPEAKER_01]: Emma comes in there and she does that and they start to reunion.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know you're not in America because Emma's like screwed. [SPEAKER_01]: I can't see Emma in my glasses. [SPEAKER_01]: No context is building for me. [SPEAKER_01]: She wore her glasses. [SPEAKER_00]: Big old glasses. [SPEAKER_00]: with the auxiliary bar across the top of everything. [SPEAKER_01]: We find out that it is a year after, good, good.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, love is mine is pretty good, at making it like a whole. [SPEAKER_01]: year after. [SPEAKER_01]: But there is no preamble. [SPEAKER_01]: All the contestants are announced and they just all come out and they're sitting in their couples and then the singles, like nobody's trying to hide anything.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you've been listening to us long enough, you know, like the worst is always still Mexico, where they meet them come out to give them a hammer and they broke it or not to show if they were together or not. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what are we doing? [SPEAKER_01]: They tell us that friends and families and some pod squads in the audience and we see people from season 1 and 2 and I just want to say that Freddy is there too and for a man that is allegedly so good, so kind, so damn pretty.
[SPEAKER_01]: Why can't this man find love? [SPEAKER_01]: He's been a perfect match too. [SPEAKER_01]: Still didn't find love. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he went for the toxic person but now that makes me think that something is wrong with him and I don't know what that is. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know what it is but something's going on because if especially as as notable as you are as a person right now where I know your DMs are flooded, what are you doing that's causing you to still be single all this time later.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, funeral Freddy, Sophie still doesn't know who the prime minister is. [SPEAKER_01]: She didn't even bother correcting it. [SPEAKER_01]: So, oh my god, there we go. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, we are starting with Kira and AJ. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, Matt does like a kind of Bridgetton intro for Kira because if you remember, John was like the hottest singleton is leaving or, you know, they're sad or something like that.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're not asking if they're still together. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going straight into videos from their first year. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to like here in AJ's videos, we're cute. [SPEAKER_01]: But I just understand by what I said the last time. [SPEAKER_00]: AJ still feels like he's looking for approval or waiting for permission to can I have fun?
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay, yeah, I can, you know, and then they asked for an update and they're like, oh, there's still together. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, no shit Sherlock, if you show us a video from your last year, I would hope you didn't get together just to do the video. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it would be odd to be enough if you broke up and I were after that last clip ended.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, we find out that they weren't Australian for six months because they asked them how it was the last year and they were like, they just got back to London and I was like, I need more info in this. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, these are the things I need info on. [SPEAKER_01]: What are the things I need to know?
[SPEAKER_01]: I need to know, like, is he not working on his business anymore, where they both not working? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, whenever people are like, oh, I'm gonna travel the world, I'm just like, how are you funding your life? [SPEAKER_01]: I want to travel the world, but if I do that, I cannot pay my bills.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, somehow, 90 day Katie travels a role as a pet sitter, like what are you talking about? [SPEAKER_00]: See, yeah, I don't understand how they, I'm still not sure. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they were just like, yeah, we went to Australia for six months and like, took in the best that Sydney had to offer.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, yeah, how would why did you do that? [SPEAKER_01]: That's my quote. [SPEAKER_01]: That would have been my question. [SPEAKER_01]: Why have been to our flat in Wimbledon? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, what is like give me the deeds? [SPEAKER_01]: We're getting none of that. [SPEAKER_01]: AJ said they made the choice to do that.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm screaming like, but why? [SPEAKER_01]: Like give me more. [SPEAKER_01]: But the thing they're looking forward to is a big fat Indian wedding and these are the times where I feel less crazy because I know I watch intensely and I notice all this little things instead of just enjoying the show but we did talk about it Brian and Emma makes a thing about putting a cushion over her legs because remember AJ had a thing we're just a conversation got the blood rushing over there.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, if I have a thing, I cringe a little, I'm like, his parents are in the audience. [SPEAKER_01]: And you know, culture that is like, shy or like, stop. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't do that. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, yes and no, that culture also produced the Kapa Sutra. [SPEAKER_00]: So they, you can see that.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they are like, I'm still still, they didn't want to be on camera, Brian. [SPEAKER_01]: You got always that's fair. [SPEAKER_01]: You guys always remember that. [SPEAKER_01]: The Jack Love triangle comes up and I'm like, why are we talking about it? [SPEAKER_01]: Roll the tape. [SPEAKER_01]: Roll the tape on what happened and then roll the tape on what was said.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what are we doing here? [SPEAKER_01]: But I have to remember, this is what happens when you ask for love and not mess because we're not to get any mess. [SPEAKER_01]: So once again, we have to go over this. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so sick of this conversation. [SPEAKER_01]: They talked about it.
[SPEAKER_00]: It goes nowhere. [SPEAKER_00]: There were never going to get anything resembling like a satisfying answer to it, drop this. [SPEAKER_00]: It's stupid. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, they said what we said from jump. [SPEAKER_01]: It was very easy to misunderstand. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not that difficult.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a miscommunication. [SPEAKER_01]: That's it. [SPEAKER_01]: Jack apologizes to AJ again. [SPEAKER_01]: And AJ says that he accepts it. [SPEAKER_01]: But the thing that he wishes that Jack would have done with his hidden sent things in a nice way, I was like, what? [SPEAKER_01]: Because he said that the conversation was boring.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, the way AJ was speaking, you just know that Kira had told him that he needs to stand up for her. [SPEAKER_00]: at the beginning of his own accord. [SPEAKER_01]: Jack said like what was frustrating was at the connection and did halfway through the whole journey. [SPEAKER_01]: And yet it just kept coming up over and over again.
[SPEAKER_01]: And she keeps saying she's over it. [SPEAKER_01]: But she was the one who kept bringing it up. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, that would be annoying. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that would have been really crazy. [SPEAKER_00]: I would not like that. [SPEAKER_01]: Because it just puts a damp on your relationship and even for poor faith like thank God She's like good-natured because anybody else did me like oh my god, not this shit again Yeah He kept saying like I mean the thing is like he should get bringing it up She's slightly more for the girls in the pause and Kira is going on and on about I Don't know what and you can see Joseph just biting his tongue.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was just staring at the ground and like I'm not gonna say anything I'm not gonna say anything [SPEAKER_00]: He's just closing his eyes and thinking of England. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you noticed this Brian, but AJ has apparently forgotten what Kira's name is. [SPEAKER_01]: All he kept saying was my wife.
[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't have to be my wife. [SPEAKER_01]: The thing that happened to my wife, the thing people don't know about my wife, like AJ, Kira, CIARA. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like listening to one of those podcasts where they talk about their spouse, but don't want to say their name on the pod. [SPEAKER_00]: We're just like, you know, people listen to my pod, know my wife's name.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not that big of a secret. [SPEAKER_00]: But I do know that somewhere it's like, yeah, when it's my husband or my partner, I don't think Kim's ever said her boyfriend's name on our pod. [SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, it's always her boyfriend. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like you're calling me out.
[SPEAKER_01]: I've never said my husband's name on me. [SPEAKER_00]: But I mean, I don't, I don't awfully you talk about your relationship on the pod either though. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not like it comes up all the time, but there'd be a reason to bring it up. [SPEAKER_01]: but yeah, that's all he kept saying.
[SPEAKER_01]: But the thing is like we watch the show, we know her is here. [SPEAKER_01]: I know the same thing, my wife like we never met her at all, or she's not sitting beside him. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was just hoping that she didn't suck crying because I'm like, I can't, I just want to see cannot deal with that today.
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, she's asked about, you know, when she pushed AJ when they had that fight. [SPEAKER_01]: And again, like you said, it could have been an email. [SPEAKER_01]: These are all things that we've seen before. [SPEAKER_01]: The whole self sabotage thing comes up again. [SPEAKER_01]: So, um, Emma asked like, oh, do you think that you were self sabotaging because you don't think that she just, you deserve good things.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then the tears come and you know I'll take it guys. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll take it. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not buying her tears. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: I just like feel like she knew what was coming with this and this was just like some kind of [SPEAKER_00]: deviation, you know, from, you know, I didn't doubt it at first, but then thinking about it, I'm like, well, she wasn't like an Ashley eye super easy cryer all season, which is like every time things get difficult, she starts to cry and this is like, you know, some of us sort of easy cryers.
[SPEAKER_00]: So this might have been a little bit of like a good out of jail free card and tell you to bring it up. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because, I mean, I'm not saying like, just because she has a tough exterior, whatever she couldn't be sensitive or anything like that, but I feel like she went through worse during the whole thing and she felt bad.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, even when she felt bad throughout the time, she didn't cry and maybe things came to head, but it's a year later. [SPEAKER_01]: it's a year later and she was saying all the things and I just I don't know why I don't have any facts so that's why I'm saying like I can understand if that scene is being mean but I it just didn't come across as genuine especially since they didn't write her as much as they should have which isn't that piss me off because at first I was like okay let's just wait till Fran and Joseph section and then we got there and there was not a and I'm like yeah okay so [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing about Kira.
[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I'm not saying people don't have defense mechanism and things like that, but nothing about Kira is telling me that she did not think that she deserved good things. [SPEAKER_01]: She was pushing AJ because she just wants to make sure that this is a man. [SPEAKER_01]: I think Kira is a kind of person.
[SPEAKER_01]: who believes that you need to train your partner, you need to train your husband or anything. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's what she's trying to make sure that he's good at taking instructions. [SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly what she was doing. [SPEAKER_01]: She recognized what she is.
[SPEAKER_01]: I do think she's very aware of the cameras. [SPEAKER_01]: I think she thinks very carefully before she says things, there's a reason why that argument was off camera. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he didn't exactly on camera. [SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's what it is. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm not saying again that she can possibly do that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just think like she's not someone who doesn't just think that she deserves. [SPEAKER_01]: I think she thinks that she deserves all the good things. [SPEAKER_01]: And the plus side of it is like, she's not gonna take shit from any man. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're somebody who doesn't think you deserve good things, you don't spend that much time Going through all of the chores your husband needs to do for you and the home renovations You feel you have to have done in your house like that nothing about her is humble So yeah, somebody does that you deserve love or good things You're usually like a very humble person.
[SPEAKER_00]: She is not a humble person and at least bit [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you would settle and you would take a lot of shit and otherwise with it. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think the thing that always that is a point for her with AJ is that AJ is a kind of person that she can walk into a room with and all her heads will turn.
[SPEAKER_01]: That has always been the thing for AJ that she loves. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, there's a chance that when we go in there, my husband will be the hottest person, you know? [SPEAKER_01]: And he's tall and handsome. [SPEAKER_01]: I get it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she loves that. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, she says like, you know, the whole experience was high pressure.
[SPEAKER_01]: She went through every motion and she felt like she took it out on the wrong person. [SPEAKER_01]: Now that I buy There's nothing I say this all the time. [SPEAKER_01]: You cannot whatever all these people go through a reality TV. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm never going to know what he feels like, but I can imagine [SPEAKER_01]: how much it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: No matter how strong you are of a person is just something you can't train for or prepare for so that I understand. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I think you shouldn't with that like you know the high pressure because Emma you know I've always said I don't like when hosts lead because that's what happened with paths and Courtney on mass.
[SPEAKER_01]: You say something and you're like you know what that's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Next not opening up. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm writing this to the end. [SPEAKER_01]: So Emma's just like you don't think you deserve good things and she's like [SPEAKER_01]: Let's go, she needs to say it, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, yes, she's at self-taught, but I would have liked for her to say what she meant, you know, by that herself. [SPEAKER_01]: They ask her if she wants to take a minute and this is, you know, what's supposed to find it for me and she was like, no, I'm fine, and she's like, do I look ugly?
[SPEAKER_01]: She's aware of the camera, guys. [SPEAKER_01]: Very, you know, like, so anyways, [SPEAKER_01]: Um, he says like they had a great year and it was awesome and it's been good in their first year and it's a testament entirely up to cure because of cure. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why they had a great year like it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I love it so. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, yeah, well, I mean, good job being a husband, man. [SPEAKER_00]: Take, don't take any, don't take any of your credit for yourself. [SPEAKER_00]: It's all my wife. [SPEAKER_01]: I do want to say though, for the fact that she likes to give instructions, which is why there's someone for everyone out there.
[SPEAKER_01]: They really are some people who want to be giving instructions. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, he doesn't, what some people may call nagging. [SPEAKER_01]: He's probably like, eh, just tell me what to do. [SPEAKER_01]: I kind of like that. [SPEAKER_01]: I like being boss around. [SPEAKER_01]: And I like, you know, all that kind of stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, she's helping you with some guys. [SPEAKER_00]: It's probably freeing to be like, I don't need to plan anything. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't need to think ahead. [SPEAKER_00]: And anything all I have to do is like, do what I'm told and like do a good job. [SPEAKER_00]: But that bad is not a hard life.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you're, if you're good at following instructions. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep, that was it. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, take a quick break. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, we're back with Cuba in Ryan. [SPEAKER_01]: Kind of felt like Cuba was a bill Julie. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, it's fair. [SPEAKER_01]: They have not had any contacts with each other.
[SPEAKER_01]: Cuba says that the way ended was not nice for her and she felt like it was weird. [SPEAKER_01]: She said they had a conversation where they said that if there was anything big, if there was anything like that to talk about like that, they would have it off-camera. [SPEAKER_01]: but this man came back and then he blindsided her and did that on camera and broke up with her on camera and she did everything, you know, for him but he never gave that back to her.
[SPEAKER_01]: She's like even for work, he came back, needed a whole day to recharge for a half hour speech. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad the audience caught it, everyone laughed. [SPEAKER_00]: Yep, yep. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that is listen, [SPEAKER_00]: That's not, you should not need a full day to recuperate from a half hour of a speech.
[SPEAKER_01]: When you do a professionally, you should be able to do that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, leave. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that should be like a warm-up for you. [SPEAKER_01]: She says that he kept telling her her, like she doesn't know what it's like to be a speaker. [SPEAKER_01]: She has no friends that are speakers.
[SPEAKER_01]: He puts so much energy into this people. [SPEAKER_01]: Basically just applying like it was kind of like talking down to her, like she can't understand because it's not in her world. [SPEAKER_01]: And she was like, he was gone for three days. [SPEAKER_01]: She did something that I kind of consider cardinal seats in, but they're not together anymore, so it's allowed.
[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, you were gone for three days. [SPEAKER_01]: Joseph, Joseph had a whole new job. [SPEAKER_01]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: Hey man, don't, don't get one, knock it off. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think the thing people forget is when they do this panel things, you're sitting there waiting your turn.
[SPEAKER_01]: I anticipate that there's anxiety and it's like, oh my god, but are you going to ask me what are you doing? [SPEAKER_01]: And then if you, they keep calling people and you find out like, oh my god, I'm not next. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not next. [SPEAKER_01]: You're just in your head. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's a long day.
[SPEAKER_01]: So she's like Joseph had a whole new job, and yet he's still validated friend and I'm like, But they're not together. [SPEAKER_01]: So say you think you're out. [SPEAKER_01]: Speak your truth. [SPEAKER_01]: She says it's not the job That it that was the reason for all of this. [SPEAKER_01]: He just never made her feel validated and she felt alone in that experiment And she's been cheated on and she's still felt more alone in this experience.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like thank you [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, no, this is this is unfortunate. [SPEAKER_00]: This is all big bummer. [SPEAKER_00]: This is why you don't just like pick somebody because you have a few quirks in common Like I don't know why other than the fact that they have some weird like beliefs that are between the two of them I don't know what it was that like drew them together in the first place single issue dating Ryan says then they say Ryan what do you have to say about this a lot of what she said weren't factually true [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, he says there were amazing parts and it was like, well, I find it hard to be vulnerable But it is true though that we did a grief camera that we weren't gonna say anything But we were filming so while parts were in fact really true if you're validating the biggest thing that she said And he was like, you know, we were filming and the decision was heavy So you basically have to offload the heavy decision that was on you and you offloaded it on her
[SPEAKER_01]: as if she's not a human being and he blinds her to her because she never thought anything had you would come because you made the rules and you both agreed to not doing that on camera. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I need you to understand as I did her real dirty and that's okay, right like that's basically how you came into it He says like he was stressed and he even talked to her about you know the sweats He was having and her family is like giving looks by the way because I think her sister and a friend It was out there and it kept going like [SPEAKER_01]: And Emma asked, like, okay, did you communicate all of this to her?
[SPEAKER_01]: And Kibro was like, I mean, he told me about the sweat when he was away, but then when he came back, he said, like, when he's next to her, she calms his heartbeat. [SPEAKER_01]: And Ryan was like, yeah, I took too much on. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know where he went, too. [SPEAKER_01]: Ryan is very tan by the way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's he is tanned all the way up. [SPEAKER_01]: just came back from a holiday. [SPEAKER_01]: So Matt asked him, what kind of message did you feel like he was sending to Cuba during your like recharge period? [SPEAKER_01]: Which I think he's talking about the awkward silence and being on his phone and her just waiting to be spoken to.
[SPEAKER_00]: Standing still. [SPEAKER_01]: He says, on reflection, traveling the amount I did was silly, and he wouldn't have done that, knowing what he was stepping into, which we kind of talked about. [SPEAKER_01]: We were like, you can control your schedule, tell them like you're going in there. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, you could clear it for 10 days on the pause.
[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden, you have to spend time. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the time you don't clear to clear your schedule, dumb, dumb. [SPEAKER_01]: he says like you know his grandma passing away gave him perspective and keep her reiterates that again I'm not taking away from your grief it's just that you knew from the beginning and you just wasn't man enough to tell me how you really felt and then she asked like why did you come on the show because you honestly were not ready for a relationship at all and then she says she hopes that one [SPEAKER_01]: and Lex himself beloved because she doesn't think that he allows that.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I just want to, you know, as an aside, Ryan, I just, it's funny when she said that. [SPEAKER_01]: He just clicked that Ryan feels or felt like he was in a different show. [SPEAKER_01]: I know he was away, but even the times that he was around, it felt like [SPEAKER_01]: They were filming love his blind and he wasn't like married a first I don't know It just felt like he was away.
[SPEAKER_01]: We never got to see like who is he close to? [SPEAKER_01]: Who does he talk to like the rest we can see like who their friends with and stuff but I feel like I didn't know he was just like an apparition showed up It's like one of those 90 day people were like never see you call home We never really we meet you in the airport.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's the first time we ever see you like out no who you are [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so yeah, and then Matt had to ask and it was like, I have to ask about the mango. [SPEAKER_01]: And he really didn't give any explanation. [SPEAKER_01]: He was like, I just wanted to offer it to her. [SPEAKER_01]: But I think the question is, you just broke someone's heart.
[SPEAKER_01]: Why were you really going for a mango at this point? [SPEAKER_01]: You couldn't quail your appetite for a mango at that point? [SPEAKER_00]: No, you needed a mango in that moment. [SPEAKER_01]: It has to be then and there and then the British politeness came up like, would you like some.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's my emotional support fruit. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I do have that. [SPEAKER_01]: My heart is breaking. [SPEAKER_01]: I would like a mango. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: Cutting the cubes. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the other thing. [SPEAKER_01]: You like fighting to it. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it took some time.
[SPEAKER_00]: Julie ended. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, Cuba says she's still open for love, but she's not looking like, you know, you could see her and find her out. [SPEAKER_01]: She does end by saying that he was amazing in the pods, and he has a beautiful heart, but the thing is, like, he's just not open to romantic love.
[SPEAKER_01]: Basically, in the tone was, I said what I said, you know. [SPEAKER_01]: I think you but did her thing here. [SPEAKER_01]: I think she got her point across and I also think that you know right could be a lesson in being and I use this very loosely the villain. [SPEAKER_01]: When you know you've done someone dirty you come in there you sit there.
[SPEAKER_01]: you take it on the chin, don't try to defend, do not be defensive. [SPEAKER_01]: You are not going to win there and let the person get their point across because emotions are heightened, yet there's been a year, you have time to sit, people are watching you publicly and all the things you wish you had said, some people are mad at themselves, like for not reacting enough or for even doing this.
[SPEAKER_01]: So just sit there, take it and let it right. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, either take it and let it ride or come out swinging wildly in all directions and just be like a monster, but you can't you can't be in the middle You know, you can't you got it you got to pick one lane if you're already not like the fan favorite.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah All right, Sophie and Taylor. [SPEAKER_01]: I do believe they were the first to get engaged, which is a gay the golden couple and when that happens It's truly not much to say Not a thing [SPEAKER_01]: Um, we get their first year of marriage video because that's what we're doing. [SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, then after we see the videos, so tell us, are you still together?
[SPEAKER_01]: We have to do this. [SPEAKER_01]: How many more times, guys? [SPEAKER_01]: They're still together. [SPEAKER_01]: And they sit closer and Emma brings up their sexual connection. [SPEAKER_01]: There's no material, guys. [SPEAKER_01]: So they just have to dig deep. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think because Taylor cracked that joke that he could go 10 times in one night day, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: She goes, yes, they still have the sexual connection, they ask where their base is, because as you recall, we saw the interviews, we don't know if he got it, we don't know if she moved to Manchester, but surprisingly, she is the one who moved to her for a child instead.
[SPEAKER_01]: He laid off. [SPEAKER_01]: Now my question of course is, what happened to your house? [SPEAKER_01]: Are you renting it? [SPEAKER_01]: Did you sell it? [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: What's going on? [SPEAKER_00]: Who knows? [SPEAKER_01]: Um, they go over to Sophie's dad. [SPEAKER_01]: If you guys remember at the wedding was all, I don't like this.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like reality TV. [SPEAKER_01]: This is terrible. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't know each other. [SPEAKER_01]: He has nothing but nice things to say about Sophie. [SPEAKER_01]: And he called her a trickle. [SPEAKER_01]: And of course she didn't know what that was. [SPEAKER_01]: She was like, I hope it's a compliment.
[SPEAKER_01]: And for anyone who doesn't know. [SPEAKER_01]: A trickle is a kind of syrup that's used by the Brits for their dessert and stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, he said he also told his son that he's punching up again for those who don't know punching up means you're dating someone harder than you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: You've out kicked your cover ridge in American terms. [SPEAKER_01]: She was, uh, they asked her about her does reaction at the wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: She said she was upset about his reaction, but she understands like that's, you know, his daughter, emotions are heightened and, but everything's good now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Her dad could not make [SPEAKER_01]: I hope I said his dad was a one who says nice things about Sophie not her dad, but his dad you might have As always Brian just let me sing And Hi dad sending a video and he starts the video by saying hi guys. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not there. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm on holiday.
[SPEAKER_01]: Some people laugh because it's like yeah, of course Just a vacation why are you coming over to love his blind? [SPEAKER_01]: He told you guys I hate reality dv [SPEAKER_01]: So he says Taylor from me to you. [SPEAKER_01]: You have put the biggest smile on my daughter's face. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, can't wait to, I think I have a beer or something, but I was like, it's been a year. [SPEAKER_01]: I hope you've had a couple at this point. [SPEAKER_01]: And also. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, oh, she moved. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's the one who doesn't get to see her as much. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, they ask about the tattoos on his bum.
[SPEAKER_01]: He still has them. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just three names. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, that's three too many to have on there. [SPEAKER_01]: And so he's like, I'm never getting his tattoo and he's never getting my name on him. [SPEAKER_00]: The only part that had me laugh was her pronunciation of tattoo, which I know, Brits, they drop some consonants often, but hearing her pronounce as tattoo was a lot for me.
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't have any tattoos. [SPEAKER_00]: Look, oh my god, that's crazy selfie. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, they ask us in the future for them because, you know, that's the question they ask, you know, where they're really asking about children, but you can ask that anymore, but they say we want to know like they just want to enjoy each other and see what the future holds.
[SPEAKER_01]: um we move on to the alumni as mentioned at the top of the episodes they are using the mileage off of Jasmine and Bobby and Megan and Kieran Jasmine and Bobby just had a baby baby Marley and they talk about how it was crazy on their first date they talked about having children and now they have a child together and I think someone said pick the person that you're having children with wisely and they called out was it friend that looked at just somebody looked at [SPEAKER_01]: and they talked about that and, you know, Jasmine is just saying that she's more in love with him as a dad and just watching him, you know, with a carrier and his heart, sexy, all that kind of stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Megan and Kieran, they renew their vows, they asked what they thought about season three, they said they thought it was iconic and they smashed it and their advice is like their priority is their relationship. [SPEAKER_01]: I would say that was a lot of singles, the audience. [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of singles.
[SPEAKER_01]: I knew it was on there. [SPEAKER_01]: The other lady was on there with the person she didn't pick. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you remember their names? [SPEAKER_01]: Freddie, the one who went into the photo booth was there. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, there was a lot of singles on there. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, why have 14 couples who got engaged from this season?
[SPEAKER_00]: Not here are all our failures. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, moving on to Fran and Joseph, Emma makes a wow wow joke, which was funny to me and we get their one year video there's still together and he says he's the only one who's like everyone's been like he's been great isn't that he's like it's been a roller coaster.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fran has lost the highlights her hair is all dark now, um there. [SPEAKER_01]: He says that, you know, she said that he has exceeded expectations, that he's so attentive. [SPEAKER_01]: He does things like checks the weather, before she goes to work to put an umbrella, all the ladies are like, oh my God.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he has the emotional intelligence, every girl dreams of, and she locked out. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, they asked him why he felt safe with her and I got to say they keep talking about this fact that Joseph had his walls up and he has his guard up as someone who has his guard up that was not my take away from Joseph no not at all.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, to where some of the has their guard up. [SPEAKER_00]: You're very expressive. [SPEAKER_00]: So like I don't get that from him. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I know the argument could be said that Fran really did bring the walls, but I kind of feel he was the same when we shoved each so much more that he thought shoved each didn't have the walls You know, yeah, but I just feel like it's been mentioned many times by him like, oh, I have my guard up.
[SPEAKER_01]: I have my guard up, and I'm like, what do you think having your guard up is? [SPEAKER_00]: Cuz, well, I didn't think I pants off on the first date. [SPEAKER_00]: That's pretty guarded. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what am I? [SPEAKER_00]: Where is this guard talking about? [SPEAKER_00]: I just don't see it.
[SPEAKER_00]: And like I can understand that he probably feels it internally. [SPEAKER_00]: If that's the case, he doesn't show it externally at all. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, and the host mentioned that, but again, I'm glad you're agreed because I was like, is it just me? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I noticed it.
[SPEAKER_01]: But he said he communicated many of his insecurities to her and it was like just not a thing for her. [SPEAKER_01]: She just batted it away and he just knew that this is someone he could be safe with. [SPEAKER_01]: Emma says, like, he just seemed easy, but knowing the show and the multiple connections as the camera pans to Chevronique.
[SPEAKER_01]: And at this time, Fran and Joseph are holding hands. [SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, Chevronique says that the last year has been good. [SPEAKER_01]: And what happened with her and Joseph is that she struggled with vulnerability. [SPEAKER_01]: And when you think that this person is for you, you just kind of fight, you know, for it.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Matt asked Joseph what's swayed him when he seemed to have chosen. [SPEAKER_01]: Fran. [SPEAKER_01]: So why did he seem swayed by Shamanik? [SPEAKER_01]: Joseph is very careful with his words. [SPEAKER_01]: Like he's just when I [SPEAKER_01]: Then I, and I didn't want to, and I'm like, okay, but what he says was like, he's any came into the date fully expecting to choose Francesca and he was not expecting chef to push back or give him something to think about.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he was just wondering if it was too late, but what he was trying to do is just to make sure that he was very sure of his decision. [SPEAKER_01]: You're making this huge decision and it's more like the human inclination to be like, am I making a good call? [SPEAKER_01]: Like is there something I'm not like figuring out or anything?
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, ah, okay, I didn't get player vibes. [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think he was like trying to play because I know we were saying like at the time that we were rooting for Chevrolet League. [SPEAKER_01]: But honestly, it seemed pretty clear like he wanted Frank, but it just, you know, just trying to make sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: that that was. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't think he's trying to play anybody. [SPEAKER_00]: We've seen that before on the show. [SPEAKER_00]: He did not behave that way. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, he said that on his end also honestly, he just didn't want to hurt Shemani. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, yes, I understand his intention, but it's more damage done.
[SPEAKER_01]: He should just have, like, with his chest, just set it broken up, someone's going to get hurt either way. [SPEAKER_01]: The minute you're in triangle, someone is going to get hurt. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, yeah, just say, you know, I was I was cowardly like I didn't I didn't want to hurt her feelings and so like, you know, I didn't say what I should have said I was I didn't want to have a confrontation, which yeah, I think a lot of people can understand that a lot better, you know, just like I was I was afraid to do is uncomfortable conversation at one a half.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they talk about fees birthday party and chefs said like her intention wasn't to start drama. [SPEAKER_01]: that she just wanted to clear the air, that, you know, when they broke up, they left Amica Blee, and so when he asked for a chat, like she just thought it was to chat. [SPEAKER_01]: Then she says this thing that I feel like Shaveneek does that it's kind of passive-aggressive, that she understands why friend, felt embarrassed, and upset, that she was speaking to Joseph, and I know her backup was going to be, like that's what you said in the bathroom, that you were embarrassed.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you were, she knows exactly what she was doing [SPEAKER_00]: man and trap. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm glad friend was like, it's not anything like I like to be embarrassed or if say it wasn't that. [SPEAKER_01]: That it was just that some of the things she was saying was just quite frankly mean.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like things like, oh, I don't want to say because I don't know what he's told you. [SPEAKER_01]: You're insinuating that he's lying to me. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why Shamanik is saying like her intention wasn't to start drama. [SPEAKER_01]: What do you think if you tell an engaged couple that, oh, I don't want to [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, you can't, you weren't, you were planting a seed and you were hoping you could plant the seed and not have to like water it and watch it grow, but that this would be a seed that gets planted in front of it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So now she's thinking, God, what, how bad is it? [SPEAKER_00]: They don't want to tell me it must be something really, really awful and let her kind of run wild with it. [SPEAKER_00]: That's. [SPEAKER_00]: It's sloppy. [SPEAKER_00]: It's messy work. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's one of the best.
[SPEAKER_00]: What is messy? [SPEAKER_01]: It's one of two things. [SPEAKER_01]: Is either you're planting dolls and then that she's going crazy, spirally trying to figure out what you're saying, or you want her to beg you to say it. [SPEAKER_01]: And I like big, like just to go ahead and say it, and you're like, I don't know, if I want to, then she's like just say it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, either way, this friction in that way. [SPEAKER_01]: Friends says like, listen, we weren't friends in the pod. [SPEAKER_01]: You made it clear with certain comments that when you said that, you didn't think our connection was genuine. [SPEAKER_01]: And it just seemed malicious.
[SPEAKER_01]: Chef says that was in the case, but she has her own opinions. [SPEAKER_01]: And you know, you're saying I should come to you, but like you just said it, like I wasn't gonna come to you because we were in close. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, ugh, you guys had a conversation about dating the same person.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is all, as far as I'm concerned. [SPEAKER_01]: And she was like, I wasn't hiding it from you that we were dating. [SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't like, Chef is very big on semantics. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and fighting the loopholes, you know, all of that, but friend doesn't back. [SPEAKER_01]: She doesn't back down.
[SPEAKER_01]: She's just like, girl, it's a year later. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, this is embarrassing for you. [SPEAKER_01]: She's because it's never seen that, but she thought it. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, she says like she struggled to open up like what did she learn from the show. [SPEAKER_01]: She struggled to open up, but now she's open to finding love and meeting her person and ultimately, he turned out how it should like, you know, they're great.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're so cute. [SPEAKER_01]: They look nice together. [SPEAKER_01]: All that you could tell in front of Joseph's face, like we are never going to speak to you again. [SPEAKER_01]: ever you know on there this is done like excuse me why we're not bringing care up because one of the questions I had during this season is like AJ why how were you blissfully unaware of how messy your wife is and how she was getting in there right no idea apparently we're like I don't know I mean [SPEAKER_00]: She didn't wait to display a lot of that in the pods to him.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I get how he didn't know in the beginning. [SPEAKER_00]: Eventually, you have to go, you seem to be the centerpiece of every dispute. [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone's having here. [SPEAKER_01]: But now the guys have read it up. [SPEAKER_01]: Not in the guys have read it up with him. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I always thought, like, you should be a guy chat when they had that conversation after a friend told Joseph, either that or they didn't edit it out.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I just not bringing this up because, [SPEAKER_01]: how it happened or a simple question they could have asked was, you told Cuba. [SPEAKER_01]: who told her, you didn't even tell it directly if you're so concerned about how she feels. [SPEAKER_01]: And then the other question I wanted to know was like, yes, me, you met up with her.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is your girl, Michelle. [SPEAKER_01]: You did not tell Beyonce that, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: She's just information laundering. [SPEAKER_00]: She's following it through other people, which is classic reality TV villain behavior. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And it is didn't call her on it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they didn't do anything. [SPEAKER_01]: So at this point, did you think it was a little bit messy when you brought this up anyways? [SPEAKER_01]: They talked about the family blessing that Joseph had to have. [SPEAKER_01]: We did not ask why it shifted from dad's blessing to mom's blessing.
[SPEAKER_01]: But her mom says they're very happy they gave their blessing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's been very lovely getting to know him and he's very, very handy. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think she meant like he's tall so he can just reach at the height shelves. [SPEAKER_00]: He can get to the top now. [SPEAKER_01]: Emma was like, oh, I thought you were going to say he was really, really, or very, very handsome.
[SPEAKER_01]: And she was like, oh, he's handsome too. [SPEAKER_01]: So there's that. [SPEAKER_01]: Come on says like they're looking forward to creating a life together. [SPEAKER_01]: They're looking forward to remaring in the Catholic faith and the traditional Nigerian wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, yeah, I say this all the time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone should experience a Nigerian wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: And if you're like deep deep deep deep deep deep in their archives, you can go back if you're in patron and you join recently. [SPEAKER_01]: 8 and I did a whole episode on Nigerian weddings, and we talked about how we were in the same building for Nigerian wedding, but it was so large that we never met.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, officially it wasn't the first time that we did. [SPEAKER_01]: There was at least a thousand people in that wedding, and we just never met, but we just talked about how Nigerian weddings are so glorious. [SPEAKER_01]: And you should attend one, if you ever have a chance, invite yourself for a finagle and an invitation.
[SPEAKER_01]: and come back and tell me about it. [SPEAKER_01]: But yes, just do a search for Nigerian weddings. [SPEAKER_01]: It was like in our early days, but way back in the day. [SPEAKER_01]: And, uh, [SPEAKER_00]: I am excited for that for their fun, like when ethnic weddings in general are fun, Indian weddings are a lot of fun, called on.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what, I would say this. [SPEAKER_01]: The only people I think rival us are Indian weddings. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the one I'll give it to, but I do it more. [SPEAKER_01]: For us, no, I don't want you to put it in the same category. [SPEAKER_01]: And of course, I'm joking and being biased, but go ahead, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: If you've never been to a Samoan wedding, because [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no fun fun fun. [SPEAKER_00]: I've been to lots of different kinds of ethnic weddings. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: This is this guy's sound judgment. [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of the European ethnic weddings are not as much fun as the other ones.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're just not you have cool traditions and stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: But not not as boisterous. [SPEAKER_01]: Why does it feel wrong every time you're saying ethnic weddings? [SPEAKER_01]: It just sounds. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: It's it's a point. [SPEAKER_00]: Meet your ethnic traditions with cultural weddings that better.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, yeah, sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I've been to a fair share of different kinds and the louder the better is usually kind of the rule here. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no rules. [SPEAKER_01]: But guys, I'm just kidding, like, you know, I'm not kidding about, you know, as you remember, weddings being the best.
[SPEAKER_01]: I stand by it, but I just, it's just fun. [SPEAKER_01]: Like Brian said, you know. [SPEAKER_01]: Matt and Emma joke about how they never get to go to the weddings. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand how Kira and [SPEAKER_01]: Don't forget his name, the Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan and you're here.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how they did a renewal and they did not did just forgot to invite Emma and to the wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like it's on purpose. [SPEAKER_01]: And then, you know, she makes a joke and she's like, what guys we never get to go to the weddings? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like talk to your producers.
[SPEAKER_01]: They do in Brazil. [SPEAKER_01]: The host goes to every single wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: But I also think it's an excuse for them to get new outfits. [SPEAKER_01]: Like they look like Cannonbarpe, like we said before. [SPEAKER_01]: So, and she is absolutely the best woman host of all the franchises over there.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, they do. [SPEAKER_01]: I was gonna ask you, I feel that Joseph seemed kind of reserved this reunion. [SPEAKER_01]: At first I thought it was like, okay, is it our turn yet? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm kind of nervous. [SPEAKER_01]: But I actually feel like even after he just seemed kind of reserved for someone that was so boisterous in the pause and during the show, like, I don't know if you got that vibe as well.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I didn't pick up on it, but not that you mentioned it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm wondering if it's just because like, [SPEAKER_00]: when they were filming that part of the show, his adrenaline was just like higher and he was just kind of amped up from being on camera and the kind of the pressure of the moment and all of that kind of amped him up, I don't really know, but I didn't notice it in the moment, but I pick up on not to bring it up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's about it on their segment. [SPEAKER_01]: The only thing I wanna know is like, they were both living with their parents, where did it live now? [SPEAKER_00]: We all live out. [SPEAKER_01]: It would be nice to know. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh, it was part of the whole season. [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about that three again.
[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, Jordan and Yasmin, they only met up once after the experiment, and then decided that they were just friends, and he says that she's like his best friend. [SPEAKER_01]: They talk almost every day, and it's weird to be best friends to your experience, say, but he has learned a lot about himself.
[SPEAKER_01]: He thinks her, and he also said, like, it was the first time his family was in a room together in years. [SPEAKER_01]: And that would have been good to know on the show because if you remember Brian, we were asking if his parents are together and we still don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no idea.
[SPEAKER_00]: They don't want us to know. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't want us to know, and I still don't know what the family dynamics, and I'm like, when you say we haven't been in room together in years, this is like mom, sister, me, and dad wasn't or mom, and me, and the sister has like, well, mom and dad haven't seen me do you say?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what are you saying? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, that is a big thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: One could argue though, like, [SPEAKER_01]: They weren't all in the room together because of her. [SPEAKER_01]: It was because of him, because they wanted to support him for being on this show.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think there's a young or anything, even though I just didn't know. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, they got together. [SPEAKER_01]: Good thing they got together. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we'll take the win. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So she says that she's learned about herself too, that she can do hard things.
[SPEAKER_01]: And she knows more of what she wants from a relationship. [SPEAKER_01]: And she knows that in her next relationship, she's not going to tolerate, uh, well, she's not going to tolerate certain things and being in a situation where she questions how her partner feels about her. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, which is true.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you have all these questions, you're not sure where you stand with someone. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a problem. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: You're probably. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: they asked Jordan when he knew like it wasn't for it and he's like that wasn't me I was just starting around the location like I knew the romantic fire wasn't there and he was just going crazy because on paper everything was ticks like it was everything he wanted and he just didn't know what was missing [SPEAKER_01]: Um, yes, as that, you know, there were both so open and wanted to give it like a good go because I think someone asked why didn't they quit, but she just had a feeling that he wasn't on, you know, all in it.
[SPEAKER_01]: They talk about her vidalago and, you know, she says like she gives a lot of props to Jordan and the way that he responded when she told him and she remember something that he said, which was never let anyone make you feel that you are not 100% deserving of love. [SPEAKER_01]: And everyone's like, oh, that's so nice.
[SPEAKER_00]: One of the things to say this, I'm body. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: People have been supportive of her on social media. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's just so crazy to her that this insecurity that she had, that was so bad where she didn't even want to leave the house. [SPEAKER_01]: She couldn't even, you know, open the door for the postman, as they call this and now has become this thing that she's known for.
[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, no one's judging her for it and all of that. [SPEAKER_01]: So I am so happy for her for that, you know. [SPEAKER_01]: Because it's so easy to install people, you know, love yourself, believe in yourself and all that, but when you don't have it, it's just to deal with that and, you know, she feels different.
[SPEAKER_01]: Her sister's emotional. [SPEAKER_01]: She has her sister in two of us as far as I believe in the audience. [SPEAKER_01]: And her sister's emotional at this point. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: Our last couple is Fay and Jack. [SPEAKER_01]: We get their videos. [SPEAKER_00]: So we know, we're still together.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're you surprised that they're still together. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, a little bit, looking back, I probably shouldn't have been because I think to me there was never much of a doubt of like, could they work together? [SPEAKER_00]: It was just more like, is he going to not fuck this up? [SPEAKER_00]: Cause she wasn't gonna fuck it up.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that once they're in it, he's like, yeah, I might as well not fuck it up, I guess. [SPEAKER_00]: Just look like things worked out fine for them. [SPEAKER_01]: All of the things of Jack, I did feel like he had good intentions. [SPEAKER_01]: Like sometimes, you know, the road to hell is paid for good intentions, too.
[SPEAKER_01]: I, they were the one couple where I wasn't sure, like every other person, I'm like, yes, yes, for sure. [SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't like 100% sure, but the only reason that was 100% sure was like, I tried. [SPEAKER_01]: I tried so hard, but this was the one couple that was squiled for me. [SPEAKER_00]: Can't imagine.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like all the couples, all of them. [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't so vehentailer, it was. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: It couldn't be just one. [SPEAKER_01]: That was pulled for me. [SPEAKER_01]: So they asked where they were and they were like they're both now based in Gernsey, which is where his mom is.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they went traveling for all of the last year. [SPEAKER_01]: And they went to different places. [SPEAKER_01]: No, they didn't go to different places. [SPEAKER_01]: They were in Greece. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to say. [SPEAKER_00]: Get them. [SPEAKER_00]: They were on Greece. [SPEAKER_00]: They were in the Mediterranean for sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Mediterranean. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, they decided that they were just going to jump up to deep and go to the other side of the world. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, is it the other side of the street, man? [SPEAKER_01]: Nope. [SPEAKER_01]: Same continent. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not that far actually.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: We've no friends or family and just work it out. [SPEAKER_01]: We just them and honestly, I cannot say that I am mad about that. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, that's a good test for a couple. [SPEAKER_00]: Like that's if you guys can make it [SPEAKER_01]: Without the outside noise, too, because it's gonna be about outside noise.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, why did you do this show and then give yourself a fighting chance? [SPEAKER_01]: But I have the same question, Brian. [SPEAKER_01]: How are they surviving? [SPEAKER_00]: How in the hell are we doing this? [SPEAKER_00]: I can't just up and go somewhere for a week without planning it out for us.
[SPEAKER_00]: What do we live somewhere else for half a year? [SPEAKER_01]: So, he said that he had, she said, he has added a bundle of fun to her life and he's kind and he's reassuring and she doesn't ask to feel love. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't remind her of faith has not been in relationship for 10 years and been treated like crap in her exes.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's the only one who got to look back on his dating and the pods and you can tell like I guess they felt this was the best because they saved this for last and they do all we got people on him like saying the same things to girls and just being like just hyper and all around and as you guys me recall he shared about his ADHD diagnosis which they asked him about later.
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, they asked him, like, after watching this, can you see how Tira maybe thought like you were disingenuous? [SPEAKER_01]: And he was like, I can see, but on the sea, I was having fun at that time. [SPEAKER_01]: He, they bring up his ADHD and he says, like, he has had like a personal development and growth, like even when he watches that look back, he feels like he's watching a kid.
[SPEAKER_01]: And, [SPEAKER_01]: He's grown so much like he feels like he's a young kid, which he said at the bachelor party or the stack party, but that he says when he sees faith, he just changes that he's been trying so hard to work on it this last year because he's only goal is to just make phase like easier.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's very sweet. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just it's another version of you make me want to be a better man. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm not a woman. [SPEAKER_00]: I would imagine anyone wants to hear that from their man that like you inspire me to try to to better myself and like be the best I can be for you is I'm that's wonderful to hear.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And then phase just like listen, his brain works differently. [SPEAKER_01]: Like now I know what I've learned that sometimes he needs space, sometimes he wants closeness and it's just like the more you know about him the easier it is and I'm just like, oh my god, it's such a beautiful thing when you meet your person because more than anything and I know it's under the under the umbrella of being loved is being known and being seen, you know, by the person that you're with, like you can just [SPEAKER_01]: you know, it's corny, but honestly, exhale.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's a big deal. [SPEAKER_00]: Especially if you've been in like shitty relationships for like a long time, just to have one where it's like, oh, like, it can be this way for real all the time. [SPEAKER_00]: That's that's that your shoulders relax, you know? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you don't even realize you were holding your breath.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So he gets emotional when she says that and he's like, do you know how lucky it is to have someone who cares that much about you because [SPEAKER_01]: People talk about hidden illnesses, right? [SPEAKER_01]: with Yasmin is vitilago, so it's obvious, you know, the things that she's struggling with.
[SPEAKER_01]: But with him, this is ADHD, and I'm sure like growing up, especially when you don't know what is this, are you just hyper, are you just stubborn, are you just how we manifest in different ways, and he's just felt different. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's just felt like I'm too much, oh, I'm too this.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you find someone who very simply and calmly is like, he's pretty much different, like he just needs to adjust to it, and I still think you're like the best thing ever. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not tolerating you, I'm not [SPEAKER_01]: Why wouldn't you want to make their life easier or like, you know?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, and, you know, speaking as somebody that does have ADHD, a big part of it for me, was like, you don't, there are so many things about how your brain works that you don't know are related to your diagnosis. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just, it's the way that you always have been.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just the way that you, you know, to think and whether your brain works. [SPEAKER_00]: And what did it for me was, [SPEAKER_00]: finding a lot of like ADHD, social media, you know, content creators and stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, oh, shit, we all do this. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is a regular thing that I didn't, I don't have any friends growing up that were diagnosed or anything.
[SPEAKER_00]: So for me, it just like, oh, I thought that this was just how I worked. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't realize [SPEAKER_00]: most people that are also diagnosed have worked the exact same way, you know. [SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, having somebody that can see you that way and just be like, no, it's not something wrong with you, it's not, you know, a crisis or anything that's just, you're just different and this is how you are is very refreshing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: they bring up phase birthday and he says a lot of people came they ask him like you know what happened. [SPEAKER_01]: He says a lot of people came over like they came over for the birthday. [SPEAKER_01]: They were meeting the parents the next day and then he met them the day before and it was a surprise if you remember so he was very unprepared right and he just felt like he was in a glass box and he needed time to clear his mind to show up for faith and to show up for her parents.
[SPEAKER_01]: And when he switched his phone back on, he just realized that he had done the opposite. [SPEAKER_01]: I think this is where it was like, you know, especially with Facing like his brain works differently. [SPEAKER_01]: They talk a lot about him meeting time and that he does like these long walks.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's kind of clear his head that I'm just like, I know he sounds strange to all of us, but maybe he really was [SPEAKER_01]: The pressure cooker really needed to clear his brain. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, I will say I get oversimulated very easily. [SPEAKER_00]: And like, you know, it affects my personality, it affects my mood.
[SPEAKER_00]: And like, it's not something I can just kind of shake. [SPEAKER_00]: I need to do something to like decompress. [SPEAKER_00]: And so, you know, I obviously there's different ways that it presents and manifests for me. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like my brain never stops. [SPEAKER_00]: You've seen how I go on tangents here all the damn time.
[SPEAKER_00]: like my brain, I make connections all the time and it just kind of everything is always moving. [SPEAKER_00]: And so for I can understand how for him going on these walks where it's just like all that stuff can go on and you're not needing to process it or deal with that you can just kind of let your brain do what it wants to do naturally.
[SPEAKER_00]: Probably does help him to like recent or himself. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I get that when I do my job and I'm making artwork, I can sit there for four hours and just work on something while my brain goes on overdrive essentially and I get I get rid of it that way. [SPEAKER_00]: So I can see that I can also see how that is not the best for your partner sometimes that you're just going and not in touch for our work.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like it's a problem. [SPEAKER_01]: I think the problem is like, I also at the time, they don't know each other. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, they don't want to date, they didn't get to date. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's just getting to know it's like thing, faith feels more comfortable now, which is like, I'm just understanding his brain.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, she trusts that he's not doing anything. [SPEAKER_01]: And I, I am kind of glad that she gave him a chance. [SPEAKER_01]: Because honestly, she had grounds from Kira to the find my friends gate to all of that to just leave. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I would have been so I'm glad that.
[SPEAKER_01]: How do you do that? [SPEAKER_01]: You know, they should gave him a chance. [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't tell her. [SPEAKER_01]: because that he was doing all this for her benefit because he didn't want to put all that pressure on her so he says, Matt, just kind of slips it in though in the most brick way, but like, you know, turning off your find my friends is a bit weird, though.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's kind of extreme. [SPEAKER_01]: But again, he just needs shut everybody out. [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know, maybe I am stupid when I don't know, but that's what happened. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't, you know, they made it this long. [SPEAKER_00]: It seems like everything's going great.
[SPEAKER_00]: So like, yeah, it's, I would have bailed and that probably would have been the wrong call. [SPEAKER_01]: He just say that he gets it. [SPEAKER_01]: He understands like that's weird. [SPEAKER_01]: But on see, they had just added each other. [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't like they've been each other.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just added each other. [SPEAKER_01]: And he was actually bummed to have her on it. [SPEAKER_01]: And he felt like he was just being helpful. [SPEAKER_01]: But again, it turned out it wasn't. [SPEAKER_01]: So at this point, because I was just saying, just admit that you took her off to find my friends.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like what is the point of life? [SPEAKER_01]: But I was like, is this him admitting it? [SPEAKER_01]: Because this is a roundabout way of saying this? [SPEAKER_00]: It's a thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So he says he regrets how he handled it and like he was like I honestly didn't like how I spoke to her because yes, that was a gaslighty conversation because I'm just saying how to do it here like you let walk the way [SPEAKER_01]: Um, they talk about how he gets along with her dad and her mom is just like, uh, it's all right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, honestly, him and Jack are like, two kids, uh, like, they're just to get in. [SPEAKER_01]: He makes him feel like a kid again. [SPEAKER_01]: And then we find out that his mom does their laundry and cooks for them. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Why? [SPEAKER_00]: Why is that happening?
[SPEAKER_01]: I... No comment. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, she keeps saying that. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, if you don't do it, then we force to do it, but her mom gives me... Is it his mom or her mom? [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's her mom. [SPEAKER_00]: Is her mom? [SPEAKER_00]: His mom? [SPEAKER_00]: Uh-oh.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know who I am, they all match, and they're all blocked, and they sat in the same table. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, whoever's doing their laundry and cooking for them is giving the kind of person who likes to feel needed. [SPEAKER_01]: Like they're complaining like, oh, I'm doing all this, but if you take it away from them, then like, oh my god, they don't need me anymore.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it works for everybody in this game. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, everyone's happy. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, they are hoping to move to London and they're hoping to have kids. [SPEAKER_01]: It was his mom. [SPEAKER_01]: His mom was one of your nail laundry. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're hoping to have kids and her mom is like, yes, kids.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, like, let them settle and have that. [SPEAKER_01]: Some of her messylers say is very happy or Jack is like, this is too much for me.
