[SPEAKER_01]: Hi everybody, welcome to another episode of Taint Talk. [SPEAKER_01]: I am your host, Tain here to talk about married at first sight season 20 episode three. [SPEAKER_01]: Here with me coming over from episode two is aid, high aid, ready to talk about this again. [SPEAKER_01]: Ready, ready, okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, we are picking up with Nicky and Sean. [SPEAKER_01]: They're both breathing deeply. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to say for different reasons. [SPEAKER_01]: The way they edited and show it around, it feels like everyone looks sad. [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone's just like, uh, but Sean is just like, wow, this is the best day of my life.

[SPEAKER_01]: Nicky's like, what have I done? [SPEAKER_00]: The music, the mute, this is what I wrote. [SPEAKER_00]: I wrote, doomful joyful joyful. [SPEAKER_00]: Like if joyful joyful was for a funeral, this is a version that they played. [SPEAKER_01]: It was despondent, but the thing is when he walked in, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: I think his family was like, oh, he's her family. [SPEAKER_01]: We're like, oh, he's handsome. [SPEAKER_01]: And again, honestly, I don't think Sean is not handsome. [SPEAKER_01]: My only, again, grievance is just that she went at a tall man and he's five six. [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's not five, eight, five, ten.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's five six. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's the thing. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's the first thing you see, you know, you notice when you see him. [SPEAKER_00]: So no, okay, I don't want to like get on her. [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's allowed to have their preferences. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and this was got a funny.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was at a friend who was tall and she used to get so annoyed at girls We're short who dated tall men. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I guess if you're like Sean is taller than Nikki. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm right I was trying to look at that She looks to me to be about five four [SPEAKER_01]: OK, I mean, if she's wearing heels, they're about the same height, so maybe.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I was just like, I mean, if you, it's the point of a tall man that he's just taller than you. [SPEAKER_00]: What is it that he fits the bill? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, sometimes the heart just wants what he wants, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: I know, I know, I shouldn't. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just a thought that I had.

[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I know, I know. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I'm not sure his speech was kind of convincing or kind of nice, like I think like even if she was on edge like, oh, this isn't necessarily what I want. [SPEAKER_01]: He did give like a nice speech that she was like, okay, you know what? [SPEAKER_01]: I could give this a shot.

[SPEAKER_01]: So when it's time to kiss, he does ask for a kiss and they do kiss. [SPEAKER_01]: Before they do that, [SPEAKER_01]: his mom brings the broom for them to jump over. [SPEAKER_01]: And aid, could you do the honor of sharing what the symbol, what it means, the meaning of when African-Americans jump over?

[SPEAKER_01]: A broom. [SPEAKER_00]: So this goes back to the times when African-Americans weren't considered people, so people who couldn't enter into legal contracts such as marriage. [SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm not, I'm no expert on this, whatsoever, but basically the idea was when [SPEAKER_00]: enslaved people wanted to get married the way they would signify their marriage was to jump the broom.

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and so it's, it's a very historical tradition. [SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, I'd like, oh, y'all again, be by favor couple, just because you're the one who jumps the broom. [SPEAKER_00]: I think the first, you know, the, the first season that we did was New Orleans. [SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_00]: How do you jump the broom? [SPEAKER_00]: And we loved that. [SPEAKER_00]: And we're good for the day. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that was why I handed it over to you, because I remember you explained it then and I was like, [SPEAKER_01]: Um, he asks for her hand, uh, he asks for her to have hand space.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is for their champagne chat. [SPEAKER_01]: And this is where the things were shun set coming up. [SPEAKER_01]: Because at this point, I'm just like, oh, my god, like, you know, I hope she's able to get over this. [SPEAKER_01]: They seem to be like a good fit and they'll be fine. [SPEAKER_01]: But they're not walking and he's like, oh, do you need some space?

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like, you know, hand space? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, let your hand breathe and all that. [SPEAKER_01]: And she actually says, yes, I'm like, oh, God, they can't even hold hands. [SPEAKER_01]: was so awful. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh no! [SPEAKER_01]: She didn't say like he seems like an awesome person.

[SPEAKER_01]: Her first impression is that he has kind eyes and a nice smile. [SPEAKER_01]: Guys when someone is not attracted to someone they always always start with kind eyes. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm wondering what was like what the hell? [SPEAKER_01]: to someone, or have the funny flutters, you are definitely not saying kind eyes.

[SPEAKER_01]: You remember how Bell Jolie described Mecca when it was like, he disowned to me when there was, ah, noises, no words, kind eyes, no. [SPEAKER_01]: So I fell bad for the guy, so she tells him that she appreciated his gift and then she [SPEAKER_01]: You know, they could bond on that because I think who started physics or something, what are them?

[SPEAKER_01]: So her friends, she's talking to her friends because, again, they all talk to other people versus their actual partners and this is at the reception. [SPEAKER_01]: Her friends tell her that, oh, you guys look cute together and Nicky says, really? [SPEAKER_00]: It's so bad, it's so bad, it's so bad, it makes it artfully sad, but I'm [SPEAKER_00]: Just because I did feel like I didn't feel like everything she said she had to say.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think she could have a little bit of lipstick on this pig at least for the wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: She's dead. [SPEAKER_01]: Why can't we please? [SPEAKER_01]: She's still in shock. [SPEAKER_01]: The thing that pains me is that this could have prevented and not just for Nikki also for Shawn, because he is the recipient of whatever it is that she's feeling that she's not even sure of what she's feeling.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and that's the thing that we always talk about is like whatever is happening, someone else is getting the brunt of it, you know, and it's always the person that's actually into the person, you know, they do say like, you know, this is a compatibility she goes, okay, yeah, I like I feel some compatibility, but it's not ringing true.

[SPEAKER_01]: You can tell like she's just faking it. [SPEAKER_01]: And then the friend says, okay, now that is just us like, how do you really feel and she's like, what I do know I feel is that this wine is really good. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, oh my god. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, come one hand, you know, I'm going to give her credit for not saying how she really feels.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it would be good at all, but it's also like the more you talk about it, the more you like lean into it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And I just always think like, [SPEAKER_01]: If possible, regardless of how you feel, I do think the goal or motto should always be leaning to the wedding, just enjoy yourself on the wedding, and then whatever you're feeling afterwards, deal with it the next day.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because just in case it works out, you want to have the memory of a good wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: So as much as you can, it's free. [SPEAKER_01]: You have to pay for the wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: You have your friends and family, it's like a big party. [SPEAKER_01]: Just think of it that way and have fun.

[SPEAKER_01]: So Sean is talking to his mentor. [SPEAKER_01]: Who seems to be his same height, too? [SPEAKER_01]: Guys, I'm not fixator and height. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just they've mentioned it. [SPEAKER_01]: And I just said, looking at everyone who was the same height as Sean. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's telling him, you know my past.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I sometimes move fast in the physical area. [SPEAKER_01]: And the friend is like, I do ha ha ha, I'm like, I don't know some about this week's off. [SPEAKER_01]: So the friend says, you're about, no, he said, I'm about to go in a honeymoon and spend every night in bed with her. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you have any advice?

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what advice? [SPEAKER_00]: Once again, why are you having this conversation with the wrong person? [SPEAKER_00]: There's only one person you can have this conversation with. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not this man. [SPEAKER_01]: What even could be the advice? [SPEAKER_01]: Like if she doesn't want to have sex, what is anyways?

[SPEAKER_01]: The friend says, you know me, you know, it's worth the wait. [SPEAKER_01]: And I can tell you that. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what does that even mean? [SPEAKER_01]: So... [SPEAKER_01]: Her friends asked her, oh, what does night one look like for you? [SPEAKER_01]: And she says, what, like, a peck of the cheek?

[SPEAKER_01]: And then she says, just kidding, like I want to take it slow and I just want us to be friends first. [SPEAKER_01]: Sean tells his mentor, like you think, so you're saying I should turn on the music and put on my speedos and I'm like, this man in the jokes. [SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: But at this point, I'm thinking, why does your reception seem boring?

[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't seeing people mangling, dancing. [SPEAKER_01]: They were just apart from each other. [SPEAKER_01]: But things took a turn for the better, because she changed to her second dress. [SPEAKER_01]: She looks lovely, they're dancing. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, okay, the DJ has arrived.

[SPEAKER_01]: Then maybe that was the cocktail hour that we were seeing. [SPEAKER_01]: And I just didn't know that it was the cocktail hour. [SPEAKER_01]: So he says, like, he feels like he won the lottery. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's time for the guarder toss. [SPEAKER_01]: I thought we got rid of that, but we didn't.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, [SPEAKER_01]: he gets the guarda, he does it, and then he does ask her, like, hey, can I kiss you?

[SPEAKER_01]: She does say yes. [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't like to give people kudos for trying because you agreed to be on married and first sight, but she does say yes, and she doesn't like turn him down or anything. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's good, I think. [SPEAKER_01]: So they get to the hotel and Sean is like, oh, do you want me on the couch?

[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, no, it's fine. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think the bed is big enough [SPEAKER_01]: on there. [SPEAKER_01]: And then she finally says in her confessional that he is not my physical type. [SPEAKER_01]: But I do like his intellect so we'll see how he goes. [SPEAKER_01]: Then she asks him like, oh, what are you usually sleeping?

[SPEAKER_01]: And he says that he wears shorts with no shirt. [SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, [SPEAKER_00]: glad they jumped over that room because they'll never have a good moment again. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's my deal. [SPEAKER_01]: And what's so funny is like my four-year page, oh, maybe I do fall home.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: They decided to show me a video of Sean in a pool doing like some kind of video, shirtless with all his chest hair, taco meat just all out there for everyone. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what he was talking about, but I just wrote past, but I want to believe [SPEAKER_01]: Don't quote me, but I think Sean is one of the people who is already selling camels.

[SPEAKER_01]: Huh! [SPEAKER_01]: Guys, I don't know what to make of all of this. [SPEAKER_01]: Our alums would never, but I need to stop comparing them to old school maps. [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, but the show hasn't even premiered and we're selling camu's, but okay, what a $10. [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't check, I didn't bother.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think Massfan posted it and I was like, what, really? [SPEAKER_01]: So I wonder if they'll make him take it. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so. [SPEAKER_01]: They have all the freedom. [SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, because for all the things they're posting, they're not stopping them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like I ask me anything when your show barely premiered. [SPEAKER_01]: So. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, she does say that she doesn't feel attracted to him right now, but it could grow. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like, okay, that's the spirit and then Sean makes me cringe. [SPEAKER_01]: She decides to change the temperature and he's like, what do you want it on 69?

[SPEAKER_01]: That's my favorite temperature. [SPEAKER_01]: Sean, you 48. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, you should be done with those kind of jokes, like your groom man, she says that she doesn't want to play into the sexual stuff that she needs to set boundaries that she doesn't want to do that. [SPEAKER_01]: And then she gives us like a kind of wink because she's like, because hey, it is my favorite position too.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, okay, Nikki. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, she had that energy in the confessional. [SPEAKER_00]: She didn't have that energy, but she was actually talking to him. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's there, it just needs to come out eventually. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, slow burn, I'm just having hope because I really wanted to work out for her but only if it's like genuine because not skipping ahead, but the previews later on it seems like they get to a good spot and then it looks like after that, things fall apart again.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, [SPEAKER_00]: You know, even Hayley had sex with Jake, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: You never spoke to him again, but he's never spoke to him again, so, you know. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, she takes off her makeup and then he shows up and is like, can I get a kiss? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, read the room, Sean.

[SPEAKER_01]: She's taking off her makeup. [SPEAKER_01]: She says in a confessional, you don't need a kiss every five minutes. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's an escalation and that needs to stop. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I keep on repeating myself, but it keeps on being true. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is not a good situation.

[SPEAKER_01]: think it was rude for just all these little examples, like put a shirt on, this is an escalation. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I thought it was two things going on. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't, I'm not going to call it rude. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: But I also thought that he wasn't doing a great job of reading the room.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I don't think either one of them can claim to have behaved that greatly. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I feel like maybe from the way I'm talking as long as I'm blaming her more, that's really not it. [SPEAKER_00]: I really felt like he was not reading the room. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like she dropped plenty of hints, and then he just kept on trying to push and then she kept on feeling like she needed to back him off.

[SPEAKER_00]: It would be a really bad energy. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it was a situation where he's the kind of person who feels like, let's say this silence in the room and they don't like silence and they just keep talking even harder, even though they know they should up, but he can't help himself.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought he already had the approach where it was like, I'm just going to go at her pace, whatever it makes her comfortable, the goal is to make her comfortable. [SPEAKER_01]: And I was thinking, you know what, that's a good plan. [SPEAKER_01]: But they got to the hotel and it seems like a switch flipped in Shantan and [SPEAKER_01]: everything went out the window and he just couldn't stop.

[SPEAKER_01]: So they get into bed and didn't even teach us getting to bed and lay, he's like, thank you for letting me stay in the bed and then that leads to like some back and forth and he's like, I'm just kidding. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just kidding. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, oh, this is, if you want to keep something, you're just kidding.

[SPEAKER_00]: These are not funny jokes. [SPEAKER_00]: You shouldn't have to. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to tell people when it's a joke. [SPEAKER_00]: They just know because it's nice. [SPEAKER_01]: Then they get in the bed and then he's like you're soft. [SPEAKER_01]: The bed soft. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like Sean stop talking So yeah, so that was it for Nikki and Sean any final thoughts [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sad about them because when I saw them in the last episode, I was like, oh, older couple.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I just really liked a lot of things and then it turned into garbage. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So sad. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Take quick break and I'll be back for you yet another couple. [SPEAKER_01]: Caitlyn and Devon. [SPEAKER_01]: And we're back.

[SPEAKER_01]: The good thing is that in this episode, we are done with the weddings. [SPEAKER_01]: Like we're done with everyone. [SPEAKER_01]: So they just shoved everybody. [SPEAKER_01]: They're wedding, receptions, everything in here. [SPEAKER_01]: So Caitlyn and Devon, I was thinking there has to be a reason that we're shown last or am I reading too much into it?

[SPEAKER_01]: What did you think? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, I couldn't tell. [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, these people, how do I put this nicely? [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's like so generic that they look so similar to the other couples. [SPEAKER_00]: And there was nothing like stand out about them. [SPEAKER_00]: So it was like, I couldn't tell why they might be put last because there was really nothing distinctive about them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe because they could last, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I've seen a couple of people say, like it reminds them of that Minnesota lovers' blind season with a good and tell. [SPEAKER_01]: Who is who? [SPEAKER_01]: So he says, Devin, that is, says that most people's impression of him is that he's a douche because he's a pro athlete, but when they get to know him, they know that he's a teddy bear.

[SPEAKER_01]: I am going to expose my ignorance here. [SPEAKER_01]: I honestly did not know that they play rugby in America, just thought, you know, you don't know Mars? [SPEAKER_01]: No, I do. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I just thought, like, well, just true, I know that's for women. [SPEAKER_01]: That's true.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I had my own blonde moment, but it's just, I've never heard, I guess I don't know any notable American rugby player. [SPEAKER_01]: I do know who Lona Mahar is. [SPEAKER_01]: That's funny. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyways, yeah, I do, that's what now that I think about it.

[SPEAKER_01]: That makes all the sense, but oh well, um, of course, I went to go Google and he does, he did play for the Seattle C wolves and funny enough. [SPEAKER_01]: He does not play there anymore. [SPEAKER_01]: He has retired and he's currently the director of youth and community programming for the Seattle C wolves.

[SPEAKER_01]: So just enough date for you guys. [SPEAKER_01]: So Paul says the concern is that in pro sports he's always on the go so that could be a challenge and he was like, well, hopefully she works remote and she can work from anywhere that pissed me up. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not looking to be pissed off.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like why are we starting up with the woman giving up something but your life doesn't change. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I don't know, yes, I just, it screams like I really want this person to fit into my life. [SPEAKER_00]: I will not be making any adjustments to fit into theirs. [SPEAKER_01]: And also with the matchmakers, if you know this man is going to be traveling and not going to be around.

[SPEAKER_01]: What are we doing? [SPEAKER_01]: Why must we fit this first thing into the show. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, again, not that the show has mentioned it. [SPEAKER_01]: He did retire, but I'm just why are we doing this. [SPEAKER_01]: So. [SPEAKER_01]: Q Katelyn saying, ultimately, I can work from anywhere.

[SPEAKER_01]: I work for a boutique marketing company, and I work remote, so I can go anywhere that I want to. [SPEAKER_01]: She also mentions that she's turned all her hobbies into a business and she's a cycling instructor and makeup artist. [SPEAKER_01]: And then he mentions, they ask him who his type is.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, his type is Sydney Sweeney. [SPEAKER_01]: It I do feel like I shouldn't judge based on that, but I feel like I did. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, what did you judge? [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what, Sydney's, you know, see this movie, right? [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I really hadn't heard of her until that stupid jeans commercial.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, on euphoria, and she just seems like... [SPEAKER_01]: The typical, what did you describe? [SPEAKER_01]: He said her eyes, the way she looks at you, I thought he was going to say that whole girl next door, but then they look like a kid, but then they don't. [SPEAKER_01]: But I don't want to put stuff into him.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he really does find her attractive or I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: But he just felt like with all of it, like she's the stereotypical person, I think I don't know how to verbalize what I thought. [SPEAKER_01]: Which is why I said like, like you're watching him. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how to describe.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's like basic, like a, you need crush is not. [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't mean, it's very generic, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't lend, like, I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm projecting on him. [SPEAKER_01]: I will take all responsibility. [SPEAKER_01]: She plays a high school person on TV.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how he knows her. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe her many movies that are flopped. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I honestly could be her boon because, you know, she has great boobs. [SPEAKER_01]: She's always showing off her boobs. [SPEAKER_01]: It could be that I don't know, but he said it was her eyes.

[SPEAKER_01]: the way she looks at you and is like, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: It was me absolutely projected, but I don't think I can pinpoint, I feel like Nick. [SPEAKER_01]: What happened? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: No, she's old enough. [SPEAKER_01]: She's like 28 or something. [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, I didn't ask how old was she?

[SPEAKER_00]: I asked how old he is. [SPEAKER_00]: 27. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: See, I don't know much about Sidney Sweeney, but if you'd ask me how old she is, I was like, I think she's 22 or something, so it makes sense to me that a 27 year old is attracted to some 22 year old who looks like she's 22, who's actually 27.

[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, I do feel like if you ask a lot of why guys his age, they will say Sidney Sweeney, honestly. [SPEAKER_01]: So, [SPEAKER_01]: If anyone has a better way of expressing what they feel, or have it, it can link to what I'm feeling, let me know. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you can help me with the words that I'm trying to say.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so they asked her who she has a crush on, and she says Nick Bosa. [SPEAKER_01]: He's a football player, he's big, he's strong, and I think they... [SPEAKER_01]: They got it right. [SPEAKER_01]: I think they did too. [SPEAKER_00]: I think they did too. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it tells her too.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if Sidney Swing is your crush, she, she, to me looks great. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: She does. [SPEAKER_00]: I see these videos. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, follow her many things. [SPEAKER_01]: She's pretty. [SPEAKER_01]: She's been in, in a lot of trouble. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, she's been accused.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think she had like a party. [SPEAKER_01]: It was like a, and they were calling her family, a Maga family, and all that. [SPEAKER_01]: There's just a lot of controversy around Sidney Swingy. [SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, so his mom was 18 when she had him. [SPEAKER_01]: He says he doesn't talk to his dad, like how can you have two boys and you did but you don't take care of them, that he doesn't respect that and he doesn't want that person in his life.

[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we have a lot of that this season, a lot of people who are not talking to their dad. [SPEAKER_00]: Or parents, or yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Did he say? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: He says that he wants to be a father because they do ask about children. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: Did you detect the blacksmith with Devon? [SPEAKER_01]: No, I didn't actually. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I did, but I wasn't sure. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so they asked her the same question, Caitlyn, do you want to have kids? [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, oh, with the right person, I want to have kids.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I think she's fine either way, if she doesn't, and if she does. [SPEAKER_01]: So he says that he doesn't want to see himself above his partner, and she says she wants an intense connection. [SPEAKER_01]: Did Paul and Paz get together and Paz says, I like Devon. [SPEAKER_01]: I like Devon because as a mama of boys, it seems like he's a mama's boy.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's a good thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So they have the way to think. [SPEAKER_00]: As a mama's boy, it seems like he really understands what it will take to have a successful relationships. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just, mama's boy doesn't, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Everybody has different definitions, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because what she says is preceding that is as a mother of boys, I like that he's a mama's boy. [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know what that means. [SPEAKER_00]: So, yes, yes. [SPEAKER_01]: So they have the wedding, and her dad is not excited. [SPEAKER_01]: He is very traditional. [SPEAKER_01]: She tells us that she's happy that he's here, but he's not going to be walking her down the aisle.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sorry, guys, that is shitty. [SPEAKER_01]: Why are you there at the wedding? [SPEAKER_01]: And you're absolutely trying to make a point, take a stance like it's not changing anything and you're choosing not to walk her down the aisle. [SPEAKER_01]: I just think that's a really shitty thing to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know what's really funny? [SPEAKER_00]: When I saw you write about this on Threads, I thought you were talking about Michelle's dad, but you were talking about, okay, I agree with you, I just people just say words that mean nothing. [SPEAKER_00]: To me, when someone says they're traditional, I'm like, is not the most traditional thing to walk your daughter down the island, everybody.

[SPEAKER_01]: What does these words mean? [SPEAKER_01]: He wants the whole thing where you know the family, he asks for her hand, and he gives his blessing, but right now he feels like he's just ripping her away from him without even asking. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God. [SPEAKER_01]: This is my interpretation.

[SPEAKER_00]: I have minutes. [SPEAKER_00]: I have more thoughts about her dad later, but yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: The thing is, and the thing with Michelle is like, Michelle seems like her dad doesn't want to be on camera. [SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be there and all that kind of stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: I do think that he could have walked it on the aisle and he could have cut it off, but that would be very difficult to film.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they do too. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: But, um, Devin still has a great grandmother and she's there and she hugs him and just tells him, like, you know, I told you you're going to be a star in 1999, which I believe that's when he was born. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, um, her mom shows up says I love the flowers.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, her mom and her dad are walking into the wedding venue. [SPEAKER_01]: And the mom was like, Oh, I love the flowers. [SPEAKER_01]: Little did I know that would be the first and last thing that she said and her dad was like, I don't give a shit at some point. [SPEAKER_01]: I have to meet these fuckers and I'm like, this is so cringe.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you're showing up and you just have a bad attitude and you're cursing at everyone. [SPEAKER_01]: So, Devin is ready. [SPEAKER_01]: Devin is coming down. [SPEAKER_01]: He goes down the aisle. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, let's do this, saying, fuck, yeah, and I'm like, why are you cursing?

[SPEAKER_01]: You don't know these people. [SPEAKER_01]: You're just cursing for no reason. [SPEAKER_01]: I really do wish he got rid of his blonde tip, so I'm going to die job that really bother me, but I mean, it bothered me, but honestly, as I continue to try to remember these people's names, that hair is real helpful.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's funny. [SPEAKER_01]: So she walks down the aisle alone. [SPEAKER_01]: And did you notice that she wasn't wearing a veil? [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know, I mean, I did not notice. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to notice. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she did not wear a veil. [SPEAKER_01]: So they meet, they shake hands.

[SPEAKER_01]: She tells him he looks fantastic. [SPEAKER_01]: But she's also cursing too. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like, OK, maybe you really need some magic. [SPEAKER_01]: and then her dad gets up. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what is happening? [SPEAKER_01]: Logic part two, he gets up and he's like, this whole thing is crazy.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, okay, he says, this is my baby, I'm old school, and I'm a mess, and this is uncomfortable as it is for me, it's her life, but for good or for bad, I trust her, I just hope he turns into something amazing, and then he sits down. [SPEAKER_00]: What are we doing? [SPEAKER_00]: I, I, I don't have anything nice to say.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, a single thing nice to say, keep it going so I can say nice things all these that is then what they're 15 minutes so they both say their vows and as usual they align and then okay with them they did say this is your lawful what it has been they pronounced them a married couple and they have a proper kiss.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know, let me tell you, eight, I do give you props all the time because, you know, with you, we both discovered the whole, well, Frankenstein, when we said covering the show, the way maps is like the master Frankenstein and doing voiceovers, I don't know why we had the efficient to a voiceover saying I now pronounce you for the first time as a married couple.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, why do we need to redo it? [SPEAKER_01]: Why can we just go with what was said in there? [SPEAKER_00]: But in the funny thing is, it's like, sometimes it's literally like, there was wind. [SPEAKER_00]: And so the microphone didn't pick it up. [SPEAKER_00]: But I mean, okay, that's fair.

[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't think about that. [SPEAKER_01]: It was like looking for hours. [SPEAKER_01]: So his friends are very exuberant. [SPEAKER_01]: They're just like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, but I'll take them over who's was it? [SPEAKER_01]: Was it Adam's friends? [SPEAKER_01]: They were just the, and I'm like, can you be excited?

[SPEAKER_01]: They're already called him to 10-man. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to match. [SPEAKER_01]: So he tells her that she's beautiful, he fucking loves her eyes, and that she seems like the kind that we're running to the woods with him, so the camera better go away. [SPEAKER_01]: wink wink. [SPEAKER_01]: So then they get to the reception, they cling classes, naturally they just kiss, and then he goes up to her dad and says, like, you know, he wanted to introduce himself, but he didn't know who the dad was.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, Devon, you could have asked who's the dad, but what do I know? [SPEAKER_01]: And her dad says that he appreciates his discussion. [SPEAKER_01]: And again, the mom is there, but she says nothing. [SPEAKER_01]: So she changes well, she has a reception dress. [SPEAKER_01]: And every time they kiss, the dad keeps bearing his face into his hands like he's dying, every time he sees it.

[SPEAKER_01]: And guys, again, you know there's money with peacock when you are dancing to the actual original. [SPEAKER_01]: And there are dancing to Chapel Rones, Pink Pony Club. [SPEAKER_01]: That's not, you know, a nobody. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're all there. [SPEAKER_01]: Pink Pony Club. [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, oh my god.

[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It runs out. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, please stop. [SPEAKER_01]: It was a fun wedding and he seems like they were all the friends were meshing together and having fun. [SPEAKER_01]: So our dad gets on the mic again and I'm like, we got it the first time, dude, you don't need to do it again, but he does.

[SPEAKER_01]: He says, five days ago, four score and twenty years ago, I wasn't going to come to the wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I just thought this was red flags and that his family is crazy and he would have been so disappointed if he wasn't here, but he thinks the family for being authentic and wild and that he's rooting for them and then she hugs him, she says I love you dad and that was it.

[SPEAKER_01]: and it was fun and we have like a little montage of all now that all the weddings are done, everybody has a little montage of leaving and all that's kind of stuff and it's just always fun to see people enjoying their wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: I just hope I cannot deal with this dad. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember his name nor do I care.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just, there are men who every single thing that happens in their family, their feelings must be considered over everybody's. [SPEAKER_00]: They must be the center of attention. [SPEAKER_00]: No one else is feeling matters, but mine, and it's really annoying to see. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's all I got out of that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Me, me, me, me, me. [SPEAKER_00]: How do I feel? [SPEAKER_00]: No, how does my daughter feel? [SPEAKER_00]: Not just how does her do husband feel? [SPEAKER_00]: How do I feel? [SPEAKER_00]: That's the only feelings that matter in this situation. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel good now, therefore all of you could feel good.

[SPEAKER_00]: Before I was an asshole, so no one could feel good until I felt good. [SPEAKER_01]: And also, he could have just pulled her aside and pulled her in. [SPEAKER_01]: He needs to get on the mic multiple times. [SPEAKER_00]: Center of attention, center of it. [SPEAKER_00]: But the reason why he has to be the center of attention is because his feelings are the ones that matter the most and that's why they need to be publicized and shared with everybody.

[SPEAKER_00]: No one else is feelings matter. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Like literally no one would have known that he didn't want to come five days ago. [SPEAKER_01]: That's all found out when we watch the show. [SPEAKER_01]: They get to the hotel. [SPEAKER_01]: She takes up her makeup and he tells her, oh, yes, so cute.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he says that he's a physical touch guy and it looks like she's the same. [SPEAKER_01]: So he thinks like, you know, it's gonna be good. [SPEAKER_01]: He says like he's going to wait to have sex and then she has unless you want to not going to say no And he laughs she says like she's someone who gets the egg very easily But honestly right now she has no flags and she has none They go to bed.

[SPEAKER_00]: They kiss good night, and that's it for the I'm always asking if why were they the last couple and like maybe they're the successful one [SPEAKER_00]: That makes seem to have a really good first episode. [SPEAKER_00]: I think I mean, probably like Felipe and Tory were also pretty good. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just been so long that I forgot.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but like they had a very, very good like their vibes were really good. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's what I was thinking was that bit we'll see. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's see what happens. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll take a quick break and I'll be right back. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so the rest of the couple is basically just everyone and what happens when they get to the hotel because everyone has left the wedding I believe at this point so we have Cameron, oh no, we have some little wedding stuff Cameron and Michelle their first dance is kind of awkward because of the height difference and when they do their speeches, I think her brother give a speech, she's nice and Disney land is her second home.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she has lots of flyer miles and he gave like a really cute speech. [SPEAKER_01]: So she brings up the whole relationship thing. [SPEAKER_01]: I think either when they were in the car on the hotel and he gives his whole feel of how he's just never met anyone. [SPEAKER_01]: But then this is when he kind of changes.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's not that he's never been in a relationship before. [SPEAKER_01]: He's just never been in a relationship beyond six months, which to me is two different things. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: So why would the distinction was made long-term relationship? [SPEAKER_00]: But then we didn't really get an idea of what long-term means as a term now.

[SPEAKER_00]: And now we understand that just means less than six months. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, they're in the car. [SPEAKER_01]: She also changed her second dress. [SPEAKER_01]: I do believe this is this the first season we're seeing where people changed.

[SPEAKER_01]: into second wedding dresses. [SPEAKER_01]: This is the first I think I remember maybe it's happened before, but they're in the limo on their way to the hotel and then when she brings up the whole, he says the relationship thinks she's like, now I'm nervous because does that mean you're going to nitpick everything about me and he's like, nah, I'm not going to.

[SPEAKER_01]: He gives a lot of nothing, I honestly kind of think they're boring, so I'm yet to decide if that's a good thing or not. [SPEAKER_01]: The only little highlight thing was they were talking about them saying that he was the best basketball player in the world. [SPEAKER_01]: And she was like, you know what's funny when I was listening to my crush is Steph Curry was one of them and then he's like, I look nothing like Steph Curry.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, are you joking or is there some bite to that comment? [SPEAKER_00]: I'm also just like are you people are a little nutty because I'm like you definitely look I wouldn't say similar. [SPEAKER_01]: I think he's kind of built. [SPEAKER_00]: I won't. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know where I'm coming from.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm like, sorry, it's very light skin. [SPEAKER_01]: No, you have no, it's not even in the realm. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I mean, I think you felt like you're trying to over explain, like, no, not necessarily, but I like the way he takes care of his wife, he's this. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, okay, you know what it's like, you like stuff curry, you like stuff curry, but I don't know why he wasn't like laughing, like it's okay, it's fine, whatever, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the only thing like I'm going to look out for, but honestly, they're kind of giving me nothing for now. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't expect that to last though. [SPEAKER_00]: I actually think there's something there. [SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna give us something. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we'll see.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes boring is good. [SPEAKER_01]: You just focus on each other. [SPEAKER_01]: It's day out the draw-off. [SPEAKER_01]: So... [SPEAKER_01]: Bell Jolie and Mecca, Hamida of honor, Amani, just has a stink face on. [SPEAKER_01]: And she's just telling her, like, I'm looking at him being Mecca and it's like, did you mean it?

[SPEAKER_01]: I would punch you in the throat. [SPEAKER_01]: I would punch your Adam's apple to the back of your throat. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, did we miss something? [SPEAKER_01]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: I should weird, you know, weirdly hostile. [SPEAKER_00]: And we have no context. [SPEAKER_00]: If we were to give her the benefit of the doubt, we're like, do we miss something?

[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think some people write for their best friends like that. [SPEAKER_01]: I usually don't like it. [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone love his blind. [SPEAKER_01]: And they do, and they're so over the top. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, so protective of her. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want anything to happen.

[SPEAKER_01]: Then just be supportive. [SPEAKER_01]: And then if something happens, you'll be there to pick up the pieces. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand all this film for somebody that you don't even know. [SPEAKER_00]: But um, you have a met. [SPEAKER_01]: But again, how long you enter this wedding is it?

[SPEAKER_01]: There's still talking to other people. [SPEAKER_01]: Now she's talking to her best friend and it's still not makeup. [SPEAKER_01]: But what do I know? [SPEAKER_01]: She says she's just kidding. [SPEAKER_01]: This is her best friend. [SPEAKER_01]: But you know, she sounds virtually to move with discernment.

[SPEAKER_01]: And [SPEAKER_01]: Bell Julie says like he is really cute and no her best friend says that he is really cute and she thought that we're gonna kiss and she's like nope we weren't I'm gonna stand on business that they're just gonna go to bed cuddle and sleep [SPEAKER_01]: Then his dad is talking to Mecca.

[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like anytime I see logic with Mecca, I just want to separate them because I don't know what more damage this man is doing. [SPEAKER_01]: So Mecca is holding a baby. [SPEAKER_01]: She's just holding a baby. [SPEAKER_01]: Who could be her niece? [SPEAKER_01]: A little baby cousin. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, oh, she got baby fever too. [SPEAKER_01]: How does holding a baby translate to baby fever? [SPEAKER_01]: Logic. [SPEAKER_00]: What's the logic in the magic voice? [SPEAKER_00]: Magic loves the sound of logic's voice. [SPEAKER_01]: He does. [SPEAKER_01]: Mecca is like, oh, you know, I'm not ready for that.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want a baby. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, guys, we're getting ahead of ourselves. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just our three. [SPEAKER_01]: So logic says he didn't know that this was going to be so much fun that he was going to like her and her family this much, and it seems like they're into it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Brace yourself, guys. [SPEAKER_01]: His dad turns to Mecca, and it's like, so you're going to try to clap them cheeks tonight. [SPEAKER_00]: No, my God. [SPEAKER_01]: mecha says no you saw how that went with the kiss and the dad says well she looked flustered when she came out and you know you had an erection up there now we're going to far this is gross what are we doing and why is he drunk I think I was thinking like was he intoxicated not an excuse but I also hate that mecha didn't set him straight late [SPEAKER_01]: This gives insight into the dynamics of their relationships, and I'm nervous.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just hope we don't see him again. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm hoping this is all wedding episode stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Logic, another one who just loves to be the center of attention and say things that he hopes will not make the living room floor. [SPEAKER_00]: Cutting room floor, sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: This is, I'm hoping that's all that is, but this is a man who loves to be the center of attention.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he's saying these things so he can give his son the best advice for a great marriage. [SPEAKER_00]: He's saying these things so he can get on TV and be entertaining. [SPEAKER_01]: He says dad married because if they're like, okay, because I was like, if they liked him so much, just match him.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why did they just put him on the show? [SPEAKER_01]: Just might as well. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and the read, oh yeah, I had that. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So after the wedding, [SPEAKER_01]: They're writing in the car, going to the hotel. [SPEAKER_01]: She tells him about how family is very important.

[SPEAKER_01]: She shares about her dad, meaning he met 20, as she didn't go into detail with the DNA stuff, but she said, seeing her mom be a single mom, raising kids that she just has so much admiration for her. [SPEAKER_01]: He also shares about living without his mom. [SPEAKER_01]: And also the other family member said he's in strange form and he just says like he doesn't want to be separated He's always said like when he got married he's not going to be separated.

[SPEAKER_01]: He just doesn't want to have, you know kids, you know, raised in that environment. [SPEAKER_00]: So basically they're aligned in that Yeah, he says I was not raised with my biological mom and that's what made me think that logic was married and that he had a step mom because he made a distinction But that was actually me just theorizing about whether or not logic was married [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he didn't mention when he told that story earlier, I guess, when he's not talking to his stepbrother plural, I believe, but we don't know if they stayed together, if they separated, I don't know [SPEAKER_01]: So they get to the hotel and Mecca asks her like what she's concerned about or fearful of.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she was like, she doesn't have any. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's shocking. [SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, how about you? [SPEAKER_01]: Do you have anything? [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, what if he says something that she thinks is very weird? [SPEAKER_01]: At this point, I was really hoping they would just go to bed because I kind of feel like they shouldn't have this conversation with alcohol in the system.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because I kind of feel like Mecca also had alcohol in the system. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure. [SPEAKER_01]: Or this is just him. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know him well enough. [SPEAKER_01]: to know. [SPEAKER_01]: So he was like, she's like, give me an example, give me an example and he's like, well, I brush my teeth in the shower.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so people think it's weird. [SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, that's not weird. [SPEAKER_01]: I do that. [SPEAKER_00]: It is weird. [SPEAKER_01]: So they keep talking and he's like, but something will happen, like somewhere down the line and on like Mecca, just relax. [SPEAKER_01]: Like you found someone who at this point is willing to accept, you know, all the quirkiness and all the things, just being the moment, but, you know, that's gonna be a struggle.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, Belgia Lee says, it's romantic in here in the hotel room and it's hard to not dive into the moment, but it is important to build a friendship. [SPEAKER_01]: So, do you think she's gonna cave? [SPEAKER_00]: she's attracted to him, so yeah, maybe. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll see. [SPEAKER_01]: That would be such a wild story where she's like, I'm not going to kiss you at the altar, but I'll have sex with you in the first night.

[SPEAKER_01]: That would be something. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, moving out to Nick and Courtney. [SPEAKER_01]: She wants to know why he wants to go on so many reality shows. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, is this endgame? [SPEAKER_01]: She's asking his friends. [SPEAKER_01]: They sing like no, his endgame is to be in a long-term relationship that the more you get to know him, you see who he really is.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, I mean, his gorgeous. [SPEAKER_01]: So there's that. [SPEAKER_01]: And the fact that you guys are vouching for him, that that's a good thing. [SPEAKER_01]: She asks her parents what they think of Nick. [SPEAKER_01]: And they say that he's good. [SPEAKER_01]: She says she's so happy.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she finds it so attractive that he was able to win everyone over on her side. [SPEAKER_01]: And then she says, this could be the starter something great or not. [SPEAKER_01]: So, I don't know, maybe she's being realistic because it's true, 50-50. [SPEAKER_01]: So they get to the hotel.

[SPEAKER_01]: She says expectations were met, and he said he had anxiety about what if he wasn't in her. [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't say what if she wasn't in to him. [SPEAKER_01]: He said if I wasn't into you. [SPEAKER_01]: She takes up her makeup, she takes her hair down, and she's already worrying about him getting bored, them being stagnant.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the producer says, you've only known him for three hours, and you worried about that, and she says, yes, I am. [SPEAKER_00]: He says that's a personal person to look at. [SPEAKER_00]: Nerf is never to watch, to watch is not not look at, but like her energy is very nervous, Nelly. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, she's an anxious person.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think she's very nervous about everything. [SPEAKER_00]: I think so. [SPEAKER_00]: Hi there anxiety better than her though. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not just that she's anxious, she's visibly anxious. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, her energy is very like if you weren't like worried about something, you would instantly be worried about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like what am I missing? [SPEAKER_00]: What does she know that I don't know? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: So he says that he likes that she took of her makeup, but if she goes tending every day, they're probably gonna have a conversation about that. [SPEAKER_01]: he asked her about him sleeping in the bed and she's like she doesn't say oh yeah you can she's like if you want to like I'm not gonna make you do what you don't want to but if you do then you want it I'm like oh my god or do you just say yes and she's like but if you choose that you want to be in the bed I'm comfortable with that and he's like oh okay I don't know if this is me I do feel that after she took off her makeup I do think Nick changed how do you think you

[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen Nick again. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's not. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I'm just reading. [SPEAKER_01]: I just seen he just seemed less [SPEAKER_01]: Like he was putting on a mat like he now he became more rigid like he was kind of loose yes he was anxious and it was kind of is but now we felt like he was picking his words see the thing on the circle right is that it's like a social media thing and you're just you don't get to speak to anyone you get to say words out loud and you have to pick what you say and think about what you're going to say and I felt like I got that from him where he was thinking very carefully of what he was going to say and then when they got into bed.

[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't like organic and I don't know if it's because of her because she's also nervous But that was the vibe that I got and I don't know if it's just me I think it's interesting that you attribute it to the makeup No, I just the timing That was going to when I noticed I don't attribute it to the makeup.

[SPEAKER_01]: I just feel like after that and all that and he was just saying like I think it's I like that she took off her makeup. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if she said that she she thinks that she's comfortable But she wasn't going to go to bed with the makeup [SPEAKER_01]: So he just felt like he was saying something like he thought by that's what they wanted to hear, but I don't know if they asked him a question, but it's just a tiny, I don't mean that it's because of the makeup.

[SPEAKER_00]: OK. Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So they do kiss good night, and that was it for them. [SPEAKER_01]: I do feel like they're whole good night. [SPEAKER_01]: Everything was awkward too, but we'll see how it develops. [SPEAKER_01]: Next time. [SPEAKER_00]: I truly believe she could have been master than anyone and just her energy would have killed anything.

[SPEAKER_01]: But out of the guys that we have here is he the best person she could be matched with for her. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think in my mind, I'm like, I wouldn't want to take any of the other guys away from who they're currently with. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I think everybody's goal.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think I would have I was switch. [SPEAKER_01]: I would give her to Adam since he thinks he trains pro athletes and she's a bodybuilder and all of that stuff except he doesn't drink but they like to ignore things and give Marissa to make. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay I think I would do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, Tori and Felipe, they cut their cake and when they cut the cake, Tori just randomly is like, she'd think, and I don't know why that just scored points for me with her. [SPEAKER_01]: And Felipe took a while and he's like, oh, you said that and he's that laughing and I'm like, this people are having a great time.

[SPEAKER_01]: Felipe says in Brazilian culture when you cut the cake, you give it to the most important person in your life. [SPEAKER_01]: He says, Mom, I love you. [SPEAKER_01]: And then he gives it to Tori that got me guys. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to like That was cute. [SPEAKER_01]: That was cute.

[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it couldn't be topped But then he was like you get the second one mom and Tori was like no, and then gives it to his mom And I'm like good move Tori. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think she was being calculated, but I'm just like Good move. [SPEAKER_01]: That was really really good and she hugs her and she was like that was so nice And you can tell that Felipe was just like, oh, that was great [SPEAKER_01]: They get to the hotel.

[SPEAKER_01]: She's like he's hot like he's really hot That it takes a while for her to put her walls down, but his heart is big and it's going to be easy for her to do so Philippe says like he feels so vulnerable that she's so excellent that he's gonna try so hard For this to work that he wants to give this 100% so this works She's the only one who wears a sexy.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even pajamas with sexy Think to bed because everyone is like [SPEAKER_01]: Old shorts and shirt, Courtney was like in a full pants pajamas and he gives her a look when he sees her in the in her nightmare. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess and they get into bed and then they kiss he says good night baby.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, well, we're ready on baby. [SPEAKER_01]: And that was it. [SPEAKER_01]: So it made me happy. [SPEAKER_00]: So, yes, I, I think part of me was like, none of these people are going to work out because they show in such trash. [SPEAKER_00]: And then there are people who are like, wait, am I allowed to have hope?

[SPEAKER_00]: And Tori and Philippe are one of those. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we got to have hope, Aide. [SPEAKER_01]: You can't watch this show with no hope. [SPEAKER_01]: Ha ha ha ha ha. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, Cameron and Michelle, [SPEAKER_01]: Cameron says in the car, the biggest challenge is like, oh, man, been alone for a while now.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, how long was your last relationship? [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, I wasn't a three year relationship three years ago. [SPEAKER_01]: And they almost got engaged. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, did you get a promise ring or what is always got engaged? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: You went shopping for rings, you know?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, yeah, we've been alone for a while and then now they're just going to be someone in my space all the time have to get used to having someone around on my camera. [SPEAKER_01]: You signed up to be married, right? [SPEAKER_01]: You know that's right.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: She says that she they'll figure it out and they'll see how it goes, but like I said, they keep nothing. [SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing really happening here. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's it. [SPEAKER_01]: So Marissa and Adam were the final couple of the night. [SPEAKER_01]: He's friends, she's talking to his friends.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, is there anything I need to know? [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, oh, he's chill. [SPEAKER_01]: He's soft. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, he's obsessed with jet skis. [SPEAKER_01]: Then we get a montage of him just telling everyone about jet skis, telling her mom. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's dark, and I'm like, this is crazy.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's the piano. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the piano. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm, it's, it just begs the question. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, what makes a person interesting? [SPEAKER_00]: And like, these two things could make him interesting, but somehow they just make him annoying. [SPEAKER_00]: How did that happen?

[SPEAKER_01]: because his Adam, and also don't forget, when they said like it's the discipline that his family instilled in him, the values is piano. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why. [SPEAKER_01]: He had it was a value to him. [SPEAKER_01]: So, so she asked her her first impression of him. [SPEAKER_01]: This is now at the hotel and he says like her first impression it was like he was tall and he had good shoulders.

[SPEAKER_01]: He was like, huh, the shoulders. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what got you. [SPEAKER_01]: So she asked, you know, what's your friend's think, like, did they like me? [SPEAKER_01]: And I think he was like, yeah, like he wasn't like enthusiastic. [SPEAKER_00]: You know? [SPEAKER_00]: So she's like truly enthusiastic about anything, though.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's his name. [SPEAKER_00]: That's his name. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true. [SPEAKER_01]: So she says she has no expectations that she's gonna be sleeping on the couch, but she was joking. [SPEAKER_01]: about that because then he closes the blinds and he says he's not nervous to be naked in front of his wife.

[SPEAKER_01]: He works out. [SPEAKER_01]: He is trained for this. [SPEAKER_01]: He's willing to show off his body. [SPEAKER_01]: So when he closes the blind, he's like, this is more my style. [SPEAKER_01]: And she says, go big or go home. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think I heard kisses. [SPEAKER_01]: So if I had to bet, if I was a bit lady, I would say Mary [SPEAKER_00]: Did you, was that a surprise to you, or did you expect that to come based on their previous behavior?

[SPEAKER_01]: I wanna say it's more like, okay, like if you told me about Julian Mecca, I had sex, I would be like, oh, I'm surprised, but if you say Marissa and Adam did, I'm not expecting them to, but I'd be like, okay, that's okay, I can see that happening. [SPEAKER_01]: She seems in all of him, which is actually a concern for me.

[SPEAKER_01]: for her. [SPEAKER_00]: I think we look at her, but we're like, why are you in awe of that? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I don't want her to have her whole relationship being that she wants to earn and feel like she's worthy of being his wife. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's my whole thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Like she's gorgeous.

[SPEAKER_01]: She's great. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know nothing about her. [SPEAKER_01]: I assume she's great and he should meet her where she's at [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that's the episode guys, but before we go, let's do the bouquet in ashes. [SPEAKER_01]: Who has your bouquet? [SPEAKER_00]: I hate to do this two episodes in a row.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, I was so eager to say my burn ashes that I never actually got to a bouquet. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I can go first. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, for, I'm like, who was your book? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Who's your book? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh. [SPEAKER_01]: My book can't go to Devon and Caitlin because it was just a good start to finish when they said all the things that, you know, they aligned together.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know I had my whole thing about the whole seediness we need to think, but I do take accountability that that's just me, like it's nothing on him, that's just me and it's illogical. [SPEAKER_01]: But it was good. [SPEAKER_01]: They seemed to align. [SPEAKER_01]: They seemed to get together.

[SPEAKER_01]: It seemed that ease and their family seemed to mesh. [SPEAKER_00]: but it was cute. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, on that note, I can give mine a name way for you to ask, but I can give mine to the experts for matching those two because they did seem to do a good job there. [SPEAKER_00]: Looks, personality, interest, like they all seem to align pretty well, so I'm going to give them credit for that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's fair. [SPEAKER_01]: If I had to run her up, I would give it to the whole cake scenario, fully baked, given this cake to Tori and Tori, given the cake to his mom. [SPEAKER_01]: That would be all, and that got me. [SPEAKER_01]: But I think I might bouquet the last time. [SPEAKER_01]: So I wanted to spread the love before it almost pisses me off, and I have no one to give it to.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, who are your ashes? [SPEAKER_00]: Michelle's dad. [SPEAKER_00]: That's why I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: I was so excited to say my ashes. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, I'm doing it again. [SPEAKER_00]: Fathers, I swear to God, [SPEAKER_00]: Your useless speeches, not walking your daughter down the aisle, making it all about you on your daughter's wedding day.

[SPEAKER_00]: Boo. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there was no one else. [SPEAKER_01]: It has to be. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, mine was logic. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I agree with the fathers. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, honesty was the logical logic. [SPEAKER_01]: Like that was just because his was really inappropriate. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I just find it so offensive.

[SPEAKER_01]: I just find it ridiculous talking about billsually that way. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's funny that, like, we still keep in mind, like, but don't you not want people to see you poorly? [SPEAKER_00]: Whereas I think these people don't care. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, we're operating with the idea that, like, someone's gonna see this someday.

[SPEAKER_00]: Aren't you concerned about that? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't think he thinks it's doing anything wrong. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and even worse, his mecca doesn't know that it's anything wrong because it's what he knows. [SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately, but that is the episode and a thank you so much for joining me for episode 2 and 3.
