[SPEAKER_00]: Well, guys, welcome back to part two of Marida for Site 20, the reunion with Camille here with me. [SPEAKER_00]: Mr. [SPEAKER_00]: Hopped on over from part one, so we're just going to dive into part two to talk about the rest of the couples. [SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to start with Adam and Marissa.
[SPEAKER_00]: There just was one day was fun. [SPEAKER_00]: She said I'm going to full send it to her now. [SPEAKER_00]: Man. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, yes, but I guess it probably was for the best, but yeah, we never saw how passionately she was feeling about something like that. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's the hard part.
[SPEAKER_01]: When you don't see it during the show, it feels like a little bit of a shock, but yeah, it alarmed, you know, wasn't surprising necessarily. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So they start straight with a surgery. [SPEAKER_00]: We talked about it at the top of the show. [SPEAKER_00]: So we don't know if he really broke his arm or if he wanted sympathy, but whatever.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's that pass, ask her her thoughts on his house and she goes in. [SPEAKER_00]: She's like, yeah, can I speak my treat now? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, it was fratty. [SPEAKER_00]: It was just a tarp. [SPEAKER_00]: And then pass was like, yeah, all of us were just like, how could you live there?
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, pass, can you say that? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I just have to get used to the fact that they can say, [SPEAKER_00]: whatever that they want to say. [SPEAKER_00]: She was like, yeah, I could never have lived there and I lied to the cameras. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, Rissa, okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: Pass is asking if we believe that on decision day, if he was as torn as he made out to be because he was crying and you was just saw that. [SPEAKER_00]: No one else seems to agree that he was torn except Nick. [SPEAKER_00]: Nick is like, wait, what? [SPEAKER_00]: Am I the idiot? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, wait, you don't believe that he wants to hurt the tears, rather.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Mecca is like, I mean, I believe the tears, but I think that it's not because he was torn. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's because he felt bad about hurting Marissa. [SPEAKER_00]: This is what makes me difficult. [SPEAKER_00]: He has so much clarity when he comes to other people that when he makes sense, I have to make sure that he's actually making sense because it's like am I agreeing with what is happening right now?
[SPEAKER_00]: Because I do think that's true. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he was torn. [SPEAKER_00]: I just think he's like, eh, kind of hurting someone. [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, do you think he cared? [SPEAKER_01]: No, I kind of thought he did. [SPEAKER_01]: I think he's also someone truth be told that has a lot to unpack.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And he has some deep rooted, I hate using the word issues, but some deep rooted stuff to work through. [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_00]: But I think he, [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I'm all confused because I was going to say I think he did like her, but hearing him talk about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Again, they weren't the highlight of some of the last few episodes, but apparently there was this big kind of fallback or like an issue. [SPEAKER_01]: You didn't feel so. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he did decide that that wasn't her person, which is the activity level being the deciding factor is so insane to me.
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wrap my head around how that was their thing that made them determine that they're completely incompatible as [SPEAKER_01]: a couple for if you're thinking like 40 years to come when one day you're not going to be doing pickleball every day, I just could not wrap my head around that that was their issue, but anyway, apparently they had had this energy shift since then in the last couple of weeks.
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, when I was before I learned that though, I really did think it was genuine and he [SPEAKER_01]: So I took the tears as real and I took it as kind of being torn or, you know, him being sad that it was ending. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's the type to feel bad about making someone feel bad.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I didn't take it as tears because sometimes it does give slightly sociopathic or something. [SPEAKER_01]: And he wouldn't care how someone else is feeling. [SPEAKER_01]: So I took it more as [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't really want it to end or you do form a bond with someone. [SPEAKER_01]: He's spent a long time with you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it is a sad thing for it to end. [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I saw someone online saying that they really thought that he was going to say yes, but because she said no, that he pivoted and said no, but I actually think he was going to say no. [SPEAKER_00]: I just think a lot of these guys could not handle, [SPEAKER_00]: the emotion, the work, and everything that they had to do.
[SPEAKER_00]: And even if it was possible, they were gonna choose the easy way route, the easy way out and be like, yeah, no. [SPEAKER_01]: And my great, because I kept calling BS on the whole. [SPEAKER_01]: I've been trying to find a wife for since I was 18, because if that's the case, then this is a perfect example of, again, she went first and said no.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think he would have said yes. [SPEAKER_01]: And if you want to say yes, it would have been crazy. [SPEAKER_01]: You are what it just solidified that he is the problem, because it's been looking since you've been 18. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I said on one other podcast too. [SPEAKER_01]: Have you been looking since then?
[SPEAKER_01]: This would be a no-brainer, because you like almost everything about her. [SPEAKER_01]: she doesn't work out to your caliber. [SPEAKER_01]: So if you're willing to let that go, then you aren't being serious about looking for a wife since he was 18. [SPEAKER_00]: He isn't a serious. [SPEAKER_00]: If he was really serious, he would have found a wife.
[SPEAKER_00]: He would have been a maybe his first or second divorce, but he would have found a wife if he really wanted to find a wife. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, people are just delusional about what that looks like, so they have all these ideas of [SPEAKER_01]: who will wife's supposed to be and when someone doesn't match up, it's like, oh, well, that's just not the one for me inverses.
[SPEAKER_01]: What they could be doing differently are again being aware of how they even show up in relationships. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's just a lot of delusion that goes on when it comes to dating and what it takes to make relationships. [SPEAKER_00]: For the 1,000 times we have to hear Adam talk about pickleball day, the day that was the worst day of her life, but I'm just mentioning it because when he was talking Courtney's sitting behind him and she's just nodding your head vigorously, you know, behind you like, yeah, yeah, and I agree with you.
[SPEAKER_00]: We get into the pickleball argument and y'all the fact that this is what I wrote was like the fact that this is these two's biggest hill. [SPEAKER_00]: isn't saying to me like do you know the things that life throws at you like the things that you actually fundamental values and stuff and we're still talking about this pickleball workout like you're not you can't be serious like it I was bored and I think in the middle of the argument they sat talking about I was hungry and they happened before you gave me a struggle meal and passes like what is a struggle meal [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they explained that to her and he's like, what's wrong with that?
[SPEAKER_00]: It was like ground turkey and lettuce or something and he's like, that's a healthy meal. [SPEAKER_00]: That's whole, that's whole, that's whole. [SPEAKER_00]: It was like, they don't even agree on that. [SPEAKER_00]: But on decision days, she's like, we have so many things in common. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what are they?
[SPEAKER_00]: I would like to know what these things are. [SPEAKER_00]: He says he wasn't surprised that she said no because they did have a conversation after that day. [SPEAKER_00]: And they did agree that there was a big mismatch in compatibility. [SPEAKER_00]: Which I don't know, that makes sense because I showed you guys how someone shared like, you know, the hotel boats that they went to, that they were barely speaking.
[SPEAKER_00]: That was the camera went off. [SPEAKER_00]: They did not speak to each other on there. [SPEAKER_00]: So now, you know, that makes sense too. [SPEAKER_00]: So past brings up that, you know, he said he was fine with that when they did the matchmaking and it did a flashback because she's like, y'all not going to say we did wrong.
[SPEAKER_00]: And. [SPEAKER_00]: He said he didn't think it was critical, like he's not going to judge people based on their athletic level, and he was like, yeah, at the time, I thought it didn't matter, but currently now he thinks that it matters with someone did remind me that in my preview, I was like, Adam is the only one who seems serious about marriage and, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: What do I have because he's so serious, but now we've learned that to just kind of be his delivery is his kind of a flat to a bathroom or whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I was really glad that Lisa brought that up because that was my biggest thing when he was heartbeat on at the table and talk about my ex did this and that. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like that that's where I kind of call some BS or again, like that's where people fly under the radar through the process and people get mad at the experts for picking them, but then you take you back and see that.
[SPEAKER_01]: He really like braze or like that way that it didn't seem like a big deal. [SPEAKER_01]: And for that to be their biggest thing, I call it BS because you knew you knew that was important to you. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because you can compare it to this ex that you just loved it so much. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know that's just one of those things to me that is so weird how big of a thing it became when they.
[SPEAKER_01]: wanted to really downplay it in the interview. [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's one of the things that they dropped the ball on in the entirety of it all. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think anyone has been asking or allowed him to answer why did he break up with her because he keeps saying that and everyone keeps saying but it broke you broke up for a reason but I want him to say why did he break up and if that was important so which is more important?
[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever reason you guys broke up which he said oh it just [SPEAKER_00]: 100% you know, so that a nurse draws us a timeline, buckle up folks, they they saw each other after decision day and she's like, I have a good story for that. [SPEAKER_00]: They're like, oh, please let us know. [SPEAKER_00]: Decision day was Saturday.
[SPEAKER_00]: He texted that he misses her, she takes her ice cream maker, which she should have left on the curb by the way, but whatever. [SPEAKER_00]: They go over to go watch the TV show, passes all like, does anything more happen to anything more happen? [SPEAKER_00]: They say no, but can I just say, like, I'm not saying the she didn't be friends, but that's a lot of work to do with your ex if nothing's happening, like, [SPEAKER_00]: to go over to take the ice cream maker, to make ice cream, to watch the TV show.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just I could do that with anyone without lugging that across town to his apartment or to his, I don't know, what is he living, a shack, a lake house, I don't know what it is, but to his home. [SPEAKER_00]: She's like, no, nothing happened. [SPEAKER_00]: We're a foot apart. [SPEAKER_00]: We're just being, he's like, I guess we need to talk about what we're doing.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, again, that is a random question for people who are just friends. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, did you read any more into that or was it just me? [SPEAKER_00]: Because I'm like, why would I ask someone who I'm just friends with that we need to talk about what we're doing? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think he was trying to downplay it like they were just friends.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know if he was stunning because his new girl was there, whatever, but there, I feel like it for sure was one of these kind of rebound quick reaction things that you go, you really like this person. [SPEAKER_01]: They did like each other and you go through all this time spending every day with this person getting to know them.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then all of a sudden you say it's done. [SPEAKER_01]: break apart. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure there was kind of this like, you know, bounce back effective, whoa, or, you know, I do miss this person or I am sure there was that element of it. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think that, yeah, it's hard to really get a good account of what happened that night.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think, [SPEAKER_01]: It was this knee jerk reaction that he had where he was like I do actually miss this girl and you know maybe you did want something to come back from it, but just again doesn't have the tools to [SPEAKER_01]: make that happen. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but I think it was, I think it was a quick rebound to realizing that they missed being around each other.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that night, nothing happened. [SPEAKER_00]: I believe that I'm wondering from decision day to that night, in between, something happened because that was not the question asked. [SPEAKER_00]: So technically, it's not a lie, [SPEAKER_00]: If that was someone I wasn't speaking to, I don't know why I'm hung up on her lugging that ice cream maker over it's just really pissing me off like he should have got over it to replace and then why would he ask what are we doing if they're not doing anything.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, because it was and it was a few days after decision day right. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, oh, okay. [SPEAKER_00]: It was a few days. [SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was weeks for some reason. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: The taking it was like all of the stuff she was laying out was literally days apart, but maybe not I might be off to but I was thinking it was like decision day was a Saturday and then this was like the next Wednesday or something.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's true. [SPEAKER_01]: You might pack up. [SPEAKER_01]: So I feel like that's where I was leaning more towards. [SPEAKER_01]: They decided not to stay married, but because they didn't have this animosity towards the other there was this element of like, hey wait, I do miss you like do you want to hang out again and like what are we going to do here are we going to get back together or are we going to is this done done, you know, that element of okay.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, if people try and still date a little bit afterwards, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: That's how I took it. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, that makes sense if it was a few days. [SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was a few weeks for some reason, but I think yeah, it was because they are going to the same Halloween party, which if they were filming October and then Halloween party I'm assuming is October 31st, she went to a pregame and she says the first girl that she talked to has a DM from Adam at 12 on Saturday, which was their decision day.
[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, it's worth 30 minutes. [SPEAKER_00]: It nearly just the next weekend. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's probably his DM. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's all I was thinking it was like Saturday, they hung out Wednesday, this party's Saturday. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, next Saturday. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, yeah, that makes sense.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she texted me screenshots and she was like, we can never speak again. [SPEAKER_00]: Like if this is what you were doing. [SPEAKER_00]: He says he apologizes, they don't talk for like a month. [SPEAKER_00]: Then he texted her again and says like he wants to take her to dinner. [SPEAKER_00]: And then when she gets there, [SPEAKER_00]: And he's just like, I had no idea I had it.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, yes, you did. [SPEAKER_00]: It becomes this whole thing. [SPEAKER_00]: I need to look in the mirror. [SPEAKER_00]: Like I don't check myself out. [SPEAKER_00]: Lisa is like, yeah, you do. [SPEAKER_00]: Like you check some of the mirror. [SPEAKER_00]: Marissa's like, yes, he knew because he put his hand exactly where it was.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, this thing, I didn't even know that was there. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, oh my God. [SPEAKER_01]: He says, sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like the whole battle was whether he knew or not it was there. [SPEAKER_01]: arguing the fact that it's there only a month after decision day.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I was like there missing each other in the on what we're even arguing about here and Adam was so fixated on the, I didn't know it was there. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, cool. [SPEAKER_01]: Why is it there? [SPEAKER_01]: Why are you laid up with someone, you know, you've got to hit you on your neck just essentially weeks after the decision day.
[SPEAKER_00]: So were you in a serious where you actually hurt that it doesn't work out or whatever yeah She's laying it out like first it was a DM that you sent on decision day and then now you have a hikki And then if you have a hikki by someone why are you texting me that you want to take me to dinner like what games are you playing all of them Yes, he was so hung up on he she thought he had it there maliciously or like [SPEAKER_01]: didn't cover it on purpose and wanted her to see it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she's talking about why are you moving like this right after decision day. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, that's true because he was all like, you know, why would I want you to see? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I would be loved above. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, oh, hi. [SPEAKER_00]: We are in two different arguments right here.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's like, you knew we just, I just wanted us to be friends because through the end of this show, I'd already pulled away from intimacy. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, uh, believe me, it's like, you know, Adam and I we've become really good friends. [SPEAKER_00]: Like he's a really cool guy.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is all there's so much. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, funny because I think Pass had been like, Felipe, you have all these looks on your face. [SPEAKER_00]: What do you think he's like, not just like the tea, but we're good friends, we're cool, but he did not tell me any of this. [SPEAKER_00]: And Merisa was like, oh, did he also tell you, he's damn Tory on the hinge.
[SPEAKER_00]: For those of you we add I think this is when they took a ad at break and just made it all dramatic I was just like oh And that's when you see Nick. [SPEAKER_00]: I think that was the one where Nick has these eyes just all out like what what's going on And Adam at this point is just piss.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think we've learned that maybe Adam is this way because he goes from 0 to 100 real quick We saw him really hot with Sean at the table We saw him really hot here like he's just and he says talking on my limited like Courtney [SPEAKER_00]: Just saying a lot of things and he's like you're trying to make it seem like I said something It wasn't even it was just like a high like something like a friendly thing that why would I do it?
[SPEAKER_00]: Believe me, it's one of my good. [SPEAKER_00]: It was a lot of words and Merissa is just like yeah, I didn't say that you didn't know that. [SPEAKER_00]: I was just stating fact that you deemed her Which is true, but it's so annoying because she knows what she's doing, but he deserves it [SPEAKER_00]: because it's like, if you are friends and either way what you're saying, why are you DMing her in hinge?
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I see all my friends all the time and I say something, but yes, this is your good friends quote unquote ex wife. [SPEAKER_00]: You can say hi on Instagram. [SPEAKER_00]: If you guys in a group chat, you can say hi there. [SPEAKER_00]: You can see I'm like, oh, interesting. [SPEAKER_00]: Torrance here, keep on moving.
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't need to say anything. [SPEAKER_00]: Thankfully, someone has the sense to be like, [SPEAKER_00]: Did this happen? [SPEAKER_00]: What do you think is everybody else's having a conversation without her? [SPEAKER_00]: And Tore is like, yeah, he just sent me a thing. [SPEAKER_00]: He was like, hey, stranger, fancy seeing you here.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, oh, did you take it as flirty or friendly? [SPEAKER_00]: Again, like I'm doing my theory that Tore is just mad at the expert. [SPEAKER_00]: She's like, I deleted it. [SPEAKER_00]: I, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my ask me questions. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, oh, my, give me on nothing to go on.
[SPEAKER_00]: But also, hey, stranger. [SPEAKER_01]: I know, I'm not going to put it on him that he was trying to hit on her first head. [SPEAKER_01]: But like I said, there's just other options like either not saying anything and then just here quick message on Instagram, I saw you over on him and child's like going for you or whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was probably one of those that he was not actively trying to hit on her open the door. [SPEAKER_01]: But if he would have got, I'm not, I can't also say that if he would have got another [SPEAKER_01]: that that was at any interest that he would have turned it down. [SPEAKER_00]: I just think it was unnecessary.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because how do you explain what your intent was? [SPEAKER_00]: If you're going to say hi, maybe you was just trying to say, hey, we're both here dating again. [SPEAKER_00]: After everything we mean to, but again, there are other avenues then, you know, here. [SPEAKER_00]: They asked Devon his thoughts and Devon is like, yeah, I'm pleading the fit.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going, I'm like, oh, but when he came to me, he had stuff to say, huh, but when he comes to him, now you're pleading the fit. [SPEAKER_00]: And Devon calmly simply just says, he didn't try to steal my girlfriend. [SPEAKER_01]: When he said that, I don't like, not fire. [SPEAKER_01]: That's when I knew it was at that moment.
[SPEAKER_01]: I knew, oh, this is the kind of reunion we're having today. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was like, wow. [SPEAKER_00]: Because I thought I was like, oh, good point. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even realize that that, you know, he's saying I'm pleading to fit for makeup. [SPEAKER_00]: But when he said that, I was like, [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's it. [SPEAKER_00]: Although I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: What is their relationship now? [SPEAKER_00]: I think what would have helped was kind of understanding what everyone's relationship is now. [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of what we see is what's online. [SPEAKER_00]: We know all the girls you know always hang out and they seek together.
[SPEAKER_00]: and the guys are kind of like in pockets. [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know what it is because if make a thing square friends saying he didn't try to sell my girl bro again a year later like if he thinks he's squashed don't bring it up now because we are going to get into it, you know, when Belle kind of calls out Caitlyn like, [SPEAKER_00]: you know, oh, oh, this is where it is.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is a good segue into where Belle says like there was such a difference and she talks to Caitlyn like between the way that Caitlyn was checking Felipe for Tory and the way that Caitlyn was checking Mecca for Belle. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's at the point and that was what I was thinking the first time where you know Devon said that.
[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, she says, when you were trying to flee Bay, you were all like, I'm so mad at it, you were doing this, like, you know, you could have done this, but when you were with Mecca, you were just like, oh my god, he just chose me, and you're telling me like, maybe he actually did all that, put a hair behind her ear, and I was like, speak on it, Belle, because those are facts.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I didn't know if they were going to bring up the whole Mecca, Kate, and thing. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm glad, like she took matters into her own hands and kind of just like brought it up, because their section had gone by, [SPEAKER_00]: Talk about if you're that bit. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I don't know any thoughts on that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I like I like that she said something especially because that kind of [SPEAKER_01]: affirmed for it. [SPEAKER_01]: I think the audience was trying to understand did that bother her or maybe yeah because I definitely have appreciation for that that sometimes even the the nanny cams all of that how they chop it up can create more of a narrative than people were feeling in real life like maybe that well didn't really maybe it maybe the series of events was different and it didn't really play out like that and look like that.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it was kind of [SPEAKER_01]: validating for the audience to know, okay, we weren't tripping like that is something that, because that's something that would have bothered me 100% And so I thought it was good that she addressed that too and just put it out there because sometimes [SPEAKER_01]: If even if there is no malicious attention and some intent, sometimes you will do just have to understand you also can't really move like that necessarily or you just have to be more mindful of how you're moving so I thought it was good and she did it in a respectful way and all of that but.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was glad she said something. [SPEAKER_00]: I am too because those who know know that Belle was holding back and there was more than she was saying in that scene but you don't want to be the one to bring it up and everyone gets on you. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not worth everyone getting on you for speaking your truth on that but if you know you know even I'm not gonna get into it because we see it all the time reality TV we're hoping for a change.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is not happening and here we are so [SPEAKER_00]: So, um, yes, bell continues and bell is all like it was flirtatious. [SPEAKER_00]: It was giving Love Island and if we're doing that best line of the night, I would do you just tell me, I would have told Devon, come come come Devon, and then the audience was like a closet, closet closet closet closet.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, like that too, I think, especially because you were floating out there like, well, maybe Bell and Devon should have been, you know, tried something out or whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: So, [SPEAKER_01]: I can't go as so far to say that, but I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: He went to Sydney, Sweetie, but go ahead.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know, I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not even really, probably realistic, but definitely was. [SPEAKER_01]: gratifying and you know, you know, there's just I have a little bit of pettiness in me. [SPEAKER_01]: So I like stuff like that because I feel like that's probably something I would have said to in that moment.
[SPEAKER_00]: Caitlyn apologizes, I will say yes, Belle was saying all of that. [SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, she was also saying like, but it's fine. [SPEAKER_00]: I love you. [SPEAKER_00]: It's fine. [SPEAKER_00]: I love you. [SPEAKER_00]: I love you. [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know if it's just, again, I know that she's just trying to Belle in one scene in the retreat said.
[SPEAKER_00]: I, this is why I don't want to address things, you know, publicly. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want decided me to show out. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want it. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, and I said it during that episode, she doesn't want to be labeled as, you know, the angry black woman who's making a scene and draw that so I don't know if that was in play here, I don't want it to seem like, you know, I'm calling her and making her uncomfortable because it's very easy, you know, to go to that, but I did kind of wish you stood on business that this is what I didn't have to add the 1000 I love you's like, you, you felt how you felt and you were justified in how you felt, but Caitlyn, you know, apologizes and says we've talked about it and we've set
[SPEAKER_00]: I remember I said, my perception of that night was different. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's like, you can't throw the I love these in there because need someone to actually because then it does kind of still discredit or soften how you were feeling a little bit to air so you can be like, oh, I saw differently like, of course you did, but again, that's the apologies.
[SPEAKER_01]: how, like, how you made someone feel about it, not what you feel like your intentions were, or how it happened for you, because you did it. [SPEAKER_00]: So, right, you're doing you already thought it was fine, or I am assuming, but I mean, it looks like they've talked about it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, of course she's my gonna say, oh yeah, I was flirting with you guys.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But I mean, I think the thing was it looks like they've talked about it before, but this is a disservice to us at the reunion. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you've talked about it And that's what mecha was trying to say like we've talked about it. [SPEAKER_00]: Where is this animosity?
[SPEAKER_00]: But like you said then [SPEAKER_00]: She's seeing it again. [SPEAKER_00]: She's feeling it again and a lot of it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, she is responding to what people have been saying, you know about her and she's feeling maybe misunderstood or misrepresented like, oh, I'm a person who stands up for myself and she's making up for lost time here.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's definitely funny being on both sides of the coin because I know how it was being someone on the show. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, [SPEAKER_01]: This is my real life, you know, I don't know when you owe anyone an explanation this in that, but then now being a viewer, I'm like, we need answers, we need to talk about this, this, like all these things we saw, we need that cleared up.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's because now I've seen been on both sides of it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and it's been a year later too. [SPEAKER_00]: So maybe, and you know, Caitlyn likes to feel like, oh, that was blindsided. [SPEAKER_00]: I thought we were good. [SPEAKER_00]: So why were you saying this again?
[SPEAKER_00]: So I understand what she's doing that, but we weren't there. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, oh, even more, I forgot she said this, besides yeah, I love you. [SPEAKER_00]: She's like, oh, I've seen meca outside the show, so I know he was putting the razzle dazzle on you. [SPEAKER_00]: So again, making excuses as to why that happened.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I know because he did it to me too, and I'm like, yeah, but you were married. [SPEAKER_00]: I just, right, you know. [SPEAKER_00]: So um that was it and I think they asked Marissa if she's seeing anyone and she's like I'm not dating anyone But I started two businesses and then it's a whole thing about I still believe in love I don't know if it'll happen for me, but we'll see but Marissa will be fine Honestly, if they let them do crossovers, I'm wondering if we'll see Marissa [SPEAKER_00]: In Perfect Match, I was trying to think who's going to make the leap to Perfect Match, but we'll see what happens.
[SPEAKER_00]: Adam says he apologized to Marissa multiple times and, you know, the question was, do you have a doubles partner? [SPEAKER_00]: That's how they asked them, you know. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's going on an honor by apologizing this and Paul is like, okay, and the doubles partner and he's like, yes, I met Lizzy and then pointed her out in the audience.
[SPEAKER_00]: I met her in Amsterdam at a woofest assault show. [SPEAKER_00]: Guys, if you remember, love is blind. [SPEAKER_00]: Woofest assault was a story line too. [SPEAKER_00]: Devlin, no, I think that was this name. [SPEAKER_00]: Devlin, no whoever went to Austin, then gay is on Airbnb, had to stay in somebody else's places.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, this man, stop going to his shows. [SPEAKER_00]: All of them, his coming up in Kinetic stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, and she's out there and they're asking her the internet is brutal. [SPEAKER_00]: Because the internet is like Lizzie's that really his girlfriend. [SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't look like she works out She didn't do anything.
[SPEAKER_00]: You guys know you do not talk about people. [SPEAKER_00]: You do not know, you know Her athletic capabilities, but the question now more importantly is that people are thinking that she's not really his girlfriend That he just brought someone he brought a slim he brought a fake girlfriend [SPEAKER_00]: Just to have so because Marissa said it and everyone's like there must be truth to it, but I don't know what it is But this girl also looks a little kind of I don't know she's like I Don't understand how sweet as most genuine was whatever guy like he's so different This is also crazy to me.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like when did you meet again three months ago? [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I literally broke down in my notes. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, now what did I bring this lady out here? [SPEAKER_01]: It just went pretty good chewed up like this. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like literally 30 seconds and she just got eight of it and like did not look great to the public and all that stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: I will have her. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I couldn't have it. [SPEAKER_01]: It just gonna be on her ass. [SPEAKER_01]: Who knows if they're even still together. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, that's a lot of the, just doing a lot just for him to say that he had someone. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it might, [SPEAKER_01]: It might be a thing, I feel like they probably are together. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I've just only been three months, and... [SPEAKER_01]: It was very interesting to me because one of the things she got chewed up about is kind of making it sound like the editing Made it seem like it was a real relationship.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how she said. [SPEAKER_00]: Let me let me quote what she said She's like I don't understand what's going on when I watch all this stuff and Production did a good job at making it super real and did two thumbs up I was all like huh, what would you say and Paul is like respectively?
[SPEAKER_00]: I disagree, because what you're doing is mischaracterizing all the work that we have done. [SPEAKER_01]: As I was saying, man, she came on here for 30 seconds and it's just about grilled up on the internet. [SPEAKER_01]: But I guess in her defense, you know, I don't know that lady, but [SPEAKER_01]: She probably does feel that way because I guarantee Adam is like telling her that, oh, it wasn't really over, he could be telling.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and yeah, what sent him to see him saying, even going all the way down, like I wasn't really even feeling, you know, I just kind of did it or I saw it. [SPEAKER_01]: I saw it through. [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't really a real relationship. [SPEAKER_01]: I really feeling her or didn't, I never really grew these feelings for her.
[SPEAKER_01]: It could be anything. [SPEAKER_01]: And so when she's watching it, [SPEAKER_01]: it's with that bias. [SPEAKER_01]: And so, what does everyone have so much smoke for him? [SPEAKER_01]: He's so great to me. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like he could be this whole different person to her, because she's only known him for three months.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so, that to me, she probably must be in her truth. [SPEAKER_01]: And she probably didn't think it's real, but it's probably because what Adam's telling her on the side. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, it's just a TV show. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: To make himself look better. [SPEAKER_01]: And so, that's why she was in a tough position.
[SPEAKER_00]: But also if Adam's thing is like he needs to be with someone who's like so athletic and so whatever They haven't played pickleball right did I beat that right because he broke his arm [SPEAKER_00]: So we don't know, like, maybe they don't, yeah, I don't know if I interpreted that wrong.
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they played a little, but to my knowledge, I thought because she kept saying, when that sling comes out, I'm going to show him whatever. [SPEAKER_00]: So if you said, that's what you need for a relationship, but now you're having a relationship without it. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is one of the things I said during this season.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you're biggest thing is pickleball and you're like, oh, I want to ski until I'm 60 and I'm 70 and I was like, have you not been in real life? [SPEAKER_00]: anything could happen to you. [SPEAKER_00]: So now, thank God, it's just a broken arm, allegedly. [SPEAKER_00]: But you can't do the things that you want.
[SPEAKER_00]: You build your whole relationship on playing pickleball or snowing. [SPEAKER_00]: What if you again, God forbid, have to have an amputation? [SPEAKER_00]: Or you can't do that or whatever. [SPEAKER_00]: Then what? [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: And so for that to be the hill on. [SPEAKER_01]: on what someone's going to determine, whether this is the relationship for them or not, on that is just so wild to me.
[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe it's, you know, for him, it seems like it's all like a mentality thing. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, he has something going on in his brain that is making him push himself like that. [SPEAKER_01]: And he even called it an addictive personality. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe just her having that, because Marissa wasn't giving that kind of energy [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, battle you in sports all day and stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, maybe it just literally is having someone who has the mentality. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, has that mentality and that willingness to be competitive like that? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we'll find out because these people will share everything. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I don't doesn't speak a lot online though.
[SPEAKER_00]: I will say that. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I haven't seen a lot of stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of stuff that comes up. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't been on a lot of their pages yet. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, as I was trying to not. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, built things. [SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of the stuff that I do see just kind of comes up in the algorithm.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know if I've really seen anything. [SPEAKER_01]: on or from him. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I went to his page here that was like, wait, is he still on here? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he is, but he's just doesn't, you know, post that much. [SPEAKER_00]: We round up their segment. [SPEAKER_00]: We Sean doing the math.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's just like, wait, if you guys have been here, been together three months, but he was asking Marissa for dinner, and how many months, well, has it been, and defense was because, you know, [SPEAKER_00]: Adam and Shawn don't have the best relationship because Adam was like, I met her. [SPEAKER_00]: I just had dating her immediately I could still do whatever I wanted, but it's still goes back to the same mentality thing but anyways But yeah, they squash it.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're just like, okay, we're just gonna end it here and move on. [SPEAKER_00]: So that was that, you know with them All right, I've taken a quick break and then we have Courtney and Nick coming up All right [SPEAKER_00]: past that's with court my girl direct quote that's what she said that's her girlfriend real for real because I'm just waiting for the expose that they related or something because he has to be the only thing so Paul asked him if being media savvy played a role in him not being vulnerable and things and he's like no and I'm not going to apologize for being thoughtful I'm just a thoughtful person I think before I talk and online he's been saying like honestly I've had no trauma in my life I'm not going to like make up
[SPEAKER_00]: and god bless him like if you've never had any trauma they do exist i think a lot of people are just full of trauma that they it's rare but he says he says now i do maps 20 is my trauma so thanks i have something to talk about now and he was like a lot of people here could probably think before they speak and he's like i just honestly don't think he played any role in us not getting any deeper to be honest [SPEAKER_00]: She says the same story.
[SPEAKER_00]: I did not create a space for you to be there. [SPEAKER_00]: I wanted you to be vulnerable and to be honest. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm an alpha. [SPEAKER_00]: And I think you just let me push you over. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, we're gonna allow this to continue even in the reunion. [SPEAKER_00]: And Nick says, it was tough.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I shared my feelings. [SPEAKER_00]: And then I said, and then I wouldn't feel heard. [SPEAKER_00]: And then you just yell at me. [SPEAKER_00]: Share your feelings. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just like, I just did. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's for the slightest of seconds. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I was thinking that she was going to kind of take that approach that she had done some reflection and when she started off with the I realized because she started with that I realized I didn't create a space where you could be vulnerable and that'd be the perfect time for like period like leave it at that, but then of course, just literally it's just.
[SPEAKER_01]: We can't go too long without there being some kind of backhand. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like thing, yeah, just like I'm an alpha. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's inferring that he's a beta or like he wasn't able to handle. [SPEAKER_01]: There's still isn't that like accountability of how poorly she showed up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and so it still just has to [SPEAKER_01]: there has to be some self reflection and we can't just always fall back on the this is just how I am. [SPEAKER_01]: We got to take it or leave it. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just unfiltered. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm bold. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's not what it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's not what I would call this. [SPEAKER_00]: I knew she wasn't. [SPEAKER_00]: She didn't ask me anything and people said, do you think you were rude today? [SPEAKER_00]: And she was like, guys, [SPEAKER_00]: Of course, I was, but it's just who I am. [SPEAKER_00]: I was just trying to, but so we're not getting anything out of, she's been on a polygetic the whole time.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's never been like, I could have shown her better. [SPEAKER_00]: I could have, no. [SPEAKER_00]: So, and everyone's calling her, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: Because the next thing is who here thinks that Courtney was rude to Nick and none of the women race their hands. [SPEAKER_00]: Completely understand.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a solidarity thing, but, you know, Bill wanted to, because the whole time Bill wanted to say something, either they cut it off or they were just like, [SPEAKER_00]: But for none of the women to race their hands. [SPEAKER_00]: I just you could be like court. [SPEAKER_00]: I love you, but you know because they didn't see some of the things, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: But when you see that even if it was to dinner guys, I know that lady was objectively rude and I won't care if you're friends. [SPEAKER_01]: It was not up for interpretation. [SPEAKER_01]: She was rude. [SPEAKER_01]: And so That that was the part I was kind of like okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess no one wants to raise their hands, but [SPEAKER_01]: Again, like you said, we could call a spade a spade like you're my girl, but you were rude.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's we blank period disrespectful rude is the word and it's not it's not the bold and the unfiltered it was rude and. [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone could see that but her and so yeah, I've no one's going to hold it to it. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's why she's going to continue to be the way she is.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that she's part of her way from that was like, Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's a boy's powerhouse. [SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, let the boys be boys. [SPEAKER_00]: Like you guys are going to back at your the rope. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, Did you watch it? [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it gives her she finds a way to squeak by and be able to fall back on something.
[SPEAKER_01]: So now it's just, of course, all the guy is a guy thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Of course, all the guys, they're just going to be on next side because they're guys. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why I'm like, even if just if one girl could just break it down to or like that, I do think that is the trajectory that I'm seeing a lot on reality TV now.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not saying like you shouldn't like, [SPEAKER_00]: Support your girls, you know, or your guys, but there's a lot of divide now where it's like boys versus girls right and everyone is just standing up for it And then supporting things, but I do think there's a balance in which you like oh, I can support you whatever like hey, but because I do think the boys did it in some way now their motivations not necessarily the best [SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, they did, they did call them out, you know, when they needed to be like in the retreat.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think, you know, camera was calling them out, or every now and then, uh, for Felipe. [SPEAKER_00]: And even sometimes, Mecca, when he has a flash of really short, for Sean later on is like, hey, you can't say that or you can't do that. [SPEAKER_00]: But so you're not helping. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you think you're supporting, but you're not helping if the person's been realized that what they're doing is not.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: At the end of the day, you still got to keep it real. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's. [SPEAKER_01]: She was rude. [SPEAKER_01]: Point blank, period. [SPEAKER_01]: There's no way you can be real with your friend and not acknowledge that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So she keeps saying that's why I am is not okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: Felipe is shaking his head. [SPEAKER_00]: She's like, why are you shaking your head? [SPEAKER_00]: Like if you were like, he stayed around. [SPEAKER_00]: It was not that bad. [SPEAKER_00]: If it was that bad, he would have left. [SPEAKER_00]: And then, to me, the worst thing in the entire reunion, past turned to Nick and he's like, yeah, why did you stay?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I wasn't feeling that. [SPEAKER_00]: That was not good for many, many reasons because these are the things not the same level, not at all or whatever, but genders, you know, reversed when we have people who are in not so great situations, and everyone's just like, well, why did you stay?
[SPEAKER_00]: Why I think you know, I'm like, and I think it's the fact that they kept it in. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know, it's just, it truly is, [SPEAKER_01]: at not once, even if we want to be nice and take the productive route of unpacking why Courtney is the way she is and that's even better route but to completely take any of the onus off her and just again asking why he stayed.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually was really proud of his response because that's why he stayed because he signed up to get married and yes this was a huge red flag but he told himself he wasn't going to run, which again is the right mindset to have coming [SPEAKER_01]: you were conditioned to find red flags when it comes to dating.
[SPEAKER_01]: So to to look past that and distill kind of try and be in it, that's the right way. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm glad he said that, but I don't even feel like he should have had to. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that, like, that shouldn't have had to be explained. [SPEAKER_01]: No, no one was gonna be like, yeah, Nick, why did you stay?
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, no, why would she act in like that? [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it's not only the questions I need answers. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, Paul also tried to back him up to be like, yes, you did say that and, you know, you did, you know, stick to your word on that. [SPEAKER_00]: And that has been my whole gripped anti-racies and why is no one told her that she cannot talk to anyone this way.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is not okay at all. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, they bring up the whole. [SPEAKER_00]: You said the hottest guy in the group. [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone was like that was wild. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, that's disgusting to see. [SPEAKER_00]: I am from a partner and my girl is like, because I agree.
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, oh, I'm disgusting. [SPEAKER_00]: That's great. [SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, they need to say you are disgusting. [SPEAKER_00]: They said like saying that. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you're doing it again. [SPEAKER_01]: You're doing it again. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's like twisting people's words and trying to jump down, you know, someone's throat for saying something.
[SPEAKER_00]: Then pass is like, yeah, you know, for a second, we thought about putting Courtney and Adam together and Nick and Marissa Adam was like, yeah, I definitely definitely, no, he says definitely not I would have left after week and I was like, I told y'all that that man doesn't even know she exists.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like he's not like a fan of her and then he doesn't stop there. [SPEAKER_00]: He's already mad. [SPEAKER_00]: He has to put it somewhere. [SPEAKER_00]: He's like, she's also a picture ball. [SPEAKER_00]: Like she was rude, she was demeaning, and all this stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: And then, of course, she starts to cry because things get hard.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not crying. [SPEAKER_00]: And they all huddled up to defend her. [SPEAKER_00]: Like all of them were just on this thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you can't say that she's rude and demeaning, and then you're rude to her. [SPEAKER_00]: They can't linger like, is that like she woke up? [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, fuck you, Nick, I'm still going to cry.
[SPEAKER_00]: But technically, I think Nick wanted to say, no, really. [SPEAKER_00]: That is exactly what she did. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying that on threads or something like, actually, that's exactly what she did. [SPEAKER_00]: exactly what she did and everyone's just like oh she wasn't this that guys I don't know if you noticed but Nicky and Belle did not say anything just FYI because what we did not talk about is January 6 and we're not going to say anything about that but yeah they're just like my new my business drinking my water and I don't ask me to say nothing about this [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, um, she, um, Cam just tells him like, you know, just apologize, don't, you know, say anything.
[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, I didn't mean to, I was just trying to stay facts like, no, I don't want to be with her. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was going to be there, um, they did, I think he apologized to her. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he did apologize because we were trying to apologize and she's like, I know she's like, I don't think it's a heart like I know I'm not a mean person and I'm sorry you felt that way and I'm like, [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what is happening here?
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Paul steps in to say like he looks like you can dish it, but you can't take it. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm glad, you know, that he says that. [SPEAKER_00]: And then Paul just wraps it up in a weird way. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's just like, well, the good thing is like, you have learned.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, wait, what? [SPEAKER_00]: She has nothing about this shows that she's learned, but I guess we got to wrap it up. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm fine with it, too, because it's aggravating watching Courtney. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like [SPEAKER_01]: All season that that couple was just that I cannot remember one enjoyable part.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so watch. [SPEAKER_01]: There's a viewer. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Paul asked them a day dating Nick jokes like, yeah, I started dating that take a break because I really was traumatized by this. [SPEAKER_00]: I say nitpicking. [SPEAKER_00]: Can I touch here? [SPEAKER_00]: Can I do this?
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure. [SPEAKER_00]: So he's not going to do it. [SPEAKER_00]: But then he went to therapy. [SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't tell if he was serious. [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly. [SPEAKER_00]: And now he's dating and now he will be on Marita for sight since 21 and everyone laughs and everyone's going to be laughing when they see me again, man, he's like, I'm like, I don't know you.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then they asked for today and she was like, yes, I'm seeing Alex and he's also in the audience and Alex got a little bit of flavor in him. [SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, [SPEAKER_00]: Good for you. [SPEAKER_00]: It's cute. [SPEAKER_00]: It's actually cute. [SPEAKER_00]: So they met at Pickleball.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if that was a joke on a seat. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't care that that was it. [SPEAKER_00]: That was it for their segment and that's it for Quartin A. [SPEAKER_01]: Correct. [SPEAKER_01]: You just still a little delu Lou about how she showed up, but and that's it helps people sleep better at night.
[SPEAKER_00]: I suppose yep, skated all right on through like one that [SPEAKER_00]: Alright, Caitlyn and Devon, I forgot or didn't realize that Devon wore his suit from the wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, either. [SPEAKER_01]: He's definitely dropped some weight. [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like probably from not playing rugby anymore.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, definitely is a lot more slim down. [SPEAKER_01]: So I think that added to it. [SPEAKER_01]: Cause I didn't realize either. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, he has a nice suit on. [SPEAKER_01]: But I did meet him together. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think the whole look the little different, maybe just from the studio lights versus like outdoor wedding.
[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, I did gone, yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was, it was a lot of it was a whole new look. [SPEAKER_01]: Besides from the suit. [SPEAKER_00]: He's want to pass his baby. [SPEAKER_00]: She's just like, oh, he looks so handsome. [SPEAKER_00]: So, for the review that missed it, I mean, he's been modeling.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's some of his stuff on his Instagram. [SPEAKER_00]: You can see he walking the runway. [SPEAKER_00]: There's also rumors that he had a girlfriend the whole time. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what it's true. [SPEAKER_00]: All of this is allegedly. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just a channel sharing that to you guys.
[SPEAKER_00]: She Caitlin said that she came in private, like she came in wanting to model the things that she thought was a part of a healthy relationship which is making your conflicts private and not talking about it, you know, in public because Pass had said like you did a total 180 you were on it on the wedding and you just turned around that that is fact and Lisa very delicately is like, yes, I understand that but you happened to do this on the public [SPEAKER_00]: for him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, TV and Caitlyn says it was a public forum, but it was real for me. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what does that mean? [SPEAKER_00]: I don't, it wasn't fake anyways. [SPEAKER_00]: But she says she felt like her heart was fully in it, but there was a lot of whiplash and she just wasn't really good at the bouncing back because they'll have a fight and Devon will bounce back and she was still really in front of it.
[SPEAKER_00]: They talk about the whole green light to go ahead and Devon was like, listen, [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, allegedly she gave me a green light, but it came after a red light orange light. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even know what the light was. [SPEAKER_00]: I asked if they had the same relationship on camera and off camera.
[SPEAKER_00]: And at the same time, both of them were like, yeah, what is each other off camera? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, we will put it in. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's so, so they'll say what, you know, some of the stuff she says in terms of how she interprets her relationship will sound, yeah, good fine, you know, okay, you know, want to handle things in private and all this stuff, but then they'll say stuff like they make his sense of Mexico or they didn't even see each other off camera.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, [SPEAKER_01]: I just don't like that. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like there's this narrative that Devon was just like blowing stuff out of proportion and you have to require too much and to, you know, aggressive with things and it's just like, [SPEAKER_01]: Then you hear some of the stuff, it's she'll even say it.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not just him that he interpreted things wrong. [SPEAKER_01]: So that it's this big disconnect and I kind of just came to terms with the fact that maybe they just truly viewed the and approach the relationship completely differently. [SPEAKER_01]: But I just know that. [SPEAKER_01]: It was not just him blowing things out of proportion and having two high expectations.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and kiss at all and they didn't even hardly see each other off camera. [SPEAKER_01]: That's not no one will get me to say that Devon was doing too much and expecting too much. [SPEAKER_00]: I just don't know what is true or not. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's where I'm struggling because and when she said she had with flash I was like I as a viewer also had with flash because in one moment I'm like you guys are progressing then honestly when he said they had in kissants Mexico that was a shock to me.
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even know that and then you come back then it's like oh this pillow for it. [SPEAKER_00]: in between the pillows and then there's like, oh, you don't tell someone when you're leaving the house. [SPEAKER_00]: I just, I don't know, there was just too much that I didn't know what is or what wasn't.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Paul and Paul was like, where did we, we as experts? [SPEAKER_00]: Where did we go wrong? [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, why are you asking them? [SPEAKER_00]: Why didn't you ask that question, the Tory andfully thing? [SPEAKER_00]: You know what, I was asking this couple. [SPEAKER_00]: Specifically, David is like, oh, we have different sense of humor and, you know, [SPEAKER_00]: That was the only thing that they kind of picked up on and then maybe like they were different, they just had different approaches, you know, to relationship and then was kicking us like I would not have wanted to do it with anyone else like you know he was great and you know, I'm not going to take that away from him.
[SPEAKER_00]: and they ask, are you seeing somebody, she is seeing someone, she's in love, she's met the person of her life, but he is at his best friends wedding, which is why he's not here. [SPEAKER_00]: Because honestly, these people are bold, bringing these people into the audience right now. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's too early, it's too soon.
[SPEAKER_00]: We get a montage of the whole cast doing like all the things that they said they wouldn't do for love and it's just doing silly things. [SPEAKER_00]: And I usually [SPEAKER_00]: but I like things like this where it breaks up the intensity and it's just fun and you're doing fun stuff and it's like okay there were some good times you know when we did this okay they saved the best for last because why not Nikki and Sean and the first question is like when you got to the altar how did you not realize that this was your husband she's like [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is the most asked about questions and I've seen online.
[SPEAKER_00]: She got there and she just, what was said that she was told that, oh, they said there was all these things that they told them that we're gonna do about the wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: So she just started was one of the, what is it called? [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she thought it was the official, but she thought it was one of the things the producers were putting together because she'd heard stuff about the weddings.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so she just stood there and thought that he hadn't come down the aisle and she now said, [SPEAKER_01]: plus the way he was dressed my sister and I were like wait so that was real. [SPEAKER_01]: I just knew that was editing. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess maybe that is my small like a 2% of me is thinking if it was really spliced in I don't know that they can say or should say oh that was just editing.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, sometimes just do. [SPEAKER_01]: But she seemed like the way he was dressed, solidified that she didn't know exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: She went now, she went down her whole frame of thinking. [SPEAKER_00]: So I think that I could not believe that was real.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they were going to put that in. [SPEAKER_00]: They were like, you're not going to put that on us. [SPEAKER_00]: You are going to. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like that was just the first initial jab ever because also then who was the other person at the end of the aisle like I don't know I don't buy now again like a jab at his looks like hang the way it is to speak in jabs I mean, Sean is like a bigger off offender, but we cannot like we just said earlier like you can like someone but you got to call them out like [SPEAKER_00]: She, jib, jab, tits for tats, both of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: You can not make a sentence. [SPEAKER_00]: It's with a smile, but they're jabbing at each other. [SPEAKER_00]: Because you really didn't have to say plus the way he was dressed. [SPEAKER_00]: If you just say, oh, I thought he was the official. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, if they say, well, even he is nice talks, okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: But to offer up that, that was a job. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say the edit that we saw between the decision day and reunion did not have Nikki looking great. [SPEAKER_01]: And it was she was looking kind of nasty. [SPEAKER_01]: Just with some of the stuff she was saying. [SPEAKER_01]: Like it just doesn't help to me.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was never able to, yeah, completely beyond one side of the relationship, the entire season and I feel like that really just to me, yeah, kind of even the playing field, just like it, it, [SPEAKER_01]: put a lot of it more back on her or just opened up so now like there's so much discourse or now that's going to be all the talks online is just oh dang I can see what's I know what what Sean's talking about or I don't know yeah I don't know a lot of people were saying they're two sides of the same coin [SPEAKER_00]: I just, it's big, maybe they're too alike.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was one time where say two Leo's, like it's just two people fighting for power there and not wanting to back down. [SPEAKER_00]: Even though she did try, they just don't work either way, no matter what it is. [SPEAKER_00]: Felipe says, listen, it was painfully obvious that she is not attracted to him and he brings up the whole bath and the group therapy and that she actually looked disgusted, which is true because that was the same one where I said, guys, experts, [SPEAKER_00]: say something, do something so he said that he feels like you know because she wasn't physically attracted to him that made Sean act out and he was still trying to prove that he can still get this girl and he's like sorry like you have almost 20 years on me but you kept making really uncomfortable sexual comments that was so hard to watch and I'm like
[SPEAKER_00]: If you didn't call it out to me, people had to have an age. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I was curious if that was all stuff that you picked up. [SPEAKER_01]: in person, or if it was from watching some of the facts. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a combination of both, because even during the show, they would make faces, but there's also stuff that we're in preview all through the season that kept saying, they do not know about mutual masturbation gate.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, watching, I mean, maybe they talked, but seeing it is different, seeing him come out his robe, singing, we are one unopened, that's a whole visual, you know, you can't explain to somebody else. [SPEAKER_00]: So Nicki mentions like yes, he was not physically my type, but I did say that there were other qualities that I would look for that we know would make me You know, look that like to look for other things that are more important for me like being compassionate having integrity kindness those are not key strengths for him [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm saying. [SPEAKER_01]: She was throwing the she was throwing the low blows and she was throwing them one after another like you again she was to me showing up as someone who is also just been reading the comments and had a battery in her back from people you know yeah supporting her and yeah now his flaws she just had it up to here because I think Sean who didn't know you [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, oh yeah, let me let's not give you a twist that you can definitely was annoying and also just you don't necessarily expect like cheap shots and low blows back from guys a lot of times to you know so I think that that was off putting to people to was just like he was really he was ready to
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he said that he included his friends and family, and that was not included. [SPEAKER_00]: He was mad about that. [SPEAKER_00]: It was not on the show that he mentioned all of it, and she says like, that is one of the good things about him, like, you know, like he, you know, when she saw him and his element with his family, because he included her in it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But then ultimately, she did not feel psychological safety with him. [SPEAKER_00]: And she canceled the meet-up with her mother. [SPEAKER_00]: She made it seem like it was one time. [SPEAKER_00]: And, [SPEAKER_00]: He was saying like he was multiple times, that there were multiple times he tried to connect with their mom.
[SPEAKER_00]: Mom, I think Paul asked him like if you had met her mom or mom if you had met him, what would you have said? [SPEAKER_00]: She said she would have said protect her heart, but she didn't see any of that with him. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's a lot that she could say, but she's not gonna say it, she's gonna keep it cute.
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's just gonna be quiet right now. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, mama, it's reunion. [SPEAKER_00]: Say it. [SPEAKER_00]: She said, but, um, [SPEAKER_00]: He says she says the level of disrespect that she saw, like he did not show up for her and she's just gonna leave it at that. [SPEAKER_00]: Then he says, I'm sorry, that's what you feel.
[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't matter what comes out of the shons mouth. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just, and even Adam whispers to her, like, of course he's gonna say, sorry, you feel that way. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, I tried multiple times to get in touch with you. [SPEAKER_00]: And at this point, everyone is ruling their eyes, especially Caitlyn Kayling is who's like in direct eyesight in front of him.
[SPEAKER_00]: And you can just see her like, oh my god, I'm like, yeah, we're on my camera. [SPEAKER_00]: Good show myself. [SPEAKER_00]: But this is what they do every dinner party when he speaks because he's just throwing digs. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's saying things about the mom like I tried to talk to you, like when things happen in my family, I process it with my family, but she wants to do it all by herself.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Nick is like, can we cut him off? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is crazy. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, it's a TV show. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, he wants to say, like, she didn't, he found out that she didn't tell her family about the process. [SPEAKER_00]: And when he was done, he was like, that was a whole lot of BS.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, he, that was a lot of words that meant nothing and it landed nowhere. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, what are you trying to do? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, you're trying to manage my mom, plain and simple. [SPEAKER_00]: I was not proud of you as a partner and I was not going to show you out to my family.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, so I was glad she said that because so at the end of the day, that's what it is and so that's I guess my only problem is, you know, putting in the psychological safety part, I feel like what it was, is she just wasn't really feeling him like that which is valid, but you got to just say that and I know yes and so I think [SPEAKER_01]: You know, now she's sane because I didn't feel safe with you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's why you didn't meet my family. [SPEAKER_01]: This wasn't proud. [SPEAKER_01]: And my other theory is that, you know, probably the first few weeks when they were fireworks fireworks. [SPEAKER_01]: She probably was drag in this man to her mom. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, the terrible stuff, he found this nice, the terrible part of this net.
[SPEAKER_01]: So how do you really come back from that? [SPEAKER_01]: So that was my thing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, the whole was kind of dug to where that's why, how do you bring this person [SPEAKER_01]: that you've been talking all this stuff about, see your mom, and then have it be normal. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think it was just to the point of no return.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why they couldn't meet up. [SPEAKER_01]: And there is always that theory that you're not supposed to tell your friends and family, just all the dirt from your relationships that's hanging on to. [SPEAKER_01]: They're not around when you guys make up and so they don't then bring their viewpoint of this person full circle.
[SPEAKER_01]: They can only remember the best stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: And so I think it got to that point, [SPEAKER_01]: versus the, but what, but I don't know what she was telling Shawn in the moment, but I was getting that that there was like mixed messages or mixed stories on why they weren't meeting.
[SPEAKER_01]: When the root of it was she just wasn't proud and just didn't want to bring him around. [SPEAKER_00]: The I agree and I'm surprised that Shawn could read the room and on the flip side, I'm curious to know what he was telling his family. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and to get on Shawn's case too, [SPEAKER_01]: That whole, like, first of all, he cut Nikki off in the last episode, talking about, I don't need a dissertation.
[SPEAKER_01]: When that's, this piece is great. [SPEAKER_01]: This is always a long explanation, but that was the thing to, where he messes up is when it's his turn to take accountability. [SPEAKER_01]: He also goes into, [SPEAKER_01]: a lengthy defense mode and explains where he was coming from, which again, in the moment isn't necessarily wrong because it's his, how he perceived things.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he's explaining that, but it's just always very poorly timed and poorly placed. [SPEAKER_01]: And so people are going to take that as he's shifting blame. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it kind of is what he's doing. [SPEAKER_01]: But again, it's just always [SPEAKER_01]: in that moment, he's just supposed to say, sorry.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I made you, not sorry that you felt that way. [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry that I did something to make you feel that way. [SPEAKER_01]: And it would go over so much smoother. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and also if he's not adding digs to it, because in the lengthiness, there's also digs, and sometimes he's just wrong timing, because he says something like, I talked to my family when something happens, you decide that you want to protect your family, [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you did air quotes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly, again, it's how the package is delivered that is the issue, because the piece is that you can pull out of there. [SPEAKER_01]: I am someone that is really close with my family and I do appreciate what they can bring to a relationship and like the help I can get and kind of talking through things with my family.
[SPEAKER_01]: That is important to me again with boundaries around that. [SPEAKER_01]: I can't then turn it or phrase it in a way that because you don't do that then it's a problem or you know what I mean like it's fine for that to be important to him and for that to be how he handles things, but then yeah it is kind of the cheap shots that it's envelope in yeah that of course no one's going to receive that anybody trying to hear what you've got to say Sean because of how you're saying it and how it's delivered yeah and if message is okay yeah it is Sean man [SPEAKER_00]: He says he won't invalidate her feelings and she's like give my mom a full proper apology to your point.
[SPEAKER_00]: Just say, Mom, I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I didn't mean to offend you in any way, but I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: But no, Dr. Best is like, I don't know your mom enough to know what to even apologize for that everyone knows. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, you're not taking accountability.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I feel like you're trying to portray me in a bad light instead of listening. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm over it at this point. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna lie to you. [SPEAKER_00]: This whole back and forth, we've been listening to it all season, you don't like each other. [SPEAKER_00]: It's lengthy, it's just, uh, you're at the end, we've heard everyone and it's just, you're not going to change, you know?
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a great thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Then he says, I appreciate Tanikki, the passion that you're bringing and I'm like, that will send me over the edge. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, who? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, what? [SPEAKER_00]: I was just like, what is wrong with Sean? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, is he okay?
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, the passion for what we had is not there for me anymore. [SPEAKER_00]: We had decision day. [SPEAKER_01]: He pulled the bear and to me that was a dig saying like you got weight. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have enough energy or I'm not I don't have enough energy to give this like your passionate about this like you still care about this way more than I do is how I took that.
[SPEAKER_01]: And again, yeah, it's just always the it is kind of a cheap shot and so we're Nikki might get a little more of a fiery word delivery. [SPEAKER_01]: They're saying the same thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Like that, but he's still throwing the digs in the app. [SPEAKER_01]: one in the same to me.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are. [SPEAKER_00]: Rattata-ta-ta-ta, just shooting an Asian shot there, all of there. [SPEAKER_00]: He goes back to her mom again, and Nicki screams, like, live my mom out of it. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, no, it was just a lie. [SPEAKER_01]: It was too much for me. [SPEAKER_00]: And then that's where he should up, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: But no. [SPEAKER_00]: Dr. Bess says, well, you asked me to apologize. [SPEAKER_00]: Not you're telling me not to. [SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, experts, come on. [SPEAKER_00]: This is ridiculous, like, step in. [SPEAKER_00]: And then instead of past to say something, I don't know when it ends up in.
[SPEAKER_01]: That again, I think that's what really sealed the deal for me like that this is probably just why we need different hosts because in what world of productive conversation and all of that would to people therapist or not or people who are supposed to play that role when they be like. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's get everyone else's thoughts on this, you know, so like it just would be better for someone like a Kevin.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because it was getting heated, you know, and stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: So I think it's like I'm embarrassed for you, Sean. [SPEAKER_00]: The whole, you have to come up Seattle 10 New York 7 came up. [SPEAKER_00]: he said the same thing about the belly, which I mean, yes, very terrible.
[SPEAKER_00]: But again, two sides of the same coin, the stories never complete. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, it is rude to just grab someone's belly, but like I said, unreliable narrator is Sean too, because we've seen them again. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they both tell half stories and whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: fits in there here.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're narrative the best. [SPEAKER_01]: So they're another kind of like Devon Katelyn, where it's like, what will we ever really know? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, true. [SPEAKER_00]: Thoughts of true stories. [SPEAKER_00]: The house thing comes up and Bell was like, I'm not gonna lie. [SPEAKER_00]: It's giving Battle of the Beyonce and Sean is again, trying to lie, saying like, no, I said our house was nice and I was like, no, you pass remember word for word.
[SPEAKER_00]: You said she was bougie, but she thinks she's the bougie as, but it's okay. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not great. [SPEAKER_01]: And again, he goes into some kind of like explanation or defense or something, instead of just saying he's alright. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I shouldn't have said that. [SPEAKER_00]: He says she took it wrong.
[SPEAKER_00]: Nikki's like, it was a confessional. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even know you said it. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, what are we? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: That was nothing. [SPEAKER_01]: It's an conversation from you to interpret. [SPEAKER_01]: I literally watched your OTF. [SPEAKER_00]: Then it gives another apology.
[SPEAKER_00]: So at this point, it doesn't, it doesn't mean anything. [SPEAKER_00]: Mutual masturbation gate comes up. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm surprised that he does. [SPEAKER_00]: Mecha says that was crazy. [SPEAKER_00]: for an it made him uncomfortable and for meckets and say that's now you know that you messed up but I will say that I think meckets messed up here but didn't make it a thing but I want to know what you think because they were talking about it and meckets was like you know Nikki came to you like being like calm and [SPEAKER_00]: talking to you, bringing her soft, I guess, family, basically, that kind of description.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, she was being soft and she was talking to you calmly and she wasn't her usual self, which is usually aggressive and combative. [SPEAKER_00]: So, maybe in a black woman, I'm like, nobody, bad and I live, nobody said anything. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, oh, okay, all right. [SPEAKER_00]: So we're just gonna move on.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because Nikki is a lot of things. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, would we say that she's aggressive? [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: And like, she throws digs, yes, but she's always said it in a very, [SPEAKER_00]: You know, whatever tone and they usually just back and forthing with each other.
[SPEAKER_00]: So for me, it's to be like, she was aggressive and combative. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, uh, yeah, it's just a couple of words that she again and just like rules. [SPEAKER_01]: You're just not supposed to say that, like, yes, it's, yeah, just. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, yeah, again, gonna be a spoon with femininity and black women and all of that.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so yeah, you know, that's a conversation for another day too. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, but yeah, I could cut to her face too. [SPEAKER_01]: And she did kind of like, yes, tighten up a little bit or I don't think she liked that. [SPEAKER_01]: Which I get, yeah, I think I think he messed up that way too.
[SPEAKER_01]: And [SPEAKER_00]: Again, for things like this, I think I always wonder why they keep it, because given that that was the thing on your season, like, you know, like, it's like a hot topic. [SPEAKER_00]: So I was like, why did we keep that in? [SPEAKER_00]: We would never know if it didn't, but they kept it in.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I know. [SPEAKER_00]: And we moved on. [SPEAKER_00]: Bell was like, um, there was a little bit of gas lighting over there too, but all that. [SPEAKER_00]: And he was like, I'll tell you the difference that Sean and guys, I would love to tell you what he said the difference was, but I fear Nikki's right.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was wordplay. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what the heck he said. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what the difference is. [SPEAKER_00]: All I know is what he said, what I watched and we all saw the same thing. [SPEAKER_00]: So to me, there was no difference. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, mech has says this is hilarious because backstage Sean just gave me advice in the back and he told me to shut up, take Accountability, but every time they have done this through him, he's there's an explanation with no accountability It's just going on and on and then Did just abruptly passes like well, I'd like to wrap in this with everyone say something nice about each other Well about the both of them and then Nicky's like, yeah, I don't have anything nice to say
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she was too far gone down the road of being mad, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He says like he's so appreciative because he was nervous if they were going to match him with a black woman. [SPEAKER_00]: Katelyn's face was hilarious. [SPEAKER_00]: Nikki was like, I am more than just a black woman.
[SPEAKER_00]: But my question is, why were you nervous? [SPEAKER_00]: Did you ask for all the [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: That seemed also, I think that's another just when you crunch a lot of things in together it's going to be hard to get some continuity because that kind of seemed like a small bit in there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like they probably were talking with them for it could have been like 20 30 minutes on just their segment where when we saw it was all of like five minutes or something like that. [SPEAKER_01]: So. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that could have been something else too, because I didn't really, that seemed kind of out of place too.
[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I don't, I don't know, odd. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I'm even saying that. [SPEAKER_01]: But then also like, I was just ready for their segment to be over, because I feel like at that point, everything he was saying, there was a follow-up from Nicky. [SPEAKER_01]: And it was just like, literally, even down to that, like, I'm more than just a black woman.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's not what he's saying. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, it was just, it was time to move on. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, no. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they dragged everything. [SPEAKER_00]: I think the only thing I would have wanted was like, if the expert had said, if passage has been like, but you explicitly asked for a black woman or something, that would have been like great, because I don't know what he's saying.
[SPEAKER_00]: Then they asked her, you single, yes, I know. [SPEAKER_00]: Nikki's like, I'm single. [SPEAKER_00]: Sean, oh my god. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, all the six for one, Lisa Leslie, women in my DMs were eight of my DMs like, stop, like, what do you ask for that? [SPEAKER_01]: I guarantee. [SPEAKER_00]: But then God they made the good choice like they were going to end it with Michelle and Cameron so they go back to them and they asked them what made them stay together.
[SPEAKER_00]: Camp says in the past if someone was wrong like if they just did something he just felt like oh, well, that's the reason they're not right for me But this time he decided that he was just gonna stick it through Honestly, I just think it's right timing right chemistry the X factor was there because it could easily have happened again Because I do remember in the beginning I do feel like camera was a little standoffish I still remember that ride from the party where they were like sitting so far apart and he's like, I don't know [SPEAKER_00]: I've never been in a long term relationship, you don't live here and all that.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just worked and he leaned into it. [SPEAKER_00]: So he said, talking about things, making feel loved and safe. [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's another thing that maybe they didn't show a lot of is them just talking things out on. [SPEAKER_00]: Because by the time it was ending, we didn't know what they were going to do for the distance.
[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't know what they were going to do, you know, for work. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I guess she was going to quit. [SPEAKER_00]: I think she was talking about that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she's such a good her job in the market. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, probably thinking about switching jobs anyway.
[SPEAKER_01]: So this is a kind of a, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So, but yeah, they talked about, you know, all of that stuff and that helped him and he felt like he felt loved, he felt safe and she said the therapy sessions helped them have like a foundation and they asked about starting a family, she does share about her history rectumy and you know, that's the other thing about social media, we knew about that, I told you guys, you know, when she shared about that on social media, [SPEAKER_00]: and she says sharing that with him early on and with him being open about it was great and what they're going to do is explore surrogacy and which they do not know anything about, but you know, wishing them the best who people work out and who they have their coins up is really expensive, but
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but at least I have a plan because he did say he's open to adoption. [SPEAKER_00]: He's open to all that. [SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, good for them. [SPEAKER_00]: It looks like they're going to do that. [SPEAKER_00]: And then we get a look back at their first year. [SPEAKER_00]: And it was like cute pictures and cute things.
[SPEAKER_00]: It really was cute to see them in the back. [SPEAKER_00]: Guys, I didn't get nobody from any more seasons. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I guess this is their solution to after party. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say, okay, like maybe do stuff with. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I was wondering about that.
[SPEAKER_01]: That would make more sense that they are doing stuff then with current. [SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't tell if it was just, [SPEAKER_01]: Like, they thought they worked so well together that they were gonna have a podcast about dating and all of that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, I don't know, that was my guess.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like if it's love in session, I'm guessing like it would be like the, after party and get extra information because I know she does like an Instagram thing. [SPEAKER_00]: I told you guys just to tip Tuesday. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, yes, it's kind of makes sense then yeah, it was another just kind of the cherry on top like oh this is just turned into the whole different thing now it's a whole new machine it's a whole new machine so [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so that was the reunion.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was entertaining. [SPEAKER_00]: We've never had one like this before. [SPEAKER_00]: I am looking forward to Charlotte. [SPEAKER_00]: I really do hope the only thing I'm looking forward to is a little bit more love. [SPEAKER_00]: Like again, we don't want to see like the sausage being made.
[SPEAKER_00]: We know it's for drama and I agree with you. [SPEAKER_00]: All couples are not meant to survive, but give us a little bit more of a chance. [SPEAKER_00]: Increase the probability a little bit. [SPEAKER_01]: I agree, because statistically, people are going to kind of, you know, fall through the cracks and everything regardless.
[SPEAKER_01]: So why not set out for him, especially if they say they do seven couples again. [SPEAKER_01]: really put effort into thinking that five are going to make it like you really want these five to work because then again, statistically it's probably going to be more like three because people get in their own ways or so.
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I just think it would give them a better shot, better odds if they actually go into it, you know, maybe just if they want to do the one or two couples that just aren't meant to make it fine. [SPEAKER_01]: But I think they got a [SPEAKER_01]: put a little more into it to try and get something good.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because there's a big bulk of the viewers for this show in particular that do kind of watch it for the love stories. [SPEAKER_00]: Me too. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like I said, I'm watching a lot of these people until someone tells me no on decision day in my mind, they're going to say yes and they're going to figure out a way to make it work.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because I still, I feel like I'm alone on an island a lot of times, but most matches on the show to me, [SPEAKER_01]: could work in that. [SPEAKER_01]: I really do feel like that there's ways that you can work through almost anything. [SPEAKER_01]: And so especially when it's like communication stuff and all of that, that is stuff that you can work through.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm always approaching it with that lens, but so that sounds just, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's made clearly because it's pointed in the end. [SPEAKER_01]: But that's why I was happy for Michelle and Cameron, definitely. [SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I think that's [SPEAKER_00]: Particularly as much as now we've gotten this out the way we've seen what the format is what Peacock is going to do now I want to see what the second season is going to be like are they going to tweak anything from what they've had on this?
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they've filmed it or they're currently filming it. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure But we know what happened with Charlotte in love is blind. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like the cities that love is blind has done we have an idea [SPEAKER_00]: what do you expect? [SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see you know what happens, but you know it's an entertaining season.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's done now and you know we know what to expect now so we'll see we'll see if there's more to come or you know tweaks. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Camille, thank you so much for coming on here. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for supporting through the season. [SPEAKER_00]: Can you share with people where they can find you?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I'm really just on Instagram. [SPEAKER_01]: It's Camille to underscore Rose. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's definitely by far where I'm most active. [SPEAKER_01]: And we have a good time over there. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we can have fun. [SPEAKER_00]: Before I sign out guys, I just want to thank you for writing with me through this season.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was a longer season. [SPEAKER_00]: It was episode by episode. [SPEAKER_00]: It was a lot of work, but it was a lot of fun. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for all the people who've been with me from the beginning when it was all to call and seeing the evolution. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're new here, welcome.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for writing with me. [SPEAKER_00]: I talk about all the reality shows. [SPEAKER_00]: Like I said at the part one, top of the episode. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll be back to regularly scheduled programming, love is blog, no love island reunion is coming up So I will be covering that also so look out for that traders is coming back So it shows like that.
[SPEAKER_00]: I watch them all so I try to cover As much as I can so thank you Just want to say thank you to everyone all the guests everyone who came through. [SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate you all for listening So until next time guys [UNKNOWN]: I'm full.
