[SPEAKER_00]: Hello, everybody. [SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to another episode of Altacol. [SPEAKER_00]: I am your host, Tane, for another episode of Reality Show Rambul. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the episode where I talk about all the things that we're watching, especially the reality shows. [SPEAKER_00]: This week, I will be talking about perfect match, loving hip-hop, Atlanta, Calabassas, Confidential, belt-collective reunion, and love after look-up.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is a little late, a little under the weather, so sorry about that. [SPEAKER_00]: I have been watching, like I told you guys before, my scripted TV trying to be intentional about that, and in that vein I watched hacks. [SPEAKER_00]: I kept up with hacks, hacks is great, Jean Smart is great, and the finale came up and that's been done and I think it ended really nicely.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's always nice when [SPEAKER_00]: The core is friendship, you know, like kind of like how when sex in the city ended, the core was also around like, you know, friendship. [SPEAKER_00]: So it was really nice. [SPEAKER_00]: It was sweet. [SPEAKER_00]: I enjoyed it. [SPEAKER_00]: And I love when I show and although it knows it's time to say goodbye.
[SPEAKER_00]: Until we wait a year or two and they wanna reboot it and then it comes back in our faces. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking to you Ted Lasso. [SPEAKER_00]: I love that show. [SPEAKER_00]: Ted Lasso is great. [SPEAKER_00]: I just, when they said it was coming back and I'm like, why? [SPEAKER_00]: Like it ended so nicely.
[SPEAKER_00]: We put a little bow on it. [SPEAKER_00]: and now it's coming back. [SPEAKER_00]: Am I gonna watch it? [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but still. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not a bitch. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm also watching mating season. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what I'm watching this silly little show, but at night time when you're just trying to remind and not really think, and for me when I'm watching stuff where I don't have to take notes, it's just, it just works for that.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's from the same people who did on big mouth, which I liked for like the first few seasons and after a while they just became too much for me. [SPEAKER_00]: But I don't know, mating season is just, it's mindless TV. [SPEAKER_00]: For me, so it's animated and it's crossed and it's basically about animals and forests and they're different dating habits.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll not dating meeting really, but it's sometimes funny, but it works in its own way. [SPEAKER_00]: Guys, I just finished this podcast. [SPEAKER_00]: Shoutout to Aid. [SPEAKER_00]: Aid was a person who recommended this for me is called Love Trapped. [SPEAKER_00]: It's the story of the Bachelor Clayton.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if anyone watched his season. [SPEAKER_00]: I did. [SPEAKER_00]: I watched the Bachelor. [SPEAKER_00]: I watched Bachelor in Paradise. [SPEAKER_00]: I watched his season with Michelle. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was very surprised that he got tapped to be the Bachelor. [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, I thought like she sent him home just so he could go prepare to be the Bachelor.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he became the Bachelor. [SPEAKER_00]: And this man [SPEAKER_00]: as all get out, and it's just, you know, people were saying he was a villain. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I'll go that far, but his big football was that, you know, the fantasy sweets he took them both, he slept with them, and then he told them at the real ceremony that I just want to be honest and I stepped in both of you, but I don't really want either of you, I want the other person who went home, so that was not nice.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, [SPEAKER_00]: that happened. [SPEAKER_00]: But anyways, the podcast is about him literally being loved trapped by a girl who said that she was pregnant with his baby and it would have been twins and he wasn't taking ownership or paternity and it was just as run around that she was giving him and would not actually give him an actual pregnancy like an ultrasound.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because she did do a pregnancy test, but I don't want to spoil it for you in case you are going to listen to it for all the ins and outs of it because it just got crazier, but then we find out that, you know, she's been doing that to a couple of guys also. [SPEAKER_00]: So I was very fascinated by it and I'm glad that, you know, some of the people got justice from this, but it is great listen.
[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to listen to it, once again, it's called love trapped once again shout out to aid for that. [SPEAKER_00]: I've also been watching pop culture Jeopardy. [SPEAKER_00]: I just love that show. [SPEAKER_00]: It gives me joy. [SPEAKER_00]: It moves from prime to Netflix now. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's now two teams.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was two people I mean. [SPEAKER_00]: It used to be three teams of three. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why I had to be teams of three. [SPEAKER_00]: And now it is teams of two. [SPEAKER_00]: And personally, I think the questions are easier. [SPEAKER_00]: People always ask me, would I ever go on a reality TV?
[SPEAKER_00]: I would not. [SPEAKER_00]: I always say no, pop culture jeopardy, I would do. [SPEAKER_00]: I would do pop culture jeopardy. [SPEAKER_00]: I do believe that I will freeze. [SPEAKER_00]: on camera and suddenly I'll go blank and I'll see their faces but not have the names come up my mouth but I would love to know they're just for the experience so I'll see if I can find somebody else because you have to take a test and you have to be separated, then based on your scores, you'll see if they call you win but I am enjoying it on Netflix.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, in terms of reading, I just finished Brande's memoir phases, which I liked. [SPEAKER_00]: I think she walked the line between sharing a lot and also keeping stuff to herself, but I love Brande. [SPEAKER_00]: She can do it along in my eyes and I enjoy that. [SPEAKER_00]: So currently, I am reading Stranger's by Bellburden.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's everywhere and I am very fascinated by it and I am intrigued. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm in the beginning of it, so I don't quite, I'm not in the gist of the story, but [SPEAKER_00]: It's the memoir of a person who talks about her marriage breaking down. [SPEAKER_00]: It sounds bleak, but it is fascinating.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm reading that and I'm also reading all the way all the way by the river, all the way down the river by Elizabeth Gilbert, which is also another fascinating thing. [SPEAKER_00]: So share with me what you're reading, share with me what you recommend, but that's what I'm reading. [SPEAKER_00]: The last thing that I'm having to talk about was [SPEAKER_00]: I told you guys about the nature board documentary that wasn't Hulu.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I said, oh, I'm not getting into the rabbit hole that's on YouTube. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like 46 episodes of 30 minutes, 30 minutes episodes, 46 of them on YouTube. [SPEAKER_00]: They really go in depth and I'm not going to do it, but I did. [SPEAKER_00]: And I can't believe all the things that I saw and it's not real, but I went down that rabbit hole.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I also had time to listen to, um, [SPEAKER_00]: Kate Casey's podcast where she had an interview with the producer and I was hesitant because at first the documentary that came out on Hulu, I'm always wary when [SPEAKER_00]: There's a documentary story to be told that's about black people and it's being told by a white person, because I'm like, there are just some nuances that I don't know that can be captured or the culture, which was the same case I think for Mary Cosby, her documentary, the Cult of a Housewife, like, there are just things that, you know, add to it, but listening to the documentary, listening to the interview that he had with KKC, where was wondering why he got to tell the story?
[SPEAKER_00]: because he was sensationalizing it, he actually had a relationship with nature for years ago in 2017. [SPEAKER_00]: He said he was going out to something in Costa Rica. [SPEAKER_00]: and he happened to be there and he was looking for information about living in Costa Rica and having that, so there were, you know, text messaging and talking and he even flew down to go meet him, but the data he landed was the data he got deported, nature boy got deported a lot of times.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that was the angle that he was coming from and the reason why it was also different was like, [SPEAKER_00]: He didn't want nature boy to be the focus of the story he wanted the focus to be on the people he considered the victims because he already gets enough focus on there. [SPEAKER_00]: So you know it's still a completely different documentary from the YouTube versus to Hulu but it did give context as to how that came about and why it took the angle that it did from that.
[SPEAKER_00]: So okay that's what's taking up my time of mine when I'm not e-apping to you guys on the [SPEAKER_00]: But the first show I'm going to go into is Perfect Match. [SPEAKER_00]: They are done, I think you got done like last week. [SPEAKER_00]: This is a show that I just thoroughly enjoy. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just mindless TV, but I still enjoy it and everybody understands the assignment and what they're supposed to do on here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Spoiler alert, in case you haven't watched it, it's been like almost two weeks. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm about to say who the winners are. [SPEAKER_00]: Turn it down, fast forward, do what you need to do. [SPEAKER_00]: I cannot believe who the winners were. [SPEAKER_00]: maybe I'm not gonna say it, or I will.
[SPEAKER_00]: I cannot believe that Dave and Sophie won, honestly. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I just never in a million years that I think that I was gonna be them. [SPEAKER_00]: I actually thought it was gonna be Jimmy and Allison. [SPEAKER_00]: I thought they were gonna win. [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't understand where that came from, but of course they're broken up already.
[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, they didn't give an update for all the people because I don't know why they didn't give a full update for everybody, but they split, they did go on the vacation that they showed, but any of course, Australia, to England. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he said he always moved to Canada for someone before, but that man is going to do it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, he even on his season of Marida for sight, he had cold feet. [SPEAKER_00]: So, Jimmy and Allison, who I thought should have won, are no longer together. [SPEAKER_00]: They did try, they went back and forth, but it seems like they're not together anymore. [SPEAKER_00]: I still don't understand Jimmy's accent and where that's from, but no one seems to care or mine.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we just go along with it, I guess. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Marissa and Demari are no longer together. [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, Marissa went ahead and married someone, like, four months after filming. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm not shocked. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, honestly, I think like it tracks me behavior from Marissa.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I just hope it was like a right decision and it wasn't like a spontaneous decision. [SPEAKER_00]: It is someone I think she's known before from way back. [SPEAKER_00]: So, even if I do think this is a little impulsive and she is like, [SPEAKER_00]: Someone who really wants love, so I mean, I always wish the best for everyone.
[SPEAKER_00]: So good luck to her, Yemen and Natalie, we already knew because Yemen is still with me from Levi-Land UK all stars and Natalie apparently started dating Chris and I'm like, what is that about? [SPEAKER_00]: That's very messy. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, that final was very interesting. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Ali and Jimmy are not a thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, Jimmy moved to Miami to go live his best life. [SPEAKER_00]: It is new look. [SPEAKER_00]: So good luck to him. [SPEAKER_00]: That man is a fuck boy. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not serious. [SPEAKER_00]: And Ali is moved to Charleston because I think she's going to try and get on Southern hospitality, but we'll see.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, the final way everyone was just bringing up stuff like yet again, Spotify has ruined another couple on Netflix. [SPEAKER_00]: Because people were texting through Spotify. [SPEAKER_00]: I will say though, when Hashan actually said out loud that him and Ali got intimate, I think that was very wrong of him.
[SPEAKER_00]: If she didn't bring it up, it's not your place to bring it up. [SPEAKER_00]: There was just no reason for that. [SPEAKER_00]: It was unnecessary. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe his ego was bruised, but I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't like it. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how they can be annoying.
[SPEAKER_00]: But on see, how he was just living her best life on perfect match. [SPEAKER_00]: She was having a great time. [SPEAKER_00]: She was doing what she wanted to do. [SPEAKER_00]: And when you think about the relationship that she had regime's Kennedy and getting out of that and just getting to be herself, she's allowed to.
[SPEAKER_00]: She can do whatever she wanted. [SPEAKER_00]: But [SPEAKER_00]: I know the point of the final deliberation is to try and poke holes and why it doesn't matter. [SPEAKER_00]: I like, do you deserve the money or is it really real? [SPEAKER_00]: But it was grimy to me. [SPEAKER_00]: I just think it was worth it.
[SPEAKER_00]: People trying to say like, Yemen and Natalie did not encounter any struggles or anything, but the French lovers, it was hard. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, like I say, I always feel like Yemen [SPEAKER_00]: anything to stay on TV. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I hope his and Whitney's is real as fresh as his long distance and he's putting in the effort, but also relationship content sells better than anything.
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, but they the way and other season come and done. [SPEAKER_00]: I really do hope that Netflix [SPEAKER_00]: does the thing where the timing between when it's shot and when we see it gets shorter because we don't need to see it so far ahead when we already know what happens. [SPEAKER_00]: Like we already knew that the game was just somebody else.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what are we watching for? [SPEAKER_00]: The same thing when it was AD and Ollie, like we already knew they were married or expecting a baby. [SPEAKER_00]: So what was the point [SPEAKER_00]: From that so that was that okay moving on to love and hip-hop at Lana this was the finale I don't think they knew was the finale It wasn't set up like a finale.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just wanted to talk about it just to give it a sendoff because it has been on our TV screens for a very long time That and it's been off my amy still on but I've kind of falling off on that. [SPEAKER_00]: I might catch up on that [SPEAKER_00]: But all in all, I don't think there's been much growth from the moment that we watched it because scrappy is still embarrassing, scrappy does not realize that he is a grown man that should act like a grown man and he's still out there just cheating women like they're disposable and then many they do something that challenges him, he throws him away even though he's cheating and being inappropriate and it's everybody else's fault but his.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I cannot believe that after everything that Bambi is still entertaining him, you can't take these people seriously. [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, you really can't. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, I don't know when people will learn that you cannot hide things from the camera. [SPEAKER_00]: Mendes is an Indian talking to you.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what you guys are trying to hide. [SPEAKER_00]: I just, you're in TV and you're veteran. [SPEAKER_00]: So you know these things. [SPEAKER_00]: So, [SPEAKER_00]: I can't tell if I want them to stay together or not. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't think you should just stay together because you've been together a long time.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I know that, especially with the Atlanta [SPEAKER_00]: Cast they always try to say you should stay and because Rashida and Kirk have stayed together through the most embarrassing things Even when they shouldn't be they're like that's true love like it does it doesn't have to be suffering So I don't know if there's true love or if they're just used to each other I don't know what my game and thesis is doing but one minute is like oh, we love each other How did we get here another minute?
[SPEAKER_00]: You're talking like you really have so much resentment and it looks like Andy has moved on so [SPEAKER_00]: good luck to them. [SPEAKER_00]: And as always, I'm always team kids, not the adults, whatever is best for the kids. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I want. [SPEAKER_00]: Erica Banks, getting charges, facing true drug felony charges, everyone around you is telling you that a drug is a problem, your girlfriend, you need to look around.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like you never got into trouble. [SPEAKER_00]: Until that came around, jeopardizing everything. [SPEAKER_00]: And she seems to be living in delusion. [SPEAKER_00]: Because she's like, I didn't do anything. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm innocent. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not, you know, [SPEAKER_00]: it is very heavy, you should probably take it more seriously.
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know a show is crazy when Carly comes to help Erica Banks at the jail and sees 24 and 24 says like he was taking in but he's here to bond Salma his wife and just like what the hell you know was he was traffic violations but it's just kind of crazy and you know Carly's you know mayor mayor s of Atlanta [SPEAKER_00]: It's a reminder, she's a true OG with connections.
[SPEAKER_00]: My heart broke for Jessica, you know, we did know that she lost the baby, she's gone through many miscarriages and she finally got pregnant and she's been scared, she did tell her, she said I'm scared because with each month I don't know if I'm going to lose it and this was the longest that it'd been for her.
[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, for her to still lose the baby, it was just, it was really, really heartbreaking and I felt really sad for her. [SPEAKER_00]: I do hope she gets the chance that she said she said she will be a mother, whichever way it takes and I do hope that comes through for her. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, on a zane, zane is so messy, zane and his wife are so messy.
[SPEAKER_00]: And zane is also an example of how men are so scared to go to the doctor. [SPEAKER_00]: I cannot believe your brother needs a kidney and you are so scared that you will not even go test to see if you're a match for your brother. [SPEAKER_00]: I just, that was just weird to me. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, and with Ashley, like his wife is all over the place, but I am with her on the fact that they're doing a charity event, trying to raise money, um, for Zane's brother, and then you bring Zane's ex, um, over to come over to is very messy to bring Michelle there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Zane's mother should stop pretending like she wants to make peace, and still try to irritate Ashley and get on her skin. [SPEAKER_00]: So in that case, I am with Ashley and that one. [SPEAKER_00]: Sierra is going through yet another divorce and Sierra changes men like underwear the problem is I don't think she realizes that She doesn't need to marry them.
[SPEAKER_00]: She just keeps marrying them and saying this is the love of her life And then she has to go through all this divorces, but I do hope she's okay though like a lot of you know What I saw in this season in that she said that she's okay now, but in the confessionals and even there it just felt like [SPEAKER_00]: She was still under the influence, I don't know, under the influence of what I don't know, but I just hope she's okay and she takes care of herself now, especially with the show going off.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what that does to them with them not having. [SPEAKER_00]: work or something. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if all these shows are going to move to paramount plus or something. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, but I do hope that, you know, she takes care of herself. [SPEAKER_00]: And I guess to close out the episode for the 1000th time, we see Jock performing just a different reiteration of it's going down.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's it. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, thanks ATL, like in the very beginning, the Jocelyn season, the Mimi, the we went through a, it was a time, a time and a half for 11 hip-hop ATL. [SPEAKER_00]: So, curtains are closed and that's it. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, moving on to Calabasa's confidential.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm gonna spend a while here. [SPEAKER_00]: I started this show and I'm like, what the heck is this? [SPEAKER_00]: It's like a version of Laguna Hills except that they're in college. [SPEAKER_00]: And everyone is so messy. [SPEAKER_00]: but I've been enjoying it. [SPEAKER_00]: I felt old, but I was enjoying it.
[SPEAKER_00]: There is no loyalty. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a lot of Kardashian mentioned. [SPEAKER_00]: I guess, I don't know, I think enough, for sure, either faces of color passes, maybe, but there's just a lot of them. [SPEAKER_00]: This show is like, if a person, if there were a person, there would be like a [SPEAKER_00]: name dropper i guess is what it is because we get a lot of like random camios for no reason we get a lot of like mentions like even with a cast in we have like Jordan wood sister but she doesn't really do anything we haven't seen where she has rejoited but you can tell like okay they got her so they could get jordan like they get each person and they get their [SPEAKER_00]: their famous person counterpart.
[SPEAKER_00]: The person they're connected to this famous just to have that. [SPEAKER_00]: And then we get like a random, uh, Carmen Electra showing she just showed up at the tattoo shop where her see who is Masterpiece son and, uh, Romeo's brother, Romeo Miller, um, trying to get a tattoo and she just showed up and, you know, speak some words to him and I'm just like, this is a random.
[SPEAKER_00]: But the show is a name drop. [SPEAKER_00]: I just want to act like, you know, they got all [SPEAKER_00]: I cannot stand Dylan. [SPEAKER_00]: I cannot stand stand stand him because it truly is a choice to be a dick on camera on purpose in 2026 and I know they like to say like he changes life and just because he got sober does not mean that he changes life.
[SPEAKER_00]: He just happened to change an aspect of his life which is commendable which is great like if if alcohol was not good for him and he turned [SPEAKER_00]: That's great and amazing. [SPEAKER_00]: But that doesn't mean the rest of his life still doesn't need work. [SPEAKER_00]: You cannot talk about women.
[SPEAKER_00]: He says that it was behavior that he had when he wasn't high school because he was gymnast first and then the next day he told everybody because she bled and then she told he told everybody in school that she was bloody Mary. [SPEAKER_00]: That is so awful. [SPEAKER_00]: That is so, so awful.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, in my excitement, I did not tell you the premise of the show. [SPEAKER_00]: It's basically what they did was a whole bunch of people who went to the same high school. [SPEAKER_00]: And now for some reason or the other, they're back in Calabasas. [SPEAKER_00]: And they're all like just trying to see if their friend group can get together and see what goes on with the drama and everything.
[SPEAKER_00]: Since they're all back in Calabasas and haven't been together together since they graduated high school. [SPEAKER_00]: And I think they graduated high school like 2021 or something like that. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, so Dylan is saying like all these things happen long ago, but then when the conversation he keeps saying that oh, Gemma was never really someone he dated she was someone that, you know, he called only between like 2 a.m. midnight and you know what that is that's current.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's current and the things that you say and do is current. [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know what that said, but on the flip side, I don't know why Gemma gives him the time of the day. [SPEAKER_00]: But then I have to remember they're like 22, 23, frontal lobe, not developed. [SPEAKER_00]: So we were all stupid when we were young.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what's happening right now. [SPEAKER_00]: At first I thought Emma was misunderstood because she is also one of the people who's caught in Dylan's web. [SPEAKER_00]: But [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not so sure. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how that feels like I do think that she had like a tough childhood and I think she does mention like she doesn't understand how her parents just let her do whatever it is that she wanted to do and I really feel like, oh, where are they, where are you?
[SPEAKER_00]: They do have on the fly confessionals, which is kind of cute because in one instance, some of they were talking about just walked by and they were all surprised that the person walked by. [SPEAKER_00]: So having on the fly confessionals, even seeing it in Atlanta, it's coming back and I like it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, this is a tea place that they all go to, was it Nala land or something like that? [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, is this like their central perk, like in France, or this is the only [SPEAKER_00]: Um, so they're two friends, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Kimura and Emily, Emily is blonde, white, and Kimura is black and he thinks she's an influencer and they're best friends.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they keep telling us their best friends. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm now I don't know if it's like their best friends best friends or this is reality TV best friends because everyone is best friends in the season. [SPEAKER_00]: So Kimura dated her C that's masterpiece. [SPEAKER_00]: So I told and then now her C is interested in Emily.
[SPEAKER_00]: and Emily's entertaining it, and Emily's acting like it's nothing. [SPEAKER_00]: Kimura is clearly pissed. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know the time out of when this day dated. [SPEAKER_00]: All these things might have happened when they were 14 and so might say get over it. [SPEAKER_00]: But it's still messy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like if that's your best friend, and it's not a case of Kimura Sanchez's best friend, they're both saying they're best friends. [SPEAKER_00]: Why are you interested in somebody that you a friend dated? [SPEAKER_00]: Why are you even entertaining? [SPEAKER_00]: You're not shutting it down.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone's like, oh, her sea, um, flirt with everybody, and yes, he does, [SPEAKER_00]: You're a best friend. [SPEAKER_00]: You're not everybody else. [SPEAKER_00]: So why are we doing this? [SPEAKER_00]: So when Kimara stopped talking to her and said, I'm just going to remove myself from this situation.
[SPEAKER_00]: Emily's accent like she doesn't know why that happened and why she's not talking to her. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, please don't be weird. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, you'll be flirty with your friend's ex. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, oh, I don't want any drama. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want that in my life.
[SPEAKER_00]: But the thing that's so annoying because we get another case of this, we unswaved, and Dylan, they don't make them talk about it in the confessionals. [SPEAKER_00]: They talk about everything else, except the fact that, yeah, I guess it's messy to talk to your friends or, oh, I don't feel like it's right, something to that effect, they don't talk about it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But now I'm just like, maybe this is normal behavior, and that's why on Summer House reunion Amanda is saying, [SPEAKER_00]: Lindsay did say we're in high school maybe and this kids are practically in high school, so there's that. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, she just, again, like I said, Emily just never mentions that it's a little ought to be 30 to go on a date with her friends ex.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't get it. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't get it. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, I was talking about Dylan earlier and I part of what annoys me about him. [SPEAKER_00]: First of all, I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: He never filmed that his house. [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know if there's an issue there. [SPEAKER_00]: Every time we saw him, he was shown up with a bag and a change of clothes and a fucking toothpick in his mouth.
[SPEAKER_00]: This really irritated me, it really bugged the hell out of me. [SPEAKER_00]: Like the last person who did that all the time that I remember was Ditty. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's all you need to know about that. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like stop. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't, it doesn't make you look cool.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's a blue rider now. [SPEAKER_00]: So everywhere he goes, he passes himself a mob or a man and a cowboy. [SPEAKER_00]: He wears like a stetsin. [SPEAKER_00]: And then he has to toothpick in his mouth. [SPEAKER_00]: Like you are in Calabasa. [SPEAKER_00]: Stop it. [SPEAKER_00]: Gosh, can you tell?
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm annoyed. [SPEAKER_00]: So, Gemma has her group of friends, right? [SPEAKER_00]: And she has told everyone about how Dylan is a dick and sweet is like, you don't need him in your life, you need to get him out of there. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm on your side, I'm here for it. [SPEAKER_00]: So they go to like an event and I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: To me, sweet and Dylan, we're flirting. [SPEAKER_00]: She was flirting back. [SPEAKER_00]: But then the asker was up and she was like, no, I have you back all the time. [SPEAKER_00]: I would never do this. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, the loyalty, the girls are not loyal. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I mentioned earlier, a lot of cameos were dropped and it was a jump scare when we had Brandy, Glenville just come up on our screens and I don't know how this wacky women raise normal children, but I also don't know why we had this scene. [SPEAKER_00]: Her son Mason, this was the only scene we saw him in.
[SPEAKER_00]: I did not see him anywhere else, so why did they choose to keep this because they just wanted to have brandy glam villain here. [SPEAKER_00]: But for me, it was so awkward. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, how old is she and she still doing things for shock value? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, they basically were just talking about, oh, she knew when he lost his virginity, she knew when he wasn't having sex anymore.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, can you do that? [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what are you doing, Brandy? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, and then telling, I think Emily showed up, [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing about the scene was organic or seem natural, and I'm like, this show is trying so hard, but [SPEAKER_00]: I was wondering why would you have a larsa pippin' scene?
[SPEAKER_00]: We eventually got one because her son Preston is on the show and I like him. [SPEAKER_00]: I think his sweet, I mean, his messy pressy, but I think his sweet, he bakes and I think that's an outlet for him. [SPEAKER_00]: He bakes cookies all the time, he shares them with his cast members and they try to force a story with him with a kiss with Alexey that happened.
[SPEAKER_00]: Eons' ago again, they might have been 13. [SPEAKER_00]: But you know, I don't know, I don't maybe they do like each other, I don't know, but I just felt like they were trying to force something, but he does talk about, you know, something that happened ends ago when he's talking about his mom.
[SPEAKER_00]: and he tears up and he says my mom was friends with a famous family. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't mention their name, but he was very carefully picking his words, but you could tell that it weighed on him there was accusations of cheating and then he split and I don't know what I took from it was that he was basically saying that he was glad to be his dad.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: just my interpretation, but he has things to sort out with that. [SPEAKER_00]: The way, again, the camera use. [SPEAKER_00]: Someone, Emily was at a date with Ben and saw a turtle. [SPEAKER_00]: and how he Mandel just popped up, but I'm like, is it, was this natural, was this like a plan or what is that about?
[SPEAKER_00]: But it also showed the celebrity culture that we have in America because he came in, he was so excited about the turtles and then she's like, oh my God, should I be more into the turtles? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, he seemed so into the turtles. [SPEAKER_00]: So because the celebrity was into the turtles, then all of a sudden Emily's like, oh, I should be into turtles as well.
[SPEAKER_00]: The whole band, Alexie, Emily, thing, like, listen, Emily, DJF, she'll give a fuck, she likes him, it was gonna happen. [SPEAKER_00]: It seemed silly, you can't call dibs on someone. [SPEAKER_00]: He wanted to be with Emily, and also you didn't miss out on anything, because as Emma told us later, he actually has a girlfriend in New York, so he's playing them both, just to be on TV, so, you know, nothing to see here.
[SPEAKER_00]: But Emily when she does meet Ben is like, oh, he asked her what's your type. [SPEAKER_00]: And she's like tall, tan, blue eyes, aka, not her sea. [SPEAKER_00]: So this makes it even worse. [SPEAKER_00]: So you're just going on a date with your best friend's ex for the fun of it. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not even your type.
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't even like him. [SPEAKER_00]: Like you felt bad according to what she said. [SPEAKER_00]: It's so annoying. [SPEAKER_00]: It really is so annoying. [SPEAKER_00]: And gosh. [SPEAKER_00]: But anyways. [SPEAKER_00]: So Ada's still going on with Dylan. [SPEAKER_00]: She's going back and forth with him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Even when he does something, she'll talk about a party with Hickey's on his neck. [SPEAKER_00]: And she's still entertaining him. [SPEAKER_00]: And at this point, I have to convince myself that she's doing this for camera time, because he makes absolute sense why she's doing this. [SPEAKER_00]: So I want to point out that the way the kids talk about something and the parents are so calm, like Preston was telling Larissa about, [SPEAKER_00]: how he was affected by the rumors and things that happened and last time it kind of makes a joke out of it and it's like did we mess you up?
[SPEAKER_00]: Did me and your dad mess you up? [SPEAKER_00]: You had to go to therapy and the same thing with Emma when she was talking to her mom and saying how you know things were tough for her and having and her mom is just calmly just oh I'm sorry that happened to you and I'm like you happened to her you're the parents so [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: Again, the difference between TV and reality, I hope they're taking it really seriously. [SPEAKER_00]: Sterling and his girlfriend, she was a girl that was on dance moms and just felt so out of place, I don't think they're gonna last. [SPEAKER_00]: He was hesitant about a lot of things, like we need to slow down, we need to be there and he made comments about like, you know, I don't want to babysit her, like she's not comfortable, and she also doesn't want to be like a burden, [SPEAKER_00]: Um, we'll see what happens, but good on him for going against the grain and following his dreams to be a model.
[SPEAKER_00]: I guess he can always go back to where he's daddy once him to do, um, for a follow up for anyone who's um, following, I know a heresy on the show said that, you know, he didn't get the approval tour for the NCAA, but uh, not to work for them to get an extra year back. [SPEAKER_00]: He did get it.
[SPEAKER_00]: He is playing at the University of New Orleans now with his dad. [SPEAKER_00]: So, yay, heresy. [SPEAKER_00]: But overall, guys, I enjoyed it. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I mean, as his brain cells, it's not like the most, you know, riveting thing, but, you know, it was okay, it was fine. [SPEAKER_00]: I will say, Gemma is what every reality show wants, and she definitely did what she was supposed to do and being unhinged.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I don't like how she was talking about Emma and saying, you know, I think she was protecting Naly and she was saying you don't have to listen to her, she sells BMWs, like so condescending Lee, like don't talk about someone who does honest work for a living like. [SPEAKER_00]: that is her job and she's like, you buy cars from her, you don't even need to, everybody is not measured by their worth and what they do.
[SPEAKER_00]: Did not like that. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, Gemma is a reality TV producer's dream, but as a person, she says a lot of work to do. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, she was just doing the most in here and I just really don't appreciate no matter what you think Emma had done. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't like when people are not giving respect, especially because it's [SPEAKER_00]: She didn't even know she had to fall taxes.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, no one told me I had to fall my taxes. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, and when she spoke about all the hardship her family had to face when they moved from South Africa, we weren't like a two bedroom family and two bedroom apartment and it was so hard. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, what is our trip again?
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyways, but if you want to check it out, it's on Netflix and you can see that. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Belle collected another Carlos King production. [SPEAKER_00]: They had their reunion. [SPEAKER_00]: It's on own. [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't many episodes, but I didn't enjoy it. [SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, it's a show that's kind of like a spinoff of love and marriage huntsville, but it's centered around stormy who was a cast member left and is now on the show.
[SPEAKER_00]: Tiffany, cannot stand her, did not even let the reunion cook before she became annoying and say, just yelling as she usually does over there. [SPEAKER_00]: Fumi's ignorance about her finances in her house, a little part of me, I feel like it's put on. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to believe that she doesn't know anything at all.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think she wants to give off like she's a, she's been taking care of and, you know, she just leaves it to him and she just [SPEAKER_00]: I, I, I, I, I, I maybe I'm hoping I'm hoping that that's not the case because she, um, Carlos Aster and she's like, she doesn't know how much anything is and stormy, she's a bit because she's like, it works for them, but that's not the case in my, um, household.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I really, really like Stormy's answer when Carlos asked like, do you think that, what do you think about, you know, the being the breadwinner of the family and she's like, I would never say I'm the breadwinner because, you know, her husband helped her achieve her dreams and he does everything and even when she can with their son, like he steps in.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she would never, you know, go out there and just be like, I'm the breadwinner here, like their partners in that and I just, you know, really really like that as she tiered [SPEAKER_00]: Tiffany said that she did not, well, I guess when they met, his, her husband did not want kids. [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, they do have one together, I mean, he makes more sense that he, [SPEAKER_00]: Once they get a reset to me, even though she wants one more kid, I kind of feel like if she got one kid and he didn't want any kid at all, remember that he had kids, he had a kid and now they have a kid together and if she got one, that is a compromise, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I know she's sad and she's allowed to leave the dream of having another kid, but I didn't realize that he didn't want kids at all before this. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, I did say earlier when I talked about the show that I believe that Amber was definitely playing up the whole thing we Kayla because I didn't think he was that deep, but I didn't understand it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, Kayla is just in a different, she, she's in a different planet from everyone. [SPEAKER_00]: So honestly, if you're doing the beef, it just feels like it's exhausting and there's no point to it. [SPEAKER_00]: Just make peace and let's move on. [SPEAKER_00]: I hope that Amber and Stormy's friendship lasts because you get a reality TV and it doesn't always work.
[SPEAKER_00]: I do think Amber being friends with Tiffany is a blockage to the friendship with Stormy because Tiffany just doesn't like Stormy and vice versa. [SPEAKER_00]: I do think we're kind of seeing the behavior. [SPEAKER_00]: They did call it true, where she was just like, [SPEAKER_00]: you know call me we didn't get to know each other better like I didn't even know about your IVF so I was wondering if their friendship was survived but I don't know how she can be friends with Tiffany and Stormy at the same time.
[SPEAKER_00]: Tiffany's saying that everyone is kissing Stormy's ass and they're not telling how to truth because they want to keep their their [SPEAKER_00]: rules on the show and Stormy just over it at this point because that's some point Stormy is just like I beat you so much stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Good loves me and I love him and Tiffany ever.
[SPEAKER_00]: The instigator is like he does love you and I'm glad that you know that so [SPEAKER_00]: I love that she tried to call out that's Tiffany. [SPEAKER_00]: You try to call out Fumi and saying, like, oh, you did not tell her. [SPEAKER_00]: You said that you didn't like the last supper thing where we were washing the feet, that she thought it was kind of blasphemous.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Fumi's like, but I had a conversation with Stormy, but you don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not a gut your moment. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's just like Tiffany, relax girl. [SPEAKER_00]: Just be yourself. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why you have all this smoke. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't need to do all of that.
[SPEAKER_00]: So. [SPEAKER_00]: Last show I'm gonna talk about is love after luck up. [SPEAKER_00]: This show brings me so much joy. [SPEAKER_00]: We have eight new X convicts. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't believe I'm being excited about yelling out eight new ex-convicts. [SPEAKER_00]: The last time I talked about it, I let you guys know that I was watching a whole entire season of Love During Lockup and did not realize I was watching Love During Lockup because I intentionally don't watch it because I have no interest in watching them while in jail.
[SPEAKER_00]: But there weren't a lot of why I don't watch this because I don't like the video footage of them in jail and it's all blurry and I don't like that. [SPEAKER_00]: and he feels like you're watching like an illegal version of a show, so I didn't realize that. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was just kept wondering, like, where did they come out of jail?
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's taking so long. [SPEAKER_00]: And then at the end, they said, like, you didn't watch a luxury look-up. [SPEAKER_00]: Some of our couples would be in love after look-up, because my DVR records it as love after look-up on the same show. [SPEAKER_00]: But some of these couples are on these seasons, so we'll continue to follow their journey.
[SPEAKER_00]: how are you locked up, but still being a cheater and playing to women? [SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing to me on Kim, too. [SPEAKER_00]: It just sounds so stressful that I don't understand why you do that. [SPEAKER_00]: The man is literally engaged to one of the women and Bonita and he's we goddess and goddesses obsessed with him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like she said, I think she's described it as it's a fatal attraction. [SPEAKER_00]: never met this man, but Nina at least has met him before she went to jail, they have things together, but she's like so when she gets mad at him, she sold some of his stuff, she wouldn't let him, his mom have access to the storage, she sold the engagement ring that she got into she tried to get a cheap one to replace it, but demand also has four kids and four baby moms, so [SPEAKER_00]: when goddess's family is like, are you sure?
[SPEAKER_00]: Are you okay? [SPEAKER_00]: She's like, yeah, I really love him. [SPEAKER_00]: So he's giving them two different dates. [SPEAKER_00]: So he's telling goddess that he's out a Monday, which is the actual date, so she can come pick him up. [SPEAKER_00]: And then on Tuesday, she's telling her that he needs to go to his peos place, but his cousin is gonna pick him up and she doesn't need to take him there because she's like, why can I take you there?
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just, this is stressful for me. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand. [SPEAKER_00]: Bonita is also insane like I said and the funny part is like when they're boot describing him they boot describing the same way like oh He's my twin. [SPEAKER_00]: He's my twin flame is like we're the same person in two different bodies For her job, she makes inappropriate waffles.
[SPEAKER_00]: Who knew that was a thing like when you call from jail guys We're watching Bonita make like [SPEAKER_00]: penis waffles, vagina waffles. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I did not know that was the thing she did say. [SPEAKER_00]: If you need me for your parties, let me know which is funny, because she's done in Baltimore, which is not so fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah it is. [SPEAKER_00]: The thing is, as the show gets older, as reality shows gets older, they try to do different angles and different tricks. [SPEAKER_00]: So for them, we have a [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if they didn't learn from the 90 day, they tried to do that and that was kind of like a flop when they got the throckle but they have Trent and Kami who are 55 and 54 and they have a third person Nita who is 40.
[SPEAKER_00]: The difference is, like we love after look up, there's sometimes meeting for the first time what they've been dating but in this case this is not a first time meeting, they know each other, they've been a throckle for a while the thing is the throckle got into a fight. [SPEAKER_00]: Nita got so mad, she relapsed, got drunk, rare-ended people, and then ended up in jail, and I'm like, [SPEAKER_00]: So now she's coming back and trans and cami have a daughter who they're just talking casually about it.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just feel there wasn't so weird. [SPEAKER_00]: So we get background on them and trans and cami were in the church. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they lived in Utah when they say, and they lost a son and, you know, losing their son, just gave them a realization, life is short. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't want to live on their rules anymore.
[SPEAKER_00]: They just want to live left to the fullest. [SPEAKER_00]: And, [SPEAKER_00]: They wanted to have all the things and that's how they got with Nita. [SPEAKER_00]: So the issue now is they got a ring, they dedicated themselves to Nita. [SPEAKER_00]: But also, I believe Trent was the one who told us that Nita is not attracted to [SPEAKER_00]: Man, oh, trans says Nita is not wired to love men.
[SPEAKER_00]: I, that was a very interesting choice of words. [SPEAKER_00]: So most of the time, he feels like the third wheel between Nita and Kami. [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know how they're gonna work that out. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, to be fair as I observe them, Nita tries to be fair when she gets one at case, she gives you the other one at case, but I don't know how.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to work. [SPEAKER_00]: But yes, they got her ring and they tell that they want to make it official. [SPEAKER_00]: They just want to make let her know that it's equal. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not it's not it's not [SPEAKER_00]: It's all reciprocated and they love her. [SPEAKER_00]: But in her confessional, and it was like, I would never done that.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of moving fast. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, wait, you guys are no need to ask her for what? [SPEAKER_00]: So I think she's having second choices, but they're taking care of her. [SPEAKER_00]: So why would she mess up her source of income in that way? [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm interested to say how that's gonna go.
[SPEAKER_00]: Rich and Felicia. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, Rich is black. [SPEAKER_00]: Felicia is, they say, Italian, AKA, she's white, right, but they're from New Orleans. [SPEAKER_00]: So he keeps saying repeatedly, like, oh, I don't have a problem. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't have a problem. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think there's a problem with interracial, without being an interracial couple.
[SPEAKER_00]: But because he's saying a lot, I think it's going to be an issue. [SPEAKER_00]: But the problem is we finally meet Felicia's family, because just Felicia, when she talks from jail, she does have a black cent, which is always kind of difficult because especially [SPEAKER_00]: But when we meet her family I'm like, are they cosplaying as black?
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, one of the ladies had dreads, I'm so confused by this family, but that's what makes love after luck was so great. [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone is just in their raw element. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not people that are out there. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, I'm here to impress and have a good image because I'm going to be an influencer.
[SPEAKER_00]: After they're just in their raw form and half the time, my mouth is on the floor. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what is happening? [SPEAKER_00]: right now. [SPEAKER_00]: So, that's it guys. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're looking for where to watch, um, lower the lookup, it is on VTV. [SPEAKER_00]: If only had, um, one episode so you can go check it out and it comes out on Fridays.
