Against the Current Review | Episode 194

🍵 This week on Tea & Soju, Liliana is joined by special guest Angie to chat about the historical C-drama Against the Current!

At its heart, this is a story about women navigating the challenges, expectations and restrictions placed upon them by the world around them. We're discussing the struggles they face, their journeys towards finding their own place, and the strength it takes to push back against the current.

Of course, there's also a little romance along the way! ❤️ But with so much more to explore, we're looking at how the relationships, characters and wider themes come together to tell this story.
What did we think of the drama's portrayal of women's struggles? How did we feel about the characters and their journeys? And did Against the Current manage to leave a lasting impression on us?
Join us as we share our thoughts, opinions and takeaways in another Tea & Soju drama review!

Make yourself a cuppa, get comfy, and come join the conversation!
