Episode 156 - Armageddon pt 3 – Ghaz goes all in on Hades, and Yarrick goes all in on pissing Ghaz off.

[SPEAKER_01]: The third and the third and fourth, and we'll talk about these in later cast, but later the third and fourth.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's where Victoria's Falls are, the Businga Plains, the Bangalore La Wetlands, a bunch of others. [SPEAKER_00]: It's also got some of the better run national parks in Africa and on top that country's really, really safe. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's kind of checks all the boxes. [SPEAKER_00]: Right, Southern Spide of Africa, Zambia boasts a really remarkable collection of wildlife, elephants, lions, hippos, apes, wildebeests, doesn't stop.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think they have 750 species of bird. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and one of the largest bat migrations on earth. [SPEAKER_00]: So it got a lot of stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Although you can also see lepards, but then they're not at a zoo. [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know about my opinion of a leopard without metal between me and leopard.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't want anything that eats things. [SPEAKER_01]: like that are me without something between me. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I go with you because I'm faster than you. [SPEAKER_00]: So we're fine. [SPEAKER_01]: I like I just have to push Brad down just a little bit. [SPEAKER_01]: He might not get back up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Push down my legs or twice the length of your since just they like, oh, I run away Brad's back there being and by the way, if I was the leopard and you're good two of us Which ones the better snack? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm also full of death. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that could like a spoiler alert. [SPEAKER_00]: So on that note, this is why it's a funny part about that. [SPEAKER_00]: Zambia is known for walking safaris. [SPEAKER_00]: So if you don't hop in a Jeep and roll around, you walk everywhere, which is great because I've actually done this type of thing before.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's really nice. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, sometimes when you're in a truck, you don't really notice the stuff that's around you. [SPEAKER_00]: People can point, oh, that plant is there and you go, oh. [SPEAKER_00]: a plant. [SPEAKER_00]: It's different when you actually touch it, especially in like antmounds and some of them just like remnants of animal kills that kind of stuff.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a lot cooler to see it when you're on foot. [SPEAKER_00]: The other cool thing is there's a massive chunk there called this NBC and this NBC, it's this giant river that runs through the plains and you can do this one on canoe or boat, [SPEAKER_00]: I would vote Boat because there's a ton of hippos in it, so I vote Boat.

[SPEAKER_00]: But do you canoe? [SPEAKER_00]: If you want to do canoe. [SPEAKER_00]: But because of the size of the zombies, and the importance of it, every animal has to come down to it. [SPEAKER_00]: So you're getting, you know, be on it. [SPEAKER_00]: You'll see the leopard. [SPEAKER_00]: You'll see the lions, wild dogs, hippos, elephants.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everything comes down to the waterway, because, you know, water equal life, or in bread's case, [SPEAKER_00]: He's like lots of people live on this stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: But he's literally so you guys don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: He just held up a die, Dr. Pepper. [SPEAKER_00]: So, if you're looking to do a safari in Africa, Zambi is one of the better countries to go.

[SPEAKER_00]: They've also got a very good tradition of preserve. [SPEAKER_00]: In the sense that you don't have to worry if you go there about, am I actually going somewhere where they're exploiting people or they're exploiting the animals? [SPEAKER_00]: And they have a rather low tourist rate, too.

[SPEAKER_00]: So there's a lot of things that kind of go right for the country. [SPEAKER_00]: So, check out Zambi's. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, you're not going to have to speak to us right now, like you have to go away.

[SPEAKER_00]: But outside of that though, if you don't want to talk to us, there's a lot of other people that are talking to. [SPEAKER_00]: Learn about more, talk about books, especially the books. [SPEAKER_00]: The thing to remember about 40K lore is there's over 400 Black Library novels. [SPEAKER_00]: People will claim they've read them all.

[SPEAKER_00]: They haven't. [SPEAKER_00]: They just haven't. [SPEAKER_00]: And even if they haven't, they don't have recall of all of them. [SPEAKER_00]: So one of the challenges you do have is if there's a subject matter that you like, finding people who can really give you advice on this book, school, that book's good, or if you just want to learn more about it, go this route, can be challenging, and the best way to place the find that is forums.

[SPEAKER_00]: And your forum options usually are read it. [SPEAKER_00]: So, uh, so I please, [SPEAKER_00]: We've done a really good job there. [SPEAKER_00]: We've got great literature form. [SPEAKER_00]: Just to give you more comments, hey, I really like the white scars, even though they've been written about them in a while.

[SPEAKER_00]: Can you help me learn more about the white scars? [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, here are some books where they appear. [SPEAKER_00]: They're all in the hairsty. [SPEAKER_00]: So, but with that, let's get into the second one of our [SPEAKER_00]: quick just reminder to everybody for anyone who's a big fan of this war.

[SPEAKER_00]: This does get red cond a little bit so we've said it every cast is really quickly when a point out it has been red cond a few times because this lore dates back to 1992. [SPEAKER_00]: So if we say something and you're like hey I don't remember that being in the case it might be because I pulled it out of the epic [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's cool.

[SPEAKER_00]: And like the models were hilarious. [SPEAKER_00]: Before we begin, Brad brought up a really good point before the cast started that last week, we were talking about Hell's Reach and kind of lost over old em shorts. [SPEAKER_00]: Now they're fine. [SPEAKER_00]: We didn't sell em short, but we skipped over the end a bit of it kind of quickly.

[SPEAKER_00]: So to remind everyone, Hell's Reach was, it's actually, it's actually, it's actually west of Haiti's run a planet so I can use North East Southwest. [SPEAKER_00]: No, we can't, it doesn't make sense. [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, Josh, we shouldn't. [SPEAKER_01]: We can all day long. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, instead, I'm just gonna use random ones.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's just as I can. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's talk at O'Hell's Reach off, because I got pretty psyched about it, because I didn't think we did injustice because of the fact that effectively, they got the rally speech from Yark, and basically we were using all the tactics he was using. [SPEAKER_01]: They pulled, they're biker gangs out of that, you know, the bottom of the hives, they were doing basically, he just sent them the playbook.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the horse were actually bouncing off Hell's Reach for quite a bit with some of the yorks in the story is going, maybe we should just go somewhere else and just beat them up because these guys aren't fighting right basically. [SPEAKER_01]: And then they got the great idea. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, how about if we just take all of our weird boys together?

[SPEAKER_01]: And just mind or everybody inside Hell's Reach. [SPEAKER_01]: And they would, that sounds awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: And the people in Hell's Reach are like, there's nothing you can do. [SPEAKER_01]: We are behind our fortified walls. [SPEAKER_01]: We're winning this and then all of them pooped their pants and just sat there and stared at walls because they got exploded.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then they put up less of a defense because if you stare at nothing while you put your pants, you have a harder time fighting back. [SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of hilarious because they were just were winning. [SPEAKER_00]: We've got this. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they were suicide bombing the York's the point.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Orcs were like, should we even bother with this anymore? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, maybe these guys were too tough. [SPEAKER_00]: And the weird boys went, uh, just were just going to lobotomize all of them from afar. [SPEAKER_00]: And they were going to try that one. [SPEAKER_00]: And they did it in the whole city, stop fighting.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're just walked in there and just were bonking heads. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, our sport now. [SPEAKER_01]: They were putting up a wild defense. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it was equal to the 80s defense, you know, at the time, because they were just told again, they were, hey, bad, can I borrow your homework real quick?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but change a little bit and they just crossed out Yorick and put Ted at the top of the playbook. [SPEAKER_01]: And they were, again, they were winning on that. [SPEAKER_01]: And well, then they weren't. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but with that though, we should jump back over to the part I think most of you are here for.

[SPEAKER_00]: Gas, Hades and gas. [SPEAKER_00]: So, gas. [SPEAKER_00]: Gas is the biggest, the smartest and the meanest ork to ever live. [SPEAKER_00]: Would you say if you ask him brutal but kind of? [SPEAKER_00]: And his plan of conquering Armageddon was going really well. [SPEAKER_00]: He'd outsmarted all of the humans there by attaching less as a standard orc mob and more as an orc army.

[SPEAKER_00]: And with pump the brakes, be dog. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: This yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It's organized by orc standards. [SPEAKER_01]: This wasn't like a tactical ninja strike. [SPEAKER_01]: This is orcs. [SPEAKER_01]: Do we orky stuff, but do we think better they did it more orky?

[SPEAKER_00]: It's the whole thing of I play a lot of orcs and I or noi bread when I play my orcs because he wants me to play them very tactically and I just refuse to have some, I will use little bits of tactics, but I just feel like as an orc player if I play very tactically, I'm not doing an honor to the orcs.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I play gas level tactics. [SPEAKER_00]: Brad plays kind of sad tactics where he's always hard. [SPEAKER_00]: They do, you hide your works. [SPEAKER_00]: They're like, they actually, and they wait for the most appetite to spring a trap. [SPEAKER_00]: I refuse to give this to you. [SPEAKER_01]: You just use the save argument and think that Elintus, he goes, yeah, you turned every RV you play into Elder.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no matter who they are. [SPEAKER_00]: The the irony is I turned it on me playing the orcs, which doesn't go well sometimes like sometimes it's like, oh, I just got tabled. [SPEAKER_00]: Huh. [SPEAKER_00]: Turns out. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, probably should be here. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, screw that crap.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not a coward, but guess it's a thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Guys is also not super happy. [SPEAKER_01]: He sent over someone to take care of this and in taking care of it, got his head chopped off. [SPEAKER_01]: Not super excited. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, this is where it gets full or because at this point, gas is kicking the shit out of the entire planet, except for right here.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's winning everywhere. [SPEAKER_00]: Everything is going well. [SPEAKER_00]: He's nothing all the hype's down. [SPEAKER_00]: He can't even shoot him in the jungle. [SPEAKER_00]: Just leave this alone. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But the problem with his with Google hard having his head chopped off and the human shoe chop is head off holding up the power claw.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now there's also the legend of this one guy over at Hayes. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't don't put him down on this. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not like he's holding it up. [SPEAKER_01]: He haven't grafted to his old busted arm. [SPEAKER_00]: And so the issue he's starting to run into is the term the words of, yeah, gas is the greatest, but what about this human?

[SPEAKER_00]: So flip side is york knows the best solution here is the frustrate orcs. [SPEAKER_00]: That's how you beat orcs because orcs like a good fight. [SPEAKER_00]: If you hit him with brute force, they hit back with more brute force, but if you trick them and trap them, then they get sloppy, which is what his hive was doing.

[SPEAKER_01]: And also the react to it because they get pins because you're not giving them a proper fight. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so what Yark was doing a lot of, as he was using lightning strikes, I would often buy with suicide charges into them, then they retreat back through mine fields and kill zones.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the Orcs always followed and always got blown up. [SPEAKER_00]: And this works really well against a regular war boss. [SPEAKER_00]: Unless though, you get a war boss who understands tactics with a K. [SPEAKER_01]: So, I keep switching between brutal but cunning and cunning per brutal because those are enhancements for orgs.

[SPEAKER_00]: But also I'll just describe the orgs. [SPEAKER_00]: Tactics. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So, guys, decides to take over. [SPEAKER_00]: And he breaks out his own cunning assaults. [SPEAKER_00]: He decides, I can do my own fates and lightning assaults. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to trick the imperial defenders into doing what I want them to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, this fails miserably. [SPEAKER_00]: I think that this Yars looks like a ghost. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, no. [SPEAKER_01]: None of these things are happening, but they describe it as gas making fates and doing all this. [SPEAKER_01]: And Yars saying absolutely no one's allowed to move unless I tell them they're allowed to move any edge.

[SPEAKER_01]: But in my mind, it's just a bunch of guys doing karate cutters out in front of the walls. [SPEAKER_01]: We know it's going to fight now. [SPEAKER_00]: I view it as a bunch of orcs running up holding a sign, not a trap. [SPEAKER_00]: And I just because they're also, because by the way, if you guys haven't seen people, this is how you model orcs.

[SPEAKER_00]: The people who will do this, there was a guy who's a very famous one where he bought a land raider cut it up and attached the pieces to the orcs. [SPEAKER_00]: The orcs could make like a shell like the Roman turtle. [SPEAKER_00]: And it says, land-rater, no orcs inside on the outside of us and like that, it's one of the best models I've ever seen in my life, and it breaks up into orcs boys.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've never seen something that's cool in my life, and I love him from making it, but that's how I view it. [SPEAKER_00]: But to Brad's point, yeah, Yark went, no, no one go out there. [SPEAKER_00]: So this pisses Gazz off. [SPEAKER_00]: So Gazz goes, all right, watch this then, and Gazz goes, I'm showing up.

[SPEAKER_00]: into the lines. [SPEAKER_00]: This does cause some problems because gas just starts slaughtering everyone outside the wall and the org starts now advancing into the hive. [SPEAKER_00]: It is a conquer the outer hive. [SPEAKER_00]: and y'all can't do anything about that because when gasses are round, the orcs around him are better, just like in the game.

[SPEAKER_00]: So he can fight the orcs little bits here and there, but gasses also too cunning and too tactical to fall for his tricks. [SPEAKER_01]: This is also a big deal on this because gasses start to realize in which normal alerts would have never noticed. [SPEAKER_01]: that when he's sending in all the burner bombers and all of his planes, that hey, these are not getting instantly blown up like they usually do.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, which I love the tactic of, and they will probably work sometime, but they were actually getting actually good success and he realized, oh, I could do more of this because they're not able to stop it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so this is one of my absolute favorite things of all the stories.

[SPEAKER_00]: So guys is watching these anti-air defenses. [SPEAKER_00]: Not be all that, that's great. [SPEAKER_00]: So here we go, it's all right. [SPEAKER_00]: What if I break out the cunningest plan? [SPEAKER_00]: And because he realizes that you have a big wall in front of you. [SPEAKER_00]: He can't go on to it.

[SPEAKER_00]: He can't go through it, but he can't go over it. [SPEAKER_00]: And I know a few of you get that reference, and they're mad at me for doing it, and I'm sorry, but deal with it. [SPEAKER_00]: We're all parents, move on your day. [SPEAKER_00]: So Gaz goes Operation Market Garden times a million.

[SPEAKER_00]: He takes his whole Air Force and turns it into just dropships, and Yark and them are sitting there, they look out, and the sky in front of them goes black, because it's justork planes, plus they're exhaust, and gases plan was I'll just fly over it, and I'll drop all of the commando's out on the top, and [SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to work our way down and just open the door.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we led by, I was just want to say, you have to give, who's leading this Blood X Cabello. [SPEAKER_01]: I love me some Blood X's. [SPEAKER_01]: I love the fact that he has the most ridiculous name since money Python names. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's Blood X. [SPEAKER_00]: The Blood X General's name is Strutter Gum.

[SPEAKER_00]: See, cos it's not, it's not, of course it is. [SPEAKER_00]: Was it got tactics? [SPEAKER_00]: And the idea was the commenos will fight their way through the walls and get an open it. [SPEAKER_00]: So just turning this into a two-front war for them. [SPEAKER_00]: Yark though decides, I'm not going down like this.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he looks up and he realizes that the aircraft bearing down the hive, he does up and that they're anti-aircraft to stop it. [SPEAKER_00]: Or does he? [SPEAKER_00]: Because Yark realizes these planes are doing blue angel formation. [SPEAKER_00]: They're freaking wing-tipped a wing-tip.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he doesn't [SPEAKER_00]: brain does have a bunch of bass lists. [SPEAKER_00]: So he has the bass list rotate all their barrels up and just start shooting into the sky. [SPEAKER_00]: I just love that he's shooting our tailory in the general direction of science and this is good and bad because on the plus side it does start blasting the planes out of the sky.

[SPEAKER_00]: on the downside, baseless aren't armed with deweapons. [SPEAKER_00]: So what goes up is coming down. [SPEAKER_00]: And so all of these plants are into V1, V2 rockets and they're landing all over the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: It does kill a lot of the commando's, but not all of them. [SPEAKER_00]: And to thousands.

[SPEAKER_01]: A crap ton of their infantry also, because they're still exploding planes. [SPEAKER_00]: The next part though is even more f-up because about thousands of these commandos do we land and they start making their way down from the upper spires. [SPEAKER_00]: At the immediately because commandos are very sneaky so they go into the tunnels because they know it tells an air ducts that way the humans can't find them and they're going to find a way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yarwick though had a plan for this. [SPEAKER_00]: So Yarwick goes and gets a rag tag fighting for us. [SPEAKER_00]: Get the thing about commandos, remember. [SPEAKER_00]: Orcs are powered by belief and despite being... [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of purple on the commandos. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you very much, sir.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Orcs believe something it will come true. [SPEAKER_00]: Orc commandos believe their hard to see. [SPEAKER_01]: No, it's not. [SPEAKER_01]: It is, but it's not. [SPEAKER_01]: All of these ducks are just poison awful. [SPEAKER_01]: Everybody that works there has basically huge levels of resistance to everything. [SPEAKER_01]: They also know them in and out. [SPEAKER_01]: But they're also like wild drug addicts does not die.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you begin there. [SPEAKER_00]: Your first part of there was wild. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't have resistance to anything. [SPEAKER_00]: They're all on their own. [SPEAKER_00]: And they go in with knives and pistols and york into deal with work commandos. [SPEAKER_00]: And what happens later is all the commandos are dead. [SPEAKER_00]: every single one of them. [SPEAKER_01]: So meth stuff workers, you had to also, they talk about, they just keep blowing up the tunnels because they know where everyone, all the junctions.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is why those of us who've lived in major cities understand meth person with a knife, you just give them a lot of space because apparently they can take out an orc. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, who know, and I mean, it's an enclosed space that I will say that's the absolute nightmare of fighting up someone on math is like they're fully cranked on math.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're holding a knife and we're in an enclosed space that's not going to go well. [SPEAKER_00]: So this fails gas is screaming Matt losing his mind that so gas goes that's it. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to blow the hive up. [SPEAKER_00]: and he brings gargants out a bunch of them, basically on team, F. Your walls watch this.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he starts marching the gargants towards it. [SPEAKER_00]: Only to discover that Yark had another trick up his sleeve. [SPEAKER_00]: Yarak had been storing a bunch of anti-titan weaponry and around the exact same time, the volcanic activity the planet was kicking up really bad. [SPEAKER_00]: Wow, you helped us out.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was love that it's also the season for this though. [SPEAKER_01]: With you have a season of what the crap it was happening to your world, that's still one of my favorites. [SPEAKER_00]: You're like, what it's the season of this, [SPEAKER_00]: Why do you people live here? [SPEAKER_00]: This place sucks.

[SPEAKER_00]: And as this is happening, Yarric leads again, suicide charges out of the walls to just blow up the walkers before they can close the wall. [SPEAKER_00]: And gas just loses it. [SPEAKER_00]: And to his credit though, gas labels Yarric what's called a grud, which is an orc word for antagonist.

[SPEAKER_00]: He becomes, [SPEAKER_00]: Guys is Cobra Commander, Mumra, Dr. Claw, Cran, whatever you want to go with. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I really identify with Mumra. [SPEAKER_01]: The Ever Living, you are not. [SPEAKER_01]: No, he also has a pyramid that he doesn't go outside of very often. [SPEAKER_00]: That's true, but he's Ever Living.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're the Ever Dying. [SPEAKER_00]: And he sent the rest of his forces out the conquer arm again. [SPEAKER_00]: And they are being successful because the defenders elsewhere are falling apart.

[SPEAKER_00]: They don't trashed. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And they're right. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's, once hell's reach goes down with the psychic attack, absolutely everywhere else is getting a Rick rolled across the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: And the next major hive to go down is going to be acaron.

[SPEAKER_00]: An acaron is in the middle of Armageddon's secundance. [SPEAKER_00]: It's very landlocked, it's dead center. [SPEAKER_00]: It's part of us this southernmost, but acarons, the main one. [SPEAKER_00]: And acaron is the one that they've been sending a lot of civilians to because of its location.

[SPEAKER_00]: So anyone that they could get out has gone there. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just really this falls. [SPEAKER_00]: This is the end of the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: And gas is sending a force there. [SPEAKER_00]: Genghis Khan style, just remove it. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about this place. [SPEAKER_00]: I want it burnt to the ground.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is not a conqueror. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there was no more surrendering or negotiating or anything. [SPEAKER_00]: This is. [SPEAKER_00]: Burn it down. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to finish up with the Hades. [SPEAKER_00]: Make sure that thing doesn't exist. [SPEAKER_00]: So the Orcs form outside.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's just sea of green and mech as far as anyone can see. [SPEAKER_00]: And as they go to a tad, a meteor swarm actually becomes out of the sky and starts blowing up their lines. [SPEAKER_00]: But wait, it wasn't meteors. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was actually drop pods from the blood angels.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Commander Dante, and it blood angels, and Salamander's, and absolutely no one else. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, there was. [SPEAKER_00]: I was there was, Samper, anyone be here. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it begins with a you. [SPEAKER_01]: There was an end with a. [SPEAKER_01]: Tra Marine. [SPEAKER_01]: There was like six ultra marines.

[SPEAKER_01]: They sent one squad. [SPEAKER_01]: There was so double. [SPEAKER_01]: Tra Marines. [SPEAKER_01]: It was 70% blood angels 25 really helped me out. [SPEAKER_00]: Can you do it? [SPEAKER_00]: Can you spend counter assault without you? [SPEAKER_00]: No, you can't. [SPEAKER_00]: So you gotta bring the ultra marines.

[SPEAKER_00]: So there we're there, they got to be there. [SPEAKER_00]: If there's a major, if there's going to be a major victory for the Imperial, we know who has to be there. [SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, it's just not really possible. [SPEAKER_00]: They had one ultramarine that photo bomb to everybody when they were taking pictures.

[SPEAKER_00]: What's up, dudes? [SPEAKER_00]: Are we winning? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I actually met all into this attack. [SPEAKER_00]: I was originally going to write a whole big thing about the great offense of the ultramarines here, but I realized I actually the level of hate mail I would get would be problematic.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I will admit, yeah, the ultramarines were present. [SPEAKER_00]: This was Dante. [SPEAKER_01]: Hi, the kind of present. [SPEAKER_00]: They were present. [SPEAKER_00]: They actually were the salamiders. [SPEAKER_00]: They were about tied. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, the most important part here is that I mean, the salamiders had less guys there, the salamada, I'm going to give credit to my voice the salamanders, but Dante wrecked, we'll get into that in just a second.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure the salamanders were there to burn innocent civilians for no reason. [SPEAKER_01]: As per their tradition, the orc natural enemy heavy flavors showed up in mass will be right back after a quick break. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So Dante was one of the ones who saw the alerts coming in, both from the satellites got that wrecked by the world killer, but also from the request from Yark.

[SPEAKER_00]: Dante saw, oh crap, where's Armageddon? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh crap, it's that close to soul. [SPEAKER_00]: We're on our way. [SPEAKER_00]: And he grabbed the salamanders. [SPEAKER_00]: And of course, the ultramarines, because he needed support to make this thing actually functional. [SPEAKER_00]: And they rushed over there.

[SPEAKER_00]: and this plan went perfectly. [SPEAKER_00]: Dante hits the back side of it like a monster. [SPEAKER_00]: The orcs were running forward as the Blaine Jules land behind. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think that in this goes with Dante, quite a bit, and his story is could content. [SPEAKER_01]: He's definitely got the wallet that says bad motherfucker on it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Dante put his boots and mighty ass kicking on and pumped them up to [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it is brutality, so they land the back side of this and just start wrecking forward. [SPEAKER_00]: And at the same time, because of what they do, this, the orcs, the rear of the orcs, is where all their artillery is, so they take out the artillery, meaning that the defenders in Akaron no longer have big guns hitting the wall.

[SPEAKER_00]: So now they can come out of shelter and start firing, trapping the orcs between [SPEAKER_00]: heavy gunfire from the walls of acaron, and a charging will go with motivated blood angel force air quotes there. [SPEAKER_00]: They're those. [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of guys that succumbed to the black rage that day, it was, yeah, this is insane.

[SPEAKER_00]: They also, by the way, I should have mentioned brought the steel legion with them. [SPEAKER_00]: So the drop pods hit first, but there's more going to come down later, but it's initially to drop pod assault of blood angels, salamanders, and of course ultra marines because [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just thinking about how Dante's really, oh my god, please stop.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm assuming the Dante's give it their speech of, hey, Steel Legion, they're like, well, we're kind of doing this here and in the gauge, but he's like, yeah, you're a whole world's currently being pummeled by arcs and they went, oh, let's get to go. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's get going now.

[SPEAKER_00]: So this, the word of acron ends very quickly. [SPEAKER_00]: Just this is over. [SPEAKER_00]: Then the space Marines continue bringing down more and more people and start spreading out of where this is the part where the Steel Legion [SPEAKER_00]: That's what the Steel Legion just started rolling over their old planet, just wrecking Orcs and you were in everywhere.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I should point something out here. [SPEAKER_00]: This is a space marine force of three chapters and Steel Legion. [SPEAKER_00]: You're looking at, when the space marine's are in the thousands, not even, the Steel Legion probably in May, and it's again tens of thousands. [SPEAKER_00]: there's millions of works on this planet.

[SPEAKER_00]: This should have just been a counter attack followed by the orcs going cute backhand go away. [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, it should have been. [SPEAKER_01]: But by the thing on this is the orcs were suffering from their own success at this point in time because yeah, it's been wrecking so hard that it was individual plans effectively mopping up and fighting over who gets to steal the shiny things.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm all over the place and that's all my point is that what this should have been Dante and team show up. [SPEAKER_00]: They win at high vacker on and then they look up kind of like the end of return of the king We're then all of the forces of Mordor walk out and go. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, there's also all them [SPEAKER_00]: This isn't going to end well, that's how it should have gone, but because gas was so distracted by Hades, and because to your point that allowed all the orc plants to break up, it became more of a mop up operation for the Imperial forces, and they were able to separate the snake bites from the badminton, the evil sons, and fight them individually, never fighting all them at once, which would have been awful.

[SPEAKER_00]: They also because Noah's paying attention gained, you know, orbital supremacy. [SPEAKER_00]: So there's all their ships right there. [SPEAKER_00]: So there's also orbital bombarding everyone that they need to. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is all made possible by Yark. [SPEAKER_01]: It's Yark because Gaz wouldn't have let this happen except he no longer gives a shit about what's happening on Armageddon.

[SPEAKER_01]: He cares about. [SPEAKER_01]: Hades, actually doesn't even care about Hades. [SPEAKER_01]: He cares about choking york out. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what he cares about. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, all right. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, as this is going on though, guys is finally getting some success. [SPEAKER_00]: She has been focusing only on Hades and york.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the truth of matter is that she still is going to overwhelm her. [SPEAKER_01]: He's going to win and he's there inside the city. [SPEAKER_01]: He's destroyed effectively the outer walls. [SPEAKER_01]: He's now working on the inner walls and they are backs to the wall losing. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, for those who don't have the phrase.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, because York's whole thing has always been time. [SPEAKER_00]: Come on, how do you not know Latin? [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, why, why, why would I know the dead language? [SPEAKER_00]: Tempets were, come down, that wasn't, that wasn't an order in a sandwich. [SPEAKER_00]: It just, these are important quotes.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, the flip side is the city's lost. [SPEAKER_00]: Basically, the only part of the city that Yorick still has is the underhive, which the irony of is hilarious, that all of the people from the upper hive and up in the underhive, [SPEAKER_00]: being saved by the people of the underhive from the orc menace.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just assuming someone from the upper city just looks down and goes, oh, this place is terrible. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's just finally for you guys to live down here and there's a bunch of underhive gangers like saving his life from orcs going, yeah, thanks by the way. [SPEAKER_00]: but just before Gazz can really strike his final blow, Dante and them arrive.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Gazz looks around and realizes I should have been paying attention. [SPEAKER_01]: So we leave effectively. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, I do love the fact that he 100% for his dumps them. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, guys, I'm pretty tired now. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna go home. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll get you guys just really grateful.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it goes out. [SPEAKER_00]: he organizes what organizes record orders this massive counterattack all over the planet which just kind of does back foot the imperial defenders and then him though there's going to his spacehole and just blink out of the system and disappear. [SPEAKER_01]: Well you had to remember he also tells people I'm going to get more orgues.

[SPEAKER_01]: Doos is yeah figure it out you'll be fine. [SPEAKER_00]: And this does actually some of the works are smartly over the jungle. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll give them a second. [SPEAKER_00]: But the disappearance of gas has an immediate effect. [SPEAKER_00]: First off, this warp storm stops completely.

[SPEAKER_00]: So now all the internal effects of the fog, it just took off. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So all the imperial defenders are pouring in because there is basically a traffic jam trying to commit to the system because there's a warp storm. [SPEAKER_00]: The system lifts and all the guys go, we, and they're all just that you clear that bit of traffic.

[SPEAKER_00]: There you go. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm in. [SPEAKER_00]: So, the orcs on the planet to Brad's point, they're just told, hey, make this place suck for a while, so they do, and most of them, the smart ones go to the equatorial jungle, because even the imperele defenders can't get into that, the other ones find themselves staying in the middle of a plane surrounded by really upset imperele defenders, including a squads by the way, and the original writing, the squads showed up with their trains.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're in store for you every day. [SPEAKER_00]: Commander Dante declares himself commander of the plant forces and the best act of the entire war. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, second method, best act of the whole war was the drop pot of salt. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is the second thing that was good here. [SPEAKER_00]: The first one. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: The second best one is the funnier one where he charges [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks. [SPEAKER_00]: Everything. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He calls the rest. [SPEAKER_00]: Assassination, dereliction of duty, both easy to cowardice, check, embezzlement and imperial funds, probably.

[SPEAKER_00]: And a bunch of other ones. [SPEAKER_00]: But Von Straub and this will come up in the later cast escapes. [SPEAKER_00]: He actually grows a pair shoots a bunch of people and then flees on a land speeder, which they later find crash in the middle of the desert. [SPEAKER_00]: But nobody. [SPEAKER_00]: See you with him in the other time.

[SPEAKER_00]: Dante also relieves york of command, but in a good way, not in the, like, you're bad at this, more and late. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, man, you look tired. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, how are you still alive? [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, would you like to sit down? [SPEAKER_00]: And york goes. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And for y'all, this is a nice thing to do because he can't finally take a rest because the ultramarines are there. [SPEAKER_00]: And so the planets and good hands. [SPEAKER_00]: Not the hands. [SPEAKER_00]: Look, okay, let's call this out. [SPEAKER_00]: There's three chapters there. [SPEAKER_00]: One of them drinks the blood of people.

[SPEAKER_00]: The other one burns random children to death and the third one is the ultramarines. [SPEAKER_01]: Sure, we're all saved by the fact that the ultramarines sent down a barbershop quartet. [SPEAKER_00]: Which which will run the planet better than the entire blood and blood and you'll chat there It kind of sucks.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's just because it's getting the blood. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah Dante Dante Dante Whatever. [SPEAKER_00]: There we go. [SPEAKER_01]: We both are We both read it If you're gonna try to use facts and logic against me. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't really know what I'm gonna do [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[SPEAKER_00]: Meanwhile, all that's out of galaxy, jazz is having some problems. [SPEAKER_00]: His mostly, he's got some headaches, bad headaches, like really throbbing headaches. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's causing some issues. [SPEAKER_00]: Having left the planet of Armageddon, mad doc is trying to work on him, that fix the headaches.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Mad Doc is actually manipulating him again, because he's back. [SPEAKER_00]: Remember Mad Doc got pushed away for McCarrie, but now, because at Mad Docs, they want to put the Adam on times thing on his skull, guys goes to Mad Doc, okay, make my brain not hurt so bad. [SPEAKER_00]: So Mad Docs there, and he has manipulating him.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this is because Mad Doc was always determined to be a super war boss, but he can't be. [SPEAKER_00]: because he doesn't develop into a super war boss, and you'll never leave the orcs unless you are the biggest. [SPEAKER_00]: You all set me the strongest and get to be the smartest, but if you're not the biggest, no one cares.

[SPEAKER_00]: Guys is the biggest. [SPEAKER_00]: So he, his whole plan is to kind of be, what's the guy in the Twin Towers? [SPEAKER_00]: It is manipulating the king. [SPEAKER_00]: They're going to tell you. [SPEAKER_00]: He's trying to warm him up. [SPEAKER_00]: That's really what his goal is here. [SPEAKER_00]: So Maddock gets gas to sort of formally in the next invasion of Armageddon.

[SPEAKER_00]: And gas starts telling everyone, yeah, I'm going back to Armageddon. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the first one was just a test run. [SPEAKER_00]: We can go back there. [SPEAKER_00]: And the other sub bosses are like, yeah, let's go back. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it was a good fight, but to do this, they need more forces.

[SPEAKER_00]: So they have to make a stop. [SPEAKER_00]: and they go to the world of Golgotha, kind of sort of, because this is actually this drove me nuts and writing the notes by the way, because early 90s, it's a squads world. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, this is actually the order of operation here shifted and it was driving me absolutely insane by the way, because I have early 90s literature.

[SPEAKER_00]: It actually wasn't the first stop, initially. [SPEAKER_00]: It was the second stop, then it became the first stop. [SPEAKER_00]: This is, this just pissed me off. [SPEAKER_00]: But originally, yeah, this was a squat planet that actually became a fight that they fought on. [SPEAKER_00]: Later, it just didn't appear a world that they conquer.

[SPEAKER_00]: GW changed it, just calling it out, but it's annoyed me. [SPEAKER_00]: Fine. [SPEAKER_00]: But while their McCarrie comes back, and so Grotsnik is trying to get, got gas to be his puppet. [SPEAKER_00]: McCarrie, though, doesn't like this, because McCarrie had shared the vision with gas of gas conquering the galaxy, not just one world.

[SPEAKER_00]: So McCarrie confronts gas. [SPEAKER_00]: This is one of the, this it, by the way, is in, for this we will know that this is in the at the gas novel. [SPEAKER_00]: And this whole scene is hilarious. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to try not spoil it. [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm just, you know, we're going to give the Brad version, because in my mind, this is like lay food, singing the song to get started about basically how awesome he is when he's down in the dumps.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a whole bit of percent. [SPEAKER_00]: This fits hilarious. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's just telling him, no, what bites like as, no, what bites like as. [SPEAKER_00]: it a wrestling match. [SPEAKER_00]: No one bites like gas. [SPEAKER_00]: And it does work. [SPEAKER_00]: So, gas eventually goes, you're right.

[SPEAKER_00]: I am, but it takes a weird turn. [SPEAKER_00]: So, gas looks at Macquarie and says, you're right. [SPEAKER_00]: I am the best, and it's shameful that any orc would have to take counsel from the grot. [SPEAKER_00]: even if that grott is right. [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, and gas is not just an orc.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's gas school, Magoon Rock Throcker. [SPEAKER_00]: He wouldn't even take counsel from work and orgork. [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, he doesn't even need the orcs. [SPEAKER_00]: And he tells McCarrie, I'm the idiot. [SPEAKER_00]: You are going to go about to tell them that. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't need you, but also, don't do this.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's sort of what he says is that he doesn't need the gods and he wants Macquarie to tell them that so he kills Macquarie It's a Macquarie can go tell them that crushing his head in the spot and then he gives off to lead the war again This novels hilarious by the third war of Armageddon's even more entertaining about this with Macquarie So we'll get to that we cover the third war, but we should also he's killed the car [SPEAKER_01]: But then McCarrie's just back against me.

[SPEAKER_00]: McCarrie gets to be very entertaining because Corey gas relationship is epic and the fact they took my McCarrie away for 11th edition. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the model's been brought up. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I have glued that flag on 25 times and it looks like garbage now, but I don't care. [SPEAKER_01]: Two times as big as the model.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know, but I'd like my McCarrie. [SPEAKER_00]: Back to Golgotha. [SPEAKER_00]: Rain, big rated guys, he's set to work. [SPEAKER_00]: He's gathered a ton of work. [SPEAKER_00]: Just his, basically a thing about guys is because now he believes in himself, he becomes a beacon again. [SPEAKER_00]: So Orcs start flooding to Golgotha.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just, you know, he conquered Golgotha and their work works there. [SPEAKER_00]: He is now a beacon. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's also one of the beacons is he meets the great Mech ork boy Orken meetings. [SPEAKER_00]: I like this name, as I like this name. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just so ridiculous.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's very orgy. [SPEAKER_01]: I just, but it's so ridiculous for me. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, really, or comedies is the best. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, or comedies is the best. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, or comedies is really important because or comedies takes a standard ork telepota and makes it more teleporty.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is going to be very important later, because Armageddon's going to know at the incoming threat, but thanks to Orc and Meese, now we can teleport and not just an or, well, as I say, they didn't just teleport a squad. [SPEAKER_01]: They teleported an orc army on the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: So when they get to go Gotha, though they're part of go Gotha, they are doing this.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's fun. [SPEAKER_00]: So, once their gas, they set the work. [SPEAKER_00]: They start building up a bigger and bigger forces more and more technology. [SPEAKER_00]: However, this little bit of a problem was short-term. [SPEAKER_00]: Yarric didn't really like retirement much. [SPEAKER_00]: And after a couple of months, he decided to unretire himself.

[SPEAKER_00]: And really with one purpose in mind, I'm real kill that gas guy. [SPEAKER_00]: Eddie went to the impairments and said, I'm going to kill that gas guy and the impair him went. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's probably. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a fair point.

[SPEAKER_00]: So he begins searching the galaxy for gas. [SPEAKER_00]: thing about an invasion of orcs, especially on like Golgothas, does wasn't being sneaky. [SPEAKER_00]: He basically did it yelling, I'm guys, I'm here, I'm invading the place. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we'll talk about who's not also sneaky.

[SPEAKER_01]: Y'all are quit from doing his defense with his infantry. [SPEAKER_01]: This is that it decided that he was going to take [SPEAKER_01]: Squadrons is super heavy takes with his, by the way, personal pain blade. [SPEAKER_01]: I love everything about having a personal blame. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're not.

[SPEAKER_00]: Tortures. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I mean. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't collect guard. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, my pain blade is a fortress of arrogance. [SPEAKER_00]: If you don't have a fortress of arrogance, why are you even playing guard? [SPEAKER_01]: Also, that's the the most crazy name since my buddy biggest dickest.

[SPEAKER_00]: This really problem is that it should have a three-up involved, but I'm digressing. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, the only issue with this is, Yarric went there to kill Gazz, and he wasn't really looking around very much, and he probably should have checked about how many orcs were on the planet he was attacking.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Yarric and his forces go down there, and they attack Gazz and the guffs, and basically as soon as the battle starts, [SPEAKER_00]: you know, Admiral Akbar shows up in yells, that's our trap. [SPEAKER_00]: Because as he moves in, the evil suns show up. [SPEAKER_00]: And when I say the evil suns, I don't mean a couple of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was actually listed as another war. [SPEAKER_00]: A war of evil suns show up and just start ripping his super heaviest apart. [SPEAKER_00]: because they're always six on penetration shots. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Also, let's talk about it at the time, they talk about there out maneuvering the super heavy tanks by casually moving around because the super heavy tanks move at the speed of smell.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're not fast. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And they also had all of them. [SPEAKER_00]: At the same time in orbit, I guess they didn't scan behind the moon because Gaza's personal spacehole comes sneaking around the side of the moon. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, this is our star. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it blows up the entire fleet in orbit. [SPEAKER_00]: So Yarric is on the planet. [SPEAKER_00]: There is no one in the sky anymore. [SPEAKER_00]: And he is absolutely just getting surrounded by this. [SPEAKER_00]: And the final stages of this, and the story does change a little bit for my knowledge, y'all are dice.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's actually the last thing he sees is a Orc battle fortress running him over, which side note, give me my stupid battle fortresses back, GW. [SPEAKER_00]: It was one of the best parts of the game as an Orc player. [SPEAKER_00]: I want my battle fortress back. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it didn't technically have a model.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was a kit-bass, it was from the best kit batches in the game. [SPEAKER_00]: Orc battle fortresses, bring the rule back. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't get back now. [SPEAKER_00]: It's awesome. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a everyone wins. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, not people who don't play works, but everyone who plays was wins.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it is not. [SPEAKER_00]: I understand why they were banned from every single tournament, but for the few tournaments, they weren't banned from it was a super awesome time. [SPEAKER_00]: If you guys want to talk about look up and work battle fortresses, the rule on it was basically you took anything else and turned it into an orc [SPEAKER_00]: People would combine multiple bane blades into one and that was an orc battle fortress It was fun This game used to be more fun But anyway, so last thing york sees is the battle fortress running him over and anyway, except Because he's back alive and he's inside gats his space hole Hey, he's one of the few people that had the battle loss souls ring for him on terror.

[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_00]: Yep, let's true [SPEAKER_00]: few times now. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, Kifus has had a few times, doesn't he? [SPEAKER_00]: Well, Kifus basically never died. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So, Yeracle Wakens and he's inside Gazz's spacer. [SPEAKER_00]: He's got no power claw and his laser beam eye is missing.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's in Sheen's above a pit. [SPEAKER_00]: He looks up and Gazz's are looking at him and Gazz smiles. [SPEAKER_00]: And his Yeric begins to tell Gazz to go F himself in Ork by the way. [SPEAKER_00]: The Sheen's release in Gazz plummets and do a pit. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it looks around and he decides, all right, I got a plan.

[SPEAKER_00]: He starts killing squigs and then if you guys don't know what squigs look like, they've got this big spine, the back, the couple spines the back of them. [SPEAKER_00]: He then starts building, remember he is one hand. [SPEAKER_00]: He starts with one hand building a ladder out of squigs spines.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then, whether it's big enough, it climbs out of the pit, and it's he climbs up out of the pit, gas is standing there, laughing, and then grabbed the Eric and throws him in with the all the human slaves that are on the space hall, because orcs don't do manual labor. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a grouch job, and gross don't do manual labor that there's slaves around the do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the space [SPEAKER_00]: And as you can imagine, immediately, york goes, we're revolting and all the humans go, fine, they know how this is going to go, like they want to be free and york's a good order, but this is just going to piss off the orcs, and that's going to hurt like real bad hurt too.

[SPEAKER_00]: So. [SPEAKER_00]: Y'all are kids a plan and the plan is let's map out the space hook because we're going to figure out a way and they all start making a map and if look at the map and york decides I know the best place to do over a billion. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to target this one area.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is giant room shaped like an orc skull. [SPEAKER_00]: And we'll go there because that skull is probably a temple to gork and mork. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's where gazz will be. [SPEAKER_00]: And we'll go there and we'll kill gazz. [SPEAKER_00]: And therefore we'll win. [SPEAKER_00]: And all the humans go right.

[SPEAKER_00]: But after we kill him, there's still a few million orcs on this thing. [SPEAKER_00]: What happens to us in New Yorkers? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, we all died then, but we killed guys and they'll go cool. [SPEAKER_00]: Counter-proposal we go to the other part of the map where there's that shuttle that is a human shuttle and we take that and we leave.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we go to, you know, Tara or somewhere nice and tell them about this wall that's coming. [SPEAKER_00]: Thought option B. Yark views this plan as lame and stupid, but eventually does agree that his original plan is not the best. [SPEAKER_00]: Rebellion time. [SPEAKER_00]: They find the ammo dump, which to be fair, the orcs would never guard.

[SPEAKER_00]: Nemo dump, it's Nork thing. [SPEAKER_00]: They would put all the rockets in a pile and so they're with like other things. [SPEAKER_00]: This makes sense and they blow it up. [SPEAKER_00]: and all the orcs are running all over the place. [SPEAKER_00]: The humans begin their escape and they run to the flight deck and they get there and they find the imperial shuttle because remember they couldn't like hop on a burn Obama.

[SPEAKER_00]: They only make them fly as I mean it's made for humans and they get there and unfortunately one of the orcs Max is working on it working on it air quotes. [SPEAKER_00]: He's converting the shuttle into being more orky. [SPEAKER_00]: which means it no longer is sealed to the vacuum of space or can be used by humans.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, back to Plan A, kill gas. [SPEAKER_00]: And Yarric gets everyone super excited. [SPEAKER_00]: All right, we're gonna go and kill gas. [SPEAKER_00]: And before we do this, the most important piece, all of the other rebels change, and they put on all of the red shirts. [SPEAKER_00]: Cause I don't think any of them survive this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yarkin and crew begin this incredible rush towards the temple. [SPEAKER_01]: And as they go, well, by the way, there apparently is a bunch of orcs, which is the entire way that say who's shin up, because they aren't activating stuff, though, oh, it is this process. [SPEAKER_00]: Lowing stuff up and all suicide activations, by the way, it is, when I say everyone dies, it's basically, he starts running and all people around them just keep jumping on the attacking orcs.

[SPEAKER_00]: as they go through. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, there goes Ted like she went and then Ted they're on his team guy and then they're number like you never never knew exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah guy one is dead. [SPEAKER_00]: All right guy two get them. [SPEAKER_00]: All right guy two and much guy 47 got him.

[SPEAKER_00]: they get to the great orc head. [SPEAKER_00]: And unfortunately, it's not a temple. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just the bridge of the ship. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's like three mechs sitting there looking at Yarrard. [SPEAKER_00]: What do you want? [SPEAKER_00]: Yarrard looks around, pretty disappointed, and goes, you know what, somewhere on this ship is guys.

[SPEAKER_00]: So if there's no ship, there's no guys. [SPEAKER_00]: So then the bread's point, he just starts flipping switches like all over the place. [SPEAKER_00]: And I love this story because if you guys know how to work power supplies, they're kind of fun. [SPEAKER_00]: An ork power supplies technically infinite in that if you want more power out of it, just ask for it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Give it to you. [SPEAKER_00]: But it will explode. [SPEAKER_00]: Like Orcs are the origin of the hazardous test. [SPEAKER_00]: That is the most orc thing there is. [SPEAKER_00]: Most Orcs weapons throughout the game have blown up the vehicle that shot them. [SPEAKER_00]: Plasma is adorable.

[SPEAKER_00]: Orcs weapons are much better. [SPEAKER_01]: So he starts to leave though. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so Yark just starts turning everything on, knowing it'll overload the reactor. [SPEAKER_00]: And it does. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the reactor's being exploding. [SPEAKER_00]: And Yark stands on the bridge and he watches as his giant fireball.

[SPEAKER_01]: He does like either at 80s or 90s, like actually hero and just planks out his arms, just ready. [SPEAKER_00]: Coming in being his soul to the emperor. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he does. [SPEAKER_00]: He sent us up his family and for giving my soul to the emperor. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so proud of me.

[SPEAKER_00]: I am so proud of me. [SPEAKER_00]: And then he wakes up again. [SPEAKER_00]: And it wasn't a dream, by the way, that this thing didn't happen. [SPEAKER_00]: And now, well, well, don't go with he wakes up. [SPEAKER_01]: He wakes up with all of his bionic. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, everything's awesome.

[SPEAKER_00]: Reattached. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he wakes up. [SPEAKER_00]: He's got his laser eye and his claws. [SPEAKER_00]: He's in a cell, but the doors unlocked. [SPEAKER_00]: So, Walks of Dory, Unlocks of Dory steps out and there are thousands upon thousands of Orcs looking at him, cheering his mind, there's a silence, there's a gap, he looks at them, they look at him and then they start cheering and he's just like, I'll come on and then they parked to give him a path through.

[SPEAKER_00]: He has to walk through these Orcs who would legitimately [SPEAKER_00]: screaming and yelling, cheering him on until he eventually gets to this shuttle bay, work Gaza standing. [SPEAKER_01]: We also, they rebate the shuttle for him. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, gas is standing and I love it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yars like, I have to fight gas.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to get wrecked. [SPEAKER_01]: But no, Yark literally gets told. [SPEAKER_01]: I've assumed he gets padded on his head and those good enemies are hard to fight. [SPEAKER_00]: Tune enemies is hard to find. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like, yes, yes, yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And then it goes, go back to Armageddon and get ready for me because I'm expecting a proper fight.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're not return yet. [SPEAKER_00]: I just sense Yark on his way. [SPEAKER_00]: The Yark just gives us, all right. [SPEAKER_00]: So to be fair, Yark does go back to Armageddon with a like, ah, this is about to suck guys. [SPEAKER_00]: I have some serious bad news. [SPEAKER_00]: But we obviously will stop there because that is the end of the second war of Armageddon.

[SPEAKER_00]: Gas hasn't died yet. [SPEAKER_00]: And the arc is died three times. [SPEAKER_00]: I was gonna say, the arc has been gone a couple of times. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But we still look at the books and stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: You never know how he just is. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I'll bring this up again.

[SPEAKER_00]: We get the third word of Armageddon later. [SPEAKER_00]: We have Macari has died two times. [SPEAKER_00]: Yara has died two times. [SPEAKER_00]: This is going to get really enjoyable. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's going to continue. [SPEAKER_00]: This is basically a theme. [SPEAKER_00]: Next week, though, we're going to shift over to a cast.

[SPEAKER_00]: I promised one of our listeners like a year ago and just forgot more of this cast reminded me of it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to dive into actually one of the original heroes of the Imperium. [SPEAKER_00]: So when he's been there since the inception, I have to look up if he's actually the first character model, but he's going to be up there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Dante, Dante got his first model. [SPEAKER_01]: Dante. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he got his first model in 1997, so he's a second edition, which means it is for the first co-dexes, although he randomly got a manager in 2021 and then 2023, which was an odd thing to do, and mean to people who collected the models.

[SPEAKER_01]: But, so it was one of the ones where you had to actually get to, because they resize the shit out of them. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know, and they knew one, but he was primarist in 2021, wasn't he? [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember. [SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a primer, but you know, [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but the whole thing he just chose to cross the Rubicon for that.

[SPEAKER_01]: He just got primary stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but we're going to cover a lot of Dante Dante goes back a ways. [SPEAKER_00]: I do hate the hair thing. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a different scenario. [SPEAKER_00]: The rest I'm like, I know Calguard doesn't, but Mike Calguard did. [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, but I digress. [SPEAKER_00]: Next week Dante, we're going to spend, I don't know if it's one of two cast by two cast on Dante. [SPEAKER_00]: He is a incredibly old character.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's also incredibly old. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's kind of a nice one to combo there. [SPEAKER_00]: Talking about where his origins are in the lore, and we're going to try and sprinkle in a bit more of a history of 40k, talking about how he's affected the lore because the blood angels at one point were the main chapter of the game.

[SPEAKER_00]: And now it is the Ultramarines, which I mean, we joke about a lot, but when Dante was part of the lore, the primary chapter was the blood angels. [SPEAKER_00]: And so we can talk about how that's shifted over time, tyranny, etc. [SPEAKER_00]: But until then, John Barsotti, Brad Chester, to Sky.
