Exploring Harlem Unbound and Haunted West with Chris Spivey

Mystery Program showrunner, Cat Blackard, and Keeper, Luke Stram, interview Chris Spivey of Darker Hue Studios, author of the award-winning Call of Cthulhu sourcebook, Harlem Unbound.
Harlem Unbound dynamically explores the real world history, personalities, social intricacies, and Lovecraftian mythos in 1920s New York City and Harlem; while confronting racism in that time period and as a part of the roleplaying experience. We speak with Chris about the challenges of bringing this project to life, the brand-new Second Edition from Chaosium, how to thoughtfully and safely explore racism in RPGs, and get juicy details on the jaw-droppingly expansive scope of his next major project, Haunted West.
