#429 - Joby Martin // Worthy Of The Gospel

We dig into Philippians 1:27 and unpack what it means to live a life worthy of the gospel of Christ without turning grace into a scoreboard. We define the gospel clearly, then show how grace changes us from the inside out so our lives start to match what we say we believe.
• reading Philippians 1:27-30 and focusing on “worthy of the gospel”
• defining the gospel from creation to Christ’s return
• explaining why identity in Christ comes before behavior change
• clarifying grace through faith and why we are saved to good works
• breaking down “verdict before performance” and what that means for daily obedience
• distinguishing anti-earning from anti-effort in spiritual growth
• showing how the gospel frees us from sin, not to sin
• summarizing justification, sanctification, and glorification
