Pickman's Model by H. P. Lovecraft

PICKMAN'S MODEL (thelovecraftvault.bandcamp.com/album/pickmans-…) was first published in the October 1927 edition of Weird Tales. In the story, the narrator recalls his friendship with Richard Upton Pickman, an eccentric painter whose grotesque and disturbingly lifelike canvases of ghouls and nightmarish scenes earn him both fame and infamy.
