'My First Time' Stories & WCW Spotlight Mellini Kantayya

We love sharing your stories so this week we have more "My First Time" industry experiences. Tammy Reese (visionaryminds.simdif.com) shares her first time covering the Academy Awards as a member of the media and January Green narrates Fran Montagnino's story about the first time she went to a Broadway show and how it inspired her to be part of the entertainment community. In the Women Crush Wednesdays Spotlight, Leah Curney (leahcurney.com) tells us why Mellini Kantayya (imdb.com/name/nm1464147) is crushing it.

Hosts Kelsey Marsh (linkedin.com/in/kelseyjanellemarsh) and Janine McGoldrick (2ndchapterproductions.com) discuss Mellini's Washington Post OpEd (washingtonpost.com/opinions/2021/04/22/hank-az…) entitled Hank Azaria Apologized for Playing Apu on ‘The Simpsons.’ I Accept and recommend the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency (penguinrandomhouse.com/series/1LA/no-1-ladies-…) and BBC's Line of Duty.
