Creation & Redemption - Part 24
The Seventh Is Holy
With Rabbi Ari Sollish
Recorded live at The Torah Center ATL on Sunday, October 25, 2026
There is a line in the Midrash that the mystics love: all sevenths are precious. The seventh day, the seventh year, the seventh month, the seventh generation, each carries a force that the others don’t, as if something hidden in the fabric of time keeps rising to the surface whenever the count reaches seven.
In Kabbalah, seven is far more than a number. It is the place where the work of creation exhales, where all the effort of the first six gathers itself and finally reveals what it was reaching for all along. It is the moment the building becomes a home, and the doing becomes a being.
In this session of Kabbalah Café we follow that thread together and explore why the Midrash calls every seventh beloved, what the mystics saw glimmering behind it, and what it means for the rhythm of your own life.
