What is the Unforgivable Sin?

Gavin Ortlund explains what Jesus meant by the unforgivable sin, showing from Scripture that it is not a momentary failure or doubt but a persistent, knowing rejection of Christ, and why this truth offers assurance, not fear, to believers.

Truth Unites (truthunites.org) exists to promote gospel assurance through theological depth.

Gavin Ortlund (PhD, Fuller Theological Seminary) is President of Truth Unites, Visiting Professor of Historical Theology at Phoenix Seminary, and Theologian-in-Residence at Immanuel Nashville.
