Summary:
Meet Finnian "Finn" Flickerfoot and his loyal, snack-loving sidekick, Barnaby "Barney" Bolt. These two ten-year-olds didn't mean to cause mass mayhem, but a little misunderstanding involving a glitter bomb, a poodle, and the Mayor's hat landed them in the worst possible place: Alcatraz Junior, the infamous island fortress designed to enforce 'extreme discipline' on the mischievously imaginative.
Guarded by the perpetually grumpy Warden Grimsnap and his starched-up rules (Chapter Three: Absolutely No Glitter!), the island is a cold, foggy prison filled with tasteless stew, mandatory 'Quiet Time,' and echoing, sickly-green corridors. But Finn and Barney are not your average inmates. Armed with nothing but a pilfered metal spoon, a few worn socks shaped into a dummy head, and a whole lot of gumption, they hatch a brilliant, yet utterly terrifying, plan. Dare to join them as they Crawl through a maze of dusty, metal service tunnels that smell like old secrets and forgotten laundry.
