We Know the Traitors is back as Pooya and Brian Scally break down all the schemes and shifting alliances from Traitors Canada, Season 4, Episode 5. This week, the rare regular murder kicks off a cascade of moves that have the cast scrambling, and Spicy Vee sets her sights on a risky master plan. With new twists, fractured relationships, and a dramatic shield auction, the game gets even more unpredictable as the faithfuls and traitors jockey for control.

Pooya and Scally recap the episode, starting with the strategic decision to murder Nipîy—someone unlikely ever to get banished. They dig into Spicy Vee’s complicated plot, which hinges on bringing Ty in as the next traitor and trusting that Van Goth can be used and discarded without incident. The hosts debate the odds of this plan success, its risks, and whether the traitors’ alliance is truly as unified as it seems. With side stories like Van Goth’s growing frustration and Icesis finding herself at odds over coins and alliances in the mission-turned-auction, the faithfuls head into the roundtable with new suspicions and shifting targets.

• Spicy Vee’s “master plan” to recruit Ty and manipulate Van Goth, including doubts from both hosts on its feasibility

• The rare murder of Nipîy, why removing non-banished faithfuls is key, and the logic behind this strategic hit

• Van Goth’s spiraling discontent, compared to Kate Chastain, as suspicion and social isolation mount

• Insights from the mission auction—alliances tested as players must give coins to others, with Keturah’s coin-dispersal ruffling feathers and Icesis forming a new rivalry

• The introduction of a powerful but risky pardon twist, and why using it may be more dangerous than it’s worth

This episode dives into the evolving social fabric and the high-stakes bets players make on each other’s trustworthiness. Will Spicy Vee’s plan explode or unravel? Who stands to benefit most from the shifting alliances and the ever-present threat of betrayal?
