'Hal Is Not Insane' Confirms Malcolm in the Middle Writer Eric Kaplan

We bagged another writer on this week's episode of Yes, No, Maybe!

Eric Kaplan is the writer of Dirty Magazine, Victor's Other Family, Dewey's Opera, Ida's Dance, Blackout, and Hal Grieves.

He has written for many other beloved and hilarious TV shows over the course of his incredible career AND he managed to get PhD in philosophy from UC Berkeley... kinda insane.

We were thrilled to get into Eric's take on the Malcolm writer's room, a bit of Linwood lore, philosophical musings on these characters, and more during this episode.

HUGE shoutout to his NEW ANIMATION STUDIO Kap Knap, found here: youtube.com/@Kapknap

They just launched their first show "My Friend Coffee", which we talk about in the interview!

As always, this episode is a part of the Gotham Podcast Network and was recorded at their production studio in Manhattan. Book a studio here: youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&a…
