Yorkshire has a darker side.

Behind the cobbled streets, ancient abbeys and quiet coastal villages lie centuries of murder, witchcraft, hauntings and mysteries that were never solved. Yorkshire After Dark brings those stories back to life.

Each episode takes you to a real place in God's Own County: a haunted pub in York, a smugglers' village on the coast, a town swallowed by the sea, the streets that inspired Dracula. We tell the history as it happened, and the legends as they've been told for generations.

Three kinds of story:
TRUE – real crimes and dark history from Yorkshire's past
