Omah Lay joins us two years after his last visit — an interview during which he experienced his first-ever earthquake! Nothing quite so eventful happened this time, but a lot has changed.
Now 29, Omah Lay is back with his sophomore LP, ‘Clarity of Mind,’ an album he believes might just be the greatest Afrobeats album ever made.

He opens up about the past two years and what it has taken to find greater peace and emotional freedom, including working on his mental health, letting go, navigating shifts in his identity and learning not to push love away. He talks about loneliness, narcissism, get into why he chopped off all his hair, and the fresh start it represented.
