Incoming Calls: When Strivings Cease - Greg Heasley

What does it mean to find genuine purpose in a world that often feels cyclical, exhausting, and fleeting? In this message, Greg dives into the book of Ecclesiastes and the Teacher’s provocative declaration that so much of our striving is hevel - a vapour or chasing after smoke.
Grounded in Ecclesiastes 1, 3, and 12, this teaching confronts the weariness of “life under the sun,” examining why earthly toil and ambition can never satisfy the longing for eternity God has planted deep within the human heart.
When we shift our perspective to see life under the sun not as an endless chase for "gain," but as a sacred "gift" to be received with joy, our everyday moments find true redemption. Let’s learn to enjoy the portion God has provided today while anchoring our lives in reverent trust in Him!
