The Beautiful Resistance: Week 16 - Ask, Seek, Knock – Paul Maughan
When was the last time you asked God for something you actually wanted? In this instalment of our series, Paul explores Jesus’s teachings in Matthew 7:7–12 on asking, seeking, and knocking, alongside the foundational principle of the Golden Rule.
This message highlights how persistent prayer offers resistance to the mindset of a closed universe by revealing an open, loving Father who delights in giving good gifts to His children.
By discovering the heart of an open Father, we are invited into the result of an open-handed life—replacing self-centredness and transactional living with proactive, generous love for others.
