The Summit Tracks: They Went Up, But Never Down

The Summit Tracks: They Went Up, But Never Down

Fifteen experienced hikers ascended Upper Mount Robson in 2006, leaving clear boot prints that stopped abruptly at the summit. No bodies, no distress signals, and no wreckage were ever found, only an impossible mystery. What happened to them at the top of that mountain?

In this episode, we explore the chilling disappearance of a hiking group on a British Columbia trail that has been permanently closed since the incident. We retrace the steps of two groups, their communication breakdown, and the inexplicable discovery made by the second group at the summit.
