Story Transcript:

En: In the depths of the golden autumn and the grandeur of the Rilski Monastery, three friends — Borislav, Lyubomir, and Kalina — stood in front of a large corn maze.

En: This was part of the autumn fair around the monastery.

En: The scents of freshly roasted chestnuts and laughter from the numerous stalls filled the air.

En: The leaves in the forest behind the monastery gleamed in red and gold, and the air was fresh and cool.

En: "It won't be hard; we'll get out of here quickly," said Borislav with a confident smile.

En: He loved to be the leader and imagined that he could easily guide the group through the maze.

En: Lyubomir, who was more practical, smiled slightly skeptically.

En: “I hope you're right, Borislav. But everything seems more complicated than I thought.”

En: “Oh, come on, let's give it a try,” added Kalina, who always found something funny, even in tense situations.

En: She loved challenges and jokes.

En: The three entered the maze.

En: At first, everything seemed easy.

En: But after a few turns, Borislav realized he didn't know where they were.

En: The high corn walls surrounded them from all sides, and the maze seemed endless.

En: “Have we been here before?” asked Kalina with a laugh, trying to ease the tension.

En: Lyubomir noticed a scarecrow smiling in a corner, creating a small shock and brief laughter among them.

En: "I'm a little confused," admitted Borislav after ten minutes, blushing with some tension.

En: “We need to find our way together.”

En: Lyubomir and Kalina nodded in agreement.

En: They suggested moving towards the sound of the fair, where every now and then they could hear music and laughter.

En: So, carefully listening, they made a plan.

En: Soon, they headed towards the smell of warm chestnuts and managed to find the exit from the maze.

En: Borislav, a bit embarrassed, laughed along with his friends.

En: "Seems I'm better when we work together," shared Borislav.

En: They all grinned and began to walk back to the fair, enjoying their success and friendship.

En: Thus, the three were left satisfied, filled with joy and wonderful memories of the day in Rila.
