Bonus Episode 2 – Salem Book Signing
In this special bonus episode of Inside Old House, Skye shares her firsthand experience attending Marcus’s author event and Q&A in Salem, Oregon!
We cover new insights from Marcus about his horror inspirations (Lake Mungo, Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity), his goal of leaving key mysteries "nameless" like Tolkien’s deep-sea terrors, and the unsettling idea that some Old Houses only have one real person inside.
Other highlights include news about film adaptations (yes, Blake Lively and Sydney Sweeney!), Shylo’s original fate, hidden color symbolism, hints about character compulsions, and theories connecting Old House to liminal spaces. Plus, we share the hilarious story of how Marcus recognized Skye during the event—and confirmed he listens to the podcast!
If you’re curious about what’s coming next for the PK-EU, Old House’s shifting realities, and how publishing threw a wrench into Marcus’s original plans, this episode is packed with lore and behind-the-scenes revelations.
