Shownotes

What if some of the patterns we call self-sabotage are actually signs that our nervous system doesn't yet have the capacity to hold what we're asking from life?

Returning guest Marisa Liza Pell joins us for a deeply personal conversation about trauma, intuition, relationships, spiritual awakening, nervous system regulation, and why she believes reconnecting with the body is essential to genuine transformation.

Then the conversation turns into something I never expected. Marisa notices my nervous system reacting in real time and guides me through a simple breath-and-sound exercise using a low “voo” vibration. What happens afterward changes the entire energy of the interview as we explore why relaxation can feel unsafe, how the body may hold old protective patterns, and why spiritual alignment may require us to first learn how to feel safe enough to fully inhabit ourselves.

I'm so good. I'm so happy to be back.

Yes, thank you so much.

Having so much fun with you guys.

It has been a joy. You've been here, which we'll talk about later, but you've been here shooting some stuff with us.

Yes.

Yes, we have a Next Level Soul Mastery course that we just shot. And by the time this airs, it will be available for people. And it's called the Stress Detox, which we're gonna get into all of that. Your interesting methods of how you do it. And after taking the course with you, because I was there with you.

Yes, you were kind of taking it with you as we were doing it.

I'm there with you. I was really in it. It kind of blew my mind, a lot of it. Really? Yeah. No, there's things that you think about. It's kind of like... It's not that it was like revolutionary in the sense of like I've never heard that before. But the way you combined everything and the system, the way you laid it out, I was like, well, yeah, if you feel stressed out or you feel overwhelmed, if you do these tips and these things, it really does help you. But anyway, we'll get into that later.

Yes.

We'll go down that road later. But it's been so much fun. And you've been looking forward to this.

Yeah, I was like, we'll do that first. And then we'll do this second because it's like the party time for me.

Yes.

I just love riffing with you. And like, I don't know, sometimes I plan like what we're going to talk about and with you. Every time I'm just like, I don't know where this is going to go. The spirit will leave it. What's going to happen?

I have questions here, but I have it here just purely for my own blankie. But I doubt I'll even look down that way.

You don't need the blankie.

I don't think the blankie at this point. We don't need the blankie. Yeah. So let's start it off with what's going on in the world. It's getting nuttier and nuttier. Yes. And it's something that concerns a lot of people and a lot of people are overwhelmed, a lot of people are stressed. And that's people who are not in war zones and really getting hammered by a lot of the things that are going on in the world. But I'd love to hear your point of view of not only why we're going through all of it, but what do you see for us? And for people who didn't, this is our third conversation.

Third.

Third conversation, yes.

We've been on a journey.

We have been on a journey. Yes. The first time you came on, you were on a Zoom call and you did a live reading for me. And I think 30 minutes of the show was just a reading. I think it was longer. Yeah, something like that was a reading. But it was so entertaining. The one thing I've always said, and I know a lot of psychics and I know a lot of channels, but you're the fastest, most accurate psychic I've ever encountered. You're so fast is what gets me.

Because the information flies so quickly and it's so accurate. And I can only reference accuracy from my own experience. But it was from your days on a radio, a morning radio show that you had to kind of like do, do, do, do, do, do, do.

Yeah, there was a lot of pressure.

And it was a hostile environment.

It was all men in a locker room style setting that would eat you up if you, number one, made a mistake. And number two, if you didn't go fast enough, they needed call. Because people coming on their drive to work, major market radio in Philadelphia. And it went all the way up to Trenton. And- They're like, you have to get this many calls. And they're like, you're too slow.

Just keep, you know, and you have to be on with people you don't see, you don't know, the random people calling in. And they're Philly fans, sports fans.

I've heard the Philly fans are intense.

Yeah, but if they love you, they love you.

They love you. Yeah. So it's a city of brotherly love. Yeah.

I mean, it was, I mean, the show was called The Philly Guys Morning Show. I mean, it had comedian- Another guy, like, I mean, and they would, they would rip people. And so, and then the guy before that, he was even, he was a sports commentator.

So it's a rough environment.

It was, I had, like, if I could make it through that, doing this, then, you know, so that's where I pretty much had to turn up the broadcast on my intuition and just like trust. I couldn't have a moment to like second guess or second think. And when you're teaching it, I had a school for 12 years where I taught people. And it's like, oh, well, I got this, but I'm going to second guess it and not say it because it's strange. You can't do that.

You almost have to trust yourself immediately. And if somebody says a vat of pea soup and a lollipop, you got to say it and hope that it hits. And so that's the way it was.

Yeah. So that's the one thing about you that was always fascinating me is that you're so fast and you're so accurate. So Um, that's one of the reasons why I'm curious to see what you have to say about what's happening in the world. So tell me my dear, what is spirit telling you? Yes.

So things have evolved in my career since then. So I'm not, you know, I'm not on major market. Yes. So I'm doing more of the transformational somatic expansion work and bringing people through a channeled method that is coming through to me as time goes on of like a reverse arche, archeological dig through the chakras and, bringing people down and releasing traumas. Like that's where I really feel because I feel like the world is in trauma. Consciousness is in trauma. And we're so, it's like, you know, animals become extinct. Well, like the human consciousness, like the heart, the heart, the heartbeat of the world is starting to become extinct.

What do you mean by that?

The love, the connection. Because so much technology, so fast, everything so fast, urgency culture, people were just replacing people in relationships, all that kind of stuff. It's just the brain just can't keep up with where things are going. Our brain, our human brain, just AI can't keep up, right?

It's faster than us. So we're losing connection at a rapid rate. We're losing heart. We're losing soul. So we're not in the best place spiritually. And that's for me, that's my role. My mission is to bring people back to connection with their body, with themselves and with each other, right? That's really the goal. So people are seeking, we're all seeking connection at such a high level and we're so disconnected at such a high level. So when I get information, I get visuals, I get a lot of visuals and I see the earth and I see the earth divided and the old earth and the new earth. So we're in like a new era where we're actually going into a really exciting time. So I'm going to bring good news.

Please, please.

The challenging news is that if we don't solve the problem of disconnection on the personal level, like individually and what i call moving through the light pillar we do it in reverse and what the method that was channeled to me and most people don't make it through like it's very difficult because it's like blast zones all these stuck centers in your body are all activation that you've built in your life from trauma like since you were like before you're six years old right and each blast zone is bigger down the levels because the root center houses the core emotional wound so each time you go with that blast zone you're going through a big opening And sometimes tumultuous things happen during those times where the

beautiful spiritual things happen at the same time. But it's a very difficult process. So people are like, oh, I want the world to be better, right? I want the universe to be good. I want more connection. You have to start with yourself. So we have to start with working on ourselves and coming back to anchoring to the earth and to the light grid, activating our divine centers.

And then our broadcast opens at such a bigger rate. So If we're doing this work and if I'm guiding the people that are drawn to me to do this work and those people take the torch and do this work, we're activating the light pillars of the world, right? It's called the light pillar activation. And right now there's not a lot of people that are doing it. They're not going down far enough into that root center and anchoring, right?

There's not a lot of people. And the more people we have do that, like that's my mission is to get people to get to do that work because that's going to help raise the earth consciousness. But the good news is, is that there's like, if you imagine the Earth, there's like a dividing line, and there's old era, which is a dark era, no connections, like the light off, and then the new era that's coming. Now, this is gonna be exciting for people like you and me, because we came from the 80s, right? I'm gonna say this, I'm gonna put it out there, and I've already seen evidence of this, because I started talking about this about two or three months ago, because I got the download, the 80s are coming back.

Okay. The good stuff, the good stuff. The good stuff.

You see this with Pizza Hut. They're bringing it back. You see it. It just happened, right?

So for everyone listening, at Pizza Hut, there's certain owners of franchises of Pizza Hut who have now decided to do retro refittings of old Pizza Hut to make it look like it was the 80s. And they are... people are flocking to these pizza huts because they have gone back. Because now you're like, I don't eat, I haven't eaten pizza in God knows how long.

But you might.

But I don't know if I, no, I don't think my stomach can handle it anymore. But if we were by one, I would absolutely take my kids to go see it and go, this is what it was like, you know, and have the arcade in the back and everything. And people are, I think there's so much insanity going on right now that there is a big rush of nostalgia happening. And nostalgia in the Greek term is an illness.

It's technically, according to the definition, it's an illness of the past. Like you can't let go of the past.

You can't be present.

And you can't be present. So they consider it an illness nostalgia. I mean, that's the technical term. I don't consider it because I, you know me, you could see all the stuff I have around my area as well. You have Yoda in the other room. It was the only.

Time we felt connected. It was the only time we actually felt like excited to go to like a fast food restaurant with our grandparents.

You get a feeling.

You get a feeling when you go, or you go to a park in the summer. We don't get these feelings anymore. It's just like, when are we going to get there? What time? How are we going to make everything happen?

I think we've gone too far into this other direction. We'll use fast food as an example. Not that I'm a fan of fast food at all, but there was a nostalgic aspect to it. When I was growing up, I ate a lot of fast food. I ate McDonald's and Burger King and Wendy's and all that kind of stuff. Food was different back then, just slightly than it is today.

I don't even know what you would call it today, but you know what I mean. But if you looked at the old McDonald's, they looked so much fun.

They were fun.

There was giant playgrounds, there was this or that. Now they look like prisons. I mean, they're boxes, they're just gray. They're gray boxes. And they did that.

With digital kiosks.

With digital kiosks. So there's no soul, there's no heart in it anymore. And I think people are searching and just they need that now.

You know what I'm going to talk about?

Yeah, I know. And we'll get to that in a minute.

I'm so excited about the channeling there.

Yeah, we'll get to that in a second. I know you've been wanting to say it.

I do.

We'll talk about it.

In a second.

But I think that because I found myself like I've been on a run of old 80s action movies that I've been watching and I don't know why. And I'm like, you know, I'm in I'm going to be 52. All right. So I know I'm in midlife. And I know I've had like a mini midlife crisis in that way. Like I'm going back and like, what's going on? You know, I'm not getting a Ferrari or a Lamborghini. I'm not chasing, you know, 20 year old girls or anything like that. Like, you know, what the classics are. But I've gone back to what was comfortable to me. It's really interesting what I'm going through personally. And I just started watching old action movies from like, I'm going through a Jean-Claude Van Damme stage right now. And I'm watching all these old movies.

And I'm just sitting there. I'm like, why am I watching these? Not that they're bad and they're enjoyable. And it takes me back to when I was working at a video store and looking at those 80s movies and 90s movies. But I'm like, why am I analyzing? Why am I doing them? Like, oh, I'm going back to the feeling that I had when I watched these for the first time. Like when I watched Bloodsport, you know, like for the first time and watched those movies. It's not something that I resonate with. Like I wouldn't watch the latest Jean-Claude Van Damme. Right, right. Yeah. but I'm watching these and I'm just fascinated with it. So I agree with you. I think that there is this need for nostalgia. Look at what's happening with the trading card

market right now and the comic book market right now and VHS market. People are, the other day they sold an original Star Wars VHS on a sealed for $ 25, 000. Wow. So that says, that's been around for, A long time. Yeah. And now there's value in it. Why? Because people are connected to that.

Well, no. They want connection and that's the only time... That they felt connected. So the whole point is we need to get them to feel like they're connected now.

Correct.

In the present because that's old connection.

So.

I'm going to bridge that.

It's a faux connection. You're just rekindling the energy of what it was, but you're not focusing on what is now. It's dangerous because if you go too far down the nostalgia road, you can just live there. In the past. Literally building your... I've seen a guy who built a blockbuster in his garage. It's a walk-in blockbuster, quick drop, the whole thing. I'm like, wow, dude. I get it.

super cool but at a certain point you're like what are we doing here guys i.

Mean it makes sense though it does if the world isn't this much disarray and disconnect.

There's a push to the old yeah the.

The technology the internet ai it's it's all like oh yeah then they're done like people are kind of like okay that's cool social media now it's just the algorithms they're just showing you what you look at last i mean nothing's.

Real we'll be right back after a word from our sponsor And now back to the show.

Nothing's real anymore. Nothing's connected. And the only way we're going to get there is if people get reconnected to their body somatically. It's the only way.

Exactly. And there was a smaller version of this happened in the 70s. If you remember in the 70s, it was the 50s. I don't remember the 70s. No, no, no. But like watching media. I don't remember the 70s. But in the 70s, there was a call back to the 50s. Because the 70s was a really rough decade. People forget how bad it was. Nixon, Vietnam, the inflation, the economy.

That's why when the 80s showed up, everyone was like, woohoo. So the Iran, everything, there's a lot of stuff going on in the 70s. And there was like happy days. and American Graffiti, and they were all going back. Charles and Charles. Charles and Charles. Well, that was a different.

A little bit more.

Yeah, that was the 80s, but they were going back to, so it was a nostalgia for then. So there's been moments of, oh, it was so great back in that time.

But then people got connected in the 80s, is what I'm saying.

Correct, they did.

So they had that then, but then they, so that's what's happening now. Should we go there?

If you'd like to go there, go for it. The movie Michael. Michael, yeah, Michael Jackson. Which you haven't seen yet. I'm busy. I've been doing mastery courses.

I mean, when you see the dance parties that are going on around the world.

I've seen them. I've seen them.

Adults, you know, I mean, it's just, it's because people are like, they've been waiting. It's not like the movie. It's people have been waiting for this.

A communal way to connect.

To connect to each other and to them. I mean, it's just, and the channeling that's happening and to Jafar Jackson, he talks about it in interviews. He wasn't even an actor, a dancer, nothing. He sang, he did music, but like he wasn't planning on being Michael. And he, you know, he rehearsed at Havenhurst where Michael used to rehearse. And he said he felt him. He went up for that first time to do Bad. He's actually singing it in the movie. He said people were just like old band members, just crying. Everybody, because he said he was in, like he channeled him. And There's a lot of controversy with Michael Jackson, obviously, for many years.

But the same thing happened with the actor who played Freddie Mercury. He won the Oscar for that. And he felt like it was just him and his band members were like, that's just him. So there was a channeling that happened there.

But if you think about Michael Jackson and what he wanted, he wanted to heal the world. That's his message. And so it would make sense- that the second coming of Michael Jackson is happening.

Well, I mean, through this movie, absolutely. And everything else.

The energy. Like he's, there's an energy in his spirit.

The energy to his music, you can't, I mean.

But he's coming in. What I'm saying, channeling in to like bring this energy back into the world because the world is in such a place. And so like his spirit is coming in, you know? And you don't understand you're not in the bubble yet. Once you get in the bubble- There is a bubble, there is an energy, and it's just, you become in it, like all these people are in right now.

I mean, look, you can't deny what the movie's done. I mean, it's nearly a billion.

You're just dancing every day.

It's a billion dollars. You're playing the music. You're connecting. Yeah, it's almost at a billion dollars now worldwide. So there's something that's happening in it.

There's something.

There's something, because you don't get to a billion dollars in box office without something happening. And it's not a Marvel movie. It's not Avatar. It's a biopic.

It's because people need connection. And that's the way that they remember the last time they felt it. And people are so deprived that it just brought back life to a lot of people.

Interesting.

It brought the music back on for a lot of people. Turned the music back on in people's lives.

This is an interesting conversation because... I agree with you. I think that we are lacking connection in a very big way. I do think that there is, I know we're spiritually in a different place, but I believe that more people are awakening than ever before or else these conversations wouldn't resonate with the millions that they do. So there is a curiosity because I think at this point people are, the systems that they grew up with, religious, government, business, media, all of it, those systems aren't working for them anymore.

And now they're looking for other answers. Let me ask you this. Do you believe that humanity is going to mirror what the individual does? Which from my personal experience, obviously I know, but from my personal experience, I'm hard-headed. So a little bit. I'm stubborn sometimes. And the universe will whisper and all that. The thing I've said, whisper hitting the sledgehammer comes. And sometimes it's not even a sledgehammer.

It's a fricking piano from the sky that drops. It's so bad. Are we being pushed as a collective to the place where it gets so bad for the collective worldwide that we are now forced We're forced to deal with the trauma. We're forced to connect. We're forced to do things that we just might have not wanted to do.

Like when you're fired from your job or you break up with your significant other unexpectedly and all of a sudden you're forced to deal with something that you didn't want to have to deal with and you've been kicking the can down the street. I think humanity's been kicking the can down the street for decades now. And it's finally getting to a point where like, we can't keep going like this. What do you think?

You're asking a very personal question. You don't know it yet. I don't mean to. We can't cycle and go into patterns anymore. It's just not going to work for humanity anymore. So people can only meet other people with how deeply they meet themselves. So most of us want deeper relationships. We want deeper love. We want deeper connection to the world, to each other, especially in romantic relationships. Yet you're trading in people, you know, cyclically. Because you're like, oh, yeah, just whatever. Because things starting to get hard, starting to get uncomfortable. And people don't want to do the work.

They don't want to get down there. So when I was here last time, now I made a commitment when I evolved my career past just the reading. Because readings, they're not the answer anymore. They help to guide us along that path and connect us. But we got to do our own work. Like there's no shortcuts anymore. So when I decided... four or five years ago to build this other like evolution process that I take people through.

I'm like universe has put me through it because all my clients, they keep coming, asking me the same thing over and over again. And I'm going through the same things over and over again. I'm not figuring out this problem, especially relationally. I see it because I come from, you know, difficult things happen in my background, right? Like most of us.

And you just don't intellectually deal with that by listening to a bunch of podcasts or reading books, right? Or even going to therapy and talking it out.

They're guides. These shows, books, courses, events, they're guides. Yeah. To you.

To me.

Eventually to yourself.

But it doesn't do the work for you.

No, you've got to do the lifting, of course.

So then when the work starts getting a little uncomfortable, you're like, oh, I'll go to the next mentor, the next shiny object, the next thing.

Well, it's like watching workout videos instead of working out.

Right. Or talking to a trainer. Training gets a little hard. You're like, I'm not going to go to that gym anymore. I'm going to try this next like, you know.

It hurts so much. I don't know.

This is like a get-rich-quick thing and I'll just, in 30 days, I'll get a shot and I'll lose 50 pounds that way, instead of going to the gym for six months. We're all wah-wah, we don't want anything to be hard. The popsicle's right there, whatever, I can have 10 of them. But that's not gonna do, at this point, the universe has no more patience for it. The higher-ups, the ascendant, everybody, all levels of consciousness, no more patience, right?

So when I said, put me through it, the universe is like, are you ready? And it put me through a lot of difficult stuff, which had me build my program, had me get transformations for a lot of people. What it didn't prepare me for was what happened when I came here last time. And you're like, why would you drive down here? And I'm like, I knew there was a reason that I had to take some sort of pilgrimage.

You had a vision quest. Right. A walkabout. Right.

And I know like when my clients go through these blast zones in their chakras, everybody else in the program can see it. Like as soon as they come on Zoom, they're like, oh my God, they're there. They went down another level. But each time that block is open, it's a more turbulent. It's like I'm not telling you what's going to happen when you first come in here because you're not going to want to do this. Most people can't.

Don't make it through. Right.

It's hard.

So I'm thinking, okay, I'm going to see some of the country I didn't get to see. And you're like, you're doing a walkabout, you know, like, and when I got back, it didn't, I needed that two weeks or whatever, because it didn't prepare me for the turbulence that was about to hit my life. And I told you about my white light experience that I had when I was 14 in the first interview. So if you reviewers haven't seen that go to the first interview, but I had a, another huge spiritual profound awakening when I got back from the show, which I think I needed that lead up of that walkabout to have that experience. And then my relationship, right after I had that experience, if I didn't have this experience and this opening and God removed a certain

level of trauma from me instantly, plus the somatic work leading into it, I needed to hold that level of insane pain for the opening to occur, for the spiritual awakening to happen. And when it did, I had this opening that was one of the most incredible things that ever happened to me.

I'll get into detail.

I told you about this. I'm going to write a book about all the details of this. But it opened me up to where it removed things instantly that I had been struggling with for the past 10 years, like cycles and patterns. It was just gone, freed. And when two people, you know, I'm in a very long-term relationship.

When two people are both deciding to do this work at the same time, and he's a little bit further behind me, but it creates a lot of turbulence in the relationship where you mean all the stuff from your childhood, all the stuff from your ancestral line, your generational trauma, it's all coming up projected onto the other. Because if you know, there's three stages of relationships, the honeymoon, the power struggle phase, and the mature love phase. Every relationship has to go through it. So the power struggle phase could last eight years. A lot of people get divorced before that. Right. Most people don't make it through that.

You can't skip them. Right. But if you have trauma, if you have energetic breaks in your childhood, if you have all this stuff, it's going to be a harder power struggle phase for you. When I got back, our relationship almost like fell apart. Like it was literally like all this stuff came to light, all this stuff happened.

And if I did not have that experience, I would not have gotten through it. Like I would not.

The two weeks you mean? No.

After the two weeks, I came home, I had the spiritual experience and then All the stuff just, yeah. It's like, it was almost like right at that last second that the universe said, I'm going to give you a gift to be, because you're going to have to help a lot of other people through this. You're going to have to help people go through this in your life. And he's going to too. And you guys are going to have to help other people with this situation that you, and both of us, the trauma just almost ripped us apart.

Like seriously, both of us having to go through that.

It can do that for sure.

You know, because we couldn't, we had sought help many, many years and it was like the same song and dance that everybody goes through, you know? And miracles happened in our lives, like for him and for me. And we've had spiritual experiences. I mean, it was just, it's crazy. And we're like, okay, like the universe, it's not just for us. Like the universe wants us to bring this to people and to help other people through it. So we had to go through this pain.

That's the thing too, that as... teachers you know and many times we have to you know we got to kind of taste we have to go through it in order to teach it because intellectually we can talk you can intellectually talk about all of that but unless you feel it unless you've gone through it it's a whole other conversation and sometimes i'm even noticing that the universe puts me through some stuff you know and i'm like oh why am i going through this like what am i what's the lesson here and then you get kind of a download or you're in a meditation you get the information you're like Oh, it's because you've got to teach it. You've got to put it out there. As a teacher, a student can feel when it's intellectual on

a surface level or when you've gone through it.

When you've felt it.

When you've gone through it. And there's a huge difference. Again, I have such a unique perspective because I speak to so many lovely souls like yourselves. And I've had teachers on the show who talk about it from an intellectual standpoint. And it's very valuable. Sure. Information. It's information, though.

People are smart. They can learn things.

Correct. But when you feel what they're teaching, it's a whole other conversation. It just comes through the energy. It's very, very, very different. And it's not to say that you can't teach something that you haven't done, but in this context, arena it's very very powerful so that's wow that's.

Crazy yeah he told me that he prayed for this stuff like because there's things that um we're high achievers people with with energetic breaks or what i call trauma in our lives we're high achievers high producers we're really good at our work but when it comes to certain things we've experienced it's like there's certain levels below and those lower chakras that just won't move and that you do suffer with. And so he knew going into this relationship like what I struggled with. But then when you're doing this work and you're opening up somatically and you're opening up internally and you're opening up those vulnerabilities with the work, that stuff comes up and it comes out.

Mm-hmm.

And so he saw how much, like when I started really getting into the middle part of the work, he saw how much I was suffering. And I mean, I was still doing my job really well, but he said I prayed for like nine years for this to go away. Every day he prayed for me to be relieved because he saw, like people on the outside aren't seeing what I'm going through, but he saw what I went through at home.

Yeah.

And it affected us. And he has his own stuff that he's been going through, right? Mm-hmm.

We'll be right back after a word from our sponsor. And now back to the show.

So he got to that very end where he like didn't believe God heard his prayer. Like he had no hope anymore for us. And he just thought I'd have to live with this the rest of my life. But I was doing so much work. that there was about a week after I got back before this, there's so much detail to this.

It's hard.

And so many experiences, like it's too much to talk about right now, but I will, it's not, I will be telling the world all of this. Right. But it, it, it was just like so many things happened during that course of time.

So with that said though, yeah. These kinds of awakenings in this kind of work, That is what's needed to change this world right now.

Well, it was at the very last minute that God said, oh, you guys are going on different pathways. I mean, it was very turbulent. And it literally was at the last second that the experience came down. And I looked at him and I'm like, I'm free. He's like, what? I remember we were outside. He looked into my eyes and he knew when he started crying. He knew what happened.

He felt it. We saw it.

My students, I got on the Zoom and they're like, oh my God, what happened? My mom, people around me, you know, it was just, but it was like timing wise, it was amazing. The timing of it was the very last critical moment where the universe was like, okay, I'm going to do what you prayed for. But I had a hold a week up to that. I had made a decision. Instead of patterning, I had decided to hold it.

And that means that when we're triggered emotionally, we usually default to subconscious things that we do. So if somebody triggers you, like, let's say your dad used to yell at you a lot when you were young and someone yells at you, you will have tendency to, you know, probably get very aggressive or whatever. And so for you to, because that's so ingrained, that's something that always subconsciously happens.

What the somatic work does is it allows enough space for you to be able to hold that aggression without acting out. So we're doing something differently while at the same time holding all that intensity, all that energy, and not cycling into the same pattern.

So when do you release that energy?

When you change the pattern. In a different way.

Because if you're triggered in a scenario and you're just holding that energy in, that will... hurt you eventually. So you have to let go of it. Maybe not at the moment, obviously, but maybe later.

I can give you a better example of that. A lot of my students, we call them leap points or conversion events that they go through in our process. And it's kind of like, I had one student who's like, you know what? I hate going to Thanksgiving at my parents' house.

Hate it.

Every year, they're like, I really wish that I could go away with my family to like Florida or something and just have a good time. But like, because of the trauma in her background, she was so afraid to say she wasn't coming for the way they would react and the consequences of that and the guilt that she would feel and the anxiety. So basically she didn't have the capacity to hold the guilt and anxiety and say no and actually complete it. So she did the somatic expansion work with the vagus nerve work that we do, which is only at the top of the glacier. She gave herself enough capacity Because what happens? What happens is that you could say, okay, I'm going to do it this year. I'm going to tell them I'm not coming.

Right?

So she might have the capacity to say, I got it. I'm going to tell them. And then they pull the guilt trips. And then she has so much guilt and so much anxiety that she wants relief from the anxiety. So she folds. That's the normal pattern. Because you can't hold that anxiety and guilt.

Right?

Because it gets so uncomfortable and keeps getting more and more intense.

Mm-hmm.

So the somatic work, what it does is it brings that intensity down a little bit and it expands us internally to be able to still hold it and still complete the action. So she was able to actually feel extreme amounts of guilt and anxiety and not fold and still go.

Okay.

So we call them conversion events. And then that builds confidence because she sees at the other end of it, oh, I did this. So that inner child, her seven-year-old... Mm-hmm. said, I did this and it was okay. So it was a disconfirming event for the nervous system that said, oh, this is safe now. We're not back in 1985. We're in 2026 and you made it through. Okay, now the system could stop the alarm. It could stop the panic button.

So next time she could do it and the system won't go into that space.

Okay, let's dive into that a little bit because when you're talking about instances of trauma in your past and No one gets out of life without some trauma in this life. That's the point. I mean, we're here to learn and trauma is a teaching tool, unfortunately.

Yeah.

But it is a teaching tool. And, you know, sometimes, you know, you see somebody like overreacting to like, can you put the dish away? And then someone loses their complete crap. And you're like, it's not about the dish.

It's not about the dish.

It's not about the dish. But if you can, Find a way to, I love that idea that you're saying, hold the space. Yeah. To feel everything you're going to feel, but not crack under the pressure. That signals to your nervous system, hey, you're not going to die if you don't go to Thanksgiving dinner. It might be a little rocky.

You might take some incoming shells, but you'll survive. And once you make it through the other side of it, then you're like, oh, okay, I can get through this.

I did it.

And that goes through everything in life, whether it's starting on a diet, working out, starting school, things that you're always terrified about. It's not as bad.

It's about holding it consistently. A lot of people can do it on a whim or if they force themselves to. But in her situation, she was getting calls from her family, like, what do you mean you're not coming? And all this stuff. The problem is that I don't care how successful you are. I don't care if you make millions of dollars a year. Oh. You're...

capacity inside is your capacity. And the only way that we expand that capacity is if we deactivate the energy and we stretch the system to where you're uncomfortable, you're triggered, and you're still moving through it anyway. And consistently though, how many times in your career, I'll bring this up because it happened to me many times. We've been in this industry for a long time, film, television, all that stuff.

How many times, if you think of yourself, I know when I had less capacity, to hold energy. Because if you think if you're going to do great things, you have to optimize your vessel, you have to optimize your energy, your physical health, all those things and hold it mental health, everything. That's a lot of energy to hold, right? I call it blipping. What happens with people is that like, you've probably had opportunities in your earlier career where you're like, Oh my god, I got I got this big project in front of a big director, right? And then it dropped. Right?

And it's devastating.

Right?

But you're almost there. I wrote my first books about that. You're almost there and it drops.

All day. All day. All day. Multiple times in my life. I was always good enough to get in the room.

Because you can't hold the energy consistently because internal capacity.

Interesting.

Once you have more capacity, you can hold it.

Okay. So let's analyze this for a second. Now we're going to go into a therapy session. A therapy session for you. No, because my first book is called Shooting for the Mob. Okay. And it's all about me almost making a $ 20 million movie for the mafia. And I was flown out to LA. I met the biggest movie stars and all that kind of good stuff. And it's available on Next Level Soul TV if you'd like to listen to it. But I was 26 when that happened.

And that is probably the most extreme version of this ever happening in my life. I had multiple other times I was in the room. but I was never across from Batman at his house in New Mexico or in the producers of the Matrix's penthouse in Hollywood Hills and that kind of stuff. So I had never gone through all of that. But I look back now, I'm like, I'm so grateful it didn't happen. Like if I would have been thrown into a $ 10 million movie in that time with these kind of people, who were just giants, I would have been eaten alive. It would have destroyed me.

And let's say I get through it. Let's say I make the movie. Let's say it gets through the finish line and this becomes a success. The success I wouldn't have been able to Any sort of success that would have come in, like, oh, you're so great. Oh, my God. Here's a project here. Here's a project there. The ego would have gone out of control.

Also, what the subconscious is afraid of is not the success. It's the judgment and criticism that comes with more visibility.

Back then, sure.

Because that would open you up to more criticism.

Oh. Right? Oh, absolutely.

More visibility.

Absolutely. And it was before.

People are afraid of that.

Oh, the fear of success is another huge, huge deal.

People like to stay in their comfort zone with people who love them and, you know, all that.

But I was always wondering that about my career as a filmmaker is like every time I would, I would have a big project and I would then get, I'll do the rounds. I do the water, water, it's called the water bottle tour. You just go to different agencies and they just give you water bottles. So it's the water bottle tour. And I would do that constantly. I would go to the big agencies and I would go big producers and, and it would be, I would be in the room. I mean, talking to Oscar winners and all these kinds of things. And I never would materialize.

I'm like, why am I good enough to get in the room, but I can't move? And I'm very grateful those things didn't happen because it would have skewed me in a different direction. But like now, if someone would present me with a $ 20 million movie or a big Hollywood feature, first of all, I probably wouldn't do it because I'm not, I don't, unless it's something that really calls my attention. But I feel I could handle it a lot better now Because why? Well, because I'm older.

Because you don't care as much. You're not reaching. You're not desperate. You don't have this energy of like.

I need this. No, I don't need any of it.

No. It comes from, I remember when I just gave it all up and I built my program. And I was so fulfilled internally with the transformations I'm getting with my clients. And all these opportunities started coming to me after I had another drop in my body. It was directly after that. And all of a sudden... so many things just came without me even wanting them, needing them.

And I'm like, okay, whatever.

Sure. I'll do that.

This came about at the same time.

And you didn't want to come on there. You didn't like, I don't want to have any, I don't even know. You didn't want to come. You just like, I didn't even know.

I didn't, I wasn't even in the world of watching podcasts or YouTube. No, it was my friend.

Oh, your friend. Sorry. Good friend.

Who's been with me my whole career, who actually, she heard me on that radio show. many years ago and she became a client and then I became a client of hers at the radio station. And then we started doing the shows together. We had like a 30 year relationship, you know?

And she was a fan of ours.

She was a big, she, she like, you know, you're like a Michael Jackson to her, you know? So she's like, she was like, you got, you got it. And she, she gets excited about a lot of things and she's like, you know, you got to get on the show. And I'm like, dude, I, I'm not, I'm not pushing myself. I'm not marketing myself anymore. I'm so fulfilled with, I, every day with the work I'm doing now, like I hadn't ever been that fulfilled. I'm happy. I was happy.

I didn't need it anymore. I didn't need any of that stuff. And for so long, I needed it. I needed the next, I couldn't even savor something that happened that I've been working toward a minute. Couldn't even savor it and be like, oh, I'm so proud of myself. It was like, well, what's the next thing? What's the next thing? Building a tolerance and nothing ever like hit it.

I need more and more and more. And it's because All of this disconnected from the body, right? Which I didn't know most of my career that it wasn't just intuition. We needed both. We need science. We need spirituality. We need both. Because this is the vessel we're born into.

There's a mission. But yeah. Yeah. She got you in. Yeah.

So for two years, two years, every three months, you have to go on this guy's show. I'm like, I'm not putting together a media packet. I have no time, no energy to edit stuff. I just don't want it. So finally she just kept being persistent. I'm like, all right, look, I'll do it. I'm like, but if you want, you have to submit me. And I didn't expect it. Like she said to like, how many people want to come on the show? And I'm like, all right, if you want to submit me and put like, take the time to put together like my 25 year career and videos.

And so she went and did it. She went and did it and emailed you guys. And like, literally it was like seven days later. She calls me up like she had just seen Michael Jackson and gotten his autograph, screaming, crying.

Oh my God, you're not going to believe this.

And I'm like, what? She's like, oh, they want you to come on. I'm like, okay. Like, okay. So I'll respond. That's good. And here I am like drinking like iced tea out of a straw. I don't know if somebody on YouTube is going to be like, is she drinking out of a mug out of a straw? I am.

Yes. So anyway. It's for your lipstick.

Because I like my lipstick.

Yeah, exactly.

So- I remember you guys were like, okay, let's do it on Zoom. Because I was like, not going to fly down, right?

Because I was like, I don't even know this guy.

So then we get on Zoom. And I'm like, I don't, whenever I do stuff, I don't like to have like a bias of anything.

So I don't. You haven't seen any of the shows.

No, I didn't know who you were. Didn't ever see anything. And you're just on Zoom. And it's just like a guy, like.

A coffee shop.

And you're like, okay. well, hi Marissa, you must be a big fan of the show. I'm like, I have no idea who you are.

And I'm like, that's amazing. Let's get into it.

And you just laughed. And I was like, I can talk to this guy.

Oh, that was great.

And we had like, I mean, I was like, I don't know. We just had the most amazing interview because I didn't care. I was just like, I'm not like, oh, I'm going on and I have to talk about it. I have an outline. I was just like, I'm just going to talk to this guy because my friend put me up to it. But like literally this came and And it was like something that, I mean, it just opened up to your audience and, and I don't like, I really don't read the comments or anything, but then.

We'll be right back after a word from our sponsor. And now back to the show.

You know, she was like, you got.

To read all the comments. Like once we're, you know, we were on vacation and I'm like, she's like, no, no, they're all like positive. And I'm like, what?

She's like, they love you.

And I'm like, What is going on? Like what is happening?

So- And then the episode aired while you guys were on vacation.

And we didn't have a laptop.

And you had no laptop and we were unprepared for everything.

Totally unprepared. You're like, you might want to have your systems in check.

So I- I didn't warn you. I didn't warn you. Well- But you didn't heed the warning. I didn't know we were, yeah. You didn't heed the warning, but I did warn you like, look- But I.

Did, I locked down the website, I had links, but it was the new website. I didn't think that people.

Would find your old website that was hanging.

Because I'm like, here's the link for the show notes and everything's in order. I built something like seven years ago on an old website and people, all these people went and found the old wooden roller coaster in the amusement park and were like- That wasn't working, the.

Cars weren't even running, it wasn't even blowing up.

We're on vacation and I'm like, what is going on with my phone? And like our, we had videos on this one server that expired years ago. And people were like, we can't get into these videos. And we're like, oh my God, there's like videos that are black in there. We have, so like Alex was like, we have to like stop at a restaurant.

Alex is your husband. Yes. It's just a confusion. Yes.

So we, you know, we stopped at a restaurant and after they closed, he went up to the manager. He's like, and I'm sitting there freaking, I can't even enjoy the vacation because we're getting, Hundreds of people being like, we can't get in to see these videos. And I'm like, there's no videos. And he had to borrow like the manager's like laptop.

On vacation.

On vacation.

This is weird.

While they're rolling silverware, like they're closed and I'm there for two hours trying to find videos to like put up. And we're like, oh my God. I mean, because I've been in the industry for so long that we've had big events.

We've had.

But this was like a tsunami all at once. Like it was like- It was very intense. Yeah, it was the most intense wave that we've ever had.

It happens. I know how to like.

Yeah, so it was... We were prepared the second time.

The second time you were a bit more prepared.

Yeah, and we're getting prepared.

You will be prepared for this time.

Yes, we're already preparing now for the third time.

I did warn you though. You did. I did my job. I did my job. I do generally let people know like it just.

You were kind of casual about it though.

Well, because I'm not like, hey man, you go get the tsunami and stuff. Like, I don't know what's gonna happen.

You're like, you might have some people coming your way.

That's what you said. That's generally what I say. I'm like, look, you might have some- I thought maybe a hundred. You might get a bump of traffic. That's what you said. You might get a bump of traffic, a little bit.

That's like a speed bump to me.

Yeah, but I can't, because I can't promise that for everybody because not everyone gets the reactions. It all really depends on the instructor or the guests. and their energy and how people connect with it. And the reason why, you know, you came on, like when you were brought to me by my wife and she's like, I think this might be a good person for you to have on the show. I looked at your stuff. I'm like, oh, first of all, I love the East Coast energy. So I was like, oh, I can smell my own. So I can smell the East Coast energy. But this kind of irreverent attitude towards spirituality, which I love because they're grounded and it's kind of like, look, you know, this is what I do. Yeah, I talk to dead people. channel,

I do psychic work and all this. Like, yeah, sure. But it's very nonchalant about it. And I love that kind of attitude. So when I saw that work in your work, I saw that energy in your work, I was like, oh yeah, we're gonna have a good time. And those are usually some of the best conversations when I have someone who's irreverent to the whole scenario. I love that.

You won't find me in a mind, body, spirit pair.

I'm not up there.

No, there's nothing wrong with it.

Nothing wrong with it. Hey, listen, you've never seen me at one either. Nothing that's wrong with it.

I'm just not up in the clouds. I'm not up in the clouds about it. Everything's going to be fixed from a crystal.

You know what I mean? And again, nothing wrong with crystals.

I have crystals in my house.

Exactly.

Love the crystals.

I have them around here somewhere. But the point is that the way I've approached this whole business of what I'm doing in this mission is grounded. It's grounded. It's trying to ground it in a place where people can really grab onto it and not be so far out. And we talk about very esoteric things on the show and we go far out. Like you just talk about Michael Jackson being channeled and all this stuff. Like we go out, but it's done in a very grounded way.

And that's what I love about your energy and why we wanted to bring you on as a mastery teacher because of this kind of energy that is rare in this space. It's not, there's not a lot I've done. We're closing in as of this recording, we're closing in on 700 episodes. Um, and I've spoken to a lot of people and it's, it's not, it's rare to find people who are in a grounded space when doing this. So, um, I appreciate that from you.

My students get a little, uh, upset because they think when they come, like the work that I'm doing now, like most people come in are highly sensitive. So they have intuitive abilities. They're really interested in the psychic and the mediumship stuff. And like, you can't talk about it for at least a year. Like we're not going there because if you're trying to do the work in the body and mediumship at the same time, it cancels each other out. You can't do that. I'm definitely not gonna teach it to you if you don't work on your trauma.

Definitely not.

Well, I mean, it's like any, it's the basic teacher's motto. Like you need a basis.

It's dangerous.

So perfect example. I go up to China somewhere and go to the Shaolin Temple. And I walk in, I'm like, I just saw A kung fu movie. And I would love to be able to do a spinning back kick like I saw in Jean-Claude Van Damme in Bloodsport. Can I do that, please? And you try to do that at first. You'll kill yourself. Correct. And anybody else around you.

So go be mad.

Exactly. But you're going to do a year of other work to get to the place to be able to do that thing that you want.

Consistently.

Consistently.

High broadcast. And you're going to be safe. And the safety of people is my concern. Mr. Miyagi, what do you have? What do you have him do? Wash cars.

Right.

We're like, why am I doing wax on, wax off? Why am I doing that? Well, eventually, less of memory. But like when the people I'm training, like because I didn't have that when I had my school for 12 years. I didn't have that. My life was a mess. I didn't have the somatic work. I wasn't grounded in my body.

And it showed, you know what I mean, in the fulfillment of my life. So now I'm like, I want to keep people safe. I want to have them feel a connection to themselves and connect to their own GPS system because it's important.

I want to ask you this because it just popped into my head as teachers. So lately, there's been a lot of different things happening in the world.

Yeah, yeah.

People, obviously organizations and industries and things are all being shaken up, right?

Right.

But there's a lot of heroes that are falling. that I've seen in the spiritual space. And then you go down, I went down to Brad Pitt Hall and started watching a lot of these cult documentaries and stuff like that on HBO and on Netflix and stuff like that, fascinating. I'm like, I wanna know what the psychological, how do people fall into that and who are they and what is about this teacher? What is that teacher doing? And where has that teacher gone? Because usually these teachers, they have a good message. They start in a good place, but they skew. You were just saying that when you were teaching, you were a mess, but the information that you were giving was still valuable.

Oh, absolutely, but people couldn't step into it.

Right, that's my point. So just because there's a teacher who is teaching very valuable, very ancient wisdom, things like that, but then you watch a show like Wild Wild Country with Osha, and I know there's a lot of Osha fans out there, and I know that Osha as a spiritual teacher has profound stuff. But on a human standpoint, the man went off the rails. And that documentary shows it, whether you believe it or not. The comments will do whatever the comments are going to do. But the man had 46 Rolls Royces. You've gone too far in all the stuff that came out afterwards. So that teacher and a lot of spiritual teachers don't go through this work.

They don't dig in deep and filter all that stuff out so they don't fall for victims of these kind of temptations of sex is a big one, money, fame. The spiritual ego is one of the worst egos I feel out there. Where there's masters like that are on the wall here who did all that work and then went out and taught and never fell for those, like Yogananda, never fell for any of that stuff. He was a fully realized master. So I just wanted to get your opinion on why do you think these figures are falling and your take on what I just said in regards to like, Just because there's a beautiful spiritual teacher who is teaching beautiful information doesn't particularly mean that they've done all the work themselves. What's your take on it? Yeah.

Remember I said the world can't hold the trauma anymore.

Right.

Right. So there's no shortcuts anymore.

That's the key.

So the reason why so many spiritual teachers in the last 20 years are so talented, so gifted... I've helped so many people in the first 20 years of my career. I mean, I've helped so many people. I didn't help myself. So it's sad. I feel bad because the reason why the spiritual teachers are the spiritual teachers is they're able to disconnect from the body more than somebody who had a very healthy family life. And so we develop these talents because we had to manage energy at a very young age. We've had to Be like, what's that sound?

I have to laser around this energy. I have to chameleon around this energy. You're used to being highly sensitive and perceptive at a very young age where you develop a talent for it to stay safe. So your intuition then gets used as a threat detector in your life. Then it's for your own guidance. So I could tell you 5 million times around the sun what's going to happen, what's going on, what to do, all this great wisdom.

when it comes to like a decision I had to make, I couldn't access that for myself because all of that was disconnected. I was disconnected from my own inner GPS system.

But is that intellectual wisdom or was that energy?

No, a felt sense. No, no, no, no.

Like when you're saying that you couldn't do it for me, that means that was the energy or the teachings that you were teaching- were on intellectual level or they're still an energetic level too, but you just couldn't apply it for yourself.

I was doing readings for 20 years. So I wasn't like doing spiritual teachings.

I was, I was, but with a spiritual teacher, I mean, like in general, you know, like would they, so if they're, if they're teaching something that's very, you know.

They could channel it.

They could chat. Oh yeah.

Because it's, they're out there. Their gift is being out of the body. They're more comfortable out of the body. They're more comfortable in disconnection because being in the body is numbing for them. It's traumatic. It's painful. It brings them back to ground. It brings them back to all those emotions they don't want to experience. So most, I would say 90% of the spiritual teachers, psychics, mediums that are very gifted have learned that talent at a really young age. And they're good at disconnecting from the body, numbing from the body, disconnecting from the body. And those talents serve a lot of people. But it's sad because their own life is important too.

But of course, they have their own journey. Right.

But the effects on the body, the effects on the mind, the effects on the spirit, I didn't realize till I stopped. When COVID hit, pandemic, I was doing live shows, big live shows all around the country. And most of my performances were live. And I was doing readings like every day. I was like full time, like family groups, you know, medium show, medium show all the time. And it wasn't until I stopped when all the shows were shut down in production that I'm like, oh my God, I feel so much better. Like I didn't realize the toll it was taking because I was so disconnected from myself and my body. I couldn't, the first time I felt real love was when I had my daughter. I was able to, because there was no threat. There was no- Right, it

was pure. Pure love. She loved me. And it was the first time I was able to really be affectionate with somebody, really like- It just, it was just.

Pure, you know?

And like- It's like a puppy. Yeah, cats, you know, I love cats. But like, I couldn't really connect on a deep level with people or- Because you were so guarded. Yeah, I could, I had a lot of friends, lots of friends, but I could only go so far. I couldn't like talk to them about my feelings. I couldn't like talk about going through repairs and ruptures and all that stuff.

But I mean, I just lived in a life of anxiety and- and overwhelm and shutdown and fight or flight because I was constantly managing energy and being codependent. Like that's what it was.

But it was, it was your body in your mind. It was your mind doing basically protecting itself.

It was protecting itself by the career I chose.

Interesting. What do you mean?

I chose that career because it's easier for me to be out of the body than in it.

You didn't focus on yourself. You focused on others.

Most of the people that applied to work with me, what do you think their job is?

Guess. You mean like your clients?

Yeah.

Like people that you used to read for?

No, no, no. Not the people that come for the somatic healing. Oh. What do you think that a common denominator of what they do based on their trauma? What do you think they do? Oh. What's their job?

Creatives? Nurse. Oh, wow.

Medical field.

Really?

Do you know why a lot of people go into that high adrenaline field? Because they had alcoholic parents that they couldn't fix. I'm not saying everybody.

Sure, of course.

But a lot of people, the spirit wants to believe now they can heal someone that they couldn't fix in their childhood.

Whatever that is.

Whatever that is. So I went into my career not because Yeah, I'm sure that there was a point to it, but like all of it was trying to heal people and fix people. I mean, basically give them healing on some level, but I wasn't healing myself.

We'll be right back after a word from our sponsor. And now back to the show.

And I had a very sad life, a very painful, anxious, but yet I'm on a stage in front of 600 people making them laugh. They're like, oh, you're so successful. You have so much going on for you. You're doing so well for yourself. And I'm like, I go home and I'm in a ball on the floor.

I'll tell you what.

You know what I mean?

I'll tell you what. Look, I had the pleasure of working throughout my career with a ton of stand-up comics. Oh, yeah.

That's another road.

A ton of stand-up comics I worked with.

Yeah.

And some of them are my dear friends. And I've spent a lot of time in clubs with them and spent time off. off stage with them and the concept of the sad clown is absolutely accurate. I mean, some of the- That's how they know. I've worked with some of the biggest standups in the world. Yeah. And they're great people, but they are carrying some stuff with them.

Oh, there's a lot of depression.

I mean, carrying their, they carry stuff and they'll go, and I saw it, I'd be with them and I'd go on like a tour with them and I could see them before then stage, then afterwards.

Yeah.

How do you live watching them?

They live in nervous system dysregulation. They live in states of overwhelm, high production, overproduction, and overwhelm, and then shutdown. And most people live in this cycle right here. They overproduce because that's where their worth is. They overdo. They overwork. They over-succeed. Get so overwhelmed, the nervous system gets overwhelmed because it's beyond their capacity. They crash. They isolate. They shut off the world for a little while, rev the energy back up and go through the whole cycle again.

It's fascinating because I would see there were some stand-ups that were called road dogs because they would just be on the road every weekend. No matter what. And they did not need the money. Right. Like at all.

They just want it out of themselves.

Yeah, that's it. They were making millions a year. And I would see them like, every month, every weekend, they'd be on the road somewhere. And they'd come back home for two or three days, and then boom, back on the road. And they would do this constantly. And I was wondering, I'm like, wow, they can't get off the high.

Because it's a high being on stage, you know that. It's a disconnect, yeah. Yeah, it's not only a disconnect, but it's a high. You get adrenaline. When I did the Ascension Conference, and I was on stage, and I don't know where it came from, I became a stand-up. I was like, hey! I was making everyone laugh. I had a ball, like.

After I got off the stage- Then what happens when you get off?

No, no, no. I was fine. No, I was completely cool. But it was a high. I get it. And I go, oh, I can see how people could get addicted to this. And then I told my wife, we should do this every week. And she's like, no.

Until you have an audience that doesn't work for you. Right.

But that scenario was like people who came because they loved you. Oh, just for you. Yeah, they loved you and they love what you're doing and everything. But a standup, you never know. what you're going to do. So it's a much more difficult thing.

But even as a medium, when I had shows where people were coming for me, you don't, you don't know the energy of the crowd or the night. And we used to assess the crowd by the psychic jokes, the psychic jokes. And when I like looked out, I'm like, Oh, nobody's laughing at that one. It's going to be a tough night. You know, you just know that like, there's people going to complain no matter what you do.

Right. You know? Oh, I know. Yeah. I know people think I might, I'm going.

To say, you know, say it, say it.

People don't like my laugh.

What?

I don't understand it. It's the insane thing. People are like, he laughs too much. He's always smiling. You're too happy.

In this industry, you're too happy?

I'm too happy. Your laugh is fake. I'm like, fake.

Fake.

No, that's the thing. I could vouch for this.

I talk to you outside of here.

I'm not trying to laugh either, though.

I talk to you outside here a lot.

Yeah, we've been together for a long time now working on these shows.

And you're actually even more like crazy and funny outside. Like, Like you're like a little.

Bit more composed. I'm a little bit more composed.

But you are like, I don't know, like why? Like we're not, spirituality is humor. It's a sense of humor. You're supposed to have fun. You're supposed to laugh. You're supposed to enjoy life.

That's one of the highest vibrations. It's not all serious. Like get out of yourself. It's one of the highest vibrations is laughter and being happy.

But you know somebody who's going to say that about you is somebody who can't, who isn't having fun. Yeah, or does– But why do people even feel the need to feel like they have to go and write that about you?

What I find fascinating– Because it's so boring. Let's get on a rant here for a second. Yeah, yeah. Okay, go ahead. What I find fascinating is that– I don't read all the comments, but I glance at them every once in a while.

I'm sure you do.

I do look at the comments every once in a while, and I find it fascinating. Some of the negative ones are hilarious. I think they're great because they're so out there. I'm like, wow. I mean, fantastic. Some of them are sharp, but really well-written stuff. But I'm going, why are you here? If you're watching this, that means there's a curiosity or you're just a troll. And if you just want to troll, God bless. Do what you want to do. Fine. But if you're here and you're watching this and you're just like, you know what? These people are crazy. They're talking about the devil's work or they're doing this. Why are you here?

Because I don't go to other people's sites that I don't agree with on anything else and just write negative Like, you know, you don't go to a racist YouTube channel. I'm like, I can't believe you people are doing this kind of stuff.

Like. Yeah, I'm not going to go to like a bocce ball, like YouTube channel and be like, oh, you guys are just, why are you doing that.

With the balls?

Like, I'm not going to. Like, that just was a weird example.

Well, yeah. Like a pickleball. They're like, pickleball. It's not real tennis. Like, it's like, I'm not, why am I going to do that? Because people want to believe. By the way, I do like pickleball. I haven't played it, but I understand.

People want to believe. They want to. They really have, they're really lost in, and they really want to, but their nervous system and something won't allow them. So, oh, the best, and it's such, it's so annoying, is that when people start to, one little thing doesn't seem, seems like you say something, oh, it's a scam, it's a scam.

Everything's a scam.

In the century. But I understand why people do that, because they've been so abused.

They have been scammed.

They've been so abused. Yeah, absolutely. And there's so much of that going around that people, I get it, oh, I get it all the time.

But people just use it too freely. It's just like, everything's a scam.

Like everything.

Like, oh, I can't like sign out of something. It's a scam. You know, like, no, like just go look in the settings.

It's there.

Like, like any, any, any in this industry, it's any excuse to use the word scam.

It's so annoying. Yeah, because there's been so many bad players over the years.

Yeah, but that's not my fault.

I agree.

It's not your fault.

No, no, no. I get it.

You're a scam because you laugh too much.

I laugh too much. That's true.

So that means that you are fake.

I'm fake.

And you are a joker.

And you are a clown. There's no way I could be this happy. I apologize.

I'm not trying to be out here to impress anyone. I don't care. I'm going to say what I'm going to say and whatever. Because I'm not trying to advance my career right now. I'm not trying to Like, I'm not trying to do anything. I'm just being like, this is the way it is. This is what I believe. And I'm okay with it today. Before I was like, well, can I say that? Can I say this? How do I come across? How are people going to see me? Like, I don't care.

Let me ask you a question. I'm going to ask, because this isn't, it's on the topic of this. You know, one of the things, every once in a while we'll get comments about like, because I refer to what we do, like what psychics and mediums and channels do sometimes is the craziness or the insanity of like what happens to you.

And they get upset. They're like, I can't, can you use another word? They get triggered by it. And I find it fascinating because I'd say it in a very loving, humorous way. There's never been one guest who's been offended by it because it's just fun. When I'm like, when you hear people talking to you in your head, it's crazy.

It sounds crazy. It sounds insane. And we have to talk about it like that because it isn't like something that happens to everybody. So what is your take on why people go down that road? Like they can't, because it's humorous. I'm trying to bring humor to this. Because if I can't say, Marissa, look, you talk to fricking dead people. That's not, that's crazy. What did you think the first time you saw Uncle Bob walk in the room?

Kind of thing. What's your take on that? Why do you think people get so like bent out of shape? Not everybody, by the way, this is a very small percentage, but I find it a fascinating one because they know I'm, and they've even said, I know you're saying it with humor and I know you're doing it with love, but can you find another? I'm just, is it a triggering thing for them, I guess?

I don't even understand what you're asking me.

Yeah. Because people don't like I use those words.

This has been such a working part of my life, even before I knew what I was doing, that it's not anything different. It's not like I'm just a normal person walking around and all of a sudden I hear a voice. It's not Hollywood. It doesn't work that way.

You're not Whoopi Goldberg? No, it's not like I.

Hear somebody singing. I'm like, no, it's like, it's always been a working part of my life.

But you understand the understanding of someone who hasn't had that their entire life, that it sounds a little bit odd.

I think everybody has these things happen.

Yes, but that opened it up as much as you two are being a professional.

But I think people think it's that dramatic and it's not.

Fair enough.

But some people, everybody's mediumship is different, okay? Yeah. So some people have a smell, like some people just smell.

Yeah, the Claire's, the Claire's, yeah.

And they're like, well, I'm not a medium, but I could smell my uncle's aftershave or I could smell their, I'm like, no, that is a form of mediumship. It's just your form. You know, I don't like get people static, like seeing them as a visual. You don't see dead people. I don't. But some people do and they're muted. So they don't hear. But I get it as an informational channel.

I get, everybody's is different, but it doesn't mean it's wrong.

No, no. But my point is, my question is, why do you think people are triggered by me using the word crazy or insane?

It's because a lot of people that watch your show have been children that have experienced things.

Sure.

And they were told by adults that they were crazy or that didn't happen. So they were invalidated at a very young age. So the pattern is that their subconscious, anytime they feel invalidated or thought of as crazy, they're going to get triggered.

That's it. makes absolutely all the sense in the world.

And it's a sensitivity because- I get it. I get it. My own mother would not come see a show for eight years. She thought she went to see a priest. She's like my daughter. I came home one day.

Exorcist.

I came home one day. This is in high school. Came home one day. And I used to love going to this bookstore. They had crystals and they had books.

It's like an occult book section. Yeah.

And I loved reading Brian Weiss and the reincarnations. I just enjoyed it. Yeah. I come home one day, like I was driving at the time and there is a, one of those big barrels and it's on fire in the, in the driveway. It's all my books, all my cards, everything is on fire. She lit everything on fire in the driveway, went to see the priest. She, I mean, it took her eight years. I was doing shows and I needed a ride cause I couldn't drive there. And she stood like, there's the door over here. She stood with the door propped open and a chair there. Cause she didn't know what was going to happen in the room.

And she'll tell this story to the day. There was a person, I guess, who came in and their chair was against the wall and they had a jacket on their chair, but no one could see it because it was against the wall. It was like a NASCAR. It was her dad's NASCAR.

Favorite NASCAR.

Yeah, with the number on the back. And it came through with the number and she pulls it back from the thing, turns it out. My mom ran, like she ran out. And then she's like, she saw how much it meant to this woman. She saw how healing it was. She saw people crying. She saw people having healing moments.

And from that point on, she's like, wow, this is the most amazing thing. But it took her eight years of like, not really want to talk to me about what I did. And then she started being a big supporter after that. But yeah, people have it in their mind. They have certain things in their mind about this stuff.

And the reason, yeah, because of the Because of her programming, because your mom's programming over the years, she couldn't wrap her head around this because she's been told that this was evil or bad.

I don't think she, well, real Catholic. Oh, well, there it is.

Yeah, yeah.

But my spiritual experiences that I had, especially the one I had when I was 14, was a religious experience. It wasn't like.

And she was on board with it?

I don't think she ever really talked to me about it. But it was a religious experience after I got confirmed. So it's connected to my faith.

By the way, what was your confirmation name? Do you remember? Yeah. What's your confirmation? Because I have a confirmation name story.

What's yours?

No, no. You have to tell me yours first.

Christina?

Yeah. Lightweight. So what I did, I was at this point when I was, I think it was middle school, right? So eighth grade or something like that when we got confirmed, like 14 or something. And I was already, I didn't buy anything that they were selling. So I was already out, like, I just, it was like, this makes no sense to me.

I don't care. So then I was like, well, wait, they go, well, you get to choose your confirmation name. I'm like, I do. I'm like, yes. I'm like, does the priest have to read this out loud to everybody?

They're like, yes.

I'm like, got you.

What'd you do?

So, and my friends were like, you won't do it. There's no way you were going to give this name to them to read. I'm like- Hold my beer. I don't drink beer, but hold my soda.

At the time.

At the time. Hold my soda. And we're there in confirmation. And all of a sudden, you know, Jenny, blah, blah, blah. And, you know, David. And then goes, Alex. And you see the guy pause. And I knew the priest and the priest knew me. And he's like, you could see like the cursing underneath his breath. Bartholomew Humperdinck?

No, you didn't.

Bartholomew Humperdinck is my confirmation name.

You did not. Bartholomew Humperdinck is my confirmation name. And you made him read it.

Oh, out loud. And the entire church was like, I gained legendary status in eighth grade at that point.

I mean, that should be your life's work right there. You should just give, you know, we should give back to your fans in the comments. You should give them their confirmation names.

Oh, everybody in the comments, If you need a confirmation, I want the most entertaining confirmation names ever. Please let's start listing off the best confirmation names you can get.

I think you should give people their confirmation names.

I don't have the time to give everybody their confirmation name, unfortunately. But if you leave a few in there, I might go in and give you a couple.

Well, the person, I mean, your fans are a little skew, a little older than 14. Yes.

Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah.

So if there's a few in there, I mean, you might have one or two.

Absolutely. Absolutely. But yeah, Bartholomew Humperdinck is my confirmation name.

And they could say, oh, it was Alex Ferrari that gave me my confirmation name.

Yeah.

I still get priests to be shocked.

For all the Catholics out there.

I'm still Catholic today. I'm not a recovering Catholic. I'm still Catholic. I'm still Roman Catholic. Really?

So you go to church still?

Not every Sunday, but I still go. Because my spiritual experience was religious. And that's when these gifts got activated.

We'll be right back after a word from our sponsor. And now back to the show.

Let's dig into that just for a slight second. Because I have another friend of mine, Julie. She calls herself a cafeteria Catholic. She comes and grabs things when she needs them. But she goes to church every Sunday.

Yeah, I don't. I'm not that disciplined.

And I'm like, but you don't believe in anything they're teaching. I don't understand why you're there. She's like, oh, it's the energy of the room. And she goes, I can see energy flowing through the priest. and coming out, regardless of what position, there is something going on. And there's just the group praying and everything. There's a power in a congregation coming together.

That's not really what I'm there for, but I understand.

No, no, but that's her point. Yeah. So, because again, you don't, I'm assuming you don't buy a lot of the dogma. Right, right.

No, it's more about the Catholic mystics that I'm connected to.

So you're more into like the Gnostics and.

No, no, no. Like Padre Pio and St. Teresa and, you know, like.

Frances, yeah. Yeah.

And like the things that I saw in my vision, I mean... It was, the reason I have these abilities and why I'm on this path is because of that experience.

So it was the Christian mystics that really drew you in and kept you in.

I mean. I wouldn't say they drew me in when I was 14 and I had this experience. Like, I did see Jesus. Like, I did have an experience. And I saw Franciscan monks. I mean, I don't know. Still to this day, I can't tell you if it was near death or if it was just an experience. But like, I woke up as a 14 year old kid and being like, I want to go home. And I mean, I saw like, I saw things on the other side.

Yeah. No. So you had like a full blown kind of almost awakening.

It was, well, I had, I had a light go through my chest and go through my whole body and go into complete euphoria. Yes. And when I got back from next level soul in October, something, I had a four day euphoric experience, the light going into my chest.

Yeah. That must've been intense.

Well, it got answered a 10 year prayer.

Yeah.

Because none of this stuff is just for me. It's to take it and help other people. But when you tell the universe, put me through it, get ready, because it will. But you're going to get the rewards. If you stretch yourself and you take... Right now is a time in the universe to take big leaps and to take big risks for your dreams and your big mission.

Stay out of the comfort zone is what I would say to people is... The more out of your comfort zone you are, the more rewards you will reap and the more you're going to help humanity. And that's for you really. Specifically, I'm talking to you.

Me personally? Yes. Tell me again.

I think you need to do a little stretching.

Oh, I'm stretching. Yeah. I'm stretching more now than I've ever stretched in my life.

With more creative stuff that you.

Want to do. Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, we're getting there.

Creativity is what's going to open up all that body stuff that's going on. That's what's going to heal that.

Well, I mean, mastery was the first kind of.

It's still connected to your work and what you're doing, but there's that little boy dreams and goals that you have in there.

Oh, you mean like to do a Star Wars movie one day or, you know, and.

There's still stuff that you need... need to push through that has to happen in the next seven months and there's a california reference okay and i told you portugal.

Mm-hmm all right all right before we get into this oh i'm sorry before we get into that we don't need to get into.

It i'm just i'm just telling you that part of your mission is what the things that i'm doing the things that are people are going through if you stay comfortable right now you're going to be real uncomfortable So your comfort zone is going to be real uncomfortable.

If you're comfortable right now, if you stay in the comfort, you're going to be real uncomfortable.

In the next seven years, yeah. This seven-year cycle is risk-taking, launching, taking big leaps and strides in your life to help humanity. Really, it's about making an impact in the world. We have to do that within ourselves in order to bring it to the world. Every single person is responsible. And if people still sit there and they're just on the internet making comments, being like the world sucks and all these things are horrible and let me talk about politics and let me rant and rave and complain, you're not helping the world. In my community, nobody gets to talk about that stuff. They can't because we need, you have to have a space where you get in the helicopter for a little bit so you can see clearly and you

can make your decisions. You go back into the world anytime and see what's going on and engage in negativity, engage in comments and political discussions.

Oh, it's very easy. Right.

So people are like, well, you won't let us talk about all this. I'm like, no, because you have to have a space where you don't have any of this energy. There has to be a clean energy where you can feel safe and it's clear. Because your intuition right now is not about giving readings. It's about guiding yourself. And there's an intuition which is external and an intuition which is internal. It's in the solar plexus. It's a felt sense.

It's in your body. And if you're disconnected from your body, you don't feel anything's going on in your body. You can't feel that, which is a true intuition for the GPS system that needs to turn on. And that's intuition and movement. It's not static intuition. We talked about that in the masterclass, but I see something with film over there for you.

You know, it's, it's very interesting because people have been asking me for years on the show, like when are you going to start, you know, like it's easy, like when are you going to start making movies or shows or things like that. And I've been very kind of like dipping my toe in all of it because it's something that I'm– you've been working with me now so you understand. I was working with you and directing you in what we were doing yesterday with the course. And I'm very particular about how I want to do things and I want to do things at a very high level.

So whenever I go into a project, it has to be at a certain quality level or I'm just not going to do it. Yeah, yeah.

I get it.

So I've been dipping my toe. So mastery was a huge. leap for me which.

By let me just say it's like i saw some of the other other like just little trailers yeah and i first let's just talk about like obviously you have expertise and knowing channels and that kind of thing but like his editing skills like i went to i went to most people don't know this but i went to graduates i have a master's degree in film and television and television most people don't know that so i have a love for editing and the arts and film and All this stuff and your editing skills.

Oh, beautiful. I appreciate that.

So like all the colors, everything's cohesive. Everything's done so well. You're not going to see that on a lot of other networks where it's just like Zoom calls or whatever. Like you put so much time and effort into your art that like people need to see that and appreciate like the other work you do, which is all the art.

Like you as an artist, I don't think people know about that. I think they see Next Level Soul and they probably think other people.

Do this, but you do it.

No.

To most of it i mean it's beautiful i well i appreciate that very much and you're.

Highlighting all of these teachers these spiritual teachers it's so beautiful like how you're highlighting people that are doing these master classes and you're you're not just like taking whoever's coming and wants to do it like you're putting together a group of people that are really going to serve your audience so that's.

What we're trying to do and i appreciate by the way.

And it's very respectful it's very it's very.

Good well i appreciate that very much i respect those kind words um Yeah, I mean, a lot of people think that, you know, this massive giant corporation, it's just my wife and I and a beautiful team that we've put together to do certain things. But I'm not editing these because I don't have time to edit these anymore.

But the mastery classes, all the trailers are cut by me and the website's done by me. Yeah. The graphics are done by me. Like it's a lot of stuff that I need to let go of.

The transitions, the music. the graphics, the B-roll, everything is beautiful. So people watch that and they probably think you just pay people to do this, but it's you.

You know what is funny? When we were putting Mastery together, and then we'll go into Mastery, when we were talking about Mastery, putting together Mastery, I wanted to do something that hadn't been done before. So in the way that I'd never seen the esoteric ideas be presented with real respect, real true respect. And I wanted to highlight these wonderful teachers that we have in Mastery and present their work in a way that hasn't been presented before. So when you have a psychic abilities course or a mediumship course or astrotherapy course or things like that, nothing like that exists in the world. So I wanted to do that.

But then, so we put it together and then I hired, we have a great producing and And post team that's putting together the editing and the graphics and all that stuff. And I'm overseeing all of it. But when it came to the trailers, I was like, who am I going to hire for this? I'm like, you know what? Let me just try one. And it opened up something in me that I'd forgotten about. Because I hadn't cut trailers in years.

Let that lead you.

And when I opened that door up, I was like, because I got my start as a commercial editor and a promo editor. That's when I was a kid. Yes. So I've forgotten the feeling I got. Now I love, like I do, I'm doing all the promos for all the mastery classes because I have to, because I, first of all, it's very difficult to hire someone to do it because they don't have to, they have to understand the concepts and all that stuff. But now I enjoy it.

I love it. And I could do them. And it's, it opened up doors. I was like, oh shoot, well, I gotta go do this now. I'm okay now. So it's like the universe is opening certain little steps for me to take.

But that's what you have to pay attention to because that's the answer. How does that feel in your body when you.

Oh, I feel fantastic when I'm doing that stuff. Oh, on set? Did you see me?

That's your intuition. That's your second intuition opening is the felt sense in the body is the truth. And if you are disconnected from that and only into the external intuition, you will not feel that because you will not have access to it. So the universe is saying this is the answer to your question. You need to follow this.

So sometimes people are like, well, if it doesn't make me money, it's not a side hustle. Like I'm not going to do it right. Most of the things that led me to the greatest times in my life and to the greatest successes, even like where the things I started and I had no interest in making money with them.

Like it was just like I did it for the joy of doing it. So something's trying to tell you something with that. And you need to follow that and put more of that energy into your life.

We are. We are doing that. I'm shooting. I mean. We just shot a chorus. I have another chorus coming, another teacher coming in this weekend. Los Lobos?

What's that?

Los Lobos? Yeah. Why did you say Los Lobos?

I don't know.

Los Lobos is a Mexican band.

Well, I don't know.

They sung La Bamba back in 86.

Somebody just told me to say that to you.

Los Lobos? I mean, I enjoy their music, but I'm not a huge fan of them.

There's some connection.

Con Los Lobos? Yeah. Hey.

Yes, con Los Lobos.

Hey, man. I love the guys. I mean, I love their music.

Just remember I said it.

All right, Los Lobos. And I'm going to call you like, you won't believe. I was just hanging out at this coffee joint and Los Lobos walked in.

And who's like Steven in your life? Do you have a Steve?

Spielberg? No. No?

I feel like there's going to be like some like I get a sense because it came throughout the whole interview and I'm like, wait, I'm going to wait. I'm going to wait. So there's I feel like this is a California reference. And I feel like it's somebody business related. That's alive. Between the ages of 52 to 59. And I feel like he might be presenting something to you, which you might not like. Initially, you'd be like, I don't want it. This is like.

This is like a big person? Like someone we would all know?

No, no, no. It could just be someone that you... Somebody in business.

Oh, okay.

No, it's a business like.

Not film business, just business.

I don't know. It feels more like a project.

Oh, okay.

And I feel you really should consider it because you might not want to.

All right. When it comes in, I'll call you.

First or last name or some variation.

Yeah. All right.

But it's a California reference.

Yeah, I don't think, I mean. i mean and not la and not la.

No and there's a connection in 1972 with this person too so you just won't just write these things down or just oh.

Wow okay i wasn't born yet so.

No with this person there's something significant with him in 1972 like maybe he had a big some sort of big career thing in 1972. I don't know.

He wouldn't be 59.

I don't know. I just get 1972.

Okay. All right. Well, it's always been like there's a handful of people that I've been dying to get on the show and I want to have a conversation with about spirituality.

He won't be on the show.

No, no. I understand. Yeah. I understand.

He's like a business connection.

No, no, no. I'm talking about that's on a separate standpoint. But someone like Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, James Cameron and a handful of others that I would like, but they're like, yeah, like people I would love to just sit down and have a deep conversation with. Cause there are people who shaped my, my career and my life in many ways. So, yeah, it's, it's fascinating. I've heard so many, cause I talked to so many psychics and I've heard so many different things.

And I always, I always, because, you know, people offer me these, these information and I'm like, okay. And I pack into my back of my head, And then when I hear four or five people say the same thing, I'm like, all right, I got to pay attention to that one. I got to pay attention to that one.

You just want to write these down because you won't remember them.

Well, it's being recorded, so we're good.

I know, but you're not going to be like, oh, let me go to like 145 on this date and remember what she said. I just write it all down now because then you have it.

We'll be right back after a word from our sponsor. And now back to the show.

All right.

Because this hasn't happened yet.

No. And when do you think it's happening? A year, two years?

Six to nine months.

Oh, this year?

I think so. I'm not good with timing though.

Give or take. Within 12 months.

Yeah, I think so. I can usually feel like if it's further out or closer, but I just feel like you've been working on your own for so long that like being a part of like a team project or doing something like that might be like, I don't know.

Like, I'm a lone wolf. I mean, I'm a lone wolf with a beautiful team, but yes.

But this wouldn't be like a lone wolf project. And so that's why you'd be like, I don't know.

Do I want to go play in that sandbox?

Yeah, because it would definitely take you away from what you're doing now.

That's the thing, though. That's what I'm saying. If tomorrow Stephen shows up and goes, I want you to do this show with me. What would you do? That's the question. Can you imagine? No. I mean, it's like- Yes, I can. Big leaps. So like, let's say something like that presents itself to me. And this, I think, is a good lesson for everybody involved. If something like that is presented, if there's something like that is presented to you, it's either one of two things. It's one, the path you should be taking, or two, it's a test to see if you're still holding on to old stuff.

Correct.

It's one of those two things. If any of that would present itself, I don't think I would, it wouldn't be like something I would- be holding onto, I think it'd be like, hey, are you ready? Here's the shot. Do you want to do it? But like if tomorrow Marvel shows up and like, hey, you want to do an Avengers movie? I'd be like, absolutely not.

It's not- No, no, it wouldn't be like that.

No, no, but not that I would even be in the conversation. I'm just saying the stupidity of it. But if a project of that magnitude, I wouldn't be interested. But if someone that I respected shows up and go, hey, can you, would you be interested in doing something like this, but come at it from your perspective? It'd be an interesting conversation, but I don't know if I could leave what I'm doing for six months.

Comfort versus?

No, no, I don't know. Literally, I don't know if I could leave doing this for six months.

See what's happening right now?

Tell me, yeah.

Your nervous system is triggering.

It absolutely is. I'm already getting a little, I'm getting a little something coming up while we're doing this.

This is good.

This is an exercise.

Showing you where your capacity is to even imagine that.

Well, because I've been burned so many times.

Protection coming up right now.

I've been burned so many times by Hollywood and by all that kind of stuff. And if anything showed up like that, it would have to be through somebody that I just.

Your eyes are changing, your speech is changing, you're talking fast. That means to me, we've hit the electric fence just by talking about it. So imagine what we need to do.

Thank you everybody for watching this therapy session with me.

This is what we need to coach on the resistance. This is where the somatic expansion work is absolutely necessary because you're like even thinking about embodying that and it's already, your protectors are like, No, you've already been down this road. They're going to start telling you stories.

I'm literally feeling like I'm feeling a little sick in my stomach right now. I feel like energy is coming up. It's weird. This is fascinating to go through this in real time.

Do you want me to take you through an exercise to stop that?

Let's do it. I think everybody should go through this exercise with me. Let's do it. Let's do it.

You're going to sound like a cow a little bit.

I've sounded worse.

So I want you to pay attention to how you feel right now. You feel a little anxious?

Yeah, it's hilarious. I want people to understand we're just talking about what ifs that are so out there. Because it's like lottery ticket. Like, you know, if Steven Spielberg comes in and gives you an offer to make a movie or a show, that is literally a lottery ticket. Not every human being on the planet gets it. And there's only hundreds, if not a few hundreds of people in the world that have ever gotten that opportunity.

So now your nervous system is saying, well, there's not really a chance.

Oh, no, no, no. I've been close. Do you understand I went on Steven's reality show called On the Lot back in the day?

So now we're talking about Steven.

Yeah, because I'm using that as an example. Steven keeps coming, yeah. Yeah, but I'm going to talk about Steven. So I almost got, and for people who don't know, and this is old school stuff, I got to the top 25 of Project Greenlight in season two. Then I interviewed Chris Moore, the producer. I'm like, why didn't I get in? And I was in the actual opening credits of season two and I was on HBO and everything was super exciting. But I didn't get in. Then On the Lot, which was a show one season that Mark Burnett and Steven Spielberg put together about finding the next great director. I was flown out.

I got to the very end of it. Didn't make it through. So I have no doubt that that could happen because I was close a few times. Right. But I know you're like laughing. You're like, this is hilarious to watch me unravel in front of you, everybody. I'm like going crazy now. But this is what I do.

Right.

And you understand, I noticed my voice changing. I noticed the tempo of my voice changing right now. My energy is very like out like that. Now my defenses are up. I'm actually really analyzing myself as I'm talking right now because I'm I'm terrified, I'm scared of it. It's really interesting.

Just think you're just imagining it.

I'm just imagining it. I'm just imagining the idea, the potential of something like that happening. And I'm already like defensive. So this is a great lesson for everybody watching that is like when an opportunity presents itself and you're not capable of holding it, that could be a relationship, that could be a job, that could be a career move, that could be your body, all that kind of stuff, whatever it is. If you can't hold the energy, for it.

It'll go.

Yeah. A lot of people, I don't know if I've talked to you about this last time, but I don't like the word self-sabotage. I don't believe in it because it's self-shaming.

Yeah. Agreed.

It's like just, no, you don't have the capacity. You have limited capacity for it. And it's not like you're doing this to yourself so that you don't have your dreams happen or whatever.

No, of course not. Yeah.

But your nervous system, this is where I push people to show them this is Even just imagining that. So people are like, well, what's my highest level path? Well, if I told you, you would freak out. Because if I told you what your highest level path is, your nervous system cannot even comprehend the possibility of it.

So can I tell you what my spiritual teacher told me? Connie. Yes. Yes, Connie. Yes. 92-year-old Connie, who's still feisty as ever. Connie, when she brought this in, she knew everything you're saying. And she still doesn't tell me everything. She'll tell me, you got to open up a spiritual podcast. And I'm like, what?

If she would have told me this, I would have never been able to hold the idea, ever. She's like, if I would tell you, your head would explode. So she piecemeals me as I'm ready. As my capacity grows, she piecemeals me. And then she'll stretch me just a little bit farther and just a little bit farther and just a little bit farther. And I'm getting to a place now where I'm like, listen, I think I'm ready.

I mean, I've been told everything. I can see where we're going and hopefully what we'll be able to do in the world. all of that. And she's like, nope, you're not there yet. I can't tell you everything. Because if I tell you everything that's going to happen to you, you're.

You won't do it.

Not only when you won't do it, your nervous system will start to fry because you won't be able to grasp it. So now going through this, that all makes so much sense because I just didn't have.

You embodied it.

I couldn't have the capacity for it. I just didn't have the ability to hold onto that idea. So just merely saying that Steven Spielberg is going to Call me one day because he's a fan of the show. And it's like, hey, man, I want to do a show with you. It's so mind-boggling to me. I can't even– I can't hold on. And I'm anxious about it. And we're having a conversation. That's how powerful this is. So let's open up the capacity within myself to accept any of that kind of information or that kind of opportunity, whatever that might be if it comes to me in the future. Because when it does come to me, I want to be prepared for it. if it does, to make a real decision that how can I serve humanity better?

Because it's not going to be about me. It has to be how can I help humanity? Because I really don't care about me. I want to help people. So if this project, I just need to open up. So how do we do that?

I want to say one thing about this work, right, when you get there. A lot of people want the guarantee of what they're going to jump into.

No, no. No, no.

I'm saying, when I do this work with everybody, they're like, wait, I have to jump off the high dive. And I'm standing here. And I just did this with Jackie, who you met.

Mm-hmm.

Her dream job came up for her. She's been with another job 18 years. And I'm like, it's coming around. The merry ground keeps coming around. Came up every five years, right? And she's like, I feel like I'm standing on a high dive and you're asking me to jump and I can't do it. I'm like, yeah, because you're looking at safety versus the unfamiliar road to the nervous system. It doesn't matter if it's the dream job or something. It doesn't know the difference between good and bad. And so you're jumping into the unfamiliar. Nervous system doesn't like unfamiliar.

Yes.

Because at least there's a pathway, a dark force. At least you know when the dog's going to jump out. At least you know what's there. Yeah, it's constant. But she wanted to please everybody that she's been with for a long time. And everything just started coming up. And I'm like, I don't know if she's going to do it.

And she's been doing. Finally, she jumped in this work after 30 years. It took me four years to get her there. It took her two years to get me here. And she's like, I haven't ever been in this situation because you want to be able to see the road. And when you have to do these jumps, there's no guarantee.

There's no foreshadowing. There's nothing there in front of you. You just have to jump.

Before we go into this, I was just thinking about this because it's something I always bring up. Years ago, I did a documentary series in Florida about the Florida lottery winners. And I always found it fascinating that people win the lottery, most of them either self-destruct, lose all their money, or back to where they were within five years.

And all of that makes most sense after this conversation because there's just, even though the money is there and it's just money, it's an energy, they don't understand. They can't receive it. Not only can they receive it, they can't hold it.

They can't hold it. That's a lot of energy.

And they want to get rid of it as fast as possible. And then there was one guy, I never forgot him. I interviewed people who just spending and spending and spending and spending, and then you knew they were going to run out eventually. And self-destruct. And then there's the other one who didn't quit his job. He was like in his late 50s, early 60s. Didn't quit his job.

Went to his work every day. He's like, I don't want to lose my pension. He'd won $ 10 million and he did not want. So he just put it in the bank, literally, and did not even look at it. He just couldn't process it. So he just left it alone. He goes, every once in a while, my wife walks past a dress she wants, we buy it for her.

That was a quote. I never forgot that. I was like, wow.

Because he's still living in the same limited capacity.

He couldn't even grasp it.

It's almost a betrayal to his childhood.

To everything. To everything.

You have to be able to hold this stuff.

All right. So let's hold it. And I want everyone to go through it with me. Tell me just.

I want to know, I first want you to observe your body.

Okay.

Tell me where you feel the triggering.

Right here.

Right there. Right there.

Right here. Right. That's where the anxiety started to come up.

Do you notice your speech?

Oh no, my speech started to change.

Did you feel a little spacey? Like your vision's not as clear?

No, I didn't feel that. No, I actually sharpened.

It sharpened? Oh yeah, because you're like dilating to like running from the tiger.

Correct, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I got it. Everything's sharpened all of a sudden. And then I was like, wait a minute, but then this, and then that. You heard it.

You're still in it.

I'm still in it, exactly. I'm not the mellow, chill guy. I'm like, I was like. Yeah, okay. Yeah.

So- When we're about to go into these things, and you might have to be in a position to go into these things, you want to train like an Olympic athlete to train to go up the mountain. If you're going up Mount Everest, you're not just going to go up on your own. You got to train. If you're running a 2K and you never ran before, you got to train. So you have to train the system to build up resistance and tolerance to stepping into the doorway.

Because everyone's like, I want the answer. What's my purpose? I want the answer. Well, what are you going to do with it? You got to step through the doorway. The somatic work is what does it. So, cause you see what happens. So we're just going to do a quick little exercise, which we have another one in mastery.

That's like a sequence.

Yes. Yes.

So this one's going to make us like, I don't know, like how you want to do this audio wise. Cause it's, it's a really weird sound that you're going to have to make. You know, like the moo sound of the cow makes, we're going to say voo. Right. But in a lowest register. So, so like a foghorn. So you're going to put your one hand on your chest.

Okay.

And then your other hand on your belly. You're going to take a deep breath through the belly all the way up. And then we're going to go all the way down.

No, that's a little, no, no, no.

But like project out like a theater voice project out and go all the way down past the point where you feel like the exhale pushes all the breath out.

Okay.

Go a little further. but you're still breathing from the chest. I want you to breathe from the belly, okay? You're like this, right? So you're gonna take as much as you can and voo. Reach me with the voo. Reach me.

Good, good, good.

Oh, press it more. Okay, two more times. Keep elongating that voo. Voo. Try to reach me with the boo. Keep going. Keep going. Try to reach me. Good.

Keep going. Keep going.

One more time.

Go low.

Not boo.

Boo. Okay.

Breathe. Come on.

This is the best. Okay. I do this all for you guys.

He's not coachable. No, no, no.

Not ooh. Voo.

Now you're breathing from the chest down to the shoulders.

Okay, pull it up.

Take as much breath as you can. Think of the longest voo. There you go. Keep going.

Reach me.

Project out.

Keep going.

Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Push.

Okay.

Hands on you. Can't, no, don't talk. Hands on you. Close your eyes. This is the rest and notice part. Okay. So this is what I tell all of my clients. This is the most important part is that we allow that, allow that work to integrate.

Okay.

So I want you to just take 30 seconds, breathe. And I want you to notice in your body what has changed, even a millimeter. Are you breathing deeper? Do you feel less of that microwavy energy? Did you drop down a little bit? Do you feel any tingling in your hands or your feet?

We'll be right back after a word from our sponsor. And now back to the show.

Can I speak?

No. Okay.

I'm just asking.

You have to be aware of your body right now, Alex. breathe, and just make some mental notes about what has changed. We're not looking for a football field of change. We're looking for just a small amount of relaxation that the body registered that the somatic work signaled safety in the body. And if the body changed, then safety has been restored on some level.

Okay.

You can open your eyes. Mm-hmm. Can you breathe?

I can.

Well, you're back.

Yeah, I feel better. No, no, the anxiety is gone. Yeah, that energy left pretty quickly.

You might feel a little bit teary in the eyes.

I felt lightheaded, but it might have been just because I was breathing out so much.

Yeah.

But I felt a little lightheaded.

Did you feel a drop?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel like we did when we started the conversation at the beginning of the interview. Like I feel much more. You can actually hear the tone of my voice change.

Deeper.

My cadence is different now. I'm deeper. I have a more Barry White voice situation. Like a song, rhythm-y. Yeah. But I feel a lot better. So now that we've gotten here.

So now what I would do with you is I would say if you're feeling like you have to take a step in your life, that's hard. Even if it's just like a little action and your body's triggering, you do this. And now I would tell you to take a micro step into it.

Before you even. before you finished the conversation in my head, I just went, okay, so let's open ourselves up to Steven Spielberg offering me something. And all of a sudden it just started to come up again. It's lighter though.

It's lighter. Not the intensity is what maybe was that an eight before? Is it at a three?

It's like a two or three now, but I felt it just go. And I was like, what is that? Wow. Wow. That's like, holy crap.

So that's when we, in your, This is like one, one little gym. Like you do a little bit, like you need to build your, you need to tone that nerve, tone that vagus nerve. That's what we're doing. Yeah.

That, that I still like it's. wobbly inside right now i'm i'm much more chilled yeah than i was when we first went down this road but i'm act i'm actively just listening to my body right now and i feel this kind of like it's not gas.

It's like it's like a little bubbly.

Yeah but it's like energetic bubbly it's not like physical bubbly it's energetic bubbly So it's kind of like, it's really interesting.

You're in your body now, you're grounded and you're talking almost like an arrhythmic song, like your rhythm, like it's very different.

It's not kinetic like it was before.

No, you were all the way getting ready to pop, yeah.

Yeah, I was like that. I can't even get to there like now. I'm like, I'm not there anymore. So I can't even pretend to be there.

So you just deactivate it. You didn't go and get a massage and then go into stress and deactivate the same energy that's in the body. You release a little bit of that old energy for good.

Wow.

For good.

Wow.

That's a rewire. So then the vagus nerve is the most spiritual portal to the other side. And that's in the body. That's science. And we're toning that nerve to your divine vessel, to your divine channel.

Right?

The vagus nerve is the channel.

I actually feel like tearing up.

Yeah, that's the sympathetic energy, the fight or flight energy coming out of the body.

I feel like I literally feel like I want to release. I'm not holding it back. It's just not coming out. But I feel the urge for it. And it's like I felt my lips start to quiver a little bit. Wow.

That means your body needs this work. It's handling it very well. It's already starting to respond to it. Cause it knows it needs, there's so much pressure that's building up and chronic pain, all that stuff is a body saying we need to move this. Let it, cause the, I mean in the Instapot can hold only so much pressure before, like if you don't have that release valve.

So what we're doing is we're taking the release valve on the top of the Instapot and we're opening it up a little bit at a time.

I have to ask you though. Okay. Cause right now I feel a whole bunch of stuff going on in my body.

What do you feel? Talk about it.

So the energy, um, It feels like I'm changing the water in a fish tank. Yeah.

Clearing up.

It's like when you, when you pour out, when you, when you take out water from a fish tank and you leave a little bit of it in, it looks clear. Right. Until you pour the new water in and then all the crap comes up. That's what I'm feeling. I feel all the crap coming up.

Let me test your intuition real quick.

Okay.

So I'm going to do a little test.

Sure. Okay.

When you try that on, does it make you feel excited?

Try one on the idea.

Just the dream, the big dream. When you try it on, is there excitement? There could be fear, but is there a little excitement in the body about the possibility of having?

Yeah, of course.

Do you feel the excitement?

Yeah.

Before you felt the fear?

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

And you couldn't feel the excitement?

So yeah, I feel the excitement now more than I feel about the fear. Right. When we first had the conversation, the fear was the first thing that popped in. And it wasn't even, it was fear disguised as protection.

Well, your protectors are real.

No, no, but it was my protecting. I came up because I was afraid, but it wasn't like, oh, I'm afraid of doing that. No, no, no. I just started creating.

So just imagine that most people live like this 90% of the time in fear and protection. What you just accessed, the excitement, is the second intuition, which is the felt sense in the body of the truth. So you just felt the excitement underneath the fear and protection. Most people can't get to that because they're so dysregulated. The excitement means that it's right. The excitement means that.

No, I saw myself on set with Steven.

Right.

And how does that make you feel? Oh, I felt, I mean, I'm like, I'm getting, I'm like, wow, I'm now, all sorts of other energies coming up now. I feel very excited about it, about the potential of just being there. I visually put myself there next to him working on a project. And I don't know what that, I have no idea what any of it is.

Okay, do you see yourself expanding? Yeah. You just expanded, right? Because you're internally had a little expansion. Mm-hmm. And now you're able to visualize it without triggering, right? That's the first step. Now, I want to test your external intuition.

Okay.

Because these things come back on when we start opening and dropping. Most people think we need to keep going up and up and up. There's more disconnection.

Mm-hmm.

What's the first thing that comes? Do you see anything about me?

No.

First thing that comes up.

Say that one more time.

Psychically. Oh. Can you see anything? Is anything coming through about me? No.

Like about you?

Just anything that comes to mind. A vision, a word, a feeling, a thought, a picture. I want to take you down into your intuition a little bit. Let's talk about the book. Anything about the book. I'll just ask you like you're a psychic.

Okay.

Anything about the book I was talking about.

I mean, I know this for, there's fear behind it. There's fear about how you're going to release it, that I know. Because we had a conversation about that yesterday, so that's not any intuition. But I can sense, we actually did this yesterday, talking about your book. I was calling you on stuff that you were like, and I was calling out.

Do you get any other things that don't make sense that comes? First thing, what comes?

I mean, the only thing I see is I see you signing books. I saw that came right away.

Well, how did it come?

It just came in. Like, I see you signing books. I see you with a pile of books and I see you signing them.

Is it in a mall?

Is it outside? No, it's like in a bookstore. Okay.

And what am I wearing?

It's like a reddish purple thing.

Right. So I'm tapping into what you're seeing.

Okay. because you are excited.

No, I could, but you're, okay. So there's a clairvoyance right there coming online. And what's the feeling you're getting from that vision? What's the feeling? Is there excitement?

Joyful, joyful excitement.

Yeah.

I see it for you.

Are you looking at it from like an outside perspective or are you there?

No, I'm looking at it from above. Like, um, the, it's an angle. I can only speak about it in angles. So it's a high, high upper left hanging. Like If this is a table, it'd be like up there looking down at you. Yeah. I could be standing, but it could, it's a little higher.

What color is the cover?

Blue. Bluish color.

Okay.

That's what I, I mean, that's the first thing that pops in my head.

Have you ever experienced a clairvoyant vision like that before? Okay. So now we're knowing you're in your body because you're starting to access that vision.

Okay. Okay.

You're starting to access the second intuition too, which is the felt sense. We've known up to this point in, so I'm liking that you're starting to even go deeper with it because sometimes we go into the vision, but we're not going into the feeling of why that message is coming through. So if I take you deeper into that vision, I would ask, why is that message coming?

What is it? Is it that I need to, why is it?

You need to hear it. Why? Because you're scared. Why? Why are you scared? Oh, that's a deep question that I don't know if we want to talk about it in this conversation. We'll talk about it later. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Because it's not a fear of writing the book.

No, no, no. That's not a question. No, no, no. It's the fear of a lot of other things around the release of the book and that you're digging and it digs into your own trauma when you were a child.

Yeah.

We all go through all that stuff. So like for me, the fear of the Steven job was because of all the stuff I went through. And not being able to hold the space for it. So it's very interesting. I got to meet a hero of mine. I'm going to get teared up. I got to meet a hero of mine the other day. And he lives here in Austin.

And he is probably the main reason I became a director. And his name is Robert Rodriguez.

Robert?

Robert Rodriguez.

Remember our first....

Did you say Robert? You did say Robert, didn't you? Yes.

And you didn't know who it was.

Cause I didn't have a, yeah, but Robert Ruggieri.

The first time I came, that's the name that kept coming the whole show.

Well, Robert was, um, uh, you know, he's, he's, I mean, I've been a fan of his forever and he was an idol of mine and he got me to get started. And I always knew for whatever reason, I knew that one day I would, there would be something that would happen that I would meet. And, um, The other day I was at an event in Troublemaker Studios and a dear friend of mine, Hank, would you like to meet Robert?

And I said, sure. And then I got to, and I was alone because my kids were, they had to do something else. So I was there and I got a picture with him and we hung out and talked for like 20 minutes about parenting. I get to talk to my filmmaking idol and I'm talking about kids. Yes. and stuff, but it was such a beautiful experience. And he's such a gentleman, just beautiful soul. And he was so nice and kind. I mean, if there was a Mount Rushmore for me personally, he's on it for me as a filmmaker. But after it, I was like, huh, I finally got to a place where I could do this.

that I could open myself up to even imagine this idea of meeting this man. Well. And now, you know.

But you just took, so you just expanded right here, right now. Mm-hmm. past a capacity point. You were at a window, your body's been telling you you've been at a window because of some pain that's been going on in the body. Your body's like, we need to move. We need to move this energy. And so right now, you're calm as a baby right now. And you're in your emotions, you feel you're embodying this moment. And you're savoring this moment. It's not like, okay, what are we going to, how many more minutes till we're done? Like you're not thinking of that. You're in, you're savoring this present moment. And that's the big win. And what we did, you activated your intuition. At the same time, you dropped

in the body. We expanded past the trigger. And now this dream doesn't feel, it's not an eight, it's a two. It's like just bubbling at two. Now you're at an expansion point. So you're ready to take the next step.

I'm very, like right now, mellow. Like I just, I'm like high. Exactly. I'm a slight bit high. Yeah. Even though I've never taken drugs.

That's how connection feels in the vagus nerve.

Well, I felt this in other meditations sometimes when things open up and certain spiritual places I've been to that I felt like, I feel high right now. And I'm very chilled and very mellow and relaxed, which is the complete opposite. I mean, people could literally see it transform real time. When I went from the idea of Steven Spielberg to now, I'm like, yeah, sure. Yeah, I'm completely like, sure.

I mean, I don't know if I'll do it. I don't know what the situation is. I don't know what the circumstances are, but I'm open.

Your body just accepted it.

But I'm completely open to it.

Your body just accepted it. So when the body accepts it, it's not rejecting it anymore.

We'll be right back after a word from our sponsor. And now back to the show.

So how can you magnetize something you're rejecting? How can you bring it in?

Wow. Yeah. Throughout everybody's life.

Now there's no block to it. You can imagine it, hold it, embody it, feel it. You feel the excitement. Your body is connected to it. You're embodying the moment. Just in the imagination, it's such a huge shift. We're not even taking the steps yet, but you have to take the step in body first. You're at a different level now. So this is what it feels like. Most people cycle through fight or flight and shutdown, which are two states in the nervous system on the ladder. Shutdown's lower, fight or flight's higher. Ventral is what a lot of people go to Hollywood for. They think They're seeking that sense of what you're feeling now in the fame and the fortune and the money. That's what people think because

they're getting a slight hit of dopamine. What they're looking for is the ventral space in the nervous system. This is science. And then that opens up the portal to the other side, to the intuition. Those two things need to align in the crown area. So you just opened up, you just cleaned off that window. It was a little dirty.

You just cleaned it off. And so now it's like you're in the body. You're actually in your body for the first time in a long time. You're in your body. It's like, hey, I'm on Earth high. And you feel like, oh, everything feels just fine. It's like getting in that pool and it's like.

Warm and nice.

It's like just nice.

Perfect temperature, yeah.

And imagine living like this your whole life. That's the goal. Wow. You're in what's called the ventral state in your nervous system where the story you're telling yourself, is completely different than what you're telling yourself three minutes ago. Because your nervous system state comes first, and then the story your thoughts tell you comes second, not the other way around.

Wow.

Wow.

Well.

So now you'll probably take a nap.

Yeah, I feel like taking a nap now, but we have more work to do. But no, well, I appreciate that. And that's a really great, yeah, I'm a little high, so everyone has to bear with me. That's a great, lead a lead way into um to what we've done i can't.

Speak do you want me to promote.

For you i am out of it man what did you do to me oh what did i do to myself i mean.

Jesus you allowed it you're ready.

Wow that was.

People are probably gonna be watching this like being like oh my god look at him trying to promote.

I can't talk i can't like So like what we've been doing.

So Next Level Soul Mastery is a collection. No, no, no.

So at this point, everyone, by the time this airs, everyone should know that Next Level Soul Mastery is out. Yeah. Give me a second. We'll get to this. I swear, Marissa. All right.

So we did a master class yesterday.

Okay. So we did film. All right. So we filmed this course. And this actually is, you know, I understand the course at a much different level than I did.

It takes you through this process almost. Right.

It takes you through this process, but going through it is a completely different experience. But I see you use some of the techniques that we talked about yesterday in the course, but this is, I mean, I could just tell you, I mean, I can't barely speak. So please, I'm sorry, everyone, please bear with me. I'm doing the best I can. The course is called The Stress Detox.

And it is about, you tell everybody what it's about.

I can't talk anymore.

I need a drink. I'm like, it is getting worse.

What's happening?

It's like I'm getting.

Your body's saying thank you. So you know all that tension that we hold in that always protective state? The body just holds it because it doesn't feel safe to relax. And then the people that are traumatized, you start to relax. The body's like, no, no, no, you can't relax. That's vulnerable. You can't do that. So it keeps us in a state of hypervigilance. So your body just relaxed for the first time in 40 years.

50.

Like really relaxed, like internally, not just like, oh, I feel relaxed because I'm watching a TV show.

Or I've meditated.

The first time your body said, I feel safe enough to let go for a little bit. Like your internal organs, your vagus nerve. Your vagus nerve is what we toned, what we reset in that exercise. Then the spiritual alignment work comes after that. It can't come before it. We can't do spiritual alignment work because people can't step into it.

I can't give you a psychic reading and say, you're meant to do this. You won't be able to step into it. Your body would trigger. That's why the psychic readings are kind of like at this stage of the game with where the world is. I got to get you past that point to step through the doorway. Right. And continue to hold it. And then you'd be like, oh, well, I stepped through the doorway. Yeah, let's consistently hold it now.

Let's hold that vibration so it doesn't drop. You just got to taste. This is like if you look at a glacier, this is the tip.

The tippy top, yeah, of the glacier. It's the tip.

Imagine if you feel like that with just a little bit like the 1%. of the work. It's like, you feel like that now, how you could feel every day. You can feel like this every day of your life. Yeah.

It changes everything. Like, um, so the course, talk about the course.

Stress detox is the course actually had a different name and, You channeled psychically with the name.

Okay, okay. A name popped into my head. Now I'm defending myself again because I can't open myself up to say these things out loud. You did.

You did. You're going to become the psychic. I'll be the interviewer.

Yes, I channeled. I channeled. When we were doing the course and we had another course name title for it. I swear I'm a professional. Oh, my God. I swear I'm a professional.

We have this course called Trust Detox, where I go through five days of practical insights that are very simple to use. And it helps you get above the energy, above the scattered thinking, above the mental noise, above all the dysregulation you're experiencing and how overwhelmed you might feel at the moment. And it's not just a course on like spiritual talk and In theory, it's very practical to where the things I'm going to ask you to do are very simple, but they go against your biggest bad habits probably.

But it also is necessary work in order to open up spiritually because a lot of people get caught in that kind of vortex. that you can't, that they wanna grow spiritually, but all this crap is holding them back. And there's only so much you can go. There's only so far you can go spiritually or frequency wise, stop laughing, frequency wise in your life until you get rid of all this.

Kind of stuff.

I'm glazed over. I can't see myself, so I have no idea. Anyway, so we're doing the course in middle, like I think after lesson two or three, I turned to you, I go, I have the damn of the course. I just go, it just popped in my head, I'm sorry. And it's called, I think the stress detox. And you're like, that's a perfect name. I'm like, yeah, I, I, it just came like literally while you were doing this and I'm like, great. That's, I'm like, yeah, that's going to be a much better name, but it came in that way. Um, well it is as of this recording, it is available now on next level soul TV. Uh, it's available now next level soul TV. Um, if you, if you remember, if you're an annual member and if you're, if you

want to buy it, uh, we'll have a link for it as well. And if you want to taste a little bit of taste of the course, just watch the show. But if not, we actually put together a free masterclass that takes you through different little tastes of what we've been doing. And the masterclass itself could be a breakthrough.

I mean, this conversation is obviously a breakthrough. And that was just such a small thing. This wasn't like a deep conversation. thousand things. It was a few little things that took you down, but I guess my body was ready for it. Yeah.

Your body like obviously trusted me enough to allow it. Uh, so you have to trust like the information and you're doing this publicly. So like there wasn't much fear of like allowing yourself to be open to your audience, which I find very admirable that you would do that here and show them like, like, cause that's what you're, what you're showing is the true you and it's vulnerable.

Yeah, I have no problem with that stuff. I don't know why. That stuff, I've always been, I'm very authentic. I'm who I am. This is me.

But your body hasn't been open.

No, my body's probably been protecting itself.

So you could still be friendly and open in your speech and appearing happy, but your body's still holding tension. And so right now, what your audience is watching is your body has released and it's in alignment with You've jumped into the body.

So before we go, because we could keep talking for hours. Yeah, we can. When I was writing my first book, Shooting for the Mob, I went through, there was all of the stuff that, so much stuff came up. Yeah. It took me a while to write it. And I would skip chapters because I knew where I had to go emotionally to write it. And I would be crying while I wrote it. And I had no idea I was holding on to all of that. and it released and released.

And then when I went to do the audio book, I had to stop. I wrote another book, did the audio book for that one, and then came back and finished the audio book for this one, because it was so difficult for me to go back, even read it, even deal with it, because I hadn't, and that was a version of this, I would imagine, like I'm just, I guess that was more releasing than anything else, right?

But I guess I hadn't opened the ability to even.

Yeah, I mean, you could have emotional moments And you can have moments where you release that stuff, sure. But a lot of this stuff is in the muscles. It's in the joints. It's in the organs. It's in the fascia. It's in stuff that your body's just holding because it doesn't feel safe yet. You could tell it, I'm safe.

This is ridiculous that I'm having all this anxiety.

And is it get worse as you get older? Because when you're younger, your body can handle a lot of, you can handle a lot more stress.

Well, think of the Instapot and think of different layers of pressure, right? So it's like decade one, this amount of pressure.

And also the pot's younger. So the pot can actually handle things a little bit differently.

Yeah, it gets a little shaky.

It gets a little shakier as you get older, yeah.

It's like not knowing you have the release valve on there to let some pressure out.

Wow. If you want to get the mastery course, just go to Next Level Soul Mastery or nlsmastery.com. I'm really struggling here. I'm just like, I'm doing the best I can. So you go to nlsmastery.com. The situation.

I know, the presentation.

This is, I've never, I've done, 2,000 interviews. I've never had this happen to me before.

And Robert came up from the first one.

So Robert came up from the first one. So Stephen's coming. Somehow Stephen's coming.

I guess maybe I'm predicting the people you're going to meet. I think maybe that's what it is. Hold this as long as you can because it's like this is the win. These are the wins today. They're the most important in my life. is when I'm able to savor moments and be fully present and have time slow down and actually be like, I am at one in this moment. Like I'm not in the past. I'm not in the future.

Like I'm here and I'm connected. And the wins for me today are when I have those moments in life. Like those are the wins. The more of them I could have, that's what I live for today are these moments. With you, having this moment is real. It's present. It's connected. I'm not feeling like, oh, we're in the studio and we're interviewing and I'm separate from that. And I feel like we're in it. We're in an energy right now.

We're in the bubble. And we are connected. You're connected to yourself. I'm connected to myself. And now the universe is limitless.

And with that, I appreciate you being here and everything you're doing to awaken the planet. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you for spending this sacred time with us today.
