From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.
Ryan Seacrest.
Seacrest.
On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest.
Halloween is tomorrow.
How excited are we?
Everybody's so excited. You know, I was talking to Carrie Underwood, actually.
Wow.
And we were talking about Halloween. And, you know, big deal. They have Halloween where she lives. And kids get so excited. And they all dress up and get in a tractor or something.
And I said, yeah. She goes, are you excited? And I said, yeah. Well, not so much. Really?
Why?
Well, because, you know, when I go with my niece, it's exciting. And, you know, I look forward to it and it's all fun through her eyes. And I get it because you have kids and I get it for you guys who have kids.
Anybody listening has kids. I get it.
Halloween's exciting. For me, it's just like getting through the door to the real holidays. Let's just get through Halloween so we can start legit celebrating the ramp to Christmas, the holidays, Thanksgiving. That, to me, is when you're solo.
Ronnie, Halloween. You don't have kids? Yeah, I don't.
You're rolling in your 5.0 solo. Do you look at it the same way or do you amp up for Halloween?
No, I love Halloween because I love getting dressed up and I also love trick-or-treating.
Tubbs, let me ask you because he loves to dress up.
I forgot.
You don't seem like a dress-up guy based on what you're wearing now and for the last 12 years.
You can borrow my mic. Do you amp up for Halloween?
Do you guys the gateway to the real holidays? No, I'm the type to leave the front porch light off. Tom! Actually, that doesn't surprise me. He can't be bothered.
The grumpy man on the corner.
He's become the grumpy old guy on the corner with the green shutter. Only one green shutter. The other one fell off. The porch light's dark. Do you even get amped up for the other holidays? How bah humbug are you? I gotta say, Gabby, my wife, goes all out for all the holidays. I'm the one just laying back, letting her do it. What a treat to be married to you. Oh, Gabby, we now understand.
Now Tubbs fans the grill.
Yeah.
Well, let's see.
We've got some clouds, cool highs around 70, showers tomorrow and Sunday.
That's what they're calling for for your trick-or-treating.
Falling back this weekend also just keep it on your radar let me pay bill next it's kiss all right a grande pedal 102.7 it's kiss fm all right so what are we looking at jingle ball sold out we got your tickets coming up sienna spyro going to be there on that stage one republic olivia rodrigo we will be there too it's always just like it's so we're gonna get through halloween i say get through i mean we're gonna celebrate halloween get through celebrate blah then Thanksgiving.
There's something special about Thanksgiving because it's a non-religious holiday. This is a day that everyone, in theory, is off and could observe together if they wanted to. And a time to connect with a human being or two or some friends. The Thanksgiving thing is, for me, equally as exciting as the family Thanksgiving. We try and run both.
We try and run a Friendsgiving and a Fam-giving Thanksgiving. All right, now that being said, Tanya has decided to do something on the eve of this holiday that I think is a disaster crisis waiting to happen. Sissy, feel free to weigh in on this because I don't want to be the only one casting judgment on this show, although I feel like that's why we're here, but go ahead.
No, so, okay, so I've been doing The Artist's Way, which is a 12-week workbook, okay?
We know this.
Yes.
It's been 12 years that you've been doing this 12 week workbook.
I've been doing it. No, no, no.
I've been doing it like every week. I've been really good every day. So I'm at a stall because I cannot, I'm on week four, but I cannot start it because it's a social media detox.
And I feel like I can't.
For those who are here every day and are still not following along.
Why? What's the artist's way?
It's supposed to unleash the artist in you. So basically, if you have any stagnant energy, it's supposed to unleash this creative side of you.
And it works.
The testimonials are incredible.
Yours was great. That testimonial right there. And the other part of it is one of the segments is to detox on social media.
Yes.
You're at that impasse now. And what's the question?
And I'm stalled.
I can't do it because it's like Halloween weekend.
How am I going to be off social media when I'm like not see everybody's costume?
So start it Monday. But now I'm a whole week behind.
There's no rigidness to this thing. It is an extracurricular activity. And frankly, the way of your art is great. You don't need to tap more into the art of your way. We're very happy with the art.
I don't ever want to do this social media detox.
I feel like I'm going to keep pushing it.
You exude art. And all I want is for everyone to agree that we can do as a group of social media detox. It sounds brilliant.
Ronnie, could you do? Ronnie is in charge.
His job is to post stuff all the time in the digital department. Could you do a social media detox?
Would you want to? Well, I would want to, but I can't because obviously I do have to post everything all the time. So I want to, but yeah, that's not the reality. And I love being on social media, so it's fine. Like I don't need to detox anything. You know, if I don't want to see it, I'm just going to scroll past it. Tiffany, could you?
Oh yeah, I totally could.
I feel like I naturally do sometimes. I'm like, oh, I haven't looked at Instagram in like three days.
Yeah. Bella, our intern.
Now on the college campus at USC- Is there ever a conversation about detoxing social media or is it too early stage life?
I feel like there are some talks, but everyone uses social media as a form of contact.
People text me on Snapchat.
I'm like, just use my phone number.
This is how you keep in touch with people.
Yeah.
I'm happy.
Anybody, Tanya, give me the workbook for the weekend. I'll do it for you.
I'll be you. I'll play the role. I'll detox for you.
Phone a friend.
Not only that, I'll put an out-of-office email up, and I won't respond to texts.
You got it. I'm here for you.
Now, it is Halloween. This is timely. Jordan in the back room saw a bat. Now, bats are not just here for Halloween. They're not just an attraction this time of year. Where did you see this said bat, Jordan?
It was actually out on the balcony at the iHeart station.
Here? Yeah.
Have we ever seen bats here around the iHeart headquarters?
What is happening? There's all these critters now here.
Yeah.
It was spooky.
It was like right on the fifth floor, outside, right near the umbrella where everybody eats lunch.
But I want to talk about this.
Was it hanging? It was flying.
I want to bring this up on the show. Especially before Halloween. Why are we so afraid of a bat? Now think about this. A bat is a nocturnal bird.
This is a bird.
This bat serves a purpose in the animal kingdom. The bat is not out to suck your blood like they make you think in the movies.
Wait, it's not?
There's only two or three. I think the blood suckers are not here.
You don't know that.
I watch TV and documentaries. I know a lot about penguins.
Do you watch bat documentaries?
I watch a lot of Nat Geo documentaries. So I can tell you about migrations and penguins when we get there. If you see a penguin, Jordan, tell me, because I know about those. But what is it you're afraid of? Like, seriously, what are we scared of with bats?
Well, so I heard that if like a bat bites you or something, you have to get a vaccination and everything. I didn't really know it was that serious, but one of our other coworkers came encounter with a bat and she had to get two vaccines. So I don't know what's so wrong with them.
Well, people think that bats carry rabies.
Some can, I guess. They can.
They're like rodents with wings.
Okay, but most bats are healthy. Most bats are not out to suck your blood. And most bats are out to eat insects, like pest control. And you know what eats the bats? Owls.
So if you don't have the.
Bats, how are you going to get rid of the owls? Well, you know what eats the owls? That's very weird. The bigger bird eats the owl. So you have to think of these animals that we're afraid of. And this is all from Nat Geo.
Thank you.
Actually, you're right.
I said, do bats suck your blood in Los Angeles? No, bats in Los Angeles do not suck your blood.
According to Los Angeles Times.
No, they like matcha.
100% they do.
They prefer oat milk versus blood and matcha.
Yeah, valid.
Don't be afraid of the bat. She's going to take care of the best, Jordan. And you're going to be fine. If you're having some Halloween candy before putting on a tight Halloween costume, well, there are three worst candies for bloating I just read about next. A quote today for you, and this being the day before Halloween, our last broadcast in the morning before our Halloween day, I want to give you something that I read about. If you want to squeeze into a costume, these three candies might add to bloat the most. And those are sugar-free candy. Sugar-free candy can add to your bloat.
I didn't think about that at all.
Yes, sugar.
Why?
I had experience with sugar-free gum. I used to chew it like it was nobody's business and it makes you very gassy.
Well, like the peppermint patties or the Jolly Ranchers, those sugar-free candies can make you bloaty. Next, processed candy, Twizzlers, candy corns, things like that can... Now, All of this stuff is probably going to cause something. But these are the ones they say are the top bloaters. And finally, the top bloater. chocolate and caramel. No. Milky Way and Twixie.
I love a Twix.
I'm just telling you what they say. Think about that.
Bloat Central.
Although it's Halloween.
Halloween candy. Who cares at this point? Today's quote.
Life gets better when you let people lose you instead of begging them.
To choose you.
Oh, I love that.
You can't campaign for yourself. If they're not into you, you've got to let it go.
It's their loss.
Yeah.
It's Kiss FM. Good morning.
Joe Larson on a kiss after seven o'clock Halloween weekend. What is the scariest movie of all time? Seriously, if you're going to watch one, What is the scariest one of all time? I'm curious to know what we think it is. I mean, Google the list or chat the list, but what in your mind is it?
First, Sisney has the headlines. Kiss FM headlines with Sisney.
Well, L.A.
Hasn't seen rain on Halloween since 2014, but that streak will end this weekend. Scattered showers are likely tomorrow. I will see today and tomorrow for Halloween. But they're saying it'll be like Halloween night into Sunday morning. Restoration efforts are underway for Griffith Park's historic merry-go-round, which will hopefully reopen.
In time for the Olympics.
L.A.
City Council member is seeking a moratorium on new karaoke rooms in Koreatown after residents complained about late-night noise, traffic, and other issues. And the fourth annual Dia de los Muertos block party festival is on Sunday in West Adams featuring music, art, food, and culture traditions from noon to 8 p.m.
Bruno Mars on Kiss FM. All right.
Halloween weekend. It is Halloween Eve.
Scary movies.
They aren't for me. I'm not one for a very scary movie. However, oh, put it on my weekend watch list. Have you seen this show on HBO Max called War with Sienna Miller?
No, is it good?
And the guy from The Crown?
I'm looking for something.
It's kind of like Ryan's Roses.
Really? Everybody's telling me to watch it.
Yes.
Okay.
It's a little bit of a spinoff of Ryan's Roses in a way. She sets him up. With her friend to go hook up with her husband to catch him.
And it's a movie?
It's a series.
A series. Okay.
That's a scary series.
It is scary.
I mean, right?
I'm saying like thriller. I guess what I'm saying is categories of thriller are my scary. I'm not a scary movie guy. And I feel like on a first date, I should probably put that down on my list of things to tell her.
Yeah.
My husband's not a scary movie guy either.
You know what? I'm going to make a list.
I love scary movies, like Insidious and all those.
Me too. I love being scared. It's such a thrill to me.
I wonder about you both. What's missing? No, I just wonder what's missing.
In your life.
Conjuring.
All the Conjuring movies?
Oh my gosh. If I could psychoanalyze for a second, to generalize between the two of you, if you like and enjoy and smile big as you are running about... Horror movies. What's missing in life? Something's missing.
No, it's not. Nothing's missing.
I think so. I think it's filling a void. Yeah. Something may be missing, but I couldn't tell you what it is. Okay.
So Ronnie, what's the scariest movie you've ever seen?
For me, it's this movie called Sinister. I don't know if you guys have seen this movie. I don't think I have. Years later, it sits with me. And that's like one of the only movies that I cannot, you know, normally I could watch a scary movie and just fall right asleep. It's nothing.
That's another thing that I want to talk about when I psychoanalyze you later.
Now, after a scary movie like that, I.
Have to watch an episode of Friends or something that's going to cleanse your palate.
Yes, exactly.
Okay, what's the scariest movie that you.
Like, Cicely?
Well, I like to discover new movies now, but when I think back to my childhood... The scary movies that scared me back then when I was a kid was Nightmare on Elm Street, The Chuckies. All of those movies are just the classic scary movies for me.
I just have no interest in seeing. Even the trailers get me.
Freddy Krueger actually gave me nightmares. I would get nightmares and run into my parents.
But as a parent of yours, why let you see that?
They didn't let me. It was my older brother and sister. My parents didn't know what we were doing.
I got a horror movie for you.
Turn on the news okay i mean you need more what else you want like the news is horrifying enough i don't need to go watch another and i am making a list of things to tell her tanya when i first meet her on a first date and that.
Is yeah first meet her first day okay you're sharing your location with someone don't think that i don't have that stored in my brain.
I'm ryan.
Nice to meet you i'm ryan I don't like scary movies, and I'm not great in a toolbox. Should I stop at two or keep going? You have to add a positive in there.
Yeah.
Oh, well, what would you put at the top of my positive list?
You love cooking. Yeah, but I could cook a mean insert whatever there.
Scampi.
Yeah.
I feel like scampi is always a go-to.
I don't know scampi.
Yeah, it's cheap. What do you think is something cuter to say?
Do you think shrimp scampi is cute for a date meal?
I don't like that.
Why?
How romantic is shrimp scampi on linguine?
It's fine.
It's not fine. It's actually charming.
Listen, you can do it better. I believe in you.
I got to peel and devein a shrimp. Yeah, I think you can do better.
We don't know if you did it yourself.
Well, I'm going to do it in front of you then. All right, here's me not good on pliers. Look at me devein this shrimp.
It's gross.
Dealing with fish on a first date or second date or third date. I just don't love it.
Then your hands are fishy smelling.
Goodbye.
Goodbye. Next, we're going to pay a bill.
I told you I'm going to get one of those big, thick, tired bikes for the sand to crank out some sand riding.
One of the new trends in my head.
And then Sisney's like, oh, have you heard about what couples are doing? Now, pole dancing I've known for a long time for a workout.
Yeah.
But now they're doing couples pole dancing where he and she or he and he or.
She and she.
Exactly.
Taking the pole dancing class together. For what reason in your mind?
It's to build trust. And I think that's the main part.
You build this like crazy trust because you have to be like holding each other, holding each other's weight, things like that. It's saying that's bringing people closer together, building the trust, communication and teamwork.
It's an intense workout.
Which are all things you need in a relationship. Would you do this though with your significant other?
Well, here's the way I look at it. I have an option for you. If you want to option out of this, I have an idea. But if you want a strict and quick test for your partner about abandonment.
This is it. Why?
Because if they don't hang in there and support you immediately on the pole, they are going to abandon you when times get tough. Quick test, harsh but true. Here's my alternative. I propose this as an option. If you're not a tandem couple pole dancer, what about a tandem bike? I think that's a much easier way to test somebody's skill.
That's cute, but that's not the same thing.
It is in my mind. There's trust. There's working together. There's teamwork. There's balance required. You tandem bicycle before you pole dance. I think it's very central tandem biking. There you are on the same plane.
How cool to have this party trick, though, as a couple. Like, oh, by the way, we have this choreographed routine.
Dim the lights. Dim the lights.
DJ Triple XL. And bring out that pole.
Where is it?
Did we bring the assemble pole? Can you put them.
Together or something?
I honestly think that pole dancing is like a sport.
It is very difficult.
We just went to a Halloween party this past weekend where they had pole dancers. And they actually brought in the poles. They weren't there in the venue. These were brought in temporary poles. And the women on these poles were just fantastic. I was so impressed with their strength and their arm strength.
And you see choreography done on them, too.
So now if you do this with your couple, experts are saying this builds connection.
You'll have a bigger bond with each other.
And even this one couple actually performed their pole dance routine at their wedding.
And everybody was blown away by it.
See, Tanya?
No, that's too far.
Look at the things we didn't get to do at yours.
I know.
I should have had some poles that come out.
Ronnie, before we break, I feel like you've done this. Pole dancing, I have.
And actually at the party that Sis and I were at over the weekend, I got on the pole. And yeah, I put on a little show. People were cheering for me. It was a fun time.
Are you trained?
No, I just kind of threw myself up there. But it does require a lot of strength and core strength. So thankfully, I've been doing all my yoga. But yeah, I just threw myself up there and started spinning around. What a generous party guy. How generous you are.
Good morning beat to beat back to back on a friday the day before halloween with the halloween mix and audrey has been hanging sherman oaks my neighbor scares trick-or-treaters yeah by jumping out of the bushes and is doing it again.
This year oh my gosh this is like my neighborhood you're right.
There pretty normal stuff right.
People are jumping out of your bushes too i'm.
In studio city right next to sherman oaks but you don't have bush jumpers do you i don't think so all right what's with this guy He's.
Older, and he just doesn't get it. You'd think that being older and jumping out of the bushes, that would hurt your knees, but I guess not. Anyways, it's he says it's all good and fun and then scaring people is what Halloween is all about but then I'm like I don't want my kids to miss out and then you know all their kids live in the neighborhood and I just don't think it's fair that we should have to go somewhere else because this one guy thinks it's funny to terrify little kids like what do I do do I just like avoid our neighborhood on Halloween or Do I find a way to get this guy to stop?
I genuinely don't know what to do. Put a rat trap in the bushes? I don't know what to do at this point in time.
I think you don't worry about this guy. He's not meaning harm.
He's playful, right?
Yeah, but, like, wouldn't it be sensible enough to know, like, maybe you shouldn't do that to, like, children that are still learning about the world? Like, jumping out of bushes? That's terrifying for anybody.
Yeah, but it is Halloween. Can't you just avoid his bush corner?
That's what I'm saying. Don't even go on his street.
Detour.
Detour.
Listen, I'm trying to be a crime stopper, not just my kids. It's a bunch of people. So you think I should just avoid that?
Here's what I'm saying, Audrey.
Life is too short to let this guy dictate your Halloween. He shouldn't throw you off what you want to do and the neighborhood wants to do for Halloween. I think he thinks he's having fun, and this is a playful, haunted Halloween idea. It may not be coming off that way, but I wouldn't worry so much about it and just re-navigate.
Okay.
Thanks, Audrey. Lighten up. It's Halloween.
I get it. And avoid it.
People are going to do things like that. I mean, if the kids are scared, take your kids just around the corner.
Mm-hmm.
I don't know that it's that big of a deal. More importantly, wasn't it you, Jeff Tubbs, our engineer? You sound scarier than the old man in the bushes turning off your front porch light and being so rude about trick-or-treaters who might get close to your house asking for candy. To me, that's more frightening. That's just not, that's more of an issue in the neighborhood. The guy at least is participating.
Our guy here, our.
Engineer, is shutting down his front door and his driveway as if he's protesting the whole holiday.
Yeah, I couldn't imagine doing that.
And the jujitsu noises he and his wife make from the garage when they're in their dojo.
Scarier. This is Kiss FM.
On air. On air with Ryan Seacrest. Olivia Rodrigo's stupid song.
It's Kiss. She will be doing that. And her jingle ball. It's coming up December 4th. It is sold out.
We'll give you tickets in a few minutes.
Shall we play a little game called Do You Know Us Who? For Calvin Harris tickets. Jackie in Moreno Valley. Good morning.
Good morning.
Happy Halloween. Scale of 1 to 10. How excited or not.
Are you for Halloween? I'm about a 10 now. So you're into it.
All right.
We have your Calvin Harris Halloween tickets to win right now. But we have to play this game called How Well Do You Know Us? Okay, here's how it works. We're going to ask you a simple Halloween yes or no question about one of us. You say yes or you say no. Okay?
Okay.
Okay.
You have to get three right before you get three wrong.
First one.
Got it.
Have I, Ryan, ever worn a couple's costume in real life with a romantic partner not on TV? Thank you for the clarification.
I'm going to go with yes.
This is true.
She speaks fact. What were we, Bonnie and Clyde? Yeah, Bonnie and Clyde.
So cute.
Okay.
Okay. Next one. Well done. How well do you know us, Jackie?
Has Sisini ever toilet papered, TP'd, a house as an adult any time of year?
I'm going to say yes again.
Absolutely. You do know.
No, not as an adult.
I added that.
Okay.
Well, then, yes, I have in the past.
It adds to your edge. Okay.
Now, you got two right. All you got to do is get this wrong. How well do you know us, Jackie? Has Tanya ever thought it was a costume party and been the only person to show up in costume? Oh, my.
Goodness.
I'm going to go with no.
I don't know the answer.
That's correct.
All right.
So you got to get this one.
She won everything. She already won, Ryan. Wait, so the answer was no?
No, Tanya, you confused us.
You confused us. No, she was right.
When she said no, that was right.
Right.
So, oh, so that's it.
You're right.
You caught it.
She won.
Oh, yeah.
When you said no, I thought no, but yes, no means yes.
No, I know.
Us well enough. I live with us.
I don't need to know us more. Jackie, you're going to see Calvin Harris.
Oh my gosh. So much fun.
Congratulations.
Thank you so much. That was fun. I guess I do know you guys. You do.
Well, thank you for listening, Jackie. Hold on one second. Enjoy the show. It's going to be sick. All right.
Thank you so much.
We pay a bill next on kids. Tanya has a trending report. Now, the thing to think about is, is it ever a good idea to date someone who does the exact same job as you? I think sometimes I, yes, I think because you can really understand and relate to things that maybe other people can't understand and relate to.
Also, if you've been.
Through it, like when you've been through it at your day on your job, And then you get home and your SO, significant other, doesn't get it that you've been through it.
Then, like, it's, yeah, they don't get it that.
You had a day. This way, if they do the same thing you do, you've both had a day. And I think that makes it easier in the long run.
Why in the world? Why now, Tanya? Why now?
Because Adela, the pop star behind A.N.L.A. and Nicole Kidman, she made her late night debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. And after the show, she was spotted holding hands with her boyfriend, Jackson Shanks. So he is a music producer. He signed a publishing deal with Universal Music in 2023. He co-wrote and co-produced Don't Want to Cry off Selena and Benny's album, I Said I Love You First. And he even played the guitar and keys on it. He's also worked with the K-pop group Le Seraphim.
And Adele said that they met through a producer friend and they just hit their one-year anniversary. So I feel like if you're dating somebody that's in the same field, do you ever get to turn your work off when you're dating somebody?
Yeah.
I feel like maybe you're saying it's good because you guys can relate. But also, if you guys have these crazy schedules where you're in late night sessions and traveling and doing all the things, do you get to spend time together?
I'm going to back this up further. This is not a box I'm worried about. I just want to find the person. I don't care what job they have. If it's my job, their job, our job, whatever job is not going to impact it. I just want us to have compatibility in the wild. That's true.
Not in the wild. Who cares? Do what I do, don't do what I do.
But if you dated somebody that had your job, you would both be so busy and you'd never get to spend time together.
Maybe that's the beauty.
Yeah.
Maybe that's the beauty. I've been looking for someone totally unavailable all my life.
Right?
Wouldn't that be great?
Hey, you're amazing. Because you're unavailable.
Yeah, I see you once every three months.
Actually, I see you all the time. 7.30, 8.30, 9.30, 10.30.
On my screen.
Right.
Maybe that's it. No, I think that it doesn't matter. I don't care.
Person. Compatibility. Tanya.
Okay.
Preach.
You say it.
Preach.
Preach it, brother. It's difficult today, isn't it? Coming up next, tickets to our sold-out Jingle Ball.
All right. Halloween is here. Tomorrow's the day. Today's the eve. Friday. Kind of exciting.
More exciting maybe even for today leading up to it despite the forecast of some rain. That may be coming for trick-or-treating. But our staff here, just to put the spotlight on everyone for a second, is telling me about their multiple Halloween costumes. When did we start having to have more than one?
I get it.
It's enough of a task and a chore to come up with the one, which we talk to people all over Southern California about for weeks leading up, trying to come up with a costume for their kids, for themselves, if they're going to a party or a trick-or-treating on the street.
But now.
You guys have multiple Halloween costumes. For what reason? I'm trying to figure out.
Sisany?
Um, well, cause once you already wear it and you post it, like why did dumb and dumber?
It's about posting. It's about Instagram.
So like I already posted it. And so now I'm like, do I post it again? Like you kind of want to do something different.
Multiple nights and multiple weekends. Cause there was parties last weekend and this weekend.
You guys have much more of a social calendar than any of us listening.
Normal.
No, it's not normal to have to feel like you've got to change your Halloween costume.
Ruby, do you have several Halloween costumes? Yes.
I mean, different parties, you definitely need different looks for each party.
Right?
Yes.
Why?
Can you just tell me the philosophy?
Why? Who cares?
Because there's themes. Like last weekend's party.
The theme is costume.
No, it was themed 90s costumes. So we were Dumb and Dumber because that movie was from the 90s. And now maybe we want to do something different for tomorrow night.
Ronnie, let me talk to you for a second in the back room, head of our digital department. You're going as a naked man?
Well, yeah, pretty much all of my costumes involve very minimal clothing, but I'm going as a naked Sim character. So Sims is a video game, and I'm going to be a naked Sim character. I'm not just going to be like Button. naked.
Yeah.
So what is the costume of a naked Sims character? Is it a body suit? Well, basically body paint.
No. So I'm going to be like naked. Like my top is going to be out and my legs, but I'm going to put a blurred box over everything else. So like a pair of pants?
How are you going to be able to sit?
Speedos? Well, yeah, that's the problem. I'm not going to be able to sit. It's like the pixelated. Yes, it's a pixelated box. What's the box made of? I'm going to do a cardboard box.
Nice.
Okay. So Ronnie legit is the only one that should be changing costumes.
Is it?
That's crazy.
Is it like that Justin Timberlake song from back in the day from the SNL skit, Something in a Box? Can't say it.
Like that?
Well, I mean, it's not kind of, Ronnie. It is. Unless there's something. But I'm going to glue the box to my underwear. That's how it's going to work.
Wow. I've never wanted it to be Thanksgiving faster than this moment. I will give thanks for making it through Halloween.
I have a more PG costume, which is going to be Adam from the Garden of Eden. So I'm going to be a little more dressed, but it's going to be leaves covering everything. Oh, good.
We get some fall foliage over here. Pixelation. Anyway, happy Halloween Eve. It's Kiss FM.
On air. On air with Ryan Seacrest.
Isn't Tanya, you and Robbie going to be Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber?
We're going to be Justin Bieber and Billie Eilish from Coachella this year.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
And your husband is going to dress up as Justin?
Yeah. Remember he was wearing like the red sweater.
Cut off sleeveless. That seems easy. Is he going to tap?
Very easy. Probably. And then Billie Eilish had like the purple track suit on.
Okay. That is a good one. Yeah.
Ronnie, did you hear that? Put a sweatshirt on. Naked pixelation he's going as. All right, let's check out our Halloween weekend watch list. This is stuff that, you know, pops on our radar if you're interested in watching things. It's hard to keep up with all this stuff. So, Cicely, what's on your weekend watch list for Halloween?
I just finished all eight episodes streaming now on Prime. I'm talking about Carrie, Stephen King's from the movie Carrie that came out in, like, the 70s. And apparently it is approved for season two and Stephen King.
Has signed off on that as well. So it's really good.
Yes.
And I highly recommend it.
Tanya, you've been telling me about Widows Bay on Apple TV +. Is that what you're coming up with this weekend?
Yes, because it's kind of like Halloween adjacent, but it's a little bit campy. It's a little bit scary, but I don't like scary stuff. And I could sit through and I watched this whole thing. It won 14 Emmys. All the episodes are out on Apple TV +. But It's basically Matthew starring Matthew Rhys, and he's like the mayor.
He's trying to get tourists.
It's so good.
He's married to the show that I watch, and I blew right through it. He's a diplomat.
He's not married.
I know.
They're together. Fine.
He's with Keri Russell, who stars in The Diplomat, which is on Netflix, which I just ate that series up, the new season.
So I did that.
Check that box. All right, Ruby, what's on your weekend watch list for Halloween?
So mine actually has very similar vibes to Widow's Bay.
It's called Below on Netflix.
A small town fisherman and a marine biologist team up to protect their community when a massive iceberg brings a terrifying sea creature to their shores.
So it's also like thriller vibes.
It's not super spooky.
This is my horror thriller. I'd rather watch thriller as horror than horror as horror.
On my weekend watches, honestly, I'm just watching the promo that says Black Doves 2 is coming soon.
It's not out yet.
Okay.
You don't know this show? It's Kieran Knightley.
No, but you know when the show is about to come out and it's not out yet, but they show you the teaser and then they tell you it's not out for a few more weeks. I just keep watching the teaser waiting for it to come out.
I feel like I remember season one.
Black Doves.
It's like MI5 Secret Service in London. Kieran Knightley comes out November 5th.
I don't think I ever finished season one.
It's good. It's a thriller as well.
And another thriller slash horror, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune tonight for charity.
That's on Steve Aoki, actually.
DJ Steve Aoki is on Connie Britton and Dulé Hill solving puzzles for charity.
Connie Britton, very good at this.
Okay.
I love her. That's tonight for some good family fun, 8, 7 Central on ABC. Ryan Seacrest, Sissonee, Tanya, the back room, just talking about our Halloween costumes. I think the most memorable moment, if you missed it, what you might want to hear on our podcast is which one of us here, Ruby, Ronnie, Ryan, myself, Tanya, Tubbs, or Sissonee, He's going to go as a naked person for Halloween.
Ooh, that's a tough one.
I want to think of things that never crossed my mind. Yeah, that's on there. If anything, you should.
Take his costume idea this year because.
You're so fit. Yeah. Yeah, like you would look so actually great.
As Adam?
And we could be twins. Yeah. So let's go play this out.
You could be Adam and Steve.
Yes.
That's going to be my caption.
Who's Steve?
It's like Adam and Eve.
I know who Eve and Adam are, but who's Steve?
It's like saying Eve, but you just say Steve.
So I'd be naked Steve?
Yes.
Oh.
All right.
Just so we understand the construction of the costume. So if you wear it tonight and I wear it tomorrow, what am I sharing with you?
Well, it's going to be underwear, so you have to share it. But you could put up another pair of underwear.
Yeah, just get your own nude pair.
Can't I glue my codpiece on and just take my own underwear and just glue the pixel portion?
Well, okay, so, yeah, I mean, I can make you one. It'll be easier that way.
Adorable.
Yeah, I think that's best for everybody involved.
I mean, I don't loathe it this year, Tanya. Just this year.
And you could get, like, a long leaf, like a boa, and wear it around your neck.
And it's going to be a little leaf flower crown. Yeah. It's going to be really, really cute.
Oh, I love a leaf flower crown vibe. This is your year to do it, Ryan. Come on.
Why am I all of a sudden agreeing with you?
Why do I like it?
Why do I like the idea? And also Halloween won't be on a Saturday for another 10 years. So this is when you have to go all out. This is our year.
This is our year. Where am I going to go? I get all dressed on.
Let's go to West Hollywood. That's where I'm going to be. Well, I'm going to multiple places, but West Hollywood is one of them.
All right, so I'm going to put on a pixelated box of underwear and nothing else and go with you to West Hollywood.
That's what I'm doing Saturday, tomorrow.
No, you're going to be the leave man, the leaves, Adam and Steve.
Oh, I'm Steve. I'll be Steve.
From the Garden of Eden.
Yeah. All right.
I'll get this.
Send pics. Hi, Mom, if you're listening on the iHeartRadio app. Let's just talk quick football. Southern California, big football weekend. UCLA ranked what? Number, Mark, what do they rank?
Seven.
Seven right now.
UCLA Bruins, seven in the top ten.
College football.
Play Nevada. Rose Bowl, that's tomorrow. 115. USC's got a big one, too, hosting Ohio State. At 4.30, it's the Battle of L.A. at SoFi Stadium. The Rams and the Chargers. Sunday at 1 o'clock. That's going to do it for us today on Kiss. Sisney will take you for another hour. Now, Monday, we're back with Ryan's Roses. Her husband left her, but has since come back. Crawling back. What's she going to do about that? Why is he crawling back? That's in the morning on Monday. Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween!
Enjoy!
Thanks for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to subscribe, and we'll talk to you again Monday.
