From Hollywood to you.
Thank you for listening to us.
Ryan Seacrest.
Seacrest.
On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest.
It's Seacrest with you. Good morning, everybody. We've made it to the basically almost end of the week. It is October 29th, Thursday. What do we have today?
Wait, did we decide if we're not dressing up tomorrow?
No, it's too late.
Oh.
I'm so happy you said that. Thank you, Cisney, for saving us from the Chore. Cloudy skies today. Highs in the mid-70s. It's the Ryan's Roses today. That's coming up. Also, we are paying your bills $ 1, 000 every hour. I was reading this last night. For any foodies out there, the most commonly mispronounced food words. For example, that bowl. This one I get wrong. What is that bowl?
Acai.
Is it acai or acai or acai?
Acai.
Are you sure? Acai. Acai.
Acai.
Are you sure it's acai?
I think it's acai.
I think it's acai.
It's acai?
I think so because I had to say it once in a spot and I said it wrong and then I got corrected and then you know when that happens, it just stays in your brain.
Hey chat, how do you say A-C-A-I bowl? Let's see what my chat says here.
Oh, no.
It thinks I said hi, Chad. How do you say hi more?
Just look it up and then.
That's what I said, bro. All right, fine. How about Worcestershire?
I can't even say it.
How many shushes are in Worcestershire? Worcestershire? I don't know it. Those are good.
Okay, I'm excited for that.
All right, food words that we all get wrong. Gyro? Yero?
Yero.
Or hero? I thought it was gyro.
Yero.
What is it?
It's a yero.
Yero.
It's a yero.
Yero.
Hey, Chad, how do you say G-Y-R-O?
Stop calling him Chad.
Yero.
Just like we just said.
Yero.
Euro.
No, Euro.
Euro.
Like year without the R.
Euro.
All right, one more. This is so fun.
It really is.
P-H-O. How do you say it? Pho. It annoys me when you say it like that.
But that's the way it is.
I know, but my sister does it. What is it? It seems.
What do you say?
It's pho, but it looks like pho. And my sister goes, we ordered pho tonight.
Last night, whatever.
Pho.
Pho.
I don't know. It is fun. Leachy. All right, let's go. These are the things you do when you're alone at night. Right there. Avril Lavigne on Kiss FM. Ruby, do you want to bring this to the group here? What is happening?
I am so guilty of just sitting in my car before actually getting inside my house just to scroll.
Just to go through your phone before you get home. I do the same thing because you're not... First of all, once you go in, you know things are going on. And second of all, If you're not reading your stuff while you're driving, then you want to kind of get through it, flush it all out before you get out of your car. I mean, I've sat in parking lots and done that. I've sat at home and done that.
I've pulled up to places at friends' houses and done that while they're just like, what are you doing, bro? I'm like, hold on, hold on, hold on, to get through it.
Yeah, and it's like your quiet space almost. Like I came home from Trader Joe's last night, literally had two bags full of groceries, and I'm just sitting there. scrolling and I'm like why am I here in my car for 10 minutes scrolling.
I don't want to get out I can't go face them once I go face them it's over my time is done I get it I mean Forget the phone just to be alone in the car and not have anybody in the car asking for stuff, wanting stuff, taking them to ballet practice or soccer practice. I'm out. You don't do that. I don't do it, but I think the people who do do it and I think I don't want to do that.
I do it.
I don't know how you do it. I can't even get my stuff done for me, let alone kids stuff done.
Yeah, it's wild.
Maybe I'll have kids that don't do any extracurricular activities.
No, you won't. It's so wonderful. You know what you're saying? Like people ask me what my hobbies are. Like that's my hobby.
Like I go and I watch their hobbies.
My sister does the same.
Yeah.
Every weekend.
What?
You don't get a weekend.
Yeah.
Our weekends are gone.
Not for me. Well, after seven o'clock, we got that Ryan's roses. We were telling you about. So stand by new Ryan's roses coming up. No shortage of, people in need of the public service of Ryan's roses. Uh, are you a tit for tat person? Do you, do you tit for tat? Are you transactional? Are you, are you a grudge holder? Are you the kind of person that says, well, I'm going to do it for you. You didn't do it for me. Cause we have those people.
You don't want to be, you don't want to be that.
Oh, are you, are you that?
I don't think I am.
No, I don't have the energy.
Mm.
To tit and tat.
I can't remember. Just be kind.
Do it because you want to do it, not because you are expecting something or you want something in return.
For example, happy birthday. You want to send somebody a happy birthday? Do you ever think to yourself, well, let me check and see if they wished me a happy birthday before I wish them a happy birthday.
Oh, that's interesting.
Jordan does it. Jordan, you do this. Why do you do this? Seems very childish.
You know, I'm usually not someone who's like petty or like tit for tat here and there.
But this specific reason, I have to be.
Because there was a recent, I had a friend, their birthday was, it was their birthday. I go on their stories and they just have all these pictures.
I'm going through them.
And I'm like, maybe I should slide up and say happy birthday too. But then I had to think back and I was like, wait, let me just double, let me just double check. So I go on our DMs and our text messages and, for my birthday and see like if they wish me a happy birthday and they didn't.
So I was like, you know, forget this.
Why? Why not make them feel better?
Why?
That is petty.
You're like literally scrolling through the phone.
That takes too much time.
Wasted so much time just looking.
Yeah, just wish them happy birthday. I mean, I wish all of my exes happy birthdays until the year they don't wish it to me, which makes me think they're in it with somebody else. So I shouldn't wish it to them. Otherwise, I just say. You do the same exact thing.
You do the same exact thing.
No.
Yes.
Different.
No, because they only stop when they're in one.
You don't know that.
Yeah, I do.
Yeah, that's true. I know the rule. I know our rule is that we always send each other happy birthdays until we're seeing somebody.
There's people in my world where I will say happy birthday when I go to text them. They sent me a happy birthday back in March. And like, that's our only conversations now.
It's like, just happy birthday to each other. And I'm like, should we even be friends anymore? I don't even know.
I think, you know, it makes people feel good.
Yeah.
Don't go back and tit for tat. And that is the definition of petty, Jordan.
FYI.
All right, guilty.
I'll take this one. We're moving towards Ryan's Roses. I got your quote of the day next. Ice Kiss FM. Oh, quick Halloween thingy thing. The non-candy items that kids actually would take for trick-or-treating. If you don't give out candy, then these things, I guess, kids don't hate. We do some of these. They don't want pencils. They don't want a little bag of carrots. People do it. They want squishies.
If this is non-candy stuff. Squishies, glow sticks, or what's a Z-bar? A Clif Bar Z-bar?
It's like a protein bar, but for kids.
They're delicious. So you can do protein bars, glow sticks, and squishies if you don't do candy. No care.
We do glow sticks, and it is a hit. I'm telling you.
But they're such a pain in the butt. You have to put the little snap thing on every single one. But the kids love them.
Yes, we do glow sticks.
All right.
Today's quote for everyone. Before speaking. Is it true? Before speaking. Is it kind? Before speaking, is it necessary? If it's no to any of that, don't speak it. Oh, that's so good. That was a good one. Takes a lot of time to go through a checklist, but it's very thoughtful. Almost time for Ryan's Roses 740. Sisney, what's happening? Kiss FM Headlines with Sisney.
All coastal flood advisories remain in effect across L.A., Orange and Ventura counties with a fourth day of high tides expected and more on the way, of course, particularly on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Pasadena officials are warning community members about scammers posing as public health officials to obtain personal and financial information.
Disney has laid off between 100 and 200 employees.
In its experiences division, including the company's theme parks, resorts, and cruise lines. And TikTok launched a new restaurant discovery feature called Must Eat in L.A., New York and San Francisco.
We are very close to a Ryan's Roses this morning at 740. All right. Our intern Bella has had a lot of crises with her roommates. And yet here is another one. So you live with somebody that likes the temp set at 68 degrees. Now, this is here. Here's the thing I'm going to throw out. And I had to deal with this stuff with with Louis and Danaz when we live together. Do you fair split if somebody does more of something and the bills more for what they use it for? Or do you split down the middle evenly and cover this stuff before you guys really live together? Your roommate likes it at 68 degrees, Bella.
Yes.
And it's like 68 degrees all the time. She'll come into the place, set it at 68 and then leave right after. I'm like, what's the point of doing that? You're not even going to be here for it. And so we're going back and forth. Like each roommate is like switching the AC and it's causing.
Our bill to go up.
The first three weeks we live there, our electricity bill was $ 500.
Now, this has also been very hot. So it's going to cost more too, right?
Right.
But even when it's like 70 degrees at night, it's still 68.
Like there's no reason to have the AC on.
So have you said to roommate one, hey, let's come up with a compromise in terms of temperature. Otherwise, it's so extreme.
Right.
And you're pushing the bill up.
Yeah.
I sent a text.
I was like, can we please not play AC Wars? Like it got me sick because it was freezing inside and she never responded to it.
Well, don't you live with her? Can't you speak to her?
She doesn't speak to me. She won't even look in my direction. Oh, my goodness.
I avoid her at all costs. You have picked the best roommates. Last roommate saying is cease and desist.
Yeah, it's the same one.
Well, I'm not surprised. Our advice was get out. I'm trying. I think you don't push the entire. Here's my take on something like this. If you can't solve this problem, wait until you have to be out in the real world. And, you know, you're married and your husband wants one neighborhood. You want the other. You can't decide. Like, what do you do then?
Yeah.
To move into. Does anybody take long, hot showers?
No.
No. Because you could also use that as precedent.
Yeah, they're in there for 30, 40 minutes. Just the water running.
I think you got to come up with a fair attempt. Now, also, maybe they don't pay full freight on the extra because the heat was so hot. But my advice to you is you have a roommate crisis in general. No matter what happens, this person's going to keep creating problems for you. Now that you're single, does that change things? Not necessarily.
Can you move out and get a new roommate?
I've been looking for a new roommate, but my option right now is just to move into my sorority house.
There you go. That's exciting. That seems fun. Good luck. This roommate is trouble. There's nothing we can do to solve that problem. It's going to be problem after problem. Ready, Michaela? These are opening lines. Michaela's getting on hinge. Let's see if we like any of these and if she should go out with any of the dudes. She's back on hinge.
And these are, and guys, if you're on hinge, what do you think about these opening lines and using them? You can lift them. Here we go. What do you got, Michaela? Who's hitting on you saying what on hinge right now?
Okay, the first guy said, some people say big smile, big dreams. You have a big smile, so do you also have big dreams?
I don't know.
Maybe premeditate. It's not terrible.
Yeah, that one's giving me copy-paste. Like, he just sends that one to everybody.
Yeah, it sounds a little template. I don't want to rule him out. What's another one?
The next guy said, I don't like how we're still strangers.
Now, his photo, he's smoking a cigarette with a mug of beer.
Yeah, that's why we're still strangers. Yeah, that's a no from him. That's a no.
The guy's taking a drag with the.
But someone might like a guy taking a drag.
It's not Michaela.
We're talking about Michaela, Tanya.
I'm just saying.
Michaela, he's out. That's easy. All right, what's another pick-up line on him?
This one's going to be out too, but he said, I have a feeling we'd have really good conversations and really bad decisions together.
Why is that? I would use that.
It's his photo. It's just his arm. Like, what are you doing?
I would do that too.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But he's wearing a tank. Yeah. All right, and he's playing pool. I'm not good at billiards. All right, give me one more, and then let's hone this in.
Okay, like this.
He said, I have a feeling my mom would really like you.
Wow, that's a genius line. Ryan's not into it.
No, I'm writing it down. I mean, he's cute.
I'm not loving that he's wearing sunglasses because you can't really see his eyes, but everything else looks decent.
So simple. I mean, he's saying a lot in that one sentence.
Yeah.
Clever, cute, some comedy. I'm tight with my mom. I mean, it's all good.
That's the guy.
She's a winner. Number four. And you know what? You can see in a reflection of his glasses who took the picture.
Oh, his mom.
His mom with a purse. There's your guy right there. So she's going to be off the market soon. Now, Ryan's Roses is next. It's time for Ryan's Roses. Here we go. 102.7 Kiss FM. Sarah writing in saying, I got a Facebook message from some random guy that simply said it's happening again. When I clicked on his profile, it looks like he's married to one of my husband's coworkers.
What's happening? And what does he mean by again? All right, Sarah, how did you address this?
I mean, I just.
Sat there with it. I really didn't know what to do, and I don't know what it means, and I haven't done anything yet.
And so I kind of just want to know, and that's why I want you guys to figure it out with me.
So if we find out that this is bad, you're going to tell your co-worker that her husband's doing this?
I mean, I.
Don't know what.
This is.
This guy, Paul, I don't know who he is, but I guess that this person, Callie, is a woman that my husband works with.
Oh, your husband?
Yeah.
My husband works with Callie, this woman.
I've met her a few times over the years, so I know who she is. So this guy, Paul, is like, it's happening again.
What's happening again?
I don't understand this at all. Someone explain. I'm totally lost.
Is he implying that he thinks that they were having an affair?
Yeah.
The random guy who Facebook messaged her saying it's happening again is the husband of said person that it's happening again with your husband.
And I recognized his wife on Facebook. So I know like, she's, she's, her name is Callie.
I only know one Callie. Like I've met her a few times, like her name is unique. So I've just remembered it, but I like, I don't know her, but.
I like, are you saying that you think your husband is having an affair with somebody named Callie? Is that right?
Yes, and her husband.
Texted me to try to, like, give me some kind of heads up, I guess.
Right.
But I was like, do I know you? And when I messaged back, and then nothing.
But it's happening again, which means he knew about it.
All right, hold on one second. Can you quickly explain this to me so I know what we're doing next?
The husband, so Kat.
Sarah's husband is having an affair with Callie or so we think. Callie's husband is the person that messaged Sarah telling her it's happening again.
Which means.
So Callie's guilty and Sarah's husband guilty of an affair together possibly.
Right.
And the husband's giving Sarah the heads up.
Callie's husband.
I hope you listening can follow this because it's.
It is a doozy.
Next kiss. All right. It's time for the call here on Ryan's Roses. Let me do my best. So explain what's about to happen here. So Sarah thinks her husband's cheating because some random guy who's married to somebody named Callie reached out and said, hey, your husband's what?
It's happening again with your husband and my wife.
On Facebook message. So basically, Sarah's married to her husband. Callie's married to random guy. Random guy reaches out to Sarah and says, I think our spouses are having an affair. Is that right?
Yes.
Why is this such a brain suck so early in the morning? I can't take all this. It's not so straightforward. So Sarah, I explained it to Sissany. So she now understands it.
I explained it to you.
I need you to say, Ryan, you have my permission to call. Who are we calling? Yeah.
Calling your husband. Sarah's husband.
Fine.
My permission to call.
Yeah.
That's not changing.
Yeah. Ryan, you have my permission to call my husband.
And we're going to try and find out if he's having an affair with random guy's wife.
Yeah.
Right. Got it.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Hello.
Hi.
Can I speak to Chris, please?
Speaking.
Hi, Chris.
My name is Norma. I'm calling from Beach Blooms. How are you doing this morning?
Pretty good.
I'm driving off to work so I can be better.
I can make this quick.
We're actually new to the area on Second Street and we deliver here locally in Long Beach and surrounding areas. But the reason I'm calling is because it's a free promotion of a dozen red roses that you can send to anybody that you'd like.
I mean, is this for real? Is this spam?
No, so this is actually really cool.
We do this about once a month, and it's not a subscription or anything like that. I don't need cash from you. I don't need credit card info. Just the name of the person you'd want to send free roses to, and we can.
Have them out by lunchtime.
So it's just my lucky day, huh?
Exactly. Congratulations.
Well.
It's about damn time I won something.
Okay, cool. So who do you want to send these flowers to? What's their name?
Oh, you know, my wife would love to get a dozen roses. That'd make her night. Her name is Sarah.
Wonderful. And what do you want to put on the card for Sarah?
A little poem. Let's go with roses are red. The stems are green. You're the finest damn woman I've ever seen.
Wow. A little twist on that poem. I like it. Really cute.
Is there anybody else you'd want to send flowers to?
Not that I could think of.
Nobody else top of mind?
Just your wife?
Just my wife.
You love someone else I should be sending flowers to?
You love your wife?
Of course I do. I love it.
Yeah. Kind of questions about that.
Everybody says I jump in too early recently.
All right.
Hello, Chris. Your voice is being broadcast on the radio. I've got your wife, Sarah, on the line. Oh, this call just got really weird.
Am I not? She's not getting flowers?
No.
No, and what she is getting is a message on Facebook from the husband of a woman named Callie indicating that you're having an affair with a woman named Callie. What can you tell us about that? Why would she be getting this message? And the message is it's happening again.
Okay, so is.
My wife on the phone?
Yes. Can I talk to my wife? I'm right here. No, I'm right here.
Wow, Sarah, what are you doing?
We should get off the.
Phone for this conversation. I just need to know what's going on. No, I need to know what's going on. Her husband reached out to me. He said it's happening again. What does that mean? What does that mean? I'm not really comfortable. What does that mean?
Are you having an affair?
It's time to come clean.
No, no. Okay, look.
Callie has been pursuing me for quite a while, and she's been very. About her intentions, but nothing's happened. I would never do that, Sarah.
Why wouldn't you just tell me that? Why wouldn't you tell Roger? Why wouldn't you tell Donna? Why wouldn't you escalate this or whatever?
Sarah, what am I supposed to do? March down to HR? Make some huge accusation against a woman that I work with? I just thought I could handle this without it turning into any kind of a big deal.
But you never thought I should know?
I didn't think there was anything to tell, okay? She'd find reasons to be alone with me, and she would make comments. And I made it very clear to her that I was a married man, and it was not interesting.
You just mentioned me saying, it's happening again. What does that mean, again? What does that mean, again?
Okay, oh, okay, so in 2023, I think it was, Callie told Paul that she and I were having an affair.
What?
No, but it wasn't true. Yeah? Look, I don't know if that woman has got issues. Why would she bring that up to Paul, the random guy, the husband?
Look, I don't know what's going on inside that woman's head, and I'm not.
Trying to figure it out.
I don't know why she told him that. I think maybe she's having problems. within our own relationship.
Why don't I know about it?
If she's been going after him this long, why wouldn't I have known about it?
Why don't you tell her?
You tell your wife.
Because you and I, Sarah.
Our marriage is awesome.
We're great.
I didn't want to disrupt that with this. Aside from this little hiccup right now, you.
Think I'm cheating?
I'm not.
Why would Callie make this up out of thin air? And why would her husband say this is happening again? And why wouldn't you be forthcoming? See, You see, you should be transparent with your wife that this was this crazy scheme that was happening so that something like this doesn't happen, which seems very curious. You follow?
Yeah, maybe.
But the bottom line, look, I agree. Maybe I could have handled this a little differently, but I'm not cheating. I'm not cheating. Hell no, I've never cheated on you, Sarah.
Ever, ever.
I love you.
Like, this is. I don't know why you wouldn't tell me. I don't know why you wouldn't tell me any of this stuff.
I don't know why this guy is texting me and saying happening again.
Like everything, this is all, I don't even know.
I didn't want you to get upset because this is such a minor nuisance at work and I didn't want to bring it home to our marriage.
That's it.
Now hindsight, should I have told you?
Okay.
Yeah, maybe.
I don't, maybe.
Yeah.
Maybe, maybe. Okay. Well, I didn't want you to get upset.
You know, I don't want you like company get togethers and whatnot. I don't want you to like giving this woman the stink eye or causing, you know, I just, I don't know.
Oh gosh, it's all bad.
Look guys, we're going to let you get off the air. Chris, there's a cover up here. There's some sort of cover up. I don't know why, but it feels like there's a cover up here. Sarah, you now know all the people here involved. I think you might want to go to some other sources here to find out if the stories align.
Thank you for reaching out. What do you think?
I believe him.
You believe him?
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh. On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest, Sissany, Tanya, Launching. You know, interesting conversation that we're going to talk about here, and that is when you share your location, people that you share with, they know where you are. So if they know you're doing something, why do they bother you while you're doing something? More importantly, if you have my location and you see where I am on the MAP, why do you call me and ask me, where are you?
Who has your location? Yeah, who?
Three people.
Who?
Two of which you've met. One I'm keeping from you.
Wait.
The big reveal.
The fact that you share in general.
The other two are probably his mom and his sister.
Yeah, his mom and Meredith.
And the other is not a secret.
Wait, I'm surprised. Belinda doesn't have your location?
No, I don't let my office have my location.
She should.
Yeah, she should. It'd probably make life easier.
Definitely you shouldn't.
I should have your location. It'd be so nice to know when we're going to the Mr. Bones that you're going to be like, oh, he's pulling up or whatever.
Totally.
These are the things where it comes in handy.
You don't need my location. I run on time. If I'm going to be at Bones at 5, I arrive at 5. Tanya got there at 5.15.
I was told I had a window.
I had a window.
Now, Bella, you're annoyed by this, too. Our intern, this does not... different generations. Our intern, Bella, also a node. What happened to you with your sister?
My sister calls me every time I'm in class and I have to text her. I'm like, do you not check my location before you call me? Because my phone is just buzzing in class and I was in the library one time and my computer was going off and it was so embarrassing because it was so silent.
Yeah, this is not, when you have the privilege of shared location from one, this is not permission to disturb one at any point in time.
Exactly.
I can't.
See past the one person that has your location that we don't know. That's all I see now.
I know that's all you want to know. That was a big tease just for Tanya. The question is, at what point will I reveal the third person that has said shared location? And then what will your reaction be? Or do I not want to do that in case you become best friends with this person behind my back like you've done everybody else in my life? Oh, so sorry that.
We've liked all of your ex-girlfriends.
Excuse me, liked? Tanya went to lunch with an ex-girlfriend the other day and did not tell me until after. That is more than liked.
Could it be her that has your location? That's a great question.
No.
And do you have her location as well?
No.
Oh, good one.
I don't have my ex-girlfriend's locations. That for sure would be torture. Oh, you have.
Current girlfriend's locations.
No, I just said I have a third person, not a Seacrest. Let's take a break. Ronnie, would you please step in and manage? I am also curious, too.
I'm just like, hopefully one of them can get it out of you.
All right, coming up next, KISS FM, we're paying a bill in the 626. Happy to be with you on this Thursday morning. We're two out from Halloween. We fall back this weekend, an extra hour of Halloween night, so it's brilliant.
Yeah, but the rain is not the vibe for this Halloween.
Although rain and Halloween does go, rain and fog and Halloween does go hand in hand and bats.
I just like, no. If you want to be like out on a nice night, not with rain.
You know what I've learned in life?
Oh?
Don't worry about things you can't control. And don't worry about things that are two days out because a lot can happen. between now and then in those two days in everybody's life. So you need to put your energy on stuff that you can actually handle and control, like your speed, driving through these new speed camera traps. Let's be honest.
How many of us drive the exact speed limit when it comes to driving?
Man, you know what's hard to do?
What?
Drive the exact speed limit. limit when the cops are next to you. I know. Or when they're in front of you. Now, they're going under. And I asked this to LAPD and the sheriffs. You're going under speed limit and you're in front of us. Can we pass you?
Yes, as long as you're still going.
Now, when I pass you, do you mind when I wave? Because I will wave. I wave when I pass the cops.
I do not wave. I think they like that.
Oh, I love it. I put the window down. Sometimes I put the window down to thank them or just say hi, and they think I'm in need of something.
Maybe a stoplight, but not like on the freeway.
No, I can't do that on the freeway.
Okay, well, that's what I'm picturing.
I'm too nervous on the freeway.
See, that's what I'm saying.
I got 10 and 2 on the steering wheel. Yeah, exactly. No gin and juice, just 10 and 2.
Yeah.
Oh, sure.
I feel like waving at you looks suspicious.
I think so, too. Like, hey.
Johnny, look at me.
Everything good over here.
What's suspicious about this? No, yeah. There you look nice, but why are you waving at the police? Because it does look weird.
I don't engage.
All right.
Just quickly, just recap these cameras. Where are they? What's the grace period on the speeding?
So a few of them started rolling out this week, about 20 or so.
What's different about these?
What's different is that they're actually live now. We've been talking about these for months. Like, oh, they're coming, they're coming, they're coming. But now this week, they officially have launched. And then 125 across the city eventually by the end of the year.
Streets all over L.A. From San Fernando Valley to Hollywood, South L.A., beyond.
And then remember, these cameras will catch drivers going 11 miles per hour or more over the speed limit. And sometimes I have to look down and realize that, oh my gosh, I was speeding. Like, I didn't realize it.
So you can roll through at 10? 10 over?
I guess 10 over is fine.
And then there is that grace period that you were talking about, 60-day warning period.
They actually start handing out tickets after that.
It'll be like $ 50 to anywhere as high as $ 500. I'm assuming that'll depend on how high you were going over the speed limit. That'll be based on how much they charge you.
Now, what happens if you are rolling at 11 over, you spot it, then you hit the brakes fast, you are at 7, do they average the miles per hour out there?
I don't think so.
I think it just comes down to when you're passing that said camera, if it catches you over.
the 11 miles, boom picture. You're done.
60 day grace period. Keep that in mind. Tickets to our sold out jingle ball next to kiss Aaron in studio city.
Good morning.
Hey, good morning. So let's go. Your boyfriend of how long?
Uh, about a year.
What do you do to you at the last minute here about Halloween?
Well, he, you know, I assumed that we would go to a party together for Halloween. But yesterday he told me that his buddies are renting a party bus to hit up a bunch of Halloween bars in West Hollywood.
And he just wants to go with the guys.
So what was your reaction to that?
Well, I guess I got suspicious because he said it just came up, but I feel like he's been avoiding telling me.
Yeah.
And, like, most of his friends are single, and he says that they just want one night to go out and have fun. And he says, like, oh, it's not about you. Like, you should make plans with your own friends.
So let me give you some relationship advice here on how to handle something like this, okay? You need to be very clear to make this not about you feeling excluded and taking it personally. This is my advice. I would not make it feel personal. Like, oh, I want to go or I feel excluded. I think you make it clear. hey, that's fine that you want to go out with your guys. That you should do. The problem I have is not exclusion. It's notice time. It's about notice.
There's a time in which notice is appropriate ahead of time. So it doesn't feel like some secrecy or sprung upon you. Cause I, what I don't like in any scenario, and I only say this cause I've been through all this stuff before. What I don't like in any scenario is you feeling like they were waiting to tell you in secrecy so that it was last minute. That's so I would focus on, appropriate time of notice for things in your relationship.
Right because like i don't i don't love the idea of him just like bar hopping with a bunch of single guys of his friends wondering like what he's doing.
Yeah because that becomes a trust issue if you don't trust him we have a different set of conversations here.
Why can't you just be upset that you are not spending halloween with your boyfriend of one.
Year literally like you get so excited for your first like Couples costume and now he's just running off with his bros.
Those two are getting lost in the weeds. You're getting lost in the weeds.
No, there's no weeds.
I'm talking about roots in a relationship. You guys are weeds. Nah.
If Michael pulled this our first year of dating, we wouldn't be together right now.
Literally.
Then that would have been sliding doors. See the movie.
I know.
I still haven't seen that movie.
Me too.
You got to see that.
I know.
It's early days, GP. Going to the Paltrow.
I'll watch it during the holidays.
Erin, to me, I'm just going to tell you at 40,000 feet, you can weed dive with those two, but 40,000 feet, it's not about personal exclusion, jealousy, trust, if you trust him. It's about notice. No, it's about boundaries. I don't know. You guys are lost.
And being together.
Yeah.
We're the married ones here. I can take our advice.
Exactly. You can let the guard down.
All right, Erin.
Happy Halloween and good luck.
Oh, thanks.
I'm just saying, just don't make me an afterthought. That's all I'm saying. Don't make me an afterthought. This is going to tell you what's new this morning.
On air with Ryan Seacrest.
Jingle ball. Tickets coming up in a few.
Tanya.
The question is what? This is a trending report and a question that comes with it.
Yeah, another one.
Could you ever date? Could you ever date your ex's new partner's ex?
Okay, I need to jot it down. My ex's new partner... So my ex... I need to play this out. Okay.
So you and Sisney were married and you broke up.
Adorable.
Then? So.
Sisney was married to Ronnie. They divorced, and now.
This.
Isn't going to work out for you. Now I'm with Ronnie?
No, now who was married to Ronnie? I was married to Ronnie. So now Ryan, me, and you are married, and now Sisney and Ronnie are married.
No.
Yeah, it's the craziest story. So do you remember Amy Roback and TJ Holmes? They were the former... GMA3 co-hosts who got caught in the workplace romance back in 2020.
Now they're both off the air.
Podcasters.
Yes, yes. But they got pulled off the air, and by early 2023, they were out of ABC for good. They recently got married, but now... each of their exes got engaged to each other.
This story is.
Like, I do remember the exes getting together.
But this makes more sense in this scenario because they probably commiserated about what happened first and decided that they had compatibility and relatability to the situation and then fell for each other after.
So that's exactly what happened. So the two of them became friends while going through their divorces. They basically like leaned on each other and then it turned into something more. They could have stayed bitter, but instead they found each other. And now they're all saying that everybody gets their happy ending.
It's just a bit of a swap.
I mean, to go through some of that to get there, if it all ends up peaceful, great. But you wonder how much vulnerability played in that second part of this whole thing. Because when you set up our scenario, it wasn't quite as tragic at the beginning. So, you know, when you have. No one to turn to to talk about what happened behind your back, except for the other person. You're vulnerable with that person. You confide in that person. That does create a closeness that you might fall for.
And it also just goes to show you, I feel like in the moment when we were hearing all this, it was just such a scandal, and it was like you couldn't believe it, and you felt bad for everybody. But now, in the end, everybody's happy and together, and it all works out.
This is why you shouldn't worry about the rain we're calling for in two days. It may work out, Sissany, for Halloween.
It might.
It's just not my vision that I had for the night.
