SZA Just Gave the Best Lesson In How to Shut Down a Troll

0:00 Tanya, SZA's become a shero because she stepped in on a hater.

0:04 What'd she do? Best lesson in how to shut down a troll because she posted a colorful balloon animal sculpture that she bought from an artist named Adam Nassi. So she was scrolling. She saw this guy, Adam. Somebody was commenting on Adam's things, trashing his artwork, basically saying that the art is terrible. And if anybody actually buys it, he will match it. So SZA saw this. She jumps in on the comments, tags the guy, and asks the artist Adam for the most expensive piece he's got. She ends up getting it. We don't know if that troll ever matched the purchase like he promised, but she did a comment saying, being a hater gets expensive, ain't it?

0:45 And so I just love the story because... SZA did not need to get involved in this at all. It was just like, she did.

0:51 She did. But look, I love it too. I get why she's the Shiro. I think it's a good move. The thing is just the whole hater thing. I can't read them. I can't engage. I can't look at the comments because I don't want to see the hate. I just don't.

1:07 It makes me want to jump in on any hate that you guys get. So, like, if people are commenting on you and hating on you, I want to respond to them. And if anybody's getting on your Instagram and hating on you, I want to get in on them.

1:18 You know what we want at the end of the day?
