Thank you. Hey there, fellow babies, refiners, hive minders, individuals, weirdos, and others. It's Alan Stare, a.k.a. Alan S. I've got some exciting news. If you're a fan of the Ultimate Podcast format, I'm starting a brand new Ultimate Podcast. I'm ready to take apart the first three seasons of the Apple TV series, Silo. Since I first began publishing Severed, the Ultimate Severance Podcast, back in 2022, I've received a lot of email from listeners who love the Ultimate Podcast format, and wanted me to apply it to other properties. This led to the creation of Hello Carol, the ultimate Pluribus podcast.

Hello Carol was by request, but I will tell you a little secret about that. Pluribus was not the most requested series from listeners. It was siloed, and by a significant amount. At the time, I wasn't ready to take on Silo. It didn't bowl me over the way Severance and Pluribus had. I have to truly love these shows in order to do these podcasts. Deconstructing a single television episode can mean spending as many as 40 hours with that episode of the show. If I'm into the content, I love doing it. Otherwise, it can be a real slog.

So what's the difference now? What changed? Season 3 of Silo happened. It was incredible. Don't misunderstand. I'm a Silo fan. I was watching. I just wasn't ready to commit to making a podcast about it. Season 3 changed my mind. It pulled together things I had questions about going back to the first couple of episodes. When Season 3 was over, it caused me to go back and completely re-watch the first two seasons. I was watching with an entirely different attitude about the show. Questions were answered and motivations were revealed.

I decided this was a property I could dig into as an ultimate podcast. A few weeks ago, I started writing and researching Silo. I've already finished scripting several podcast episodes. I've gone all the way back to season one, episode one. I plan to go through all three seasons. My goal is when the fourth season premieres this summer, I should be close to finished with the first three. Four has been announced as the final season. It's already been shot and is into editing. I hope to be ready to move right into finishing the series once the fourth season has completely dropped by the fall. What's it going to be called? Well, we took a vote on the Hello Carol and Severed Patreon pages. The patrons who support the

Ultimate Podcast with actual cash every month got to choose the name. It was close, but the winner was Out to Clean, the Ultimate Silo Podcast. I'm already referring to it as OTC. Out to Clean will premiere on Thursday, November 5th. Make sure to subscribe. It will be available on all of the usual podcast portals. I'm also planning a change to Patreon. As it stands, each podcast has its own Patreon page. Some patrons are even supporting multiple Ultimate podcasts. It's kind of a mess. Rather than add to the mess by launching another page for the Silo podcast...

I've decided to bring all of the Ultimate Podcasts together under one page. It will be called Ultimate Rewatch Podcasts. This means as a supporter, you'll get access to everything under one roof. All of the WKRP Cast, Severed, and Hello Carol apps will be available in one place ad-free. Plus, you'll get the new Silo apps as they're produced. You can even help to proof them while I'm working on them.

News reporting and scheduling for all of the shows we love will also be in one place. It's going to be easier for me to maintain and for you to follow. Be watching for this new Patreon page in the next couple of weeks. If you are a current Patreon subscriber, thank you very much, and be watching for more information about this changeover to the individual pages. While I've got you, I would like to dispel a rumor that has been circulating about me and these podcasts. It's probably going to come up again now that I'm doing a silo podcast.

I don't work for Apple TV this rumor that I do really kicked into high gear after I was on the Ben and Adam podcast it's not true I really and truly am a retired ad guy in his basement in the Midwest I produce every podcast episode all by myself I know I seem to have an unhealthy fixation when it comes to Apple TV programming. It's just so good.

They have the best sci-fi and futuristic programming available from any of the major streaming services. In addition to the silo requests, I've also got a ton of notes in from you guys who want an Ultimate Widow's Bay and an Ultimate Dark Matter podcast. Those are also both on Apple TV. If you can get Apple to pay me something for doing these, I am all for it. But as of this recording, I'm not getting a dime from Apple.

Spread the word when you see somebody on Reddit who says, well, I heard those podcasts he claims to produce are just promotion for Apple TV. It's not true. Okay, so I need to get back to work. I'm launching a podcast in less than a month. I hope you're as excited as I am about this new ultimate podcast. I'm really looking forward to spending the next few months down deep with the silo dwellers. For right now, make sure to subscribe, then join the fun on Thursday, November 5th for the premiere of Out to Clean, the ultimate silo podcast.
