Bloomberg Audio Studios, podcasts, radio, news. The Stock Movers Report, your roundup of companies making moves in the stock market, harnessing the power of Bloomberg data.

Let's take a look at some stocks on the move today. I'm Nora Melinda, joined by Bloomberg Equities Reporter Matthew Griffin. What are you watching today?

Well, Nora, I've been watching CoreWeave because Wall Street keeps defending that company and its stock just keeps dropping. So that's ticker CRWV down about a percent, reversing again from this morning.

You had.

A rebound in the rest of the AI trade, chip makers, AI computing companies. You had JP Morgan say concerns about debt and cash burn for the company were overdone. You had Goldman Sachs upgrading the stock on a similar idea. But the reality is, this company's debt, it was trading at levels last week that typically indicated distress. Investors are very worried about its borrowing costs, how much it is going to cost to build out AI computing. And They just can't seem to look past that. So that stock fell 25% last week, and it's extending that decline a little bit today.

Yeah, it was a really tough week for CoreWeave. And so it's interesting now, you know, to see it felt like a bit of a roller coaster last week. But as you're calling out right now, down about 1%. So from over there, we're moving over to Cleveland Cliffs. That's what you're watching, right?

Yes, Cleveland Cliffs is a steelmaker that's ticker CLF, and the stock is up 17% now. It's been extending its gain throughout the day after earnings more than quadrupled year over year. The reason there is President Donald Trump's tariffs on the metal. That tariff of 50% has removed a lot of competition from abroad. It's pushed U.S. steel prices higher.

And for Cleveland Cliffs, that translated into adjusted earnings before interest taxes and other items of $ 612 million. Wall Street was looking for just $ 591. 5 million. The company also raised its outlook for next year. I do think it's interesting, though, to point out that if you look at another company, that's A.O. Smith. They make water heaters. That stock is down a hair today, ticker AOS. after Stiefel downgraded them over the weekend on steel prices. So, you know, these tariffs, they're great if you make a metal. They're not so great if you have to buy it. Yeah.

I mean, the CEO of Cleveland Cliffs earlier saying what the Trump administration has done on trade is not just good for Cleveland Cliffs, but it's good for America. So clearly a bit bullish on that take. Let's take a look at Match Group.

Yes, this is an interesting one. That stock, ticker MTCH, is up about 4% now after being raised to a buy equivalent rating at Evercore ISI, and that's on user figures at Tinder. This is the parent company of Tinder and Hinge, the other dating app. It's kind of in a turnaround. My colleague on the equities team, Georgie McKay, had this really fun story last week about how people are turning to high-end matchmaking, actually, because they aren't happy with the dating app experience. That's been true for a lot of people, whether they're using these expensive matchmakers or not. But, what Evercore says, they say, the recovery at Tinder, it's likely accelerating. It's likely even going better than management originally expected.

Fundamental trends for this company are the best since 2021. to 2022, which is when the stock peaked. It's still down a lot since then, but getting a little bit of relief today.

Yeah, a little bit of relief and up about 38% on a year to date basis.
