On this episode of Stock Movers:
- Vertiv Holdings (VRT) shares surge. The maker of power and cooling equipment raised its full-year adjusted earnings per share outlook to above consensus estimates. CEO Giordano Albertazzi said in a statement that organic order growth was more than 100% as its role in the data center boom “keeps expanding.”
- NXP Semiconductors (NXPI) shares slide. The chipmaker forecast revenue growth that raised concerns a recovery in demand from the auto industry is stalling. Fourth-quarter sales are set to rise about 15% to roughly $3.85 billion, which compares with an average analyst estimate of $3.87 billion. The company's results were described as "just OK" by analyst Joshua Buchalter, who said NXP may not be benefiting from increasing demand from carmakers in the same way that peers have shown.
- Enphase Energy (ENPH) shares fell as much as 20%, the most since June 2025, after fourth-quarter guidance from the solar energy equipment manufacturer missed the average analyst estimate. Analysts note that recovery now looks delayed into 2027 and that the macro environment is weakening across all geographies.

Bloomberg Audio Studios. Podcasts. Radio. News. The Stock Movers Report. Your roundup of companies making moves in the stock market. Harnessing the power of Bloomberg data.
Let's take a look at some of the individual stocks on the move today.
We can do that with Natalia Kanijevic, equities reporter for Bloomberg News, joining us live here in studio.
Natalia, what are you looking at? Let's start with Avertive Holdings, guys. The ticker for that one is VRT. Shares are up by 13% today. The company raised outlook after third quarter sales came above expectations. That basically confirms strong demand for electrical and cooling systems for data centers. Third quarter sales came 15% stronger than analysts expected. And that also exceeded expectations across all regions. Now, it is important because the whole S & P 500 industrial sector has been under pressure. Remember, it entered the correction territory for the second time this year in early September because expectations were so high and then there was some disappointment. But even after sell-off, many
of those industrial stocks are trading at premium valuations, including avertive. And shares are up since the beginning of the year by almost 44%. All right. So that is one that you're watching. You have a chipmaker that you're also keeping an eye on. Yeah, so NXP semiconductors, the ticker for that one is NXP, shares are down by almost 3% today.
Forecasts for revenue growth raised some concerns that recovering demand from the auto industry is slowing down. Now, first quarter sales are set to rise about 15% to $ 3. 85 billion versus expectations of... 3.87. So that would mark a slowdown in growth compared to the second and third quarters. But I want to point out how vital knowledge analysts described the report. He said the report isn't disastrous. It just won't be enough to spur stocks higher. Gotcha. Okay. Enphase Energy? Yeah, so the ticker for this one is ENPH. Shares are down by almost 16%. It's a pretty significant move. Guidance for the fourth quarter missed analyst expectations. And this is also, guys, a macro story because analysts pointed out that it looks
like recovery is getting delayed into 2027. Macro environment, high interest rates really impact demand for solar equipment.
