#450 - Kyle Thompson // Hell’s Hydra: Socialism/Communism

We trace the first murder in Genesis to envy, then use that same heart-level diagnosis to examine how modern ideologies sell “justice” through comparison and resentment. We define socialism and communism, confront a common misuse of Acts 4 and 5, and end with a direct challenge to fight envy before it turns into something darker.
• Cain and Abel as a clear picture of envy driving violence
• Equality of outcome as a story fueled by comparison
• Quick, practical definitions of socialism and communism
• Why Acts 4 and Acts 5 describe voluntary generosity, not coercion
• Ananias and Sapphira as a warning against pretend sacrifice
• A personal gut-check for “Cain heat” and the call to rule over sin
• Generosity as gratitude, not government extraction
