Pieces of A Woman Birth Consultant Elan McAllister & WCW Spotlight Deborah Hoard

This week Kelsey Marsh (linkedin.com/in/kelseyjanellemarsh) talks with birth consultant Elan McAllister about her work on the film Pieces of A Woman (netflix.com/title/81128745) and trying to change how birthing scenes are portrayed on screen. In our Woman Crush Wednesdays Member Spotlight Deborah Hoard (pspny.com) is crushing it.

Hosts Cassandra Seidenfeld (cassandraseidenfeld.com) and Janine McGoldrick (2ndchapterproductions.com) highlight BFI's upcoming Woman With A Movie Camera Summit (whatson.bfi.org.uk/Online/default.asp?BOparam:…) and recommend Marc Unger’s Thespian (thespianseries.com/about-us) and Werewolves Within (ifcfilms.com/films/werewolves-within).

Nominate a member for the WCW Spotlight and/or share your story or first time experiences with us at communications@nywift.org. For more great information and events go to NYWIFT.org (nywift.org).
