Beyond the Office: How Environmental Freedom Expands Your Readings

Ever caught yourself believing you need the perfect conditions to connect with spirit? That meticulously arranged desk, precise lighting, and absolute silence might actually be holding you back from your full potential as a spiritual reader.

This summer shattered my carefully constructed reality when circumstances forced me to conduct readings from my tiny 600-square-foot lake house with kids making popcorn in the background and family members wandering in and out. What began as a stress-inducing nightmare evolved into a profound spiritual lesson that fundamentally changed how I approach mediumship.

The turning point came during a mediumship demonstration for 50 people while eight family members bustled around my postage-stamp lake property. Despite what I would have once considered nightmare conditions, I delivered what felt like my strongest reading ever—names flowed, specific evidence landed powerfully, and emotional connections formed effortlessly. In that moment of beautiful chaos, I realized how my need for control had been constricting the very magic I was trying to channel.

The energy of different spaces profoundly impacts our readings. My lake house, with its vacation vibes and proximity to natural elements, carries a higher vibration than my work-associated home office. This discovery illuminated why some practitioners prefer phone readings—they're free to connect from energetically powerful locations without concern for visual professionalism.

If you're ready to expand your spiritual abilities, I challenge you to step beyond your comfort zone. Try reading in new locations, embrace a bit of uncertainty, and watch how spirit shows up regardless of your surroundings. The problem isn't the space—it's our need for control that limits what's possible. Trust the connection, release your grip on perfect conditions, and open yourself to the unexpected synchronicities that await.
