Dead Bell & What's In It For Me: Spirit Edition

What's in it for the dead? While we often focus on what we gain from connecting with the spirit world, the spirits themselves have their own fascinating motivations for working with us.

Using my trusty "dead bell" (which chimes enthusiastically throughout this episode), I explore the surprising benefits spirits receive from participating in mediumship, ancestral healing, and soul alignment work. Contrary to common belief that spirits are simply benevolent helpers with unlimited knowledge, they're actively engaged in their own learning process when connecting with us. Just as mediums learn to use their clairs and develop intuition, spirits are learning to manipulate energy, connect across dimensions, and communicate through symbols.

Some of the most enlightening revelations come through what I call the "revolving door exercise" - connecting with random spirits not associated with anyone present. These spirits often seek out mediums because their own living family members don't believe in mediumship, giving them rare opportunities to practice communication skills they'd otherwise miss. They deeply appreciate these connections, even without validation.

Perhaps most transformative is the understanding of ancestral healing from the spirit perspective. Having personally disconnected from my own toxic family lineage, I've come to understand that our difficult ancestors often arrive in the spirit world with profound regret and genuine desire to help heal what they damaged. Some even chose challenging roles knowingly, becoming catalysts for necessary healing in future generations.

Whether you're a practicing medium or simply curious about the spirit world, this episode offers a profound reframing of how we understand our connection with those who've crossed over. The partnership isn't just about what we receive - it's a beautiful collaboration serving both worlds simultaneously. Listen in as my dead bell enthusiastically confirms these insights, and discover why spirits might be just as excited to connect with you as you are with them.
