Now, as I'm going through this amazing exhibition, I'm gonna be focusing on the artist, his tastes, and what his relationship is to creativity and money. Oddly, I don't think this guy lacked any cash. But it's not because he was focused on money and chasing money. If you ever chase anything, it runs away.
And if you don't like certain things, they generally don't show up in your reality. So as I'm going through this amazing exhibition of this incredible artist, my favorite artist, Salvador Dali, I'm gonna be allowing myself to open my mind and think about the ways that he may have thought about reality, financial stability, creating money, and making art.
And I want to think about how I can change my relationship to money and reality to be more creative myself. So I'm really excited to check out this exhibition. Like I said, I've wanted to do this for a very long time, and I'm super stoked to be out front in St. Petersburg at the Salvador Dolly Museum.
So the Dolly Museum, absolutely phenomenal. I was completely blown away. And as I was going through, I took two of the different tours inside, and I learned a tremendous amount about Dolly. First and foremost, there was a quote that always stuck with me that he said, which was the difference between me and the surrealists is that I'm a surrealist.
And I never really understood that quote. I thought it was awesome. Like that's the best burn ever. But what he was talking about is the surrealists had a very strong political agenda. They were collectivists, and they wanted Dolly to basically comply with their political leanings with Lennon and Stalin.
And Dolly would not have it. He was all about individuality, he was all about understanding his true core essence, and he was all about expressing that in a very unique and authentic way. Now, Dolly had some issues when it came to relationships. He wasn't the best relationship manager, but one thing that he was is very, very in tune with himself.
When it comes down to it, he wouldn't let the collective interests rule him. So he was not going to just comply. He wound up becoming very successful. He wound up becoming actually quite rich as a result of his following his own volition, following his own inner voice, what Vadim Zeeland and Reality Transurfing would call the Russell of the Morning Stars.
Dolly, he was not going to comply with anyone else's set of rules. He did not become part of the pendulum structure. He would absolutely not have it. He was highly influenced by Sigmund Freud, then became a surrealist. Then he actually got into math and science and understanding how the world operated and really wanted to bring science and God together.
He wanted to understand who God was and see God. And he wanted to display that in his works. Now, when he became financially successful, the way that he saw money was not anything other than really a means to himself. He created money, he created his destiny, he created his future, and he would not allow anyone to dictate to him how he was going to live his life and what the parameters or rules for him were.
He sought to find God within himself and express that in a very unique and authentic, one-of-one way. There's no one else like Dolly. Just look at the mustache. You can just see the mustache. You know exactly who we're talking about when you just see that mustache. He was a very, very smart at branding and understanding how to express himself in a very specific way.
Now he was very deeply, deeply and profoundly moved to understand at a molecular level the structure of DNA, how mathematics works, and how we are connected to God. And that is what he's displaying in his later works as he starts to get into religion and Jesus, even Dolly, oddly, came to Jesus. And one of the works actually brought me to tears in the museum.
I saw it and I didn't even read the explanation for it, but I was just blown away. It struck me on like a core level, like in my body. And I'll put it up here. I can't even pronounce the name of it. It's the longest name of any painting ever created. And it is like super califragilistic expialidocious, but it was mind-blowing, uh, absolutely stunning and beautiful, and really about resurrection and connection.
And I would say one of the things that Dolly really focused on was our isolation, our separation from God. That is something that actually we all have in common. And so through this discovery, Dolly did an amazing job of expressing his own uniqueness and his own essence in his works. And he did an amazing job of touching us all and showing us what we actually have in common, which is that sense of separation.
So Giacometti also was another artist that Dolly collaborated with, and he focused specifically on essence, and he also focused specifically on people being individuals and not complying. All of his sculptures are really focused on uniqueness and being an individual, being who you are, not complying to standards, not complying to the rules of the pendulum, not doing what everyone else says that you should do because this artist collective said that you should do it or whatever.
But by truly, truly, truly following your inner voice, that's where the path to money is. That's where the path to success is for you. There is no specific pattern or framework that you follow to find your expression. It's inside of you, and it's up to you to find that, discover that, and express it in the world.
I hope you've enjoyed this video. I hope you've enjoyed the B roll. The paintings were phenomenal, and I would strongly recommend coming to the Dali Museum and checking this stuff out for yourself. Hope you enjoyed this video. Subscribe, click the link, join us in school. See you next time. Peace.
