Cutting Deep into Horror | Tonight She Comes (2016): Blood Rituals & Body Horror

Tonight She Comes (2016) starts with a blood-covered killer and a cabin in the woods, then plunges into an occult ritual with its own grotesque rules. Henrique Couto and Rachael Redolfi revisit the slasher on Cutting Deep into Horror, tracing its blood runes, absurd characters, gory effects, and Friday the 13th Part VII homage. They also recall discovering it through Movies at the Asylum and explore how Felicity changes the story's center of gravity. Full spoilers, including the ending: find out why this splatter comedy's most revolting choices may be more deliberate than they seem.
