Is he an actual southern gentleman cat or a.
Douchebag i think that he presented himself as as a southern gentleman like to like like how viewers saw it like he's like why the rules dating i'm a mother's boy you know i come i don't know like he's like for southern yeah but then his true colors came.
Out yes they did and i think.
He's just up in a time in his life where he's a player like.
He just didn't care Hey, hello, welcome to a remote viewing party. It's Pat and Dill at TV 3000 miles away. I long for you. I long for that room. How are you?
I miss you too. And by the way, The audio's not bad. It's going to sound a little boomy, a little different, but come on. You can tolerate it.
We're trying to get better. For those that are watching us on YouTube like a movie, I got this beam of light. Do you see this thing? It looks like a lightsaber.
Oh, we're recording for YouTube.
Yeah, I figured we should. We'll just throw it up. It'll be a zoomie, yeah.
Oh, by the way, I want to thank some of the viewers that watch us on YouTube like a movie.
They gave.
Gave us a lot of hints and instruction on making it look like my face wasn't so fat. And it seems like some pretty solid advice. So, Kalen, you're hearing this over the audio. You're fired.
What was the audio or what were the tips?
They have the light at my face level.
Right.
And you shouldn't do that.
OK, got it.
He should know that.
OK, I thought it was going to be tips like like any D like blood youth supplements or like some kind of surgical procedure or something.
Oh, no, I look fine. I'm one hundred and seventy one pounds. Why do I look like two hundred and sixty pounds on camera?
OK, so Kalen's fired.
Yeah.
OK.
All right.
So I think that's a fitting way to end the season. I mean, he's a cool dude, but yeah, fuck it. He's fired. Okay, so we have the finale.
He has one job, make me look good.
But do you see the lightsaber coming down from the ceiling?
I do.
I have to lean to both sides of it.
Don't let it live out there. You okay? Let me filibuster.
My mic fell out.
Okay, there you go. Can you hear me? Yeah, I can hear you now.
Okay, great. Sorry. So yeah, we're here to cover the season finale of Below Deck. And you look great.
Thank you.
Anything my way?
Oh, you look very handsome.
Okay. We've got to break down this last episode of this, the 80th season of Below Deck. Pat, tell them about Patreon before we get into it.
Oh, sure. All right, boy. So we put Salt Lake City, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, behind the paywall, which I think was a good move on our part because... Oh, Patty's getting really offensive back there. I have nothing good to say about this woman named Mary Cosby. It's just a horrible person. And I don't know. We just let loose back there. And then we have traders, which I think is going to still be free. Dylan, is that what we're doing?
Yeah, or something like that. Think of Patreon as like we're doing some kind of hard drug behind a shed or something. You know what I mean? That's where we really get to have fun. And, uh, Pat can say things about Mary Cosby that some would find, uh, too soon. Yeah.
And by the way, and I don't want to threaten the audience, but if our numbers don't hit what I want, then we're putting traders behind the wall too. So that's okay. All right.
So we're, we're here to, and I've.
Been promised in the audience. Um, there's a show called still flipping out hosted by a, uh, uh, an evil man named Jeff Lewis. I watched the first two episodes. he's up to his old tricks, which is he hires... I'm going to say he's like Howard Stern. He surrounds himself with people that he knows are weaker than him.
I'll just call them the whack pack, but they're all gay. And then he demeans them. He pits them against each other for his own amusement. And God, it never gets old for this fucking old asshole. He just... First episode, right out of the gate, he just... hits them against each other. Is it great television? Yes. But is it getting old? Yes. Will I go after him in the chumps?
I can't even call him the chumps. I'm just going to call him the whack pack. Cause that's what are the chumps?
What is the chumps? Where does that from?
Uh, I, I think you're not gonna believe this. I think, I think Shannon Bedore's husband was getting made fun of them, uh, by them. And he called them a bunch of chumps and they found such delight in that, that David, uh, call them that, that they nicknamed themselves the chumps. I believe that's the origin story. But who cares? They're a bunch of weak whack backers that he'll fire at any moment.
So Jeff Lewis, come for me, buddy. Come for me.
Does he bang them?
Yeah.
And this is the difficulty with with the remote parties. But listen, we'll OK. Are you back?
Oh, I think that is I'm going to always add a little bit of a review of the latest episodes of still flipping out. But it's always the same episode. He's angry. He's smug. And he's going to demean an employee against that employee.
I got it. You do not like Jeff Lewis. You think that he is an evil man. Last question on Jeff Lewis before we get into blood. Does he fuck the bunch? uh the chumps the chumps yeah does he fuck the chumps.
No they're too they're too poor for him that's below him that's below his pay grade but his ex his ex-husband is now banging his ex-boyfriend.
That's that's cruel and unusual but i gotta say kind of tight to not have sex with people that are too poor and you're grossed out by them point jeff lewis okay can we talk about this season finale you know we Constantly lament that the quality of the season finale is a little lackluster below deck. There's a lot of good buys. There's a lot of loose threads. Not really tied up because there's no resolution with Sea Rats.
That's the problem with the season finale. These people are not learning anything. These people are not changing anything. They're just Sea Rats going on to the new node of Sea Ratdom. So it's a little bit anticlimactic. uh, whimper, not a bang, but this one, you know, uh, I think it, uh, you know, I think, uh, maybe, you know, for a season finale bullet deck, I didn't think it was that bad. I give it two pots.
I agree. Typically this is just a snore fest. The last 15 minutes are just those walking around the boat, hugging each other, saying this was, you changed my life. You're my best friend. And then we find out that they never talked again. Um, No, this actually, this season, I know Andy can't stand the sea rats.
Or worse, we find out that they choked their girlfriend and now they're living as a runaway in a forest.
Well, I'd say, you know, a lot of people take umbrage with your description of what took place at that apartment. He physically assaulted her. But yeah, Andy Cohen despises the sea rats, although this show is, they just bring the brink tropical. truck off at Andy's house and dump a bunch of money there because of this show, but he has no respect for them. So he doesn't give them a reunion. Dare I say, if ever he was going to bring back the reunion for below deck, it would have been for this season because there's so many, where are they? Now's what's happening now.
I'll tell you though, they're, they're, I don't want to besmirch Bravo and their coverage of their show. It's their show. It's a great show. They're free to do what they want with it. Not one mention of this Nate stuff. And you could take the other angle. Can we have a conversation about this? This will be helpful. It's informative.
It's good to know that this stuff happens. But let's just take it the route of entertainment and a fan of the show. No, you're not going to call attention to this in any way, shape, or form. No title card. Not going to address it. We're just going to sweep it under the rug, pretending like it never happened. It's kind of like ABC's The Bachelor kind of PR strategy.
Just let it go.
Close the door and forget it like it never happened. Yeah.
Yeah, no.
The reason why you have an amazing audience is because there's so many outlets for them to talk about this stuff, and thank God there's that community, or we'd all think we're losing our fucking mind because you guys don't address these issues on the actual show.
And like we said, I think that we can meet in the middle and say maybe let's do– maybe let's just do a interview, a resume lookover before we bring people onto the boat. But I don't want much more than that. This does not need to be an arduous, strenuous process. We should be letting really anyone on these boats– two pods, go ahead.
Okay, one last note. So we are going to put our interview of Kat somewhere in this episode right in the middle. This is probably going to be a long one. But yes, I would like to know what happened after did Kat and Cooper hang out with Joe? What happened? Or at least give us what Orange County does at the end of each season when they play that little acoustic guitar medley where they give us the, you know, Where's Lynn Curtin's kids now? What happened after the show stopped filming? One of them turned to crystal meth and porn and lost a few fingers. I'd like to know that.
Can you just give... us a title card saying lynn's doing well but her child did get into drugs born and lost multiple fingers like can we have a fucking.
Title card like a kind of where are they.
Now yeah exactly um all right how many bots All right.
I thought it was a great season. And, you know, for a show that has now been on since 2012. So it's at 14 years we're going on. It's still just chugging along, still having better seasons than it did six years ago. I mean, this show ain't going nowhere. No, it's amazing. And I also want to give props to.
All right.
So it always starts with the casting. And this show is cast by husband and wife team. Props to them. Sometimes, very few times have they had some poor seasons. This season, out of the park. Mostly, an amazing cast mostly made up of fuck-ups. And original fuck-ups. It's hard to find originality in fuck-ups these days.
I want to shout out two sea rats. I want to shout out Luke, who is just a walking bag of cringe, right? But He is an original Sea Rat. I mean, he came in his boss's sheets. He did not clean them for so many days. He remained next to the boat so that he could wear a wig and beard combo that looks like Santa Claus, fuck George Harrison, and then got wine thrown on him. And you have to say thank you for that. But I think the biggest thanks we owe is to Jen, who just... delivered in a way that I don't... Do sea rats have delivered in the past? Rookie sea rats? I mean, she came in here and was just her goofy, oftentimes nasty self.
And it was just really, really entertaining delivery.
I gotta tell you. Yes, you very eloquently said. For that reasons and many, many more, amazing season 14, Knots.
Alright, so we pick it. We... There's a lot of meanwhiles on this episode.
I can start us off if you like.
Well, I'm just saying for you and for the audience, it's kind of all over the place. But we pick up with some of the fabulous drag queen on her way to the boat.
Pei Lai Lo.
I thought it was Febano.
I thought it was Pei Lai Lo. Could be.
Could be that? Could be pay-lie low?
I thought it was pay-lie low.
Because it couldn't be that, I don't think.
I don't know. And then flight attendant Caitlin, and they get picked up for that dinner. And when I saw this duo, Dylan, originally, I said, well, they're not here to host a How I Met Your Mother trivia night. You know what I mean?
No, no, no. They're here to fuck shit up, okay? This assistant is, I mean, she's really... What is this saying? She's got life by the balls? I mean, this woman is walking around trying to bang sea rats until 5 o'clock in the morning, waking up and just sucking down more booze. She is a delight.
Absolutely, sir. Now, the first thing of note, and I caught it, which is upon Caitlin joining the vessel, Joe greets her, and he takes the time to explain the cut on his face. And I want to say this about Joe. Because that's what was one of the most amazing things about this show in this journey was Joe showed Joe like there's Joe was Joe through and through this episode. Like, sure, a couple episodes, you kind of forget the old Joe the hoe, but no, he's still there.
He's still there. He'll still tell his boss who we also hate. Man, I miss the guy that didn't have kids. He meant it. That was the drunken Joe the hoe.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that's still that... What is it called? Arrested development man-child in there.
And Joe was distracted this season by the tension with Nathan, but if he didn't have that, I know that Kaylee would have been in tears by episode 14, 15. He just didn't have enough focus. He couldn't commit to that lane. But Joe does go.
Up to this... Joe goes up to.
This assistant who is here to get fucked up. Um... And he says he apologizes for his face that he knows to oddly many women is not anything that he needs to apologize for. So he slammed the game right away.
Here's a test. If it was a dude that popped in, would you have apologized to that dude? No, this is you. You cannot help but flirt with women. You need attention from women.
And women are awesome. So. you know um but but calm down buddy.
Um let's get to the other piece of shit on the boat who's that cooper well cat meanwhile cat chats coop up to support him because he's going the extra mile to dress up for drag that night and she's like oh you're.
No you know and he's old.
To her and you know One thing Kat has done, and she admits this later on in the episode.
Can you say all that again?
Well, you know the audience hears it. You didn't, but the audience hears it. Well, basically, he was cold to her, despite her being very supportive and warm to him. And what I have not gotten from Kat, maybe she, in the interview we're about to play, she explained it. She just did not listen to her gut. Which is, she should have let this go a long time ago.
Yeah, no.
But she did not listen to it.
She's a very young woman. And also, Cooper kind of... He got like Godzilla nuclear. The further the season went, he grew into more and more of a douchebag. And we go back to this will-I-or-won't-I kind of thing. And we've talked about this.
Break up with her.
We've all been here before, but he goes... Yeah, I'm trying to think if I need to have this conversation really at all, because we got one day left, and then I'm bringing her to go-karting with Joe, and that's going to be way too fun to have a serious conversation. So I think I'm just going to leave it alone.
Okay, here's the wonderful... When you're a dickhead on a show like Below Deck, that is, once again, just a juggernaut, this is actually your payback, Coop, is that three years from now, You may even be in a healthy relationship. Maybe you've grown some. Bravo will decide to run an all-day Saturday marathon of your season, and your fucking DMs will light up because there's a bunch of morons that watch it like that season is just happening. They'll find you, and they'll start telling you what a horrible person you are, and you'll have to relive that all over again. I've talked to a number of Sea Rats that they're like, well, I guess they're running my season today because my Instagram is blowing up. So I think I'm just going to
have to turn it off today.
Well, you know, it's the price we pay, right? It's just the price we pay. Now, Joy has to cook a ton of protein or the harem of gays upstairs. And we forgot to mention that this guy Tristan is, I don't think, a very good person. His restaurant and bar and grill... is a little bit like X2 at Six Flags. So X2 has famously been killing people for like 15 years and it has not been shut down.
People have been getting roofied at the Abbey. Like Rinna famously was like, I went to the Abbey and I, I don't know, almost died and wound up at the LA Zoo.
To be fair, they weren't trying to have sex with her. They just wanted her to fall asleep to stop talking. Yeah.
You know what? That's a really good point. So Sandy tells Joy that she stands out from all the others. And it's this kind of comment on an emotional, sleep-deprived day that can turn an employee of a yacht into just a puddle. Joy has never heard anything that validating, gratifying, or sweet before. And she starts to weep. But listen, we've got a bunch of gays upstairs that we have to feed. And we did a little look back on the season that was before we get to dinner. Because this season, they have not held back once. And we've talked about this many times. Just make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. But no, instead, they dress up as sharks and pretend to be dragons. They also make pasta for people who are super pissed off that they haven't
left the deck in two days. So they have really done it this year. Oh, yeah.
Five star service.
We are going to be doing Drag Night. Their dinner, which they love, protein skewered on a grill. And it begs the question, like, I understand wanting to be committed to your body. I understand wanting to take care of the nethers, especially when you're doing kind of like six boyfriends on one trip kind of thing. But like, If you're enjoying a dinner on a yacht that's just chicken on a stick, that's not fucking luxury. That's not enjoyment to me. Okay.
Like I agree.
One out here. It's just crazy.
Okay. When you're, if you're Tristan, which is you probably, um, you've probably experienced about all the things that a human being can experience on the planet, right? Uh, immense wealth, all the clubs, all the drugs. Now you're of a certain age.
I guarantee you he has not hunted large and dangerous game.
Probably not, but he probably would. But I'd say he's too shallow for this, but I'd say an experience now would not be the skewers or the protein. It would be who you surround yourself with to actually have a real good time drinking on the deck at night with a glass of wine and kicking it up, sharing old stories and saying, look what we've accomplished so far.
He doesn't have those.
He doesn't have those.
Yeah.
I mean, they're great too. Don't get me wrong.
They're lovely, lovely assholes. I mean, some of them are nice. Okay, so we get to the drag show with Pei Lai Lo and her two helpers, Mariela. Oh, no, no, we have three helpers. Mariela, Cooperella, and I believe Jezebel was just Jen? Mm-hmm.
Okay. I have to tell you, Coop makes a really fucking homely drag queen. He really does.
I agree. I thought that she was hideous.
Mm-hmm.
So the drag thing, they do their thing.
No real standout moments.
No. No. No. No. Why do I have written down Joy gets ready to rip some shots?
I don't think she rips shots.
Joe gets ready to rip some shots.
Oh, okay. So that's a minute later.
They're sucking it out of his navel.
Okay. So after dinner, Joy makes protein snacks for all the snarky gays. And then she goes to bed. And that's when Caitlin looks for Joe the hoe. And she finds him, of course. And she wants to do body shots. And because his tip depends on it, he allows it, but only five times. Now, to be fair to Joe the hoe.
His tip depends on it.
That's right. And he'd have a pretty good argument in court that he's pretty consistent. All customers are welcome to Joe's body. Oh, yeah. You know what I mean?
Are you kidding me? He is a sizzler buffet. His torso is a sizzler buffet. Homeless people can drink and eat off of it. Okay.
Well, not, no, not homeless people.
Yeah.
Well, the night ends with Caitlin in search of Joe wandering around the boat till I think you said five in the morning. I think that's about right.
And she refers to her Nathan. She says, I need you to find him. I need you to show me to his bed.
Now she referred to herself as a cougar. I take a real issue. I take real issue with this women in their mid thirties, which I believe is probably her age referring to themselves as a cougar is, is not a thing. And also I don't want to be crass here, but in a lot of porn, they refer to certain women as cougars in porn, you know, Just it's all wrong here. First off, I don't like the term cougar because it's I don't think that fits either. But women in their 50s.
Why? Because cougars are scary.
I just don't. They're hunters. But all right. Here's what a cougar is. A woman in their 50s trying to bang a guy that's 30 years younger than them. That's the term.
Okay. Okay. You know, thank you so much for bringing this up because I've oft thought of the late that we're really, really just stretching this word thin. I mean, people are cuckers when they, like you mentioned, mid thirties, we're not talking cuckers here. Okay. Who's the lady in the graduate that does the stuff?
That's a cucker. Okay.
Yeah. Get out of here.
You know, that was a, what's his face? His wife. Who's who wrote space balls?
Uh, Murph Griffin. OK, so can we get to the next one? Well, I do want to say that Nathan, despite hating Joe with all of his heart, goes, I cannot I cannot lead this woman to his bed. That is a bridge too far.
Well, that would I think he understands there's a line where with diminishing returns and also it would affect him as well. Had he done that, that would have hurt him. If he could have found a way to do it where it wouldn't have hurt him, he would have done it.
No, he would have been fired, but... Yeah, I was just joking around. All right, so let's get to the next day. Lee is coming to see Sandy. And listen, Sandy has... I think we've really turned a corner with Sandy. And I think Sandy herself has really turned a corner.
Yeah, she cut the shit with her bullshit. She did.
We....
Are like barometers of bullshit. When you're being a phony on TV, we've watched enough TV, as most of the planet has, but this is why we're good at what we do. We see fake, and then we mock it, and she was being fake for a very long time.
Right. But she has grown. She sat back in that chair, and she's very comfy. Leah arriving... Listen... I think it's beautiful. Their love. They do really seem to be in love. A sturdy, a sturdy, lovely couple. I just not, we have red wine to throw on people. Okay. And Sandy will be, you know, featured prominently enough for me this episode.
Look, they, you got to find a balance when you're editing a show, you have enough disgusting, uh, uh, misogyny on the boat. You got to, You've got to balance it with a little love, a little heart.
Now, the lady wakes up in the morning, as we mentioned, immediately gets to boozing. And the hair of the dog, effective tool for remedying the effects of alcohol poisoning or not?
Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because, you know, when you're hungover, you are laden with anxiety. And one way to kick anxiety is just to fucking fire up some booze through your nervous system.
I do think that is the single most effective measure. Because people think, oh, you go get greasy food, you go smoke pot. No, no, no. Or vodka on ice and just drink it and stare at the wall. You'll feel better.
Then go back to sleep.
All right, now we're getting into the docking here.
And this is where Nate reflects back on the season, the ups, the downs. And he tells us, and this was like a little wink to the camera, he says, one thing he knows about himself, and this is a direct quote, is he can go through some shit and always come out the other side. And he's not lying. When he was getting ready to go to jail, he went through customs and then landed in another country. So that's technically going through some shit and coming out on the other side, in this case, another country.
So I'd love that you zeroed in on this because I did as well. Given what we know, even if we didn't know what we know, one of the most empty things we've heard on this show in some time, because there are a lot of platitudes. uttered by the sea rats, you know, you got to kind of cling on to those things that can kind of crystallize your direction in life. But Nathan saying, no matter what, I'm going to go through shit. It's like, okay, so you, so you're running from the law and you're now, you know, um, cooking hot dogs somewhere. What does that mean that you went through it and you came up the, like, are you still going?
He always comes out on the other side.
Yeah. Okay.
But I would say he wasn't lying. He's technically on the other side.
Right. Yeah. No, it's a super good point. So Joe and Cooper are. There's an enmeshing with these two that is bizarre. And I'm not talking about the homoerotic undertones between the two of them. That just happens with with close guy friends. But their level of intimacy, talking about getting rings, talking about the brotherhood that they have with one another, yeah, it's very, very odd.
Well, also bonding over their fucking dads cashing out when they were real young.
Yeah, and that's where we get to the Sea Rat sad scale being the cause of this. So Joe was abandoned by his father, so he's looking for male companionship, and Cooper, it's like, I don't know if that's true, but I also don't care.
I find the foundations of relationships whether it be you know uh bonding over actual uh relationships not just friendships a bonding on uh almost exclusively trauma is not a that's not a good glue to lay down as your foundation.
Yeah but you know i just heard Pete Holmes.
Oh, your uncle touched you too.
Oh, wow. I heard Pete Holmes say recently, he was quoting another author, but he said that, you know, when you fall in love with somebody, it's not your interests that align. Your wounds are reflected in the person that you love. And I think that's so beautiful.
And maybe I'm stupid.
The immense drama is just a little bit too much to bond over, but who knows?
Pete, this is why you never hit, buddy.
No, he hit. He hit in his own way. He's a beautiful human being. He's a beautiful human being.
Not a household name.
All right.
Not a household name. Not a household name. You're a loser.
You're a loser. You're a loser. Loser. So let's get to the guests leaving. They thank Joe and Cooper specifically. And while I was not a fan of how snooty these people were, and while I am going to just be uncool and say it's kind of inappropriate to use people's torsos that way, they did tip very, very well.
And we've said many times, many times, I wouldn't necessarily turn Cooper's nipples into a Hershey's kiss, but if you pay for it, And it's a Sea Rat. It's fine.
That's right. Yeah.
So before we get there, though, the Sea Rats all chat. Jen is not having a good time, and she is ready to never hear Luke's name ever again. She is, Pat, dare I ask you to venture into the mind of Jen here? Why is she so hung up on Luke? Because she mentions again that she's not going to ever see him again, apropos of nothing, and then says, I'm in my 20s, he's pushing 40s. It just seems like she's very, very preoccupied.
Well, not being a woman, I'm just speaking out of my ass, but women generally with intimacy, giving a tug job, for us, it's, you know, it could have been a raccoon or a dog doing that down there, you know? But for a woman, that's a very intimate act because they don't do it as often.
Well, not a raccoon because the paws are too small and scratchy. And not a dog because the paws get a little bit too dry.
Also, I think both those are illegal. Well, no, not that.
But there are plenty of other creatures with smooth palms or appendages that are– you get the point, okay?
Fine.
A chimpanzee. Right.
Oh, that, that could go south quick. Let me move on. The point is, is women, um, I think they, uh, take those kinds of acts and I believe they had sex too. Um, as, uh, they take it apart. And so when he just treated it like he did, which was very cruel, um, that, that bothered her and it stuck with her. And especially with, um, I don't know, 19 cameras filming it. Um, I can see how someone could, uh, Hold the grudge.
Yeah, spoiler alert. Hate to break it to you. You are going to see him again. We get to the final tip meeting of the season. It is $ 35, 000. Did we have 50? Yeah, we did. It was with.
That guy who told Nathan he thought he was a dick.
Again, just tip well. That's all you need to do. Now, Leah's coming to the boat and going to be coming to dinner, and then Sandy's going to cook her dinner, and she's going to need some pointers. Okay. All right, got it. You two crazy kids have a good time. So Gail and Nathan know. Gail and Nathan, well, yes, Nathan is texting Gail because they're both getting ready to leave this hellscape that they have signed away six weeks to.
Okay.
Yeah, you can't be too judgmental because, you know, everybody can quarterback on Monday morning. But this is a horrible idea. And I think the two of them are very, very grateful that it's over. More so Gail than Nathan. Gail is very happy for this to be over.
I think that I was with my two kids today. My wife and I. Oh, sorry, Dale. I was with my two kids today. It was one of the worst Sundays I've had in a long time. Quentin was an absolute fucking dickhead. just crying all day, fighting with his sister. I was like, God, if I could drop him off at the fucking fire station, I would. Not for... Just for like a week.
And I knew that you were going to say that. I knew that that wasn't forever.
Because you don't... I mean, the cops would... My family would be asking where he is.
Right. But if you could get two days, just... Fire station. Just fire station.
The point I'm making is Gail essentially was left alone with that kid. With no help. I don't know if we can.
Just start doing a parent corner on some shows. I mean, I guess that's why we do APS. But Lucy tonight was just... I mean, what a little asshole. Just flipping out. Spitting food all over the place. Screaming, crying. She wants the cat. She doesn't want the cat. It's just like... Somebody commented on Patreon, you can't negotiate with terrorists, and we really appreciate those words, and it's so true. They are little terrorists. They are. So good luck to Gail.
So Joe and Cooper are flipping each other's ass cheeks in front of one another.
This is prepping to go out to the restaurant for the final dinner.
Yeah, they're prepping to go to the final dinner, and Sandy and Leah... They come for a very, very brief moment and then leave, and then we rip some shots and we get to work. Now, Sandy and Leah have a little dinner back at the boat. Joy has made them a pan of rice-a-roni and old scallops, and they are pigs and shit. Now, Nathan at dinner gives a little halftime speech. just to tell everybody that he's proud of the fucking adversity they overcame and the unity in this group of guys. And Kaylee is moved to damn near tears. She goes, it was a pleasure to meet you, and your strength is something to behold, really.
Joe is not happy. Okay. This rubs Joe the wrong way. Joe's clearly wasted, so there's several things going on here. He is claiming that the real reason he's mad is that Nathan had spoken many untruths in that very short speech. But I believe he's absolutely upset that perhaps Kaylee had fallen under Nate's spell of bullshit. His words, not mine.
And so this is where you get to see the Joe of the past, where he's mad at a girl and he's clearly drunk. He's being a dick.
Yeah, he was... I'm trying to get away from this lightsaber right now. He was... This is what happens. Joe's evening is a cautionary tale for those who want to booze it up in a major way. Because this can be such a fun night. It's your last night. You've worked your ass off. Let's just not go into the red.
right?
Like, let's just maintain a 7-8. Let's just have a fun time. But no, it's gotta be the last night is the occasion to go all the way, and before you know it, you're sitting on the steps crying, weeping, okay, as Cooper comes and consoles you. You don't know this person, okay? That's a bad night.
Yeah, this is another issue with these dumb cigarettes, is the drinking before, the pre-drinking before they go out. Like, Why not just a glass of wine? Like old Patty's fucked up a few times. Don't get me wrong. One time on air. But it's like you're going out. You're going to have a bunch of cameras there. Who knows how many times you're going to get to see Kaylee.
And this is how you behave. You fucking get ripped up.
Ripped up. He has no chance of bedding Kaylee this evening. He screams at her and then he lays on the floor crying. Um, so Kaylee is not happy with this. I have no, I have no idea why he's so upset with her. It's just the booze talking.
Um, I think he did just didn't like his girl talking with his, his, his fucking enemy.
Yeah. She's not your girl. Okay. You guys are fucking sea rats on a boat. Um, Jen gets her flowers from Nate and Asha. And Jen, I think, deserves her flowers, not for changing her behavior for one charter and not being awful for just one charter, but for, as I said, just entertaining the masses this season. I would have her back in a fucking heartbeat.
They would never. The audience would rebel. As much as we like a crazy, deranged cast member, we only want one season of that.
Oh, no, I would. I would take Jen in a heartbeat. OK, so we got a lot to go through.
OK, so Joe texts Luke and Luke is going to arrive in disguise. But meanwhile, we have our breakup. Coop flirts away with some randos at the club. Cat gets upset. What follows is one of the quickest breakups I've seen in recent memory on reality TV. I think he goes, well, we have Calcutta. And she goes, yeah, that's not happening.
And he goes, well, I'm not pursuing anything. And she goes, well, then it's fucking done. And then uh, we hear Kat say, look, I blame myself. I blame him. I agree with her assessment. And, uh, I think we're all done there.
Yeah. I mean, he's handing out his Instagram to people at the club, at which point, um, you know, that's like, that's like, That's like God turning into a burning bush and going, hey, come on, this is crazy. You guys are getting treated like shit. I'll split the ocean in half or something. Imagine if Moses was like, I know, but I just love being here. This is a very loud message. He does not give a fucking shit about you.
Move on. That's frozen. So I want to talk. No. By the way.
Wouldn't this be a great time to put that interview in here?
Yeah. You know what? Let's, let's throw the cat interview. Well, this is, yeah, this is cat talking about talking about stuff the whole season. We ask her a lot of questions. Enjoy this. Okay. Today we are joined by the, um, the secret romantic herself.
Um, one cat from this Mary season of.
Below Deck Med is joining us. Kat, hello. Thank you for joining us.
Thanks for having me.
We have so many questions. Our fans. Do you want to tell her how rude our fans are?
Oh, the barnacles. That's what we call them. They're very rude.
Yeah.
Well, they're not cute. They're actually mean. Yeah.
It's a kind of.
Yeah.
It's a mob of. pitchforks, torches.
That's how I'm picturing.
Yeah.
But you're, you've been a sweetheart on the show. You've been nothing but good vibes and kindness. So I don't think that we'll have too much animosity.
No, no, no.
If we were talking to Jen, I think the questions would be a little bit different.
No, no.
I'm not burned at the stake just yet.
No, these are, I looked through the questions. I just copy paste them and I have to kind of As I'm reading them out loud, I generally will censor them.
And we start the show off, every interview we start off by asking the same question. Please tell us about the 1911 explosion in Nova Scotia.
Halifax.
I knew it.
It's the 1911. I hope I'm getting that right. I'm on too short.
Off mic, we were talking about a ruinous explosion. History test.
It's a history test.
Go ahead. No, why don't we just do our jumping off point as we started here with that whole secret relationship?
Yeah.
Barry Braveman Barnacle says, let's keep this a secret is definitely a fuck boy move. Ouch.
Okay. Yeah.
But did Coop have a point that it's annoying having everybody on a boat discuss your relationship?
I understand where he's coming from. And, you know, I felt similarly, like it's like, it's a small space and everyone's always asking you like, Oh, what's happening? What's the new news? Like, is he treating you well? Like blah, blah, blah. So there's not much space to like, you know, there's nowhere to like have space unless you leave physically leave the boat and go on a date. So, but him using that as an excuse to keep me a secret is not that valid in my opinion.
Well, that would lead us to this.
I just want to apologize to everybody for that robot voice that came on and said, recording in progress.
That is amateur.
I'm so sorry about that.
Um, so yes.
So Cooper, um, where, and, and if this is, um, uh, we didn't come up with a safe word, but I will just call it Jimmy Choo. If we're, if we're getting into any, um, uncomfortable explosion.
Yeah. Halifax explosion.
If we're getting into any explosive territory, please just say that you can't answer it. But, um, To us, I think that we were protective over Kat just because Kat seems like such a– just a genuinely wonderful person and it seemed to us– Pat was more of a pig than I was when he was a young man. But to us, it seems very, very obvious that it was an F-U-C-K-B-O-I kind of move.
Move, but beneath that move was Cooper, a genuine southern gentleman. or was that an act and was he an absolute douche ducky.
Yeah how is is he an actual southern gentleman cat or a douchebag.
I think that he presented himself as as a southern gentleman like to like like how viewers saw it like he's like why the rules dating i'm a mother's boy you know i come i don't know like he's like yeah but then his true colors came.
Out yes they did and i think he's.
Just a in a time in his life where he's a player. Like he just didn't care.
Yeah.
Yeah. And we talked about it on this episode. We're very excited for, um, the gassing up of Cooper to, um, come to a popping point because Cooper's, uh, yeah, the Instagram account is going up. He's going to really be feeling himself in the future. So we're looking forward to seeing that. And I hope that the two of you, um, are, uh, amenable. Um, okay.
Anna Andalus, because we've got to get through this Cooper stuff, asks why Cooper thought, or maybe you even thought, being in that locker when the mics were on, did you guys think that they wouldn't hear.
You in there?
Was that about, did you truly think that this would be secretive by you guys being in there?
We just knew that no one would go in there because there's like, I feel like it's the only, like, untapped place in the boat. Anywhere else in the boat, like, someone could just walk in. And I feel like that to us is like, oh, it's a little, it's an escape. Besides, like, literally walking off the boat.
Right.
But even then, if we walked in the boat, a camera could just follow us.
Right. So you went into the bomb shelter.
The bomb, exactly.
Yeah, to have a little romantic conversation.
Exactly.
About where you two stood together. Okay. Kat, I'm sure we have fan questions about Jen, but I do want to ask Kat about Jen really quickly. I guess there are like general questions we could ask about where you ultimately landed up or landed with one another. We will see what unfolds. But were you– when did the red flag start popping with Jen? I know that you were extremely supportive and patient with her neuroses and paranoia throughout the entire season, what with her animosity. an unflinching vengeance towards Kaylee. But when she starts hitting on Cooper, was that kind of a breaking point? Or did you always know that you're dealing with somebody who's, let's say a challenging character?
Well, right off the bat, it was like negative and toxic from day one. Like it was just complaint after complaint, but like knowing I'm going to share like a small, like living space there, I think by coping, I was like, you know what? It's actually okay. Cause what you do as a human, like you to cope with like, all the negativity you like kind of convince yourself it's fine.
Right.
But I think that it, it only progressively got worse and worse. The point where I was like, this is actually, I need to say something or this is going to like drive me insane. And her flirting with her flirting with Cooper, like basically in front of my face was so awful just to walk into all the time. Like I knew it was going on because I, I would walk into a room and see it.
Right.
Yeah, and she was very subtle with it too. Oh my gosh, you're a messy sleeper? It's not going to work out. Okay, Jen.
Okay. Yeah, it was brutal.
Well, let me ask you this with respect to Jen. We'll keep it on the positive side for now. Were there positive aspects of Jen in that work environment?
Yeah, me and her would laugh all the time. Me and her have a similar sense of humor. So she's really funny and also chronically online. So that's where we like, why we clicked at the start. Also we're similar in ages. Like she was 22, I was 23. So we just like got along. Like it says like pop culture, like Tik TOK stuff. So that stuff we like would always like jump off of each other. But then when we started working together, it was absolutely atrocious. Like she was just like, yeah. Like it was just working with like the plague. Like she would just like walk on the boat and be like, she's angry. I'm like, why are you so angry all the time? Like stop.
It's, it's tough working around someone who's, uh, Negative all the time.
Yeah.
Or a complainer, perpetual complainer. Yeah. It brings bad energy. All right. So here's a question. And this is from Beth Lander.
Hi, Beth.
Do you think Jen should have been reprimanded along with Luke for not making sure that those sheets were washed? I'm curious what the protocol here is. We have to talk about this. Serial killers, I don't know if you knew this, they like to keep artifacts of their victims, jewelry, hair strands. Was Jen not washing those sheets to keep the memory of that handjob alive? Well, actually, answer the first question. I'm sorry. What's the protocol?
Don't answer that lewd handjob question, Kat.
I definitely– like obviously we worked in laundry. Well, I worked in laundry. So I just assumed like someone was going to wash it. Even the fact that she told me, I was like, why did you tell me this? So now I know.
Right.
So she kind of like involved me on the secrets. And I was like, this is awful. But I do think that Luke should just grabbed the sheets.
Oh, yeah. Yeah.
I was like mortified. I do think Luke should have been fired. I think he just should have been fired because he was also I don't really like him.
He's not like that. He seemed rather inexperienced for that job. And simultaneously, he was an F boy and emotionally immature.
Not sure about how yeah go ahead.
Cat she isn't your boss's sheet so you should be fired period right yeah maybe i think jen just said something to actually have them washed earlier, but I think that honestly fell on blue.
So when you're doing the laundry, it's up to the people in their particular cabins to actually then bring their dirty laundry linens to you guys. You guys don't go in there like cleaning ladies. Yes.
We don't strip the beds. Whenever they want their bed washed, they genuinely just give them.
The bad because guys can be disgusting so a guy like i think in when i was like 25 i don't i don't think i washed my sheets for.
A year yeah no i mean um they're they're if you go into a young man's uh bedroom there will be for example fire sauce stains on the duvet cover there also could be semen but the thing about luke is that he is much older than that so leaving um uh kind of Crystallizing semen on your boss's sheets is one of the most unbelievable things we've been watching the show for a long time that we've ever seen.
So Luke could have easily post handjob just stripped the sheets immediately, brought them in and said, hey, these are dirty.
Easily.
Okay.
Easily. Even off hours too. He could have just like dropped them and I wouldn't even know.
Or he could have just– even just spilled a soda on top of them.
We, that's what we were saying. Just spill a coffee on the sheets and just get them out of there. It doesn't have to become, um, can we ask you what, what do you think? Not, not to make you plumb the psychology of a lodestone or a cinder block for too long, but what, what do you think? Why do you think Luke waited three days to Well, what is going on there?
I think he literally has no brain cells up there.
Okay.
So funny. Cause he has all these riddles and philosophical sayings to think he's intellectually smarter than you. And I'm just like, you're not right. I'm literally 23 at the time. And I was like, like literally like a high school kid would have known to wash their sheets. Wouldn't have even done that at all.
He, much like Tom Sandoval, has been propelled through life on good looks. Really? Sure. So he's gotten away with a lot.
And even that's up to interpretation.
Fair enough.
I said it.
No, it's a torso thing. It's a torso thing.
Maybe, yeah.
It's a robust torso.
Listener Louis G. Day Benedictus.
Hey, Louis G. Day Benedictus.
Hey, Louis. Cool it with the long name bullshit.
Jesus.
Jesus.
We've talked about this before. You cannot attack the surnames of the fans.
It's a long name. I know.
Yeah.
Hey, Louie, uh, you said you were friends with Jen in interviews. Has that opinion changed now that you've seen things she said and done behind your back?
Um, no, I'm still in contact with her, but I mean, the season's still airing. No, I'm just kidding. Um, I feel like I'd like, yeah, I just like, I, I don't know why I was so like, I think I just have a soft spot for Jen. Um, And I can't explain why.
Yeah.
But I do like her.
She's young, too. We were all idiots when we were that young. Yeah, yeah.
We're all idiots. But like we talked about today, there are certain people that do have a corrosive spirit that is tough to fix, young or old.
You spray a little double D40 on there, man.
Yeah, we'll see. We'll see what happens with Jen. We wish her all the best.
All right. Moving on. What was your perspective on Nathan as the bosom and his conflict with Joe the hoe? Like, could you, was it palpable in the air?
Honestly, I had no idea either past history going onto the boat, but I, everyone on board could sense attention. Like it was literally what could fill a room. So I was just like, cause they worked on the same team. I was like, this is just terrible vibes. And even being close to Cooper, like I could see how it in fact affected him. even like, especially more when Luke left, when the team was even like more of a skeleton of a team. So yeah, it was just tough to see like being such a small department and that creates a lot of tension on board.
This is my question. Max is a lunatic, right?
Okay. All right.
He is so, he's just a character. I can't even, I've never seen anything like him. Like he's like right out of a cartoon.
Yeah.
I mean, he, he, Most people either fall for the scam by sending money or they just ignore it. You're referring to the kidnapping. Yes, the kidnapping. Max buys tickets to fly to the Middle East. That is not in the multiple choice. He just penciled that one in, which is pretty.
I had no idea what was happening. At this point in the season, everything was so insane. I was like, yes, of course there's some mafia crime happening in the Middle East that's connected to somebody on board like honestly i was like that makes sense like honestly you got to the point of season where like everyone was everything that could go wrong in charge season was going wrong but i just feel so bad for me that's such an awful situation to go through especially when you're like in the middle of the sea and i honestly have like no i no idea like i was just like what's happening okay.
Well we'll get there we don't want to get anyone in trouble or spoil anything i I cannot believe that Max's father was being kidnapped in Tunisia.
It has to be a fucking scam. It's a possibility. His dad had questionable business dealings. His dad was sketchy.
All right. We'll get there next week. I think it was you go to the grocery store and buy a Target gift card and give us the number on the back, and that would.
Have– I said to hang up on the guy. He didn't even raise him. Yeah, okay. See you later, pops.
I had no idea.
All right.
Okay.
Can I say something real quickly? Sure, of course. One of our favorite things to do on the show is to just gush over Aisha. What was what was Aisha like as a chief stew? And what was it like when she had to step above deck to help the boys? Because it seemed like you guys did pretty well with Kaylee.
But yeah, just talk on Aisha's importance on the boat.
Oh my gosh she's just like the best human ever like in out of like as a chief steward as just like a friend she's just like truly just the best mentor my life like even in my personal life i look up to her like beyond just.
So do we so do we oh.
Just the freaking best man and she's just like so honest and so authentically herself like it's not an act at all like she's genuinely just a good funny person yeah and obviously it's like it was the middle of the charter season so like how like like not having her there was, it was a loss that we felt on the team. Like, but obviously she had to go on deck to help the boys.
Yeah.
But Kaylee stepped up and crushed it. Like, like I just said about Kaylee, Kaylee's a workforce. Like she can generally do anything. She like is so insanely talented at anything she does.
What would the season have looked like if Jen was appointed second stew over Kaylee?
It wouldn't have worked. That could have never happened.
Interesting.
In any world that wouldn't have happened.
Well, let me ask you this. Do you think Jen in any way, while Kaylee had the chief stew position, do you think not sabotage would be the word, but held back things that she could have done to have helped Kaylee?
I think at that point of the season, like all the complaining and negativity and stuff, it does not help. And Kaylee just, just was a detriment to the whole team and just turned like, just slacking off. Like I heard it was like, yeah, like, Like, you missed a plate, missed a fork. Well, like, just grab it then.
Right.
You know, it's a team. It's not like, we're like, it's an individual talent show.
Like, I don't know.
I just think she saw it because she came from a toxic workplace. She was like, well, this must be toxic too.
Right.
We refer to it, and Pat coined this term, the game of oars, where certain members of the crew get into this politicking contest about the hierarchy of No offense. I mean you guys are chartering yachts. It's not– we're.
Not– It's not– we're not saving lives.
No, we're not at the Pentagon or anything like that.
So yeah.
It does feel like that at some points. You're like, oh my god. This is like– because it gets so intense and you are isolated from like the rest of the world.
Yeah.
So it is your own world. So the hierarchy is– It is.
It is our whole world. And it's like literally the captain is like the president of the US.
Right, right, right.
The captain is the president.
Yeah.
Well, it's framed that way.
It's like really cool. But like, yeah, I can see where it can get to your head. But you just have to like touch grass a bit and be like, no, we're working as a team. Like this isn't like one person against the other.
Right.
We're making porn stars and printing out Wikipedia sheets on whatever fucking town we're in.
It's not like throwing planets on the table and calling it a decor.
Right.
Right. All right.
Are you comfortable playing a spirited game of Mary F.
Kill?
Yes, I love that game.
Okay, now this is going to have a little spin on it because it's going to be Mary F.
Kill.
We're going to have four submissions for you.
No, that's not. We've done this before. Hold on. That's not how Mary F.
Kill works. It's three submissions.
It's four.
It's three. The fourth is you can never see this person again. So Mary F. Kill and then never.
Disappear.
You never have to see this person again or don't want to see this person again. Here are the four names.
So what's the game called?
Mary F. Kill, Never See Again.
Okay.
Oh, that's the fourth one. Okay.
You got it.
Okay.
Okay. Cooper, Joe, Nate, Max.
No.
Oh, my God. What a lineup. What a starring lineup.
Who did you want to put in there? Cooper, Joe, Nate, Luke. Oh, well, I thought she'd probably say never see him.
Yeah, but now we have some new information that might make that game a little bit more interesting.
So who is this? Luke?
It's Luke, Nathan, Joe, and Cooper.
You're making this very complicated.
No, you're making this very complicated.
It's Mary, fuck, kill.
You added never see again.
All right, just be quiet. To the fourth thing.
I'm so confused. Okay, I'm going to marry Joe.
You'd marry Joe.
Yeah, I had a feeling.
Look at my options.
I had a feeling. Okay.
Blown away, but you have to listen to that voice.
Okay.
Who are the other?
We can have them live separately.
All right. Who would you have sex with? Okay.
Who's the other option?
Cooper, Nate, or Max?
Oh, my God.
Sex with- Murderers, a row of zeros.
Sir Max. Sir Max.
Max.
Okay. And then who are you going to kill and who do you never want to see again?
Kill Nathan and I never want to see Cooper again.
That's it, everybody.
Kat, thank you so much for joining us. You have been so fun.
To watch this season.
Instagram, where do people follow you?
Instagram, Katrina A. Johnston.
Katrina A. Johnston. We salute you. We hope to see you on Seasons in the Future. Have a great rest of your week. Thank you so much.
You too.
Nice to meet you both. Nice to meet you too.
Okay.
Bye. Okay. Um, she is a delight. I love cat.
Um, great.
Thank you for, thank you for coming on the show. Now, um, Luke gets to this club and, um, did you ever watch a rest of development? Because he has Job energy. He, he has Job energy when he's walking into this, this place, he says, He keeps talking about the gesture that this is. He loves the gesture. I show up, and boom, she sees me. The wig-beard combo, it's all so bizarre. It makes me wonder if he is from this planet, or, yeah, I'm confused.
Something is wrong with him. We did a post that wasn't even about him. He got in our comments and said, I've been called many things, many times. I could even hear his voice. And I was like, that doesn't even make fucking sense. We're not even talking about you, you fucking idiot. But anyway, Luke himself, he reveals himself and we can feel Jen's hatred permeate through that room the second he enters. And Joy has the opposite reaction, of course.
And she's pretty happy to see Luke. He's showing up for her. And at this point in Joy's journey, I hate to say this about her, but I feel like she would have had phone sex with the Green River Killer. Unless he was a smoker. I don't think she's a fan of smokers. Yeah, she just needs attention. But not from Messi.
No, no, no, no. Um, we wish, uh, joy all the best and we wish her better, um, than Luke, but, but I think that she's probably figured it out by now. Um, Jen walks to the bar and says, I need a glass of red wine. And in this moment, I'm like, my God, she is really going through it. She's just ordering a glass of house red at a nightclub and she's going to suck it back. Like that's dark, but no.
I thought that's where she was going.
She's going to use it as a ballistic.
I have to know. I don't think this came. This was not some kind of self-inspiration. She had to have seen this in a movie. She had to have. It was just so direct, on a mission, new plan. You know you can ruin the guy's night because there's nothing like red wine. It stinks.
It stains. It's Kate Hudson energy. Yeah.
Good move, by the way.
Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts energy, and it's a flawless move. I mean, he can do nothing. He looks ridiculous. He's wet. He looks ridiculous. And Joy, in a shocking turn of events, actually chooses Joy, or chooses Jen to go and comfort. And she's very kind of French general about the entire thing. She's very like, dust yourself off. Come on.
But it's very, very sweet. I believe... joy was just in a way using Luke's, she needed attention, but once he showed up, that was kind of the, in a way it fulfilled the circle. Now I've seen you again. And, uh, yeah, I'm going to return the pants, uh, back to, back to Marshall's. I, I don't, I actually don't want you.
Yeah. It's the circle of Luke. She's exchanging the pants back. This is how it ends. Okay.
I doubt they ever saw each other again after this.
They probably did. I think she just wants to have some sex. So we head back to the boat, and poor Kat is very, very upset. I feel horrible because she's such a sweetheart. But the real conflict here is Nathan and Joe, who... This whole thing gets kicked off with, you know, to be fair to Nathan, Nathan's just standing there and we've seen this bozo tie 50 ties or two. Actually, we've seen him get like really belligerent a lot. But on this night, he is where you should be at.
We're having a good time. We got a little buzz going, but we're not fucking shit faced. Joe is he starts nestling up to him. Talking about how beautiful his eyes are. and how they match his jacket. And Nathan is rightly like, okay, I got it. You're shit-faced. And this is when Joe, for some fucking reason, brings up Gail. But he brings up Gail and says, I wish you didn't have kids.
It would be so much easier.
I have the direct quote. I have the direct quote because I think it's worth analyzing it. It's exactly how it was said. He said, It would be so much easier if you weren't a father.
Okay. Okay. It's one of the most psychotic fucking things to say.
But remember, what's that old saying? It's not even old. A drunk man says what the sober man feels.
I know, but okay, so that makes it even worse. So the sober man is feeling Regret and sadness that his buddy chose fatherhood over their short-term tryst as bros. It's crazy.
Well, the point we've been making all season is because I find the audience or people that watch TV or movies, there's always this black and white type of choosing a side. With this, they're both bad.
Yeah. Yeah.
The side is you're on this side. They're both on the other side. Cause they're both fucking image for men.
Yeah.
One of them is also worse.
It's really crazy that these two didn't beat the shit out of each other this season. Like honestly, bravo for the restraint. Cause one of you was going to get punched. Um, now they, they do their typical chest puffing and Nathan says, don't talk about my family. Um, really, really leaning into the family and the fatherhood role. You know, as we mentioned, he did get through customs. And he came out the other side.
The other side.
And let's see.
And on that other side, he hasn't seen his son, Caden, for, I don't know, two months. He's a family man, though.
Don't talk about his son.
Don't talk. Don't talk.
So.
these human beings.
Nathan, Nathan walks off and Joe's hits down with Asia and Kaylee, you know, it's still like Joe's, I don't want to be crass, but it's almost like Joe is made love to Kaylee. And now he's free to just completely act like a fucking idiot in front of her because it, do you not want that again? Do you more on, I mean, what is wrong with you? Okay.
Um, I think it's just that he's fucking drunk, and then you see him act out as who he really is.
Right, which is he tries to lie, and Aisha being the, you know.
Love it.
Just the straight shooter that she is goes, Joe, I love you, but you're just lying right now. You're full of shit. So this guy Joe hated Nathan's girlfriend because she pulled Nathan away from a four-week relationship he had with him. And is now wishing that he hadn't chosen fatherhood, one of the great speed shoots and markers of a male life over him and their relationship. And it's really, really sad stuff. And this is why dad's you just gotta you gotta stay at the house you gotta stay at the.
House yeah i love when kaylee tries to explain to asia that joe's dad abandoned him and that's why he's the way he is and then asia pauses and is like.
And well she goes she goes i am yeah maybe yeah that's yeah possibly take a look around So we rise for the next day, and Kat is not going to Dubrovnik. I'm so thrilled that she said, yeah, you guys have fun sucking each other off. I mean, like, you know, I'm not saying they're actually going to. I'm just saying they're going to horse around, you know. Anyways, Aisha and Joe rekindle the next day, and Joe goes, man, you know what? After thinking about it, She might be right.
I might have been lying for these past few years. Massey leaves. He says he's willing to pay someone to make him look like Luke so that he can have sex with Joy or something like that. I love Massey. Then Kat leaves, cold shoulders the fuck out of Cooper, and leaves with a fire line. The only person to come farther than her is Luke, which was fantastic.
Nice line.
To be fair to her, we're not sure about the trajectory of that squiz. It could have dribbled out like a leaky faucet. And in that sense, I would say that Kat grew much more than him. Or came farther. Okay, so Jen, thank you for your service. She learned that she really likes herself.
I'm glad someone does.
Yeah.
I think that was the lesson.
That was the lesson she took away.
I think I'm going to let it breathe for a little while because there's no fucking shot in hell. She'll ever see herself on Bravo again. And then I'm going to reach out and I want to get an.
Interview with her.
I want to talk to her so badly.
Yeah. She's, she's my white whale. I mean, obviously I want to talk to Asia.
Oh no, she'll come on.
We'll eventually get Asia. But, but yeah, I, I want to talk to Jen so badly about this season. Okay, so Joe and Nathan hug it out, and they put it behind them. And he goes up to Sandy. She says, you are so good at being in charge. And he's going to go see his mom. He's going to go see his mom and spend time with his mom.
Come see your mom, Joe.
Come see mom.
I'm still alive, Joe. But I don't know how much time I have left. You do, Joe. Like, I thought you were okay, Mom.
Yeah, yeah. I thought you were okay, Mom. No! I'm never okay.
The devil's always coming after you, Mom. I'm gonna miss her.
I think that this scene here... Oh, sorry. Unless you're referring to her passing away. I think this here cements the fact that we will see her again.
Oh, maybe we will.
With Joe as Bosun, we will see a man attempting at every turn to not gloat that his sworn enemy is on the run from the authorities. Eating moss off the trees. And calling his mom to check in. Yeah, Aisha says goodbye. What can we say? We love her to death. I would take her as a chief stew on maybe not every season, but, you know, it seems like she's around a lot, and I hope that she keeps on keeping on.
Yeah, it was– sometimes the reoccurring cast members can go– you can go, why? I mean, this season we had technically four reoccurring cast members. We had– asia max nate and joe and some if you're counting sandy five and um somehow it worked out.
Yeah i was i was so i was so pessimistic about this cast when the season started i i didn't want joe and nate to do their thing again and uh i was i'm so happy to have been proven wrong it was such a great season of um of the show. And, and just really quickly, not we, we brought nosatial all the time, but like, think about the, the repeat cast that we've gotten tired of so quickly.
I mean, the Daisy Colin and, and, and Gary just so over it so fast.
I mean, that thing imploded, but Asia.
Has been here for like three times the length. So anyways, thank you for listening to the.
One last tease. Love is blind. God, we probably should have done this at the top of the show. Love is Blind, Massachusetts, Boston.
