Shownotes
DJ Hed and Gina Views kick off Effective Immediately with Gina’s first ComplexCon experience, reports of event violence, and a four-day date that left her socially drained, while Hed recaps recent interviews, battle-rap discussions with Daylyt, eye doctor frustrations, and his weight-loss journey. They brainstorm a name for their community, with “Immediate Family” leading the conversation, before discussing new music from AzChike, Yung Miami’s “2008,” and the importance of artist development and marketing. The duo also breaks down Episode 5 of The Drop: A Snowfall Saga, exploring generational trauma, character development, and fan theories. Plus, they react to Donald Trump’s comments about Los Angeles and San Diego, reports of a proposed Pentagon firing-squad livestream, a botched lethal injection, sexually transmitted gastrointestinal infections, and LimeWire’s resurfaced lawsuit history, blending hip-hop, entertainment, politics, and internet culture with their signature unfiltered commentary.

Welcome to Effective Immediately, a production of the Black Effect Podcast Network and iHeartRadio. Yo, it's Effective Immediately. I'm DJ Head.
Happy Saturday. It's your favorite homegirl, Gina Buse.
Thank you for listening. Thank you for tuning in each and every week. We appreciate you. Hit that subscribe button. Hype us up. Do all the shared things. Thank you to the chat. We're going to get to the names that y'all provided a little later. But it's been an interesting week in the culture. There's a lot of shit going on, literally. Gina Views, your week.
Boy, did I have a week. I have been outside every single day since the last time we've seen each other. Damn. Well, since the last time we've seen each other here.
Yeah.
Since the last time we've been in the studio. I'm tired of talking. I'm tired of wearing makeup. I'm tired of driving. I'm tired of listening to music.
Yeah.
I'm just tired of, like, just being. Just being. No, I love existing.
But, like, being. Being. Just being. I call it humaning.
Yeah.
Like, when I be out humaning.
My social battery is, like, literally 2%. And it's struggling. It's struggling. You know when your phone start tripping when it's about to die?
That's me.
But I went to ComplexCon. Got a lot of love at ComplexCon. Got some free stuff.
Yeah.
I got some free stuff at Complex Time.
That's always a good thing. Yeah. Because that should be. They be pricing that shit like it's. Like it's. Like I don't. I don't understand the lore of it. Uh huh. But that should be expensive. So anything you get for free is a dub.
Definitely made me want to go outside more. Because it was like.
The love. The love.
I got a lot of love.
Like. But yeah.
It was some shenanigans up there. I mean it was fates.
It was a module.
Two people got slashed up.
Yeah. Like it was.
It was all type of anything going on up there. But overall, though, I thought it was a really good event. And it was my first ComplexCon, too.
Oh, you've never been?
I've never been to ComplexCon before.
I think I like it better in Long Beach. I think I went one time when it was. No, this is the first time that it was in L.A. in recent memory.
I think last time it was in Vegas.
Yeah, it was in Vegas. I went in Vegas. I've been a few times. I like it in Long Beach, though. It seems like it's a lot more subtle. But, yeah, that's my take on it.
Yeah, no, it was cool, though. I burned my finger.
On what?
The curling iron.
Oh, yeah. That's just girl shit though, ain't it?
Yeah, but I don't do stuff like that.
Burning your finger is stupid.
No, burning your finger is not stupid, but I'm very careful. Like, I'm just a very careful person.
Like, I feel that because I recently burned myself and I was pissed.
I said, this is childish.
Yes. I don't do that. That's a curling iron?
No, this was a flat iron. And I was pissed off that I did it because it started scabbing and everything.
And I'm like, I'm better than this.
It stings. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It make you feel a little stupid. I said, it was childish. I'm too grown to be burning myself. Last time I burned myself with a curling iron, I was seven years old. And I was curling my Barbie doll hair. And I burned myself in my thigh. I still have the burn mark to this day.
Man, you must have really got in there.
Yeah, I just dropped it on my leg. But I wasn't even supposed to. My mama will probably find out about this right now.
You never told her you burned yourself? No. No. But what about, like, how old were you?
I was, like, seven.
Nigga, you needed to, like, put some shit on there.
You wasn't supposed to be using that curling iron on that Barbie doll.
Exactly.
That's why you can't tell.
I got whoops.
I got whoopings. My mama was not afraid to tell that. I burned myself right here, though, too. This one is gone because I was smelling the iron. Hold on.
What? You heard what I heard, right?
I had smelled the iron. I was ironing for the first time. This was probably like six. And I was ironing. I wasn't supposed to be ironing. And I was ironing. And then the steam started coming up. So I was like, what is that? And I was trying to smell it. And it got too close to me.
What's the stupidest thing you did as a kid?
And then my mom and my daddy got into it because I was hiding my face from my mama. I don't know how I was able to hide my face so long from my mama. But I went to my daddy's house, and he was like, what the hell is that?
What's on your face?
So now they're getting into it because he's like, you ain't paying attention.
You ain't paying attention. You're watching my daughter.
Yeah, and then they start arguing or whatever. No, I think that was my leg that happened with. My... The iron... I was walking around like this.
With the iron?
With the iron mark.
Oh, okay.
And I remember my mama grabbing my hand. Like, let me.
What is.
What's wrong with you? Let me see. But yeah, that was the curling iron that happened. But anyway, my week. I went on a date.
Oh, shit.
I went on a date. I went on a date.
You did?
I went on a date and it lasted four days.
Nigga, what? That's not a date.
What is that?
Nigga, that's... A relationship. I went on a date. It lasted four days. That's not a date. I don't know what your definition of a date is, but that ain't it.
Well, I went, I'm not on it no more, so.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But it was good?
It was a really, really good date. Probably like, probably like the, probably like up there with like my top five dates that I ever had. Damn. Yeah, it was, it was.
It must be, I mean, yeah, for you to, for you to be able to tolerate a human that long.
Mm-hmm.
You know. Because I feel the same way. I understand exactly where you're coming from.
Yeah.
That's a lot.
That's a lot.
You know what I'm saying? Share a space.
All that breathing together. And then, like, conversation and stuff like that. Because sometimes when you meet somebody, new conversation feels forced. You know? It's like you're trying to get to know somebody or you don't want to overstep. They don't want to overstep. Y'all got boundaries and things like that.
But it was great. He bought me a bunch of flowers. Y'all didn't see the flowers I posted?
I did. I seen them. I think so. He bought me a.
Bunch of flowers. flowers was bigger than me but um how.
Was your week mine was cool uh oh what we.
Worked we worked at our at the other at the other show yes we did we did we had some really really good interviews.
We had some really good conversations man like really good shit on the way for y'all like it's some really good shit on the way i'm really pleased with what we've been.
Doing i did some battle rap stuff last night too.
You went to a battle rap No, I wouldn't leave you. I was like, what do you mean? Because I want to go to one soon.
No, Jaz the rapper, she does this thing with Emerson Kelly and Geechee Gotti. But obviously, Geechee Gotti is incarcerated. So they had me pull up. And we were just watching old battles and scoring them.
Oh, that's dope.
Yeah, so it'll be out soon.
Oh, that's dope. That's good content.
You knew about Daylight pulling his dick out in a battle?
Nope. I knew about him. Didn't he like shit on stage or something?
Yeah.
Is that what you're talking about? Or are you talking about something else? No, he... Oh, this is something else.
I guess he just do... He just do what he want up there.
I don't know. I ain't never talked to him. I mean, I talked to Light. Oh, I talked to him last night about it. Yeah, I was about to call that nigga. Like, you be doing what, nigga?
Yeah, call him.
I didn't know he did that. He would. This was yesterday?
No, no.
I was like... They said.
This was like 10, 15 years ago or something.
Like, you got kids, nigga. You can't be.
They telling me. They be talking about it or whatever. They like, yeah, the time. But they just say it like it's normal. Like, yeah, like when they like pull his dick out. And I said, what you just say to me? And, yeah, he's like, yeah, I did. Yeah, I did that.
What was the purpose of that? Yo. Hey, you on the radio. I'm just giving you a premise. I'm with Gina right now. You on the radio. She just told me you committed a lewd act on stage and I wasn't aware of this.
What do you mean?
Gina, what happened?
Oh, he playing mind games with you because I talked to that nigga last night.
Can you hear me, Light?
You said what?
She said you drew down on stage.
Yeah, I most definitely did.
Okay, so what was the contact? Because I didn't know about this. She just told me about it. I didn't know. All right, so to make a long story short, I had a rap battle back in the day about this girl or whatnot. So at the end of the battle, the battle was over. So I said, hey, everybody get out. All the men get out. This one's for the ladies. Oh, no, you didn't.
That's crazy.
I said, I climbed to the top of the ropes like Ultimate Warrior. No. I said to all the ladies, if you want to see this thing, raise your hand. No way. Everybody raise their hands. No, you did not, dude. You took a poll? Pause.
Pause on the whole.
A poll pause. Raise your hands if you want this thing. Everybody raise their hands. Bro, yeah, you got it. For sure. For sure, bro. When she said it, I didn't believe her, but thank you for clearing it up, bro. I'm good.
Looking it up is crazy.
Yeah, look at it. All right, nigga, I'm going to talk to you in a minute, fool.
All right, bro.
All right.
That nigga's crazy. I didn't know he did it like that. I thought, so the way it was presented- You didn't.
Want to say the way you visualized it?
No, no. The way I was presenting... Hey.
You get it. You get it quick.
The way it was presented, it was like, it was part of the bars and it was just like, because I picture battle rap, it's a whole bunch of niggas in a semi-circle.
No, that's how it was presented to me too.
Oh, okay.
Because I thought the same thing. So, because I asked the question, I said, so what bar... didn't say to you know to get that off and they was like we don't remember like they was all like there wasn't no bar there wasn't no bar they said they don't you know they don't remember or whatever but um this battle took place inside of like a boxing ring so that's why he said he got on the top of the ropes.
When i picture battle rap i automatically picture a 9 000 niggas standing in a horseshoe. And I'm thinking like, the nigga just whipped out like, that's crazy.
And that's why we not gonna add no contact to this clip.
That's crazy. Anyway. How was your week? Mine was good. I didn't go outside. I took a lot of time to prep and do other things from a business standpoint.
Everybody want to prep.
Bro you crazy as fuck but one thing I did go remember how I've been complaining about my eye doctor and my glasses and all that shit what oh she talking about that song.
She's just a fool it's the impulsive.
Thoughts yes so I went and got all my shit I went up there to where I got everything I download all my shit off the computer Print my shit out. Give me my frames. Give me my lenses. Give me the little baggie. Give me all my shit. And I just went. Now, but now I got to go figure out where I'm going to get my prescription.
Wait, so why you do that?
Because.
Before you had a home.
Because.
You thought they was going to ask you to stay?
No. That's just where I'm at in life. Now that I'm like older and I just don't, I don't, I'm not fucking with it.
Oh, you're going to go to Costco. We talked about Costco.
I'm going to fuck, I'm going to see what's up. I'm going to see what's up. I'm going to see what's up.
Oh, somebody left a comment. They said something about America's best.
Yeah, so I've been looking at different online, because that way I'll have to interface with humans like that. So I got my prescription. I have really good insurance, so I can go wherever I want to get my prescription filled. But I do need to buy new glasses and shit like that, because I was getting my stuff through them, and now I don't. I walked away, so I'm like.
I got to find a new home.
So what they say when you.
They just gave it to me.
They was like, okay.
They was like, cool. And the other part about it was... I would have... The other part about it was... See, I'm cool. The optometrist, the actual doctor, she's amazing. It's the idiots that work for her.
The front desk folks.
And the back desk people. All of them are morons. Yeah. Like, they have the intellectual capacity of, like, a desk. You know what I'm saying? And it's just like, simple shit like, hey, can you give me my prescription? Yeah, let me see. And she's looking around and shit. It's in the computer, genius. Press your code into the computer so you can unlock the computer and download my motherfucking prescription. You know what I'm saying? It'd be like shit like that. And then, I meant to bring the bag in here so you could see it. The glasses come in a pouch. They put my lenses out because they didn't need to put the new lenses in, the new prescription. So I said, She takes the glasses out of the pouch. The lenses
are still in there. She says, here. I said, can I have my lenses? She puts the pouch down and says, let me see if I can go find them. And she goes and looking in the cabinet. And I pick the pouch up.
You looking at them? You looking at them? Why is she going to look for them?
That's what I'm trying to told you. These niggas are dumb. Worst experience, Lance Crafter or Ashley Furniture? Lance Crafter or Ashley Furniture?
That's how I know you mad.
What?
Because you said, that's what I'm trying to tell you. Yeah. I know you not playing right now.
No, I said that intentionally, but that's the idiocracy I was dealing with. And so I was just like, yeah, go ahead and give me all my shit. I'm out of here. Well, where all y'all go?
Because everybody in here wear glasses.
Avery got his frames on. Where you go, Avery?
Down the street from the crib. He said down the street from the crib.
Where you go, PB? Shit, wherever. I went to America's Best last time. See, I'm a pro.
And I told you, get your prescription. I got a website called ZLU, and you can get all type of frames for the Lolo.
Okay.
Just get your prescription. As long as you got your prescription.
I got my prescription. You can come and go anywhere. That was the problem. I didn't have it.
The fact, yeah.
They wouldn't give it to me because they didn't know how to fucking get it off their own computer. You know what I'm saying? But anyway, that was one thing. And then the other thing is I got back. So I haven't been able to work out because my knees still messed up. Mm-hmm. So I thought for sure I gained all my weight back because I was top of the year. I think I was 230, 225. I got on a scale. I'm 203 now. I was 206 before I got hurt.
Oh, so you lost some weight.
So I'm still going down, and I'm just like, that's interesting because my mom came back into town, and she was making all kind of cake and all kind of shit. I be eating everything.
Hold on now.
What?
What she been making, though?
She made some banana bread. Then she also made some... She made, it was like a strawberry cake. She made like this strawberry cake.
I believe I had requested that breakfast burrito.
Yeah, she didn't make that. She ain't made none of that. I would have, you know, shared. But it was just all patient. Like my mom, she used to go to Farmer's Market and make, she'll make like pound cakes and stuff like that. And she'd go to Farmer's Market and sell it. But she didn't go to the Farmer's Market.
So I was running that over here. You know what I'm saying? But yeah, that's it.
When you was talking about your glasses, I was thinking about how much I hate the eye test.
Oh, yeah.
When you got to stand there and cover up one eye. Because I can never see. I never can see the bottom row. I don't think nobody can see the bottom row. Like, why did y'all put, what's line 30? Like, why would I be able to see that?
Technically, so up until like, I mean, you knew me pre-glasses. They told me up until I went to a complete, that's how I ended up over there with the morons, is because I was going to the doctor and they said, I got 20-20. I got 20-20. I'm like, bro, I really can't see like that, like something wrong. They kept testing me, doing a little stupid cup. And I'm like, bro, I can't see. So then I thought, Salas was like, hey, just go somewhere and don't give them none of your information.
And that's what I did. And they were like, oh yeah, you need glasses. I'm like, this is a stupid process. This whole process, we've been doing this shit since the 20s. Like, now they shoot lasers into your shit. They got this thing where they blow a puff of air into your shit and they shoot your shit with light.
Well, that's old. They been doing that.
No, I'm talking about the way they do it all in this one little cabinet machine thing. Niggas ain't really about this glasses. Okay. That ain't new. The laser thing I did, I never seen before.
Nah, we didn't do that before.
I ain't never seen a laser thing.
I remember I had the pink eye and they made me do the eye test.
You know where pink eye come from?
That's how you get that.
What? Tell her. No, don't.
I'm mad you even brought it up. No. Where did it come from?
Avery. Same shit you need that one-two prep for.
I don't have no motherfucking AIDS. We need to move on. Where did it come from?
It comes from. So the lore around it is it comes from fecal matter.
I didn't have that. I didn't have that in my face. I didn't have no shit in my face. I didn't have no shit in my face. This is why I said we needed to move on.
Because they didn't got transferred back to their fourth grade self.
Because the joke is, oh, somebody farted on your pillow.
Man, what the fuck?
Like, they turned into their children.
Yeah. It's like a whole, like, classroom thing.
Oh, that's a joke. That's why I said they got transferred back to their fourth grade self.
Anyway.
While we talking about shit.
Oh, yeah. Go ahead.
No, we can get to the chat. We'll get to the diarrhea later. Chat. Shout out to the chat. We asked you guys last week to assist us with naming you. And you guys gave us some options. Shout out to the Real Loud Pack. Call us the immediate family.
I like immediate family.
I like the immediate family.
I like immediate family.
Because immediate family is that front row at that funeral. No, no, that's right. PB said what? PB said immediately like death.
The funeral. I mean, or church. You know what I'm saying? Sunday service. Immediate family. That's it. There you go. I like immediate family. Let's see here. Oh, shit. Desmond. Oh, Desmond Green. He says, effective ass niggas. Ian?
Is he trying to say Ian or E-A-N?
He's just E-A-N, Effective Ass Ninjas. He didn't put the whole thing. Okay. Let me see what this one says. I don't even understand what this shit mean.
Oh, my goodness. Mediators as individuals, the mediation. The mediation.
Oh, the mediation.
Or the mediators. Or the mediators.
I like the mediators. Mediators. Those niggas get in the middle of shit.
Yeah.
It says mediators that can get activated, though, based how they were defending in the chat.
Oh, the mediators. Oh, like moderators in the chat, but mediators. Understood.
I like that. And that is Miri, Miriana.
Miri. So, Miriani.
Miriani777, thank you.
Ice Dizzy. He says, call the chat the mediators. That's okay. That's what we... Wait, what's the....
Oh, and mediator is the opposite of mediator?
No, mediator is like immediately, but.
Oh. They're mediators.
I don't know.
Okay. So not like literate and illiterate. That's not like that.
No. I don't think so. No.
That wasn't a suffix. I mean a prefix.
Mm-hmm.
And then Colors High 782 said, the chat name is The Effectives.
I like immediate family.
I like immediate family.
Immediate fam.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm. We'll keep working on it. You know what I'm saying? Send us some more.
But Immediate Family's at the top of the list.
Immediate Fam is at the top right now.
So give us some more.
Give us some more, though, for sure.
Give us some more. Well, actually, before we get to the chaos, I guess we should just get into the new music.
Yeah. I want to shout out to our boy AZ Chike out there on that tour. He dropped his album. We've been talking about it since he dropped. Actually, before it dropped.
And.
I'm still, I love that he's getting great reviews on his tour. I love that people are, like, I saw a couple of influencers post, like, I had low expectations for this. Like, this is great. Like, he did all the songs. He hid his words. Like, it was a great show. I'm like, cool. I don't know where this low expectation for Chike came from, though. I mean, I know people don't know him like we know him, but it was like, people are very surprised at how good Chike is, whether it's the album or it's his stage performance.
I said earlier, like, Going to see him and Ruchi perform kind of changed my perspective on them as artists in general. Same thing happened to me when I went to watch Tech N9ne perform. If you listen to a Tech N9ne album, it's not the same thing as going to see a Tech N9ne show. When you see that shit, you're like, oh, I get it. Because it's just a certain type of vibe, a certain type of music. But yeah, he's killing it on tour right now. Did you see any of the footage?
I did. But I do understand people being shocked because I didn't expect Chike's album to sound like this.
Got you.
Because it doesn't sound like any of Chike's other albums. This is not a traditional Chike album to me. This is an album of an artist who has been developed. This is an album from an artist who has been, who's taken time, who's been with the team and things like that. This doesn't sound like what he normally puts out.
Like I said before, it sounds like he actually has a team now. But his album is really, really good. Like I said, it should be Grammy-nominated. It should be up there in the conversations with the best West Coast albums of all time because it's such a good album. Also, Young Miami, 2008. But this is Quavo's song, right?
No, the Quavo's. No, the Young Miami song is 2008.
What was y'all talking about earlier with Quavo and Young Miami?
That was.
He's featured on her. She's featured on his album.
She's featured on his.
Oh, that's what I thought you was asking to play.
Someone might already heard this. No, no, no, no, no, no. So the 2008 song is Young Miami's record with DJ Drama on it with the GDI live.
Yes, yes.
That shit hard to me.
Young Miami has dropped the track list for her album. And if it sounds anything like all of the other music we've been getting, I think it's going to be a really, really good album. And Young Miami, what Soulja Boy said, I had the best comeback of 2020. This is a good comeback.
Yeah, I think when I first, to be honest, like before Spin That, people was done with Young Miami. Like they counted her out. She ain't going to be able to do it.
Well, early Spin That.
Yeah, early Spin That. Early Spin That, too. It was the same sentiment, yeah. But it became the song of the summer. It blew up. We are, what, a year in now almost on Spin That, I think. No. Almost, no? It came out top of the year.
Song of the summer.
No, but I'm saying when did it first come out? It came out like.
Right before the summer.
Oh, it did, okay. Yeah. Okay, so I remember, I forgot who said it. I want to quote them because they said some bullshit. But I think Young Miami's tenacity to overcome the critics and what people think about her as a solo artist. Even me, I'm surprised at her, to be honest, as a solo artist. I didn't know that she was going to be, not going to be, I didn't doubt her potential, but I also doubted her dedication to the music. Because I'm thinking, oh, she want to be a TV host or, you know what I'm saying?
I didn't know that she was like, okay, I'm going to be a rap artist for real. But the 2008 song is so dope to me because one, it's reminiscent of that era.
Jeezy.
That Jeezy ad-libs, the drama on it. It just feel dope. It just feel like, damn, I miss that. I miss that element in music.
I love how the female artists are paying homage to Jeezy.
Facts.
Because even with Cardi, you know, with Cardi and Lotto and stuff, like, I love the, and then now Young Miami, I love that. But, again, back to just how I was saying with Chyke, Young Miami is now being developed into a solo artist.
Yeah.
And she over there with, she over there with, is that public though?
I mean, it is kind of, but not really.
Because I'm even referring to management.
Yeah, so that's... Yes, it is, but not really. Like, people don't... The wide public don't know.
Well, I'm not going.
Yeah.
Okay, but when I seen her with them, I think I seen her with them, like, a BET weekend, I'm like, oh, yeah.
I said, yeah. Yeah, she with them people.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I was even excited to see Kai, you know, with them. So I think that this album is going to be really, really good.
And I've been... I'll hit the homie and be like, yo, what's going on? And he'll tell me, like, oh, we working on this or working on... So... To me, it's a combination of talent and strategy. And I feel like she didn't always have strategy. They was just hot. Her and JT just hit the scene, and they was just killing shit. And then they had they shit, and then they just kept dropping records that were dope. But now there seems to be a lot more strategy around it, and I think it's good.
But that's why we got to get back to developing artists.
Man.
You know, they just been throwing artists out there with no training wheels on. And that's how we got it. We got to get back to developing artists because you have to get a good team around you instead of y'all just letting artists drop. Y'all putting the songs out and seeing who going to do a tick tock tick tock dance. You know, like let's let's develop the artists.
Let's take its time. Let's let you know, like let time go by. Let's really season them. You know, they not they don't be seasoning artists.
But also, to be fair, the artists don't allow that either.
They don't know no better.
So. So then what happens is the artist is like, no, I want to do what I want to do. I want to do what I want to do. And it's only so much fight. You can fight the artists. It's like, it's their career.
Yeah. But we lost the, we, we losing recipes when they were moving artists development from departments at labels, you know? So it's like, yeah, the artists probably, but who a kid don't know was not to say the artists is children, but I trust my professionals, you know? So if I am somebody who's coming up in the industry and, I can't go to a vet or something or to people who have more knowledge than I have and act like I know what the hell, you know, I'm doing. I need training.
I agree with you. It's just to me, I've just been on both sides. I know it's complicated because once artists be successful to any what they in their mind think they're successful, they make I'm getting 10,000 a show that might be successful to them. They stop listening or they start running their own campaign. And then it's hard to be like, no, the goal is. a million dollars a show yeah but they'd be like nigga i'm making 20k a show like you can't tell me nothing.
And that's why it don't work out yeah you know i feel like that artists going rogue and doing what they want to do only works when it actually works out in the end it's like y'all can do that in the beginning of your career and not listen to people and then you get to the end and it's like well i don't want to say no name but you uh I don't know everybody in the club getting tipsy.
I'm not saying that they wasn't listening, but I mean like one hit wonders.
Yeah. But I also have heard, like I've talked to a lot of producers because to me, the music really starts with the producer and then the team and the strategy comes to it. But it also like when I talk to producers, like if I talk to Jermaine Dupri or if I talk to somebody like that who like, you know, they know what the fuck they talking about.
They'll tell you straight up. Oh, I tried to tell them this or I tried to do that. I tried to work it with them. And it's like, bro, why wouldn't you like Timbaland or like a Swiss Beats? Like somebody who has 30 years in the game, broke many artists. Like, yes, you should listen to them. But a lot of artists, they get a little bit of emotion and they don't.
Shout out to the artists who do.
Facts.
Because I think the results end up working out and end up being really good results.
Shout out to Young Miami, though. Her album comes out in two weeks, I think. I think it's October. I'm looking forward to it. Because I want to see if... If there's more records on there.
That's what you was on there, What's Love?
No, I just accidentally hit the button. But I want to see if there's more records on there. Not that I'm expecting. I think another mistake that people have, our expectation for artists, is they expect a bunch of spin-nats on the album. And it's like, nah, she might have a Love record on there. She's versatile.
I wouldn't mind the whole album just being bangers.
Yeah, me too.
Just hits.
But wasn't that what the City Girls album was?
Um, I feel like they, they had like a mixture of both.
Yeah.
I think they had a mixture of both, but if she just gives us just all just back to back, just like bangers, bangers, bangers, like not like that, but I don't want to hear no love songs from young Miami. Like I want to hear her popping it. I want to hear those homegirl affirmation lyrics, you know, like the stuff that make me feel good. The lyrics that make me feel confident when I wake up or when I'm getting dressed. That's what I want to hear from young Miami because she, She just has so much confidence. You know, like she's one of those girls. Same with like Cardi B.
I like when they be popping it. I did like Cardi, relationship Cardi, only because she be saying shit that I be saying and it is, you know.
It's like you from the Bronx. Bronx has LA chick.
Hey, I'm born in LA, but I think my soul from Brooklyn.
Okay.
That's why I think my.
Soul from Brooklyn. Maybe in your past life you was a Brooklyn chick.
I do think that. And that's what New York people tell me. They say, you remind me of the girls from where we grew up at. That's what they tell me. But anyway, The Drop. Episode 5 of The Drop.
A lot of people had mixed reviews for this week. It was a storytelling episode. On the after show, we actually had the writers and stuff like that and people who directed it and whatnot. Go watch the after show if you haven't. It'll give you context to the episode that you just watched. I feel like when I first saw episode five, because obviously I saw her a little early, but when I first saw it, I was like, I was so, like, confused at first. Because it don't explain, it just come on. It don't explain what's happening. Like, it just start off in, like, back in the day in L.A. And then, like, you see what happened. But from a storytelling perspective, I understand it because now you understand why Mama G be tripping. She's stupid, though. She
just be just on one for everything and everybody. But then, she has this, like, because she got put out and she was underage and all this other kind of stuff like that. Now, it's like, that's why she's so hell-bent on having this idea of a perfect family and, like, all this other... To me, the episode was a good part of the story, but to me, just from a black, like, culture standpoint, it's excellent at black trauma.
Yeah.
Because it depicted what, like, the black trauma that translates from generation to generation. Your grandma... then your mama, then to me, you know what I'm saying? And then you see now Wanda, she's seen her do the bump in the bathroom, and it's just like, oh, then Wanda became a crackhead. So just to me, all of that stemmed from that moment back in the day, and it was just like, damn, that's really our story as black people.
I thought that this episode, episode five of The Drop, I felt like it was the most realistic storyline, especially as it relates to black families and black traumas, even going back to Mama G being pregnant. When was she, 15 years old?
16. I think she was 16.
And them, her being in the church.
Yeah.
And I didn't know. Well, what was unrealistic, because I've never seen this before in a church, but that's just not my experience at church. But calling her out, you're going to blast her.
Oh, yeah, that's real.
On Sunday service?
That's real.
Like.
For sure.
What's up with you?
That's for sure real.
And then we putting you out like that was just like, okay, put me out at home, but you're going to put me out in front of the whole congregation.
Yes.
Like, what do you expect a 16 year old to do in the real world with a baby? And I feel like that generation that I don't even know what, what are them? The baby boomers.
That was before that. I don't know.
It was the seventies.
It was, yeah, that was before boomers.
I think, but it's like, for that era that generation to they it's like that the love so tough and they just disown you and it's like the most thing what a child needs most is love in those situations imagine being 16 years old with a baby and your parents kick you out that's crazy um but then back to like that was giving us like the um the backstory because i think we all been trying to figure out for the past For episodes. What the hell happened with the mama?
With the mama.
What happened with they mama, you know? And now we got our answer. I did not like that. But again, realistic black trauma. How Mama G's knew that the mother did not want to be with this man anymore. And she encouraged her to stay in the relationship. And that is what that era of adults do because you are not a woman or you are not complete unless you are with a man. You know, like that's like the idea of like as a woman, you're not shit if you don't have a man. You're not shit if you don't have a husband, you know. And I thought that was 100% realistic. But my biggest takeaway is how... People are so unaware or how they don't acknowledge how children are sponges. And for Wanda to watch her auntie sniff
a line and then become an addict herself is freaking crazy. But what do I always say? How I was just telling you, I take my pictures down. around my house when kids come over because I remember being a kid who looked up to the wrong adults you know how I always say I didn't have many role models and stuff I had a lot of examples of what not to be I seen people on drugs I saw people drunk alcoholics I seen people unemployed not chasing their dreams and stuff I'm low-key first generation to do what I'm doing you know so I know how traumatic that is.
And like, we don't like as a kid, you notice and you see everything, you know, you're watching the adults around you. She watched her do drugs and then she turned to drugs and we see how tough the family is. That family's so tough. Wanda probably had to go result to, to, to, um, um, substance abuse, you know, because of look at all the adults around her.
Yeah. And then also like, I like Michael T's character, Big Daddy's character, because it seemed like he know what Mama G been through, so he trying to hold her down. But at the same time, it's like, hey, you doing a lot.
Somebody got to hold Mama G accountable.
Wanda be trying.
Yeah.
But then she gets slapped. She gets slapped. Yeah.
So there's a fan theory that Wanda might be Big Daddy's daughter. And that's why Mama G... does not like Wanda so much let me tell you how.
Deep this drop sheet is right and PB was in the car with me I'm getting phone call that ain't the only one I'm getting phone calls from niggas like man just keep it real bro is Wanda they sister like what's up bro like.
Because where are where are Wanda's parents.
I don't think I don't I mean I don't have an answer for you but I don't think that that's the intention that is going behind all this. I think it's amazing that there are... Like, there's a lot of shit going on online for fan theories. Yeah. It's whole YouTubes reacting and, like, it's everything. But....
I think we're going to... I mean, I don't expect y'all to answer this question or tell me even if you know. But as a... From a fan... As a viewer, from a viewer perspective, I think they're going to eventually have to give us that Wanda backstory and show us how she even got into... drug use. I think that they gave us a little tidbit in the midst of giving us the backstory for James and what's his son?
Rochelle is her name.
James and Lamar's upbringing. They're eventually going to have to tell us what Wanda.
Has been through. Wanda's pre-story.
I did feel like this episode was dragged out. I would have liked them to wrap that up and then get back to the violence. I needed them to get back to the gangbanging. I wanted to go back to the blue apartments. Where's Trigg at? I miss Trigg.
Trigg was knocked out, and he got arrested.
I will say, did you watch the originals in the fall? Yes.
Don't they show Wanda's... It's been a while. They show Wanda when she first gets on drugs.
I don't recall.
Yeah, they did. They showed. When she first took.
They show her start.
It's from Franklin.
It's from Franklin. Yes, but what did you go through? What was happening in your life, your upbringing, your childhood? You know what I'm saying? To get you to go. To even make you want to even turn, that you even needed an outlet. You know what I'm saying? Like how I just told y'all all the shit that I witnessed.
With my childhood, all the shit that I've been through, me being on drugs is not too far-fetched. Okay? You know, just because of what I saw, you know, in my life and stuff. So I would want to see, like, that little girl that was sitting at that table, like, what else did she see?
What else did she experience? To be even willing to try. Because I think they did show, like, when she took her first hit and, like, all that kind of shit.
But the before is the most important.
She wanted to see the trauma and shit leading up to that. That makes sense. But, yeah, I've seen a lot of fan theories. Obviously, I didn't even engage in them. But to me, it's really interesting to see the stuff that people are coming up with. Like, I done heard wild shit like Big Daddy is actually, like, Big Daddy is actually Wanda's father. I seen one where James and Lamar are not really brothers. Like, it's like a lot of different shit going on. It's like.
Because why do Big Mama hate Wanda so much? Now, Wanda, she was on drugs, so she might have took her car.
Exactly. Exactly.
She probably took her car a couple times.
If you remember in a previous episode, she said, she did say something like Wanda used to do some, like she.
Took, she took Leon toys and sold them on Christmas.
Exactly. Yeah. So like, I mean, plus she directly, her trauma, that's why, that's why this episode was important for Big Daddy and Mama G's characters because her trauma led to her One, you need this man to be safe.
Because she depended on a man.
Because she depended on a man. Then the second thing.
Or not depended, but a man came to save her.
Like took her away because she got put out. But then the second part about it was the music industry point. She felt like the music was, they were going to be their saving grace. Now they can have and afford and be a family and shit like that. I'm going to push you to this man. Then you lose your life to the music. Like, She looks at the music industry as the reason why her daughter lost her life.
That's not the reason her daughter lost her life.
But Mama G also had me effed up when, not Leon, I keep forgetting the... Lamar. Lamar. When Lamar said, hold on, my mama was 16 years old?
Yeah.
How old was he? Oh, it was different back then. And that's the shit I be talking about. with these fucking elders that be sweeping shit up under the rug with these touchy ass Philly uncles. And as you know, everybody like, oh, that's just your uncle. That just said everybody got a rapey uncle because that was an era where they allow shit like that. Like, oh, well, it was different back then. No, y'all needed to stand up for the kids. Y'all needed to stand up for the kids who didn't have a voice and didn't know no fucking better. You let your 60 year old daughter get married to a grown ass man as 10 years older than her. Fuck Mama G. I need, what's Buddy carry?
I need artillery to drop a diss track on Mama G.
I don't even think he know Mama G. He was in her house. He was in her house. Yeah. But I think, I think the other part too about, about this episode though, it shows the, the bond of Lamar and James because they mom died. Now the grandpa, you know, everybody knows somebody had been raised by their grandparents.
Right.
I was. Yeah. My cousins, everybody. So it's like, I know what that's like when the sibling got to be the guardian. And then I just keep compounding over time and over time and as you get older or whatever.
So I did go back and watch episode four or three, whichever episode Watomi Kwan was in.
Four.
I was loud and wrong. He did say Leon from back in the day.
Oh, yeah. Oh, you're talking about when we were talking about, yeah.
Yeah, he did not say, oh, that shit from back in the day. He didn't say it the way that I interpreted it. He did not say that. So I wanted to point that out because I'm the type of person who, you know, I have accountability.
Yeah, it's all good.
But Discourse Online about Daria.
Dara.
Dara.
Dara. Niggas ain't let episode four go yet.
They not letting that go.
That shit be going viral for two weeks. Yes.
And I saw people saying the same thing that I said. Ain't no female doing that. Ain't no female going up to you in front of your dude. I mean, going up to you in front of your girl.
Ex. Ex.
It don't fucking matter. A bitch will get drugged.
She said, are y'all together or not?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Them fighting words. Them is fighting words. Imagine that. It is unrealistic. At least in today's age. I think it's unrealistic. You walk up to, like, a couple you know they separated, you not going to go say that to that man. And in L.A., you are liable to get swung on. You're liable to get smoked.
But in this era, in 2026, these broads, the new young hoes, they just going to ask y'all for a threesome. Y'all want a girlfriend?
Wake it up.
That's what they'll do. That's what they'll do in today's age.
Wake it up. You know what I'm saying?
But, yeah, I look forward to next week's episode.
Next week going to be cracking.
Yeah, I need them to get back to that violence.
Next week going to be cracking.
I want to see some sock outs.
Definitely tap into next week's episode of The Drop. You know what I'm saying? Well. Did you see, I want to talk about this L.A. and San Diego thing. Because we don't talk about politics, but this thing has nothing to do with politics. This just straight up, nigga, you got me fucked up.
Literally, I was watching, and I'm like, what Trump say fuck me for? Right. Like, why did you tell them that they can go drop the load off? He just basically said, y'all can go get crack in LA and San Diego. I ain't even going to trip about it. I ain't even going to trip about it. That just goes to show how bad him and Governor Newsom is beefing. Bro.
He said, go wipe the state out.
If y'all don't know what we're talking about, Trump, basically, he was doing his Trump thing, being Freestyle Donnie from New York and Donnie T from NYC. That's his rap name. And he basically said, y'all can do whatever y'all want in L.A. He was talking to Iran and basically all of our enemies. It wasn't just Iran. It's like, hey, they can do something in L.A. They can do something in San Diego. Do your thing. That's what the president of the United States said is. Double down on it.
Him and Gavin Newsom, our governor here in the great state of California, they don't fuck with each other. Gavin Newsom don't drop not like us on the nigga. Like, they don't... He Iceman. Yeah, they not politicking at all. Like, it's full politic at this point, right?
No, no. It's full goofy.
Okay. It's a.
This shit, what you said, this shit is a Tubi movie.
It's a full Tubi movie. This president's a Tubi movie. But the crazy part about it is... We in California. He don't even come over here. You know what I'm saying? Like, he don't fuck with us because he don't fuck with Gavin. So he don't even really... He don't even be over here like that. So how do you know what niggas got going on or don't got going on to be like...
It's kind of like when you could say, hey, y'all can go do whatever y'all want in that liquor store. I know it's in my hood, but nigga, fuck them.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's like... But this steal your hood.
You steal... president this state.
Bro they steal your hood though so if what you think they're part of your jurisdiction what you think when they get done with the liquor store you think they're gonna stop at that liquor store yeah nigga nah they're gonna push the line that's what that's that's how that's how we got to the united states of america is because the whites pushed the line over here.
That nigga tripping so he just tweeted too if y'all vote if y'all vote for if y'all vote in our favor i'm gonna give everybody five thousand dollars and that's cap because he bent He owes us some money. He's been owing us some money for like three years.
Niggas, I know niggas that ain't got their COVID money.
A lot of niggas got COVID money.
I know niggas that still ain't wasted. I know idiots. Man, I voted for Trump. He said he was going to send me $ 1, 200. Nigga, you're in California.
He didn't send the first $ 1, 200. That's the thing that everybody got messed up.
Anyway, um. Yeah, I think that that's insane for the President of the United States to say. He says a lot of insane things. But to me, this don't have nothing to do with politics. To me, this is some hood shit. It's like, go ahead and run it over there and just do what you want. We ain't tripping. That's insane. We got green-lighted.
Yeah. When I saw the clip, I'm like, well, why would you say that, though? Why would you say that?
Out of all the shit you could say.
And then his spokesman. His folks was like, no, that's not what he meant. And then he spent the block and was like, no, that's.
What I'm saying.
You know how, you know how like when a rapper talking or something, you don't want them to criminalize themselves. So you interrupt you like allegedly. He was like, no, no, no. I said that. I said that. Y'all can go up over there. I'm not even tripping.
We had a couple niggas sit right there.
Yeah.
No, no, no. No, that happened.
Yeah. No, I said that.
Like what?
Imagine, imagine that. Imagine that. He just said, y'all can go over there and get cracking. I'm not even tripping about it.
That's also not true. Because he going to have to do something. Because people don't, there's always a line and people always step over it.
He didn't give a F with them fires either.
Bro, he don't care.
And that being said, everybody go vote. Yeah.
Everybody go to your midterm elections.
Because they texting me every day.
Every day.
Yeah. They done been putting me in group chats. It is very important, please. I'm in group chats and everything, but yeah, definitely go both.
So while we on this, I want to talk about this Pentagon thing. So.
That's what I want to know, though.
Okay.
And I wish we could talk to, like, some generations ago. Like, maybe, like, six generations ago. Like, has America always been ghetto?
Yes.
Or is it that it's platform now because we have social media?
No. America's been ghettos. America was established from ghetto shit. Mm-hmm. It was white people... who got ran out they hood, came over here, took this hood from somebody else. That's what happened. That's America.
I like the way you broke that down.
That's what happened. Then started titling the niggas that was here, nigga, this our hood, y'all got to get up out of here. And they still doing that to this day. But the Pentagon, now this, I read an Associated Press article. This is a real official. You can go look up the article. The Pentagon says that they will live stream the firing squad execution of the Fort Hood shooter Now, I know we got young audiences. I'm not even want this in your searches. A firing squad is in World War II.
The Nazis used to like if they capture people and it was up, they would line you up on a wall and everybody would point their gun at you and they would count down and they would execute you. And sometimes they would broadcast this shit on the radio or whatnot like, The Pentagon... I'm.
Trying to figure out why have I seen this. Did I see it in a movie? You saw it in movies. I'm imagining it in black and white.
Yeah, you've seen it depicted in movies for sure. This is like World War II stuff. So this is like barbaric shit. In 2026, the Pentagon wants to live stream. They want to be streamers. And live stream an execution, a firing squad execution of the... Now, mind you, he deserves everything he got coming to him. He Killed a lot of people. He was doing some bullshit. But we have a process that's semi-humane or more humane than other ways to die in the United States called lethal injection and stuff. And no girl survived that. But it's like, what the fuck is going on in the country right now?
Trump is a reality television star. He is the president of the United States. Giving niggas the green light on California. Bombing the shit out of other people. Taxing niggas. He charging protection on our allies.
Right?
And now he's like, man, I'm finna, nigga, fuck Kai. I'm finna start streaming this shit. I bet you my stream, you think Blueface got some views. Wait till you see this shit off in the stream. Drop guns in the chat. Yeah, drop a W in the chat. It's like this shit being ghetto.
Okay. Yeah, I don't know how I feel about live streaming and execution.
Crazy.
And I kind of want to be removed from the group chat. You know what the last few years have felt like? When you get a substitute teacher and y'all just doing anything. We just all running around. We doing what we want. It doesn't even feel like we're under any... supervision is for lack of better terms though like supervision you know.
Have you seen people people will comment under like obama's like post and be like mom come back the babysitter's.
Weird because it's like you know what it is to play on that it's like pockets of people so the pockets over here we got like the circus them niggas are doing spit balls at the teacher them niggas is jumping on desk tagging on windows then you got these other section niggas over here that's streaming it Right? Then you got these other section of niggas over here that's beefing about stupid shit that have nothing to do with nothing.
It remind me of the classroom that you wanted to ditch to, 6th period. You know, like that fun class you just wanted to ditch to. Like, I want to go to Mr. Jenkins' class because he just sit there and he let that class do whatever they want. And everybody passing. Everybody passing in the class, you know? But that's that cracking class right before 3 o'clock, right before that bell ring. And you just having fun.
We used to call that, when I was growing up, we used to call that the rumpus room. My grandma used to have this room called a rumpus room. And anything, it'd just be whatever. They'd be sneaking back there, smoking weed. It'd be a fade. Yeah. Dice. Yeah, dice. Underage drinking.
Finger banging in the corner. Yeah.
That's what that shit is. It's all a type of. America's the rumpus room.
They almost had a heart attack when I said finger banging.
Why?
That's an old word, huh?
That's an old word. What's the new word for it?
Relax.
Well, I don't know. You know what I'm saying?
Chat, immediate family, let us know what's the new word for finger banging.
I don't think there is a new word for that.
Finger popping.
What's the- Popping or that's the- You know what's a good question too? Remember there was words that we use, what was your generation for, your generation was making out?
What, for kissing?
Yeah.
No, I think we just said kiss. See- No, we said tonguing it up.
Oh, tonguing it up.
We said tongue, didn't we say tonguing it up? I did.
Oh, they over there tonguing it up. Like, that's how you would say it, right?
It's tonguing it up, right, PB?
Yeah. Yeah, tonguing it up. So, we had, so, you know, I was with the Mexicans. They said scamming. What? That's how they, that's what they called it.
What is this called?
Huh?
What did you say, PB? No, I said I remember that. Yeah.
Scamming is kissing?
Yes. And then it would turn into macking. Like, they over there macking in the corner, like in the movies or whatever. And then it went to making out. And then after that, I don't know what it became.
See, that lets me know how I misinterpret certain words. Because I would have thought Mackie was, like if I heard that as a kid, I thought Mackie would have been like just gaming a girl up, like trying to get her number. Like that, because they'll be like, oh, he a Mack.
Yeah.
You get what I'm saying?
Well, it also depends on the region. Because in the Bay, I think the Bay, that was the lingo. I don't think, in L.A., I'm only speaking from an L.A. perspective. We're all just New York people and shit. But L.A. perspective, it was like scamming it up, macking it up, and then making out. Those were the evolutions of what that was.
It's funny that you even said that because I saw on episode three of The Drop, the Trigg episode, people were on Twitter saying, were they saying squabble up in the 90s? Because remember he said something like squabble up or whatever? But I was also, I thought I need that was our era. So even when James said, nigga, I need that. Like, I thought our era was saying I need that. I didn't know that my daddy was saying that.
I didn't know that either.
Yeah.
They had to correct me on that because they have people on set and they have the consultants and stuff like that. I didn't know that either. But also, like, you know, shit come full circle a lot.
Right, right.
So sometimes we'll, like, use a word and we don't know that they used it 30 years ago. So it'd be like nuance.
And even, um, cause ours, well, so ours for fighting was like, um, it was, I need that and catch a fade.
See, ours was, uh, or catch my fate. Nah, ours was, uh, we got to get in or lock or lock. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. I had just took it back on Twitter the other day.
Sock out. Yeah.
He definitely did.
Oh, you know what we called that getting socked out? We used to say he got decked.
Okay, I heard decked.
Yeah, he got decked.
You're not decked or right in the mouth. Yeah, I heard decked.
Yeah, we used to say that.
We also used to say binked up. Like if you got beat up, that means you got binked up.
I think ours was maxed out.
Oh, yeah.
Like, damn, he got maxed out.
Maxed out, yeah.
He got fucked up if he got maxed out.
Our maxed out might have been, was that packed out?
Yeah.
Yeah.
But maxed out is like, like packed out is like. Packed out is jumped. Packed out is like you can go home. Maxed out is you got to go to urgent care. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, I think that's kind of like.
Well, that's a very healthy conversation. But let us know what was your version of these words. And we'll get back to the inmate who survived lethal injection.
Go ahead.
You got to call switch. Yeah, call switch a little bit. Okay, so this woman. Open the link.
What's her name? Krista Pike.
Krista Pike is reportedly walking again after surviving multiple lethal injections during her botched execution in Tennessee last week.
I want to know what kind of CMOS she take because I need that shit.
That's Michael Myers. Jason Voorhees. Every horror film villain that you can think of.
Jigsaw.
Yeah, like who die and keep coming back. Because they did it to her twice.
Freddy Krueger.
It's time for her. What's after a sequel? The trilogy. Trilogy. Yeah. She on her trilogy right now.
Like, this is her third story.
I cannot wait for the Netflix doc on this. I can't wait for the Netflix doc on this.
I'm trying to figure out, because I've actually watched, I don't want to call it a documentary. It was like a one-episode documentary on, well, actually, documentaries are one episode. We so used to docuseries now that.
Mm-hmm.
But I watched this documentary on lethal injection before. And how they actually, like, stop you from being alive is very scientific. It was a very intricate process. Like, it's the most kind of humane way to do it. Like, first they stop you. I mean, it puts you unconscious with the first one. The second one, like, it, like, stops your respiratory or something so you can't feel pain.
And then the last one, I think, stops your heart or something like that. And then they count and they wait and they pronounce you dead or whatever. She went through that twice, allegedly, right? Because I'm also not buying some of this shit. So she went through this shit twice. And I'm thinking, like, first thing when I first saw that, I'm like, man, this is like one of them, you know what they call it, the rapture? Is this a rapture rollout? You know what I'm saying?
Are they trying to tell us reasons why they want to cancel the death penalty? Bro. Or lethal injection?
Because... People don't survive the first one. Right. Two is crazy.
Two is like, okay, all right, I'm going to give y'all, all right, she didn't survive the first one. But your body not weak enough to not survive the second one? Like, they better than me. If I worked for them, I would have went up in there like, y'all, we can just go turn our TV off. I don't even know why they treating her in the hospital right now. I thought that, too. Why are they saving your life? Yeah, I thought, why are y'all treating her in the hospital?
I thought y'all was getting rid of her. Like, there's other methods.
Quicker. We wouldn't even have known. Fire squad.
Yeah, fire squad. We wouldn't even have known. Y'all could suffocate her. Like, they could have did all type of stuff. They said. They said that's how they took Martin out.
Martin who? Oh, my God.
Who the fuck is Martin? It just clicked.
Oh, Dr.
King? They said they suffocated him. He didn't die from that bullet?
Oh, shit. I don't know.
All I'm saying is y'all could have got cracking. They don't want to.
They didn't want to leave.
But they might be about to put her in a lab or something and start running tests.
That's Jean Grey. She's Jean Grey.
They might be about to run a test on her or something. They said she was snoring, like, after the second one.
Like, she was asleep. They just put her to sleep?
I'd never get into it with this bitch.
Facts.
I'd never be for her.
Hey, what's her name? Krista? We want no smoke.
I don't want no smoke. I'm turning it down.
Hey, you could be effective, fam. Yeah. We don't want none of that.
I'm turning it down. Y'all know she's in jail for, like, killing, like, a high school, like, classmate. How'd she kill him? Did she, like, her and, like, another man, like, butchered this girl? Like, Stab wounds, everything. So she is Jason Voorhees. She was in jail for life. She had the death penalty.
Okay, you can't be immediate fam, champ.
I don't even like the way this bitch looking at me on my computer. Let me zoom in on this so they can see. They can see this. But Crystal, I don't... want no smoke, though. Like, if you ever come across this clip, like, it's all love. It's all love. Look at her, though.
Hey, we do know, you do know there's a story of, an ancient story of somebody being put to death. And then they just got up. Three days later, it just... Got on.
Where did you hear that? The same place he heard about that shit that caused pink eyes.
There's a story. There's a story.
Wait.
I don't think we want to compare her to Jesus. I'm not comparing her to Jesus. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying.
PB says she resurrected.
Oh, my God. I'm just saying bro.
I'm so sorry that was not funny Jesus.
Name we pray it was funny but we apologize.
Cause sometimes I think that when I get to heaven God gonna be like this you you know like with all my tweets all the little jokes I got off and stuff like I don't want God to like.
God have a sense of humor I think you think he funny God is hilarious he gotta be funny if he may be no there's some people that we know that may or may not do content and shit look at them people God.
Is hilarious Oh, you're saying that he was just doing anything?
Bro, sometimes.
You're saying God was in the kitchen just making anything.
Sometimes you got some peanut butter and bologna, and you just, you know.
Like they ugly?
And you just.
You're saying like they ugly?
I didn't say that. I'm saying sometimes you got peanut butter and bologna, and you got some Hawaiian bread. You got to just put it together.
I get what you're saying, because sometimes I see certain peanut butter and bologna looking people, and I be like... Who will fuck you? Like, why you got kids?
Bro, God is hilarious.
Yeah, yeah. Y'all never looked at nobody like, you was fucking....
I don't look at people like that, but I do look at people like, I wonder what your high school experience was like.
And that's why I refrain from playing games and talking about people because I don't want to come back in the next life struggling. Like, imagine people with, like, those diseases and things that you can't do anything about on some serious shit.
Yeah.
On some serious shit. Like, people that are mutes, people who are, like, they just born with certain, like, syndromes and diagnoses and stuff like that. Like, I don't want to be that. Like, if I come back in the next life, I don't want to come back struggling, like, facially or physically.
Physically for me.
And that's why, you know, we was talking about, like, what the comeback ass?
Take me up.
I'm done. I live this life.
Yeah, you good.
Yeah, yeah.
There is a girl that I follow on Instagram. She's a paraplegic. She's hilarious about it, though. I reposted one of her videos. She rolled up in her chair to some vegetables and shit. She's visiting her family. But she's hilarious. She makes fun of the fact that she's paralyzed. And I think those people are amazing.
She said she was visiting her family?
Yeah, I reposted it. It was fucking hilarious. She was in the grocery store and rode him to the vegetables. It was like just visiting my people. I love diet. Like, I like people like that. You know what I'm saying? Shout out to her.
Okay, well, speaking of unfortunate events, there's a new sexually transmitted disease.
There's always some new colorway of disease going around.
So, according to the spiritual world, Cases of sexually transmitted diarrhea are reportedly rising as doctors warn of drug-resistant infections, basically saying there's no cure to it.
Bro, they got super diarrhea now.
I mean, you eventually die.
You're going to run out of fluids.
You ever had the stomach virus?
Yes.
And you just keep letting it out, letting it out, letting it out?
Yes.
I was almost out.
I got food poisoning one time in Big Bear, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. That's with the hotel room? Yeah, that hotel room was done. I ain't going to hold you. I still feel like I owe karma for that. That whole hotel room was fucked up.
What'd you do to it?
That whole hotel room needed to be burned to the ground. Leaked in a room? Bro, what? What? Wasn't a leak, nigga. You know how the New York Hummings bust a fire hydrant open? It was stupid in that motherfucker. Because he was in Big Bear, and I ate the salmon at this restaurant. And it was some cross-contamination, I guess. And when I tell you that thing got a hold of me and didn't let go for about five days, bro, I was sitting. I had to crawl to the bathroom, but watch where I was going because it was just It was bad everywhere, right? So I called Silas like, hey, you got to come to this room. He was like, what's going on? I said, go across the street, give me some Gatorade, some water, and just come in the room.
Go get a key, come in the room. You got to come help me. So he goes and gets the Gatorade and shit.
What the fuck you just say to me? What the fuck you just say to me?
That diarrhea pro max. He came in there? He didn't come in the bathroom, but he was like, he walked in the room and saw, like, he said, what the fuck is going on?
You shit it on the walls.
It was just, the whole room was fucked up. You shit it on the walls, on the floor. It was just bad, fool.
You not answering the question.
I'm not answering the question on purpose, because that's a lot. But it was a lot going on in there.
How much salmon did you eat?
Nigga, it was one, it was one, it was two portions of salmon, like two little fillets. Fucked my whole shit up. Six days.
All right. You splattered on the walls?
It was stupid.
But how?
You ain't never had... Where was your pants at?
That's all I'm saying because how did it get out? How did it splatter?
Have you ever had food poisoning, diarrhea before? Yes. Okay, so at some point, It all went where it go, though. No, I didn't know.
You was in that motherfucker painting. You was over there painting. How did it get on the wall? This is what I'm trying to figure out.
It wasn't on the wall. It was on the baseball.
This is what I'm trying to figure out. Because even if you walk in or something, or even if you're sitting down, how did it get?
It wasn't on the wall.
How did you aim?
It was on the baseball.
So you was just like... Like, this is what I'm trying to figure out. Like, how did it. This is a valid question, though, because I'm.
It wasn't on the walls. Like, it was definitely on the floor and around the sides.
So that means, like, you felt your stomach bubbling.
It didn't move. I would know that I was getting to the bathroom. It was just coming out.
No, but why the fuck was it just coming out, though? Like, where was your pants at? Like... You was like taking him down like me. I think he trolling. I don't believe it.
Okay.
I think he trolling. I think he trolling.
I'm telling you what happened. It was bad.
But it wasn't sexually transmitted.
No.
It was from the salmon.
It was from the salmon.
Let's get back to the article.
Salmonly transmitted. Salmonly. Salmonly transmitted.
Y'all don't be hearing PB and Avery, but when I'm cutting them clips, they be having these small little one-liners. Them niggas be having some small little one-liners. Okay. Imagine this, though. If I could just paint a picture for you. You're intimate with a woman.
Mm-hmm.
And then you go home and now you got diarrhea because it was sexually transmitted. And then you call the doctor and they tell you, or you visit the doctor actually, and they tell you we don't have a cure for it.
That's all bad. I think for me, just knowing what that is like, I don't know. I'd probably go somewhere to another country and seek some sort of like something. Something that whatever the whites can't help me do, I'm going to go figure it out on my own.
You going to get on a plane with that ass?
I'm probably... Nah. I think you take a shit. What? They have poop cruises. Yeah, the poop cruise. Yeah. Give me a poop cruise.
I'm not mad at that.
I'm not mad, yeah. I might get a Netflix doc.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not mad at that. But I would be scared of dying from dehydration.
Yeah.
Because anytime that I've been sick or I've been in that state, that's actually what it feels like. It feels like death because you get to the point where you're emptying out nothing. You know, like it's not even poop no more. Like sometimes it's just fluid. It's just like clear fluid. But yeah, prayers up to stay the fuck away from me. Yeah, I'm not even praying for them.
Just stay the fuck out of my way. All them niggas stay the fuck out of my way. Yeah, I'm not even praying for them because how y'all even get that?
Where did it start? What's the origin story?
Yeah, like, remember the movie Contagion?
Yeah.
I need that.
We need the 50 Cent to make the power origin of this shit.
That's all I need. The poop origin.
Figure out.
We need the poop origin.
How did y'all start this?
Yeah, and that's why I feel like they just be making STDs.
Well, yeah.
They trying to take us out.
Who? Them. Yeah.
You know every other day it's a new recall. They just recalled a whole bunch of Gatorades. No, yeah. Anything that's not like red or blue is not safe.
What the fuck? That's when you get to looking around, looking at niggas' beverages.
Y'all might want to go look that up.
Because they look like they just had that today.
Nah, I don't drink Gatorade.
Hey, I love Gatorade, especially the red one. The red Gatorade is really... Gatorade is just cosplaying as Kool-Aid.
Yeah. Gatorade is just sugar anyway, but.
Gatorade is just Kool-Aid.
I knew we was in trouble when... Because when I was a kid, and I don't know if you have this memory, though. When I was a kid, I don't remember expiration dates being on my water bottles. Like when I was growing up, I remember us having the jugs of water, but they never had expiration dates on them.
Man, I didn't realize expiration dates until I started buying my own groceries and shit started expiring. And I'm like, when did peanut butter start? Like, peanut butter, jelly, bread, obviously, you know. Strawberries die so damn quick. I'm trying to figure out if they growing them in the back of the store or if they really planting them at a farm or something. Strawberries die the moment you put them in your refrigerator.
Nigga, you ever cut an apple? A real apple? Mm-mm. That shit start turning brown, nigga. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. As soon as the air hit it.
Same thing with avocado.
I cut an apple the other day. Nigga, that motherfucker didn't brown at all. Nigga, it was in the refrigerator. I just left it in there. I just wanted to see.
Oh, I had some grapes. I had some grapes that had lasted like a month. Yeah.
Because bread don't even mold the way it used to. I was just about to say, remember bread used to mold in like three, four days? Yeah.
I didn't know salsa had an expiration date. I don't remember stuff expiring at my granny house. Now, either we was eating expired groceries.
Yeah.
Or she was just replacing stuff real quick. But I noticed the expiration date on water because one day I was actually in the fifth grade and I smelled some water inside of a bottle that stank really, really bad. And that made me just like, as I grew up, start looking at expiration dates. But also we run through water so quick. You know, like it's no reason to even know that if the water has an expiration date.
You know, you're drinking it so fast. You know, black people, our water stay on the floor. into the pack gong anyway. It really don't even make it too far past the front door.
Facts. Or when women, they live by themselves, single women, I know a bunch of women just keep the whole pack in their trunk and just take a couple bottles at a time.
I used to do that until I learned that, well, obviously we already know everything has some cancer-causing agent in it, but the bubbles in the plastic, well, that's why I stopped drinking Pure Life. because of the plastic and the bubbles and then I start thinking about like I don't know necessarily how long this water has been on a truck you know like in the sun or whatever it's like yeah it gets to me and I put it in the refrigerator or whatever but I used to always leave my water in the trunk and I would just grab it like one by one but I was told that once the water gets hot and if it's, like, inside the car and it has the bubbles, then that's when it's no longer good or safe to drink. My mom told me the same exact thing. Like, I was like, okay.
And I've always thought it. I've been told that for years from my mom. I ain't even questioning it. Whatever, okay. I never cared. Okay, sure. You said it.
Whatever.
Then you become an adult. You start looking at them bubbles.
Mm-hmm.
Hold on. She knew what she was talking about.
The air ain't safe either. You know what I'm saying? And once they figure out how to start charging us for clean air, it's a wrap. Oh, shit.
I think we already paying for it.
In what way?
It's probably on the bottom of your taxes.
Or like surcharges. I don't even know that nigga. Who the fuck is a surcharge?
You ever looked at your phone bill and you like, what is all these charges on here? I think we've been paying for air. We just don't know. We don't know that we paying for air. Before we get up out of here, LimeWire.
LimeWire, one of the great institutions of the music community. Shout out to Napster. Shout out to Hulk Share, Bear Share. Y'all kicked off all this shit.
That's a real TBT.
You know what I'm saying?
If it's ever a Rico, I know I'm going to be on that Rico because I was the friend doing all the mix CDs, uploading music on everybody's iPods. Like, take my iPod home. We would trade iPods. We would get to school. We would trade iPods. I would stay iPod up, take it back. And we didn't pay for none of that music.
What? I didn't.
Bro.
I had two versions of the Marshall Mathers LP, and I don't know which one was the real one. Like, because, you know, like when you get them off the file sharing networks, you just kind of like take what it is. There's a fabulous song that I didn't know. I didn't know the real version because all I heard was DJ Clue, Desert Storm. And I thought that was a part of the record until I was damn near an adult because I was getting the booze. You know what I'm saying?
I was getting the bootleg version for like 10 years on my, on my mixed burn CDs.
You remember the, um, I re I remembered like I downloaded so much music that I remember the signature, like the, I guess like the audio signature. Maybe that's the way that they, um, you know, and they put, what is it called when you put your logo on a post? Like, so everybody take it watermark. Maybe that was their version of a watermark where they put, cause I remember the mixtapes that or you remember that? And they'll make that little noise.
Like we call them producer tags now. Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But LimeWire tweeted, just a reminder, the music industry tried to sue us for $ 72 trillion back in the day. Like, LOL. Does that number even exist? Still not paying.
Bruh, they never going to get that money. And it's a nigga named, what you about to say, BB? I was going to ask, did you make ringtones? I did. I did. That was a whole other process, though.
I didn't know how to make ringtones, but I think I knew how to make a song the ringtone, but not like the actual, the part. You know, like, the part that you wanted, but I knew how to turn the song on.
Yeah. There's a man named Daniel Eck. He's the founder of Spotify. He took all of this shit that everybody was doing and figured out a way to make it make sense, for real, and turned it into a whole nother thing that we all participate in to this day. And it's interesting because I remember, and I don't know if y'all are old enough to remember this, but when Napster first became the big thing back in the day, the only people that were publicly, like, supporting this. They went on a Napster tour with Limp Bizkit. Limp Bizkit got publicly behind. They said file sharing and this thing that we're doing with technology is going to be the future.
And these labels need to just accept that this is the future of shit. And obviously it was before streaming. But they were right. And they got in early and was like, no, we're going to let you quote unquote stream our music, but just shoot us some kind of back end royalty or whatever. And they went and did a tour around it. And when LimeWire, I think they shut Napster down and then came all the other P2P file sharing networks like LimeWire and HulkShare and stuff like that.
Now we went into torrents and stuff like, like none of this stuff is ever going to go anywhere. So what I think is to, to the point, to the article LimeWire, nobody's ever going to see that money because now they, all they did was figure out a way to charge niggas for it with the streaming shit. Like, YouTube music, Apple music, Spotify, whatever, whatever you use, they don't own none of that music. They're pulling it from a hard drive the same way we used to do to burn fucking CDs. It's just that you don't have the physical MP3 no more. You're just borrowing it. You get what I'm saying? Whatever streaming service you have is a big-ass mixed burn CD that they don't own anyway.
They just figured out a way to charge us for it.
I want to know who tweeted that.
Who tweeted what?
On LimeWire. On the LimeWire account.
On the LimeWire account.
Yeah, like, what made you wake up and remind us of that?
Get your shit off?
Yeah.
I like it.
They all verified.
I like when them companies be tweeting.
Yeah.
I seen American Airlines get a tweet off about Delta.
You know Delta back up there playing bumper planes.
Oh, for real?
Y'all didn't see that?
No, I didn't see that. Two planes crashed at LAX? No.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, yeah, see? Yep. Yeah, I'm going to stay out of the way. But, yeah, make sure you– we want some more names for the chat. We like immediate fam right now. That Krista lady not invited to the cookout right now.
I'm not going to get into it with her.
I don't want no smoke, though, either. Like, if she pull up– I'm not going to stop her from getting a plate.
Yeah, I'm going to make her a plate.
You know what I'm saying?
If she pull up, I'm making her a plate.
