Hi there, I'm Johnny Mac with five good news Halloween stories. Well, good news for me, the Tropical Smoothie Cafe has released its first ever Halloween smoothie. You gotta ask my daughter every day. I'm like, hey, go to Tropical and get me a smoothie. She never does it, though, and she's not gonna do it for this one either. But if I stop being lazy and go, I can get their new bright orange topped with purple popping boba. And made with Fanta. Well, Fanta orange flavored syrup. But still, you know, the boba might get her there. She likes boba. It is the Fanta Phantom Smoothie. I see what you did there. Cinnamon, mango, banana, orange.

That could work together. All this topped off with purple vanilla flavored popping boba. The Tropical Smoothie Cafe is serving the Fanta Phantom in its first ever clear smoothie cup. So you can see the orange drink and purple popping boba together. Why not? Are you driving a Rivian? Well, you're pretty fancy. Well, they've dressed up their vehicles for Halloween, and this year they're calling in reinforcements. In collaboration with Sony Pictures, they're bringing the Ghostbusters universe to all the vehicles through November 2nd. Thanks to an over-the-air update, Rivians will now feature a limited-time Halloween mode with the sounds, lights, and Easter eggs from the Ghostbusters universe. Halloween Mode transforms

your driver display by adding custom lights and sounds, custom lock sounds, a scavenger hunt feature, and Mallow Mash Mode, where the center screen pops mini-puff marshmallow men against the clock while parked. Custom exterior LED sequences include Ecto-1, Proton Pack, Slimer, Ghost Trap, or Peter Venkman. All that's paired with accompanying soundscapes that can be motion-activated. Wow! Rivian is even including a scavenger hunt inside the infotainment that sends you hunting for hidden characters tucked inside familiar screens. Nice job by the folks at the United Way in Muscatine County Center.

Children in Muscatine will have the opportunity to celebrate Halloween in costume at no cost, thanks to a community partnership led by United Way and several local orgs. Amber put this together. It was created to help families overcome the cost of purchasing Halloween costumes, which organizers say can be a financial burden for some households. The program is guided by the belief that every child deserves the chance to enjoy a Halloween. Meanwhile, Florida seems to be where it's at.

They've got all kinds of Halloween places to go. I don't know what to call them. Attractions? I don't know. One of them is the Haunt Fever Dream. We were told enter at your own risk. It's a 42,000-square-foot haunted attraction at the venue Fort Lauderdale. Four themes include Bloodbath the Jugular, The Last Vow, La Bruja's Wedding, Psycho Circus Delirium, and Florida Man, Toxic Inheritance. Love that one. The haunt will be open on select nights October 20th through the 30th. Meanwhile, in Miami, it's Sound of Screams, a 13-acre Halloween-themed amusement park.

There you can experience five immersive haunted houses. Themes are The Infected, The Witch Trials of 1692, Myths and Legends, Dead End, and The S.O.S. House. Hmm, you can also expect a Scare Zone, a Midway with Carnival Rides, and a horror-themed Treats, Street Foods, Draft Beer, and Signature Craft Cocktails.

And in Portland, they're doing Butterfingers, but it's But Her Finger. You see, Butterfinger candy bars normally don't contain fingers, but a cookie available at the Woodstock Cart Cookie McCake Face... It has fingers in it. But they're not real fingers. They're not maniacs. A peanut butter base is mixed with chopped peanuts and mini chocolate chips, then topped with a big old gummy finger. We're told, like all Cookie McCakeface cookies, it is served warm. My copywriter wonders, is it a middle finger? I don't know. Cookie McCakeface, but her finger.

Try not laughing while reading your podcast. And those are your five good news stories for today. Have a great day.
