Oh, I don't know if I'm ready for this. Time to catch a cheater. Going to Southington. Christina's on the line. Good morning, Christina.
Good morning.
Welcome to War of the Roses. I hope we can help you out with your husband, Jeremy.
Thank you.
All right. So you told the producer you think your husband, Jeremy, is cheating. Why do you think he's cheating? What's happening?
Yeah, I mean, he's been going to the school every night to walk the track. And lately he's just been walking especially long, like on Fridays especially. And on top of that, like my girlfriend texted me and told me that she saw my husband walking with another woman last week. And they weren't like working out walking. They were like walking together closely and talking kind of thing.
Okay.
Huh.
Well, I don't know. I mean, I know a lot of people walk the track. That's what they do. You know what I mean? He's going to see other people walking the track. But your friend didn't know who this girl was?
No, and it looked a little bit more intimate than just, like, walking and talking kind of thing.
Maybe he found, like, a walking buddy? But it still looked intimate? You mean, like, they weren't, you know, power walking?
What my friend said, she said that it looked like a couple. They were a couple walking.
Ooh.
As somebody that likes to hang out at the track and people watch because I do it twice a week because you soccer because I'm a soccer coach and the tracks right there. Oh, I do see like a lot of like parents walking a track and I'm like, boy, those people are really close. I wonder if there are significant others know that they're kind of like.
Or are they really?
Bumping shoulders and stuff like that, laughing, having a good time.
Are you serious?
Oh, yeah. 100%, Courtney.
Do people use this as a... Is this a thing?
I don't know.
You drop your kids off at, like, practice or whatever.
You're sitting there for an hour and a half. You got nothing to do.
Why not?
Next thing you know, you're in the porter potty, hanging, hooking up.
Stop.
I mean, I do mean to laugh. I'm sorry.
I apologize.
Christina, ignore him. I get it. I know what you're saying. You drop the kids off, and you might like, why not get a little workout in? But in Jeremy's case, he's been going there by himself without kids playing any type of sport, and now he's walking with some chick, some random woman.
Yeah, so I'm very concerned.
All right, we're going to get to the bottom of it. This is what we're going to do. We're going to call up Jeremy. We're going to offer him a dozen roses. You'll be listening in. I mean, you know what War of the Roses is all about. If you're comfortable, jump in, and you can confront him, or we can do it for you, okay?
Okay, sounds good.
I'm thinking I'm going to go Valley Girl as the florist.
I'm going to go with character.
Hello?
Hi, is this, like, Jeremy? Yeah, this is him.
Hey, Jeremy, this is Taylor. Just giving you a quick call this morning. I work for Flowers Express here in Southington, and I'm supposed to call you and.
Let you know that you won our online weekly contest. So, yeah, like, congrats.
What do you mean I won a contest?
I don't know, bro.
Like my manager gave me your name and number and said, hey, call this guy. He won a dozen roses. So like here I am.
All right.
So what do you what do you what do you want me to do?
So basically what's going to happen from here is I'm going to get your information and I'm going to send these flowers to somebody on your behalf. My manager said something about I can't send them to you. I have to send them to somebody else because it's like a marketing thing or whatever.
But he told me, like, not to take any payment. So I guess it's, like, free.
I mean, you guess it's free?
Okay.
This is strange. What do you need from me at the moment? Okay.
So basically, like, with these roses, I guess you get a card. And so I can start by writing down a message if you want to, like, do that or whatever.
If you don't, it's fine. I can move on with my day.
Just, like, let me know.
Okay, sure. Yeah, I'll send some roses to somebody.
Okay, cool. I have a pen. Okay, what would you like to write?
Let's say I would walk miles for you.
Okay, I would walk M-I-L-E-S.
Yeah, that's how you spell miles. Okay, cool.
Got you. I got you. Oh, and I didn't get a name. I feel like we have to put a name on the card, right? Like that's what people do? Yeah, yeah.
We'll send them to Juliana.
Juliana.
Okay, we're sending flowers to Juliana.
Who the hell is Juliana?
Who the.
Jeremy, that is your wife, Christina. Ooh, I'm glad you recognized her voice. You didn't recognize the florist, the valley girl florist with Savannah. Walmart Jeff's on the line. This is Courtney. You're on the radio. You're on KISS 95.7. Go ahead, Christina.
Are you kidding me right now, Jeremy? Who is Juliana?
Juliana. Who are these people calling me? You're calling me with these Rose people.
Well, I mean, you've been acting strange lately, staying out at the track really late. I've just been suspicious of what's going on, and obviously I was right.
Yeah, I've been out at the track late. It would have been nice to see you out there sometime.
Oh, well, I'm sorry. I'm just taking care of the house and making sure everything's good at home and, you know, working 40 hours a week. But sure, let me drop everything I'm doing so you don't go and hang out with Juliana.
Is Juliana the girl you've been walking with at the track? Who's Juliana?
I mean, I don't even know who you are, but yeah, Julian is my partner that I walk with at the track.
All right.
I don't know who you are either, so that's good.
You don't want to talk to me, so what are you talking about? I'm not insulting you. I'm trying to get information for your wife.
I'm trying to get information for your wife. I'm sorry, Jeremy. You just sent roses to another woman, and you're a married man, so you need to talk to your wife and explain it to Christina, not me.
I don't need it.
Talk to anybody. Yeah, you do. Juliana, yeah, me and her, we walk together. I sent her some roses. I mean, it would never even happen if my wife was out there walking with us.
Don't turn it around on your wife.
Yeah, I don't think it's fair to say that your wife needs to babysit you.
Christina.
What is fair? What do you guys know about fair? You're bothering people.
I mean, are you guys hooking up? What's going on?
I'm not going to sit here and air all this out. Yeah, me and Juliana got a thing. Like I said, it wouldn't even be an issue if you would take care of yourself, but you don't want to do that.
Wow.
Oh my God.
I can't believe this. Like literally like, how could you do this to me?
I don't like you turning it around on your wife. In fact, I'm going to just, can we just get rid of him? He's making me want to vomit in my mouth. You're turning it around on your wife saying if she would work out or whatever, get fit, you wouldn't be cheating on her with this girl, Juliana. I can't, I can't have that. I'm sorry. Is there anything else you want to say to him, Christina, before I hang up on him and then you can talk to him later?
I'm just disgusted right now, honestly. I need to call a lawyer at this point.
Yeah.
We offer couples counseling. We'll pay for the tab. You can go together and try to work through it, whatever you choose. You can go by yourself if you want, okay?
Well, I appreciate it, guys.
Okay.
I'm so sorry. Hold on. Hold on, Christina.
