Are you guys ready to get some answers for Allison in Middletown this morning? Yeah, let's do it. All right. Good morning, Allison.
Good morning.
Welcome to the show. I hope we can help you out today.
I hope so, too.
You sound a little stressed. Tell us, why do you think your husband Jason's cheating? What's going on?
Okay. So he travels for work at least two weekends a month, right? Okay. And he goes to Chicago. His investment firm has an office there. And that was all, you know, that's fine. But the last few months, he's just been acting so strange when he's out of town.
Okay. So how is he acting strange? Like, what is he doing or not doing?
Didn't answer his phone at night anymore and his excuse is always that he fell asleep it doesn't matter what time that what time I called and then I found a receipt for Walmart in Chicago for a bunch of infant toys and clothes and we don't have children was it a charity maybe was.
It a did he go to a charity event good one.
Savannah like is it's that are they collecting that kind of stuff yet for the holidays?
No, why not?
There's no way he wouldn't mention that.
Does he have relatives in Chicago with young children? None.
He doesn't have any family there. The whole thing is just work and come home. That was the agreement.
I kind of give him a pass on that one. What do you mean? Wait a minute, Jeff. He's not answering his phone at night and all of a sudden there's a receipt for like children's clothing.
But you know how you go to Walmart and you throw a couple of those like plastic bags in your cart and then you put them in your car or whatever. You're walking with them and you notice that there's a receipt in the carriage and you just grab it and throw it in your bag and on with your day. So maybe it was someone else's receipt that he was picking up trash.
All right.
Sure, but then why keep it? Why would he keep it and bring it all the way back home?
I don't know. But also why, he's also acting strange at night, you said. He's not answering his phone at night?
Exactly.
Okay. Okay, this is great. I feel like we need to, this is what we're going to do. You'll be listening in. You know what War of the Roses is all about. We'll offer him roses. We'll see if we can get some information out of him. If you want to talk to him at any point, feel free, okay? I will. All right, we're going to put you on hold. You'll be listening in.
It is.
I mean, it's not holiday season, but I feel like Savannah, you're right. Maybe it was some weird toy drive. Because they have like those giving angels.
Yeah.
Hello. Hi, is this Jason? Yeah. Who's this?
Hi, Jason. This is Michaela over at Flowers Express in Middletown. How are you this morning?
I'm good. How are you?
I'm good. Thank you so much for asking.
That's so kind.
No one ever asked me how I'm doing, so thank you. But I'm just giving you a quick courtesy call this morning to let you know that you are the winner of our online weekly contest. You just won a dozen free roses completely free of charge.
Congratulations.
Wow. Online contest. I don't remember signing up for that.
Yeah, I'll be straight with you.
Probably didn't.
We buy third-party marketing lists. We're brand new in town, so this is kind of our way of branching out. You know, people kind of realizing that we're a great service. We have beautiful flowers. We have some very, very talented floral designers in-house here. So yeah, we got your name off of a third-party marketing list, and we're willing to send you a dozen free roses.
Can I send them? Does it have to be in-state, or can I send them out-of-state? Good question.
I've never had this come up. Let me ask my manager. Let me put you on a brief hold.
Sure.
Sure.
Hi, are you still there?
Yeah.
Okay, cool. So I just spoke with my manager. They said it's totally fine to send.
Out of state. Awesome.
Yeah. Great. Yeah, then I've got somebody in mind in Chicago.
Oh, in Chicago.
Wow. Okay, awesome. Well, what's great about these flowers is they also come with a card. If I can start with a message, that would be helpful.
Okay.
Yeah, how about you put.
In there, I can't wait to see you and my beautiful baby boy. Can't wait to.
See you and my beautiful baby boy. Okay.
Yep.
Are you a new dad?
That sounds exciting.
Yeah, yeah. I'm not super new, but pretty new, yeah. I've got an eight-month-old son in Chicago, my girlfriend Morgan.
Well, congratulations.
Are you f * * * ing serious? Jason, you have a girlfriend and an eight-month-year-old?
Jason, I got to jump in. It's Courtney. Walmart Jeff is on the line. Savannah's the florist. That is your wife, Allison. Go ahead, Allison.
I can't believe this. I can't believe this. You are a liar. How could you do this?
How does this even make sense?
Listen.
Are you kidding me?
We're on the radio right now. Okay, this is probably... I was going to talk to you about this. Can we not talk about this on the radio, please?
Jason, you have a girlfriend and you have an eight-month-old son?
I was going to talk to you about it. Dude, you had.
Eight months to talk to her about it.
Oh, I can't stay up. I'm working so hard. This is all a lie. You are a liar.
It's not the easiest thing to bring up in the world. Okay, I've been going through a lot. Okay, I've been wanting to talk to you about it. I think I probably need to go to counseling. I don't know. There's a lot going on. I don't know if that matters to you. Does that matter right now?
So basically, the receipt that Allison found for children's clothing and toys was for your son in Chicago.
How do you know about that? Allison, did you set this up?
I can't.
Did you set this up?
Don't even try to turn it around on her.
Clearly, there's a lot going on.
Okay, I don't.
Feel great about it, but it is what it is.
You got caught. You're a liar. You have a whole double life. You didn't have enough humility to say I'm sorry. Listen to yourself. All you're concerned about is being on the radio. Why aren't you concerned that you're living a double life?
Valentine. I just want to let, can we let Jason go? Jason, you're going to talk with Alison. You can do a privately off the air.
Can we just, that would be great. I would love to do that privately off the air.
Thank you. And I want to talk to Alison for a second. So let's just put Jason on hold. Alison, are you there? I am so incredibly sorry. This is what I want to do because I know, well, now that you know, and that Jason's willing to talk to you, I want to offer the counseling and maybe your first conversation.
And I will call a counselor right now and see if they're available today.
Yeah, we can do it. We can do it.
Okay. It's an option. I'm going to put you on hold. Let's talk off the air, but we will take care of any type of counseling, marriage counseling that you want. We will pick up the tab. And if you want to have a counselor standing by today, I will make it happen. Okay.
Okay.
Okay. Hold on. Hold on.
