All right, Tanya is definitely one of those people that loves a good read about relationships and workbooks about relationships. How to Find the One was one of the most popular. And now she's found another handbook workbook. Is this a relationship workbook?
No, this one's called The Artist's Way.
Oh, I know this one. You do?
Okay, I don't.
Tell me.
Okay, so it's 12 weeks. No, I'm out. No, no, no. No, no, no. It's 12 weeks, one chapter a week. And the chapters are small. It's not so much reading. However, every single day when you wake up, you have to write three pages. And it's just called brain dumping. And you have to take yourself on a solo date once a week. I know about brain dumping.
Tanya, we have worked. responsibilities, not enough time in the day. I'm setting my.
Alarm for 2 45 AM tomorrow to get these pages done before I come into work. So if I can do that, you can also do this as well.
That's tragic.
By the way, I bought these books for my kids to write them a letter on their birthday every year.
First of all, surveys isn't even started. No, but the twins, I stopped when they were three.
It's not about, you don't have to write like a book. You just brain dump. Whatever your thing can be, to-do lists, it can be what you dreamt about. It can literally be anything, okay?
And what's the point?
The point of this book is to stop living. It's like to unleash, if you're living and if you're working from a place of fear or perfectionism, like you don't start things because you don't want to fail. It's supposed to kind of unlock this like creative thing artist in you, if you will. It's not the artist in the technical term.
It's supposed to bring out this creativity in you that maybe has fell side of fear or other things going on in your life.
I like the concept of it. I just don't want to do the work. I'm doing it.
I can hold you guys accountable because I'm also in it.
That's terrifying. Did you do your workbook?
Did you do your morning pages?
I don't know. I have also a workbook right here. It's from the School of Life franchise. The Couples Workbook.
Who are you coupling with?
Who are you doing this with? No, I have it in advance. I have it here.
Oh, you're ready when she comes.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Nice.
I like that. It's called Manifestation.
Really? Is that what it's called?
Yeah.
So it's got all kinds of things in here to work on being a couple. The scale of ambition. Does someone else have this book? No, I just, someone recommended it.
Should I do that one too?
Well, I don't know. This is, this is, it's very interesting. There's a lot of blank page. You got to write in the modern understanding of love is dominated by a quest for compatibility. Think back to your exes. In what ways were you not really compatible? You write that down. Wow. Compatibility is not the prediction of love. It's the achievement of love.
I like the book.
Aesthetically, it's nice to look at. When you meet somebody and you want to make sure it's going to work, you sit down and you say, okay, in what significant ways are we compatible? What do we argue about? In what significant ways are you and your partner incompatible? What are the main topics you argue about? So you put all this out there. Yeah.
That feels like a good book to read before you get married.
I think it's for when you do meet your person or when you're like courting or whatever, starting, then you can kind of see how it's going to go. You'll realize, like, do you raise your voice?
So maybe you start that when you find a partner. And right now you guys do the artist way with me.
No, I'm going to do this one on my own. I'm just really busy. It's a good one. It's highly recommended. So there it is. Yeah, you do that, I'll do this, we do we. I need like book on tape. Audible. And that's not reading. You can't say you read the book when you Audible it. Audible is like the only way I could actually digest books.
