Scrubbing in with Becca Tilly and Tanya Radd, an iHeartRadio and two-time People's Choice Award-winning podcast.

Hello, everybody!

We are scrubbing in.

Happy Thursday.

Happy Thursday. I was thinking about how... Remember how we.

Were talking about the Taylor Swift decoding thing and then it ended up being my.

Debut album or something?

But then.

That whole jargon of words that people had scrambled up.

Was about Patient Zero and Dakota Johnson and everything?

Yeah, it was North and South.

So all of that.

Just spelled out that sentence about her first album or whatever for nothing?

You know what I'm saying?

Yeah, that is kind of random. So it spelled out my first records we recorded on November 10th. Now, we don't know if that still could be the case.

But how strange if that just coincidentally.

Spells that out.

Unless she's just really messing with people.

No, but there's so many things. Like, I watched a whole thing about her coming out for Dakota's thing and how she, like, hit Dakota's back at exactly, like, 319.

3 plus 9.

Plus 1 is... 13 or something. And then Dakota's monologue was exactly certain amount, like minutes. And then you add those numbers up and it's 13.

That to me is different than these words, spelling something out.

That's very specific.

Well, it's not a coincidence. So either maybe a writer at the Emmys, I'm sorry, was it the Emmys? Yeah. Put that in there to mess with people. Like who knows? There's probably an explanation somewhere, but I don't think it's just a coincidence.

Well, we'll just have to wait till November 10th.

It's all we can do.

Yeah.

Crazy. Um, How are you doing on this fine day?

Doing great, you know, just enjoying the heat wave, just riding it out.

We're almost done. We're almost done. Just stay the course. Have you done your solo date yet?

She's so funny, that Beccatilly, you know, she's such a little giggle puss.

A giggle puss.

No, I haven't yet, but I will do two by the end of this week.

Oh, great.

Have you done your solo?

Of course not. Yeah.

We should do our solos at the same time, but just do them separately.

It's not feeling very solo.

No, not the same place.

Yeah.

It's just so that we can hold each other accountable. I think holding each other accountable is like a huge thing.

Yeah.

I remember when you tried to hold me accountable, like about exercising and stuff.

That was the wrong role for me. Let me tell you.

No, you're really good at holding people accountable. I am, but you don't receive it. I'm just not being good at being held accountable.

Becca does not receive it well. She either goes to you or she just.

Why that happened? Like, I don't know what my.

Because I've always been such a people pleaser and wanting to do the right thing and do things the right way. So I don't know where there was a switch in my brain of being like, nah.

By the way, somebody messaged me after our date last weekend and they were like, I don't know why this makes me so emotional, but like you, you recently said on the podcast, how you feel like there's distance between you and Becca. And then she, you guys go out on a date and she does this like dedication reel to you. She's a real one. And I was like, she is.

And don't forget about it.

I don't, I don't, I don't take it for granted.

I think it's just, you know what it is, is that even though I don't like being held accountable and I don't like being told what to do, I really have a, I've realized how significant my friends are in my life and how I have so much, especially my friends. Cause everyone's like in a different, everyone's busy. Like everyone has like partners and kids and schedules and jobs. And it's like, I have, first of all, the freedom in my job, I have freedom with time. I have freedom with, you know, like my existence in life and not having kids.

And I have the, the like capacity to do things and show up in spaces.

And I'm always like, if I don't do that, then what's the point?

You know, like if I don't use my time towards something that, that gives back to me.

I'm going to give you credit for that because I like, there was a stretch of like, I had a stretch of like four days where I had like nothing to do. Like it was very stressful. not normal. Like I just had like four days of nothing and no plans and I could not motivate myself to even like go on a walk on those days. So because you have that freedom to your schedule, like I think because I'm so strict on like a schedule with work and picking up kids and dah, dah, dah, I have to stay like motivated and kind of like go, go, go. But when you remove all that, it's very hard to get yourself.

So the fact that you are getting yourself to this point is an accomplishment.

Well, I was thinking, like, when Haley was in Europe, I went over.

And I saw Allie and, like, went with them and helped with Remy and, like, got to spend time with them. And then Tuesday I asked Brittany what she was doing and I went over to her house and helped with the kids because her husband Michael was out of town.

And I was like, you just got to, you know, if you want to see your friends in this season, you've got to go.

You've got to show up. Yeah.

Make it happen.

Had to rearrange your date night to get time outside of the podcast with you.

Shout out to the Valium.

Not taking it.

I was proud of myself, actually.

Yeah, you have.

A weirdly high pain tolerance, but sometimes not. If you're in your head about pain, it's not high.

It's not. It's, I agree. I think I have like a weirdly high threshold for pain. However, I think that I have a lot of anxiety and Valium is for your anxiety, not for pain.

Have you always had anxiety or is it new?

I think it's new. Because like all this stuff that's going on, do you know what I mean? Like it's very anxiety inducing. So you don't know what's happening. You don't know. You know what I mean? Like I'm doing all these things for the first time. Yeah.

But I've always associated you with like the need of being in control, like how you need to be in control.

Yeah.

With everything.

And if it's not so much anxiety as it is like, I guess anxiety over.

Not having control.

Yeah.

It's something you don't have control over.

And you know what's so interesting? So I posted on Instagram that I was like getting this procedure done and debating whether to take the volume or not. And the, difference of messages I got from some people being like, I've gotten that procedure done before. It was the worst pain of my entire life. Like you have to take the pill. And then other people being like, it was totally easy breezy. I was fine. Like you don't need the pill. And I'm like, it just goes to show you that everybody's experience and everything is so different. Like you can't like go online and read reviews because you have no idea how you're going to react to it.

Do you know what I mean? Like it was fine for me. It but some people say it's like the worst thing that they've ever experienced. Like even my, the nurse that was helping me says like, she's, she has people like scream in the room and stuff. Like you just have no idea.

Did she tell you that before or after?

No, after.

Whoa, that's intense.

No, definitely after. But it made me realize like everybody's experience with everything is so different, you know? And same with like childbirth. Some people have like easy breezy childbirth and some people have like the most traumatic experiences ever. So it's just like, You never know what you're going to get.

It's so true.

So you just got to ride it out. Ride the wave.

Ride the wave and do what's best for you.

Yeah.

I remember someone said that lip filler was not painful at all. I think it's so painful. It hurts me so bad. I did it once.

I'll never do it again.

Never.

No pain is worth that. Like nothing.

Not me.

I keep going back.

Really?

Yeah, because it's momentary.

But I always think the people who say it's not painful, I'm like, you're a beast.

Beast.

Congrats.

Yeah.

So, yeah. Okay, shall we do a Dear Banya?

We do have one.

Okay.

One.

It's getting bleak out there, guys.

Well, there were some issues with emails being routed to the right places. We think Easton has solved the situation. Okay.

Yeah.

Anyway, this is an anonymous scrub sister who said, Hello, Tanya, Becca, Mark, and Easton. One of my best friends, who's also a scrubber, is starting the egg retrieval and transfer process this month with IVF, sending her all the baby dust and prayers that her long fertility journey ends with a very happy ending soon. I know so many scrubbers, including our strong and resilient Tanya, are in their TTC era, and I thought it would be fitting to send all of our fellow scrubbers the most positive thoughts, prayers, and baby dust, no matter what their journey has looked like. Tanya... Sharing her journey has made both of us, I'm also TTC, feel so seen and can relate, sending so much love and hope to you all. And that being said, how

can friends best support someone in this TTC journey?

Oof.

Made me emotional.

I think the thing that I've realized is, like, unless you've experienced it, like, you really, really, really, like, can't understand. Even, like, men, I don't think, can really understand, like, Robbie's in the best partner. Like I literally couldn't ask for like anything better from him. But I really feel like it's like this feeling that like you can only really relate to if you've experienced it. And I feel like sometimes people say things to like try to be there for you.

But it's like a comment that like just stings even more. So I've just realized like there are a few people in my life that I can talk to about it that like just really like listen and like don't really. It's not even about giving opinions. It's just like, you know, I don't even know. Like just, I'm trying to think of like a comment that I'm just like, can't you just get drunk and have sex? You know I mean like even that like is just like yes I know that works for some people but like I've been killing myself for a year you know I mean like of course I wish I could just get drunk and have sex like I think that a lot of people try to like say things to make you feel better and it just like makes you feel so much worse so

I feel like if you have a friend that's going through it really just like listen to them and like check in and like be there but like don't offer an opinion don't offer advice unless they ask you your opinion and like ask you for advice and I feel like that's why you've been like one of the people that I'm like really only sharing with because you just you don't I don't know it's like I don't know it's tough.

Well I think I I I think I even said something on a podcast about, oh, yeah, you can just, you know, relax and.

You know, have sex.

And it's like, I think I didn't realize, I think someone posted on like the Facebook group of me coming across like dismissive or like insensitive. And I think it put things into perspective that it's something that I think, and I've shared with you, like, I'm like, if I ever say anything that comes across insensitive or dismissive, like, please tell me because... I feel so far removed from what you're going through. And you were like, yeah, it's not something you can get unless you're going through it.

But I also want to be able to be a good friend and not say things that make it worse or make it feel heavier.

No, but I remember that because I remember seeing all that stuff on the Facebook group. And so I was like, what was it in that podcast? And I think that it was like, I think I was saying something about I don't remember exactly, but I got my period or something. It was like, I was having like a down day and it was like one of those days or it was when you came back from seeing Jojo, her baby and like talking about Brady's first birth. It was like a lot of baby talk from you. And I think that people were just like, how could she like, that was like a really weird, like dynamic. But I'm also like, that's a season of life that I'm in too. Like I can't go on social media without somebody in my life,

literally making a pregnancy announcement. Like it's crazy. So it's like, it's not on you. You have no idea. That's like, this is your life and that's, it's my life too.

Do you know what I mean?

Like we're just sharing our lives. I don't, and I never took it as like insensitive or like anything from you because you, you, there's no way you would be able to understand. Do you know what I mean? So it was like, I never took it as you being dismissive or anything because I just think you're just being yourself.

And I think it's really hard. Yeah. Well, I also, and that's why I was so hesitant to just like talk about it because I also feel like it is so sensitive people listening. Like they might not want, they might just want a podcast to just like laugh and like escape from it. Do you know what I mean? Like that's how it is for me too. Like I don't want to sit here and talk about all the shit I'm going through for an hour.

Do you know what I mean?

Cause I want to like escape. And so it's just like tough, like finding that middle ground.

I was talking to Haley about it and I was like, I'm, I feel like I'm having, I have a hard time sometimes knowing if I'm being a good friend to you or saying the right thing. And She's like, but you know how to be a good friend to Tanya. Like, what are the things that make Tanya happy? And so that's why I was like, oh my gosh, like I do know what makes Tanya happy. Like, so we should go get dinner together or I answer her FaceTime calls and talk to her. You know, it's like, even though I might not, I don't know if there is a right thing to say other than just being there and listening.

I think it's like showing up for your friends in ways that without it needing to be about what you're going through, but just like showing up how you would always show up.

And I also think that I was going to.

Ask you too, because, well, specifically for the answering this question, but you were like saying like, check in on them. But it's like, if you're having a break from not thinking about it, I never want to check in and then put your mind on it again.

So like, I know, I know. It's like, yeah, sometimes it's tough because you're just like, You're dealing with something and then you get asked about it and then you have to relive it. You know what I mean?

So it is.

It's crazy. It's so crazy.

Yeah.

But I would say the way you can show up for your friend is by being their friend in every other season of life that you know how to be their friend. And just being more of a listener and not giving advice unless you're asked to give an opinion.

But I do ask you for your advice because I do value your opinion because I do feel like you're so... neutral about things, um, where I feel like everybody has like such a strong opinion, like either way. Um, yeah, it's tough.

Well, I love you. You're doing great. Highs and lows.

Oh man.

I will say for all intensive purposes, um, I'm not like always sad. I'm not like, I haven't been sad all year. I have moments where I get like sad and emotional, but I think also my baseline is like so grateful for my life and what I have. And, and I do have a lot of joy in my life. So I'm not just like depressed.

I've seen you and talked to you multiple times last week. And this is the first time I've seen you cry. So it's not like every time.

Yes.

Right.

Yeah. Like every time I talk about it, I'm not crying. Like I, I think I'm like on a pretty, um, I'm pretty okay. But I do think that I'm also rare in that sense. I do think that a lot of people that are on this journey can feel very like defeated and deflated. And like, I've just gone down so many rabbit holes of like reading things and like people that have to quit their jobs because they want to focus all their energy on trying to conceive. And like, it's crazy. So yeah, it's crazy. But it's just a blip.

It's a blip and it's also, you.

Know, everyone is on their own journey and navigating it in a way that works for them.

Yeah.

So that was a really nice email, anonymous scrub sister. And we're sending you all the baby dust prayers and positive thoughts.

Definitely.

All right, we're going to get into some games.

Mark, can we do, before Family Feud, can we do the 10 thing?

Yeah, you got it.

Okay, and we'll be right back.

We're back. We're back.

I have 10 things here, 10 categories.

If there's anything that's going to snap me out of my crying is games.

You only did four last week before you said the same thing.

That's so sad.

The goal is to not say the same thing. Does everyone make sure you don't have it in front of you? I don't.

I'm just going to throw it.

Yeah, good.

Sorry.

I just have my Dear Banya email.

Here we go. I'll say the category. I'll give you three seconds. You blurt out the same thing. You have to blurt something out. By the way, if you don't blurt anything out, game's over.

Okay.

Here we go. Do not say the same thing. A room in the house. Three, two, one.

Dining.

Soda. Three, two, one.

Mountain Dew.

Oh, that was close.

Sitcom. Three, two, one.

Seinfeld.

I've never watched Seinfeld in my life. But dangerous choices there. Reality show. Three, two, one.

Bachelor.

Board game. Three, two, one.

Twinopoly.

Oh, I had the same one twice. Sorry. I'll fix that. Breakfast food. Three, two, one.

Bacon.

Sausage.

That was really close. They're all too aligned.

Fast food. Three, two, one.

Burger King.

Is that fast food?

That's so.

Cracker Barrel is really not fast food. I'm not sure what the rules say about that necessarily.

That can be a debate.

Well, I didn't know.

Well, you could have picked one that you know is fast food. In and out.

Audible. Moving on.

Hair color. Three, two, one.

Brunette.

Season. Three, two, one. Summer. And finally, side of a coin. Three, two, one.

Tails. Tails. Wow.

We had 50-50 on that last one.

Well, that's why I put it last.

But you know what?

What?

I think the scrubbers are going to fight that Cracker Barrel.

I think so. I think Cracker Barrel cost you.

It might be. It might be.

How would I know what Cracker Barrel is? I've never been to one.

Don't say that. But Becca was.

Talking about it the other day.

I remember it. It was three days ago. I remember it clearly.

Well, can you come up with 10 more?

We'll play again later.

Later?

No.

Next week.

The pitch, the tone is so high.

If Charlie Puth were here, he could tell us exactly what that note is.

We almost did it. I think Chipotle, we could have gotten away with fast food.

Yeah, I'll give you that one.

I think Cracker Barrel's a full sit-down restaurant.

Full service restaurant. I'll give you counter service.

Well, give us one more.

Come on.

No, I'm sorry. It's a failure. I'm sorry. We're going to do it again next week.

But like, Almost so impressive.

I mean, really good. Yeah.

Cracker Barrel's crazy, though. It was on top of my mind.

That's what I go with, what's on the top of my mind.

Well, that's a good strategy.

I blame you, Mark.

When all else fails, blame Mark.

All right, you want to play the feud?

Yes!

All right, here we go. Playing the feud. All right, so everyone knows how this game is played. Everybody has a question. Becca and Tanya buzz in and try to name the most popular answer. Then they get control of the board. They get three strikes. For this first one, I pulled from Ranker. I like to do one that's specific to you guys, not just a generic family food question.

So I pulled this off of Ranker, and I gave you the top 12. So there's a lot here. And you can use that as part of your strategy if you'd like. Here we go. Our first question, top 12 answers on the board. Here we go. What is, the Ranker people were asked, what is the greatest romantic comedy of all time?

Tanya.

Tanya.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

That is number eight. Seven will beat it. Becca?

I'm going to say When Harry Met Sally.

When Harry Met Sally is number nine.

Oh, dang.

I've never even seen that. I just thought maybe it'd be up there.

That's a good answer. Tanya controls the board. What do you think, Tanya? Play or pass?

I'm going to play.

How many do I have to get? You have to get ten more.

You can do it.

It's a lot.

Come on. You can do this.

The Notebook.

The Notebook? Oh, boy. Not on there.

Sorry.

It's not a rom-com. Yeah, it's not really a comedy.

At all.

Say it again. It's a drama.

Romantic comedy. Romantic comedy of all time.

Oh, my gosh. Well, that would have been nice to have been made clear.

It was. It was very clear. Again, it's my fault.

The Wedding Planner.

The Wedding Planner. I'm sorry. That's your second strike. Sorry.

No.

That's crazy. That is criminal.

Take it up with Rancor.

Monster-in-law?

Oh, my God. That's a real Hail Mary. No, that's not on the list. All right, so, Becca, that's your three strikes. You have ten to choose from here, and you get the first question if you get any of these ten.

Pretty Woman?

Pretty Woman's number seven. Very nice. There you go. And Becca takes the first question. So, to review, here they are, because you're going to have some issues with some of these, and that's fine.

Yeah.

But, you know, the goal is to get as many as you could. Number one, ten things I hate about you.

That's fine. Wait, what?

Oh, she won that? Yeah.

Because I just had to guess one higher than the one you guessed.

Number two is The Princess Bride, which I don't know. I question that being included. But number three, Clueless, which again, I don't think of that as a romantic comedy necessarily.

The Notebook didn't make it?

Well, that's not a comedy. There's no two different genres.

Number four, Legally Blonde.

These are not a rom.

How about The Proposal?

Yes. Great romantic comedy.

Princess Diaries?

No.

No.

How about While You Were Sleeping? That's a good one.

I've never seen it.

Oh my gosh, you should watch that.

Sandra Bullock, you'd like that one. You've Got Mail, that's a classic.

Classic.

And Sleepless in Seattle. And really the reason I went to 12 is because I felt some of those top ones were not going to be guests, so I gave you a couple that I thought might be. Anyway, that's a point for Becca.

I was going to do Sleepless in Seattle.

I wasn't going to do any of those.

Well, Wedding Planner should be on the list for sure.

Question number two. Top eight answers on the board. Here's the question. Name an occasion for which you might wear your lucky underwear.

Becca.

Becca.

First date.

First date is the number one answer. You may play or pass. Pass. Interesting strategy. Tanya, we go to you. There are seven up here. An occasion for which you might wear your lucky underwear.

Game day.

A sporting event is up there.

Yes.

Very nice. That's number four.

Buying a lottery ticket.

I'm going to give you gambling. Gambling is up there at number three. So that's a little bit of a stretch, but I'll take it.

Okay.

I'm going to wear my lucky underwear to the gyno.

It's not up there. I'm sorry.

I'm going to wear my lucky underwear to my wedding.

Wedding night is up there. Very nice. Good job. Okay. You're on a roll here. You have four of the eight. You're halfway home. Four more. One strike, you got two to burn.

I'm going to wear my lucky underwear to a concert.

I'm sorry, no. That's the second strike. One more strike. By the way, I think all of these are legitimate answers, as opposed to the last question. I think you'll agree. Where are you going to wear your lucky underwear? The number two answer is still up there, as well as six, seven, and eight.

I'm going to wear my lucky underwear to a job audition, job interview.

Job interview is the number two answer. Very nice. Here we go. Three more.

I'm going to wear my lucky underwear to my.

Three seconds.

To my in-laws.

Oh, in-laws.

Okay. No, that is not up there. All right, Becca, you can steal, but it's the bottom three. So it's a tough guess here. You got three up there. What do you think? For a commanding lead in this game.

Okay, so if I'm wearing my lucky underwear, I would say like on a flight, on a plane.

I'm sorry, no. Tanya takes that one. Here are the final three. Your anniversary.

Oh.

Valentine's Day. Oh, duh. And an exam, like a final exam in school. Never. Never would do that?

Never would do that.

That's for luck. Lucky underwear. All right. No, that was not rancor.

Oh.

All right.

Question number three. This is anyone's game. Here we go. Buzz in with your name. Top six answers on the board. Here's the question. For the months of October. Name something that might make you suspect your new house is haunted.

Becca.

Becca Tilly.

I would say weird sounds.

Noises and voices is the number one answer. Very nice. But keep that in mind. Noises and voices are taken. Don't guess voices. Would you like to play or pass, Becca?

I'm going to pass.

I'm going to pass that one over to Tanya. You got five answers up there. Three strikes. What do you think, Tanya? What would make you think your house is haunted? Ghosts. Ghosts is the number five answer. Very nice.

That's all I got.

Keep it going. You can do this. Shadows. Shadows is not up there. Nope. That's one strike.

Cold air.

Cold air is a very good guess. It is not on there. No. Two strikes.

Cold air is a very good guess.

It is.

Thank you, Mark.

Um, flickering lights.

Flickering lights is number three. Very good. That is up there.

If I were the weekend, I would say flashing lights.

Uh-huh. Sure. Isn't that Kanye? Yeah.

Uh, okay. Um, what would make me think my house is haunted? Um, Tombstone's in my backyard.

No, I'm sorry. That's not it. And that is your third strike. We go over to Becca. You may steal number two, number four, number six are up there. All you need is one of them. Oh, I have one.

Oh.

Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm. See, the idea is you're supposed to be ready for this, because while Tanya was guessing, you had yours ready.

Mine was flickering.

Lights, and she guessed it. I'm sorry. Here we go. Three seconds. I need an answer.

I'm going to say electricity going in and out.

I'm sorry. No, Tanya takes that one. Is Black Cat one of them? No, that's not up there. Objects moving by themselves.

Well, okay.

Is that not noises and voices?

No, it's neither of those things.

That's objects moving by themselves.

Doors opening and closing.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

And weird odors.

Oh.

That could be a cold breeze.

No, it's not. But hey, Tanya's got two. Becca's got one. Tanya, you can win the whole thing.

That's what it sounds like.

If you get this one. Question number four. Name something that grows faster than you want it to. Tanya. Tanya.

Ear hair.

Hair is the number one answer.

Pure hair.

But also keep in mind that this encompasses all body hair.

Okay, that's crazy because I was about to go to nipple.

I was about to go all over the body.

You're going niche. Yeah.

Toe.

Nope.

Hair is taken. Damn.

How many are there?

Six answers. Five more to go.

Repeat the question one more time.

Name something that grows faster than you want it to. Tanya, you can play or pass here.

I'm going to play. Okay.

Weeds.

Weeds is the number two answer. Very good.

Lawn.

Weeds.

Repeat the question one more time.

Name something that grows faster than you want it to.

Nails.

Your nails are the number five answer. Very nice. Four more.

One more time.

Name something that grows faster than you want it to. Children. Children is number three. Look at you go. You're on a roll. You have all three strikes left.

I can feel it. I can taste it.

Two more answers up there. Three strikes.

It's helping me when you repeat it.

One more time. Name something that grows faster than you want it to.

Dogs?

Sorry, no. Not up there.

I know.

I would say eyebrows, but that's hair.

That was body hair, yes. In fact, they specifically had unibrow as hair slash unibrow.

Wow.

Okay.

Grows faster than you want it to.

Here, let's try this. Name something that grows faster than you want it to.

Moss.

Oh, I'm sorry. No, that's two strikes. You got to get this one or Becca has a chance to steal. So be ready over there.

No, I know, but I got nothing.

Faster than you. El Nino?

No, it's not any kind of a weather event.

All right.

Here we go, Becca. For the steal and to stay in this game. If you do not get one of these final answers, Tanya is your winner.

Of Family Feud. You might be.

A winner today. Here we go.

Mold?

No, let me give it.

To you again. Name something that grows faster than you want it to.

Mold.

Your answer is mold. If mold is up there, we play a fifth and deciding question. If mold is not up there, Tanya is your champion.

Show me mold! Tanya wins!

I'd like to thank myself and myself.

I have to say the last two are tough.

What are they?

Your waistline.

Oh, my God.

I was going to say your body.

That would have worked, huh? That would have worked. Debt or expenses? I'm shocked Moss wasn't on there. Those aren't bad answers, but it's thinking outside the box a bit.

Good job, Tanya.

Good job, Tanya. You are the champion.

Weekend feeling absolutely on top.

Unbreakable.

Unbreakable. Unstoppable. Yeah.

All right.

Do you want to go for 200 points and $ 20, 000? Yeah, we have to.

We did so bad last time.

Who needs to leave? I guess Tanya leaves the room.

No, I think I have to leave.

Okay, then you leave the room because Tanya's the champion. She'll go first.

I did so bad last time.

Also, don't forget, we have to talk about the Grey's Anatomy pilot in this episode of Scrubbing In. All right. Waiting for that big old soundproof door to shut. Here we go. Tanya, you have 20 seconds on the clock. I don't have Easton here, so I'm going to use my handy dandy iPhone timer.

Okay.

Here we go. Let's go. Going for 20 seconds on the clock, please. Thank you. That's minutes. That would not be good.

Ding.

20 seconds starting now.

Okay.

When I finish the first question. Name something you find in a breakfast buffet. Eggs. Name a common candy bar component. Chocolate. Name a type of insurance.

House.

Other than letters, something people get in the mail.

Invites. Invitations.

Name something that has to be licked.

Envelope.

All right. Thank you. Plenty of time left on the clock.

Woo-hoo! That felt good.

There it is right there.

That felt strong.

All right, let's see how you did here. Before you go get her, don't go get her yet.

Sorry, sorry, sorry.

We asked, name something you find in a breakfast buffet. You said eggs. Eggs was the number one answer.

25.

25 points for eggs. Name a common candy bar component or ingredient. You said chocolate. That is the number one answer.

36.

Name a type of insurance. You said homeowner's insurance. That gives you 10 points. Other than letters, name something you get in the mail. You said invitations, and that gets you nothing.

What?

Name something that has to be licked. You said an envelope. That gets you nine points for a grand total of 1934. That is 70 points.

Out of 200?

Oh, yeah. You want to try to get half. You came up a little short on that. We're going to try to get 200 with Becca. Let's see how she does.

Oh, my gosh.

I am shook. Come on back in.

I'm actually shook.

I thought I'd... She did okay. She got 70. 70 is not terrible, not great.

No, but I did amazing. I got two of the number one answers.

Well, let's see how Becker does. She needs to get 130 points.

Yes, which I'm shook by.

I know, and that's happened to me, and I'm nervous. My brain's not firing off today.

Here we go. I'll put 25 seconds on the clock this time.

Okay.

Let's see how we do. I'll ask you the same question to ask Tanya. You may not duplicate your answer. If you do hear this, I'll say try again. You find me another answer, okay? Here we go. Name something you find in a breakfast buffet.

Fruit.

Name a common candy bar ingredient.

Peanuts.

Name a type of insurance.

Car.

Excellent.

Other than letters, name something people get in the mail.

Bills.

Excellent.

Name something that has to be licked.

Sucker.

Lollipop. All right. There we go. Plenty of time. There's the time right there. All right, here we go.

I feel strong about these.

Name something you find at a breakfast buffet. You said fruit. Our survey said two. Yeah, fruit was crazy. Eggs was the number one answer. Which I got. Actually, number two is melon, but I'm giving you fruit on that one. Name a common candy bar component. You said peanuts. Our survey said 22. Okay, not bad. We're over, no, we're at 96. Name a type of insurance. You said car.

Our survey said number one answer, 28 points. We're at 124. Other than letters, something people get in the mail. You said bills. And our survey said 17. That puts you at 141. Junk mail was the number one answer.

Oh, my.

People are so negative.

Junk mail. Name something that has to be licked. You said lollipop or sucker. That was the number one answer. But you need 59 points for $ 20, 000. Our survey said 33. I'm sorry. We come up short again.

$ 174.

Wait, what did you get zero on?

She said invitations you get in the mail. Yeah, it wasn't on there. That was it. That was her only zero. Yeah.

That's okay. We got closer than last week.

And then I said house insurance, which was low on there. And then I said lick an envelope.

Yeah.

I was going to say envelope.

Yeah.

It's low.

Oh, my God.

Number one.

All right.

Well.

All right. Good times, Tony.

We'll try again next time.

Congrats on the win.

Thanks.

Your recap of the Grey's Pilot.

When we come back?

Next, yes.

We're back.

Wow.

Yeah, that was beautiful.

Okay, so we are re-watching Grey's Anatomy from the beginning.

Are we going to do this every week, you think?

It's hard to say.

Do we want to? Let's start there.

We'll get the reviews if people like it or not. Oh, okay.

Fair.

Facts. They might be like, we don't care, which is fine. What were your initial thoughts?

Because you said you got an opinion that you had never gotten before.

Yes. So I watched it with Robbie because I'm like trying to get him sucked in. He was not excited about it. But whatever. Besides the point. I was watching the episode and I found myself having PTSD from my surgery. Like I was watching it feeling way more anxious during like the surgery scenes. Then I've never felt anything like that watching Grey's Anatomy. And I was like.

Felt more sensitive.

Very sensitive about it.

Might not be good to do this.

My surgery was nothing compared to like the girl with the brain surgery. And then the guy had like a heart. I mean, these were like very intense surgeries. Mine was like very not that. But I found myself getting very anxious during those scenes.

Well, pay attention to that feeling because this is not something we have to do. We don't need to. It wasn't like.

I watched the whole thing. Yeah, but it gets way.

More intense as the show goes on.

Does it, though? Yeah.

It does?

But I will say I forgot how they jump so right into the surgical storylines and everything.

Because in my mind, I always thought.

They were just setting up who the interns were and them getting there and Meredith being... you know, medical royalty and them talking about her mom being Ellis and how that reveal is at the end.

But I forgot that.

It opens up with Derek and Meredith waking up after having a one night stand.

Yeah, it was good.

And he pursued her from day one. As soon as he saw her, he was like, I want, I want to you.

Do you know what part made me sad though?

What?

You know how like Christina and Meredith say, Meredith says, hey, do you want to team up to work on this case together? If we get it, the surgery is all yours. I don't want it. Right. And then when Derek gives her the scrub in and she just takes it, I wish she would have said, no, we made an agreement.

Christina would like she I wish she would have like said something there.

Yeah, I think that's a very I think we see that because.

We're not in that environment, but I think in a surgical environment with the, your head boss, basically saying like, I'm choosing you for you to be like, actually, no, I made a pact with my new best friend that I'm not going to take the surgery is not realistic.

I don't know.

She said like that was Christina's whole intensive purposes to, to partner with Meredith. She said, I, if we get it, I get.

To scrub in.

I know, but I don't think Meredith had the authority to make that decision, to make that promise.

But she didn't even try.

Well.

That's where she lost me.

Yeah, but you know what? They worked through it, as we know.

Barely.

No, no, no.

That little scene where she's like, this is where we say.

No, but they become best... I'm saying eventually they become best friends.

But I think it was just kind of a hard lesson of being like, the loyalty is nigh in these cutthroat days of being an intern.

And I also, when George.

I get so much anxiety from George because he's just anxious and not.

Great at the beginning. Like I'd be so nervous if he walked in to do my surgery.

That's another thing I was thinking about. Like I was like, oh my gosh, if George O'Malley was one of the surgeons that was working on me, I would have not been okay.

I just, it made me miss it so much. It made me just miss what Grey's was. And I understand that after however many, 22 seasons, you can't keep the magic of something. But I was like, gosh, this show, every, like Meredith going to work and seeing Derek after they had just slept together and realizing he's her superior and then the whole time they're talking about Ellis Gray and Meredith being like having the advantage and all these things happening that certainly make it look like she has an advantage and then at the end seeing that her mom is in a home so good it was so good but yeah I I'm down to keep watching it I I I love it. And I can see Haley said she actually used to watch it on the early season.

So I don't think it'll be. I got to get her off the reality TV train.

It's tough to get off the reality TV train. Let me tell you, there's two seasons of Traders back to back. There's USA going and there's a UK version that's about to hit the US of A.

It's so much.

So, yeah, we can continue to do that if we want. But what do you think the special forces is? Are you watching it?

I think so. Ruby, well, a bunch.

Of people went home. Spoiler alert. So many people went home, and that one football player who didn't want to poop in front of everybody, I'm like, come on.

Literally, same. I was like, this man doesn't want to poop in front of people, so he leaves. Yeah. He's a football player.

And even if that was just the excuse, what a horrible excuse.

Somebody wrote in our Facebook group, though, to give us like a little bit of like intel on the show. And apparently they give you the money up front to be on the show. So you get the same amount if you last two hours or 21 days.

Oh, so it's totally based off of your celebrity, though.

No, it's.

Yeah, because it ranges from $ 100, 000 to $ 500, 000.

But you get what you get just for being on the show. So it's a true character.

Do you know what I mean?

Because you're going to get... Hello? You can just go collect your paycheck and then leave after two hours and be like, goodbye or you can have that like character and like want to see it through you.

Know yeah the grit of completing it the grit i know i'd.

Be out after i think i could last five hours.

I think you undersell yourself so much in this situation i think you could i think you can make it to the end robbie.

Agreed with me because of the uti situation He was like, you would need to be changing your pants every hour on that show.

Do you think I could do it?

Yeah, 100%.

Haley thinks the sleep thing would.

Yeah, sleeping in a room with all those people and like they're snoring and noises. But don't you like to fall asleep to sound? Don't you put like a noise machine on?

Not someone rattling and snoring.

I think you'd get used to it.

I don't know. I'd do it. I'd do it just to see for, like, the challenge, but.

Please, somebody from Special Forces, cast Becca Tilly on the next season, because I do think you would make it to the end. Out of sheer tenacity.

Yeah, well, I imagine that takes over, but I also think when your body's pushed to, like, a physical limit, there is... If you're not mentally strong and don't have that mentality of, like, I'm going to get through this, I think the physical part will make you just go, I can't.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Like Oliver Hudson was just standing there like projectile vomiting because they said don't bend over.

I was like, that's so scary.

So scary.

And I also feel like I'd get the giggles trying to be serious in front of the staff and it would.

Just be bad.

I don't think you would get the giggles.

I think you would like lock in.

I don't know. But anyways, stay tuned for that if it ever happens.

I would do it with you if they let me change my underwear.

You just have to do it. Like as soon as you get back, go into your little Toilet.

Toilet.

But anyways, that's all for now.

Don't worry, though.

We'll be back next week.

We'll be back, as.

Always, on Monday with a new episode or two. And we hope you have the best weekend. And we love you so much.

Love you.

Bye. Bye.

Love you, Crystal.

Bye.
