🔸Do you want to be able to show up for any event in your life feeling 100% like yourself?
🔸Are you sick of wondering why the outfits that look good on other people look or feel weird on you?
🔸Do you feel like you should already know how to create your own style? Like there was a cute girl outfit class that everyone else took but you didn’t know about?
You know how most women are self-conscious about how they look? I was too! Now I have a process for discovering your Style DNA so you and I can look and feel like ourselves.
Style DNA is my acronym and what this podcast is all about:
🔸D) your body’s DESIGN. This includes your silhouette, inherent color palette, and many other artistic characteristics that determine what looks best on you. (Physical form)
🔸(N) your NEEDS, based on your lifestyle, what life stage you are in, your roles, what industry you’re in, where you live geographically and climate-wise. (External elements)
🔸(A) your AESTHETIC. The vision of beauty that’s unique to you. What you like, and what you don’t like, and WHY. (Internal elements)
Imagine being able to walk into a roomful of people, forget about what you are wearing, and just be who you are there to be. I believe when women are seen and valued for who they truly are, we will begin to see the transformation our world so desperately needs. My dream is universal flourishing.
You not feeling self-conscious is the frosting; being kind to the planet is the sprinkles.

Common body shape sorting names a woman an hourglass, pear, apple, or rectangle. Art composition gives a different set of options, and this week we look at the trapezoid that sits just below your waist. Knowing your body shape is the most e
151🔸Use Generational Theory to Build a Wardrobe You Keep
A woman I know loves her black top and said she'll probably buy it in every color. I suggested she get another black one. Most people think generational theory is about generations clashing, but it can also help us dress to be understood in
150🔸History of Fashion: Why Dressing Nicely Feels Rebellious
In the late 1970s, a teenager's camouflage pants read as practical to him and as rebellion to his mother. Same pants, two readings. Each reading came from the years the viewer grew up in. Most people think the history of fashion is about tr
149🔸How to Dress When Your Eternal Child Wants Approval
What do you wonder about before you walk out the door? That wondering could belong to your Eternal Child, the third function in your Myers-Briggs type. It sits on the axis of relating to others and looks to other people for validation, and
148🔸How to Have Fun With Outfit Colors This Fall
In the fall, I'm okay dressing like a tree. Color theory says swatches that harmonize on a wheel will harmonize in an outfit. What feels right on you shifts with the season, the light, and your own energy on any given day, and that opens up
147🔸Value Contrast and the Secret Focal Point of Style
Most people think if they just learn their colors, that solves it. I'm pale enough that people called me Casper growing up. That did not stop me from once picking my shoe color to match my eyes instead of my skin. It went about how you'd ex
146🔸The Agnes Young Silhouette Cycle and Where We Are Now
In 1937, a researcher named Agnes Young spent years analyzing more than a century of women's fashion and found something the industry has mostly ignored ever since: silhouette doesn't change randomly. It rotates through the same three shape
145🔸Fall 2026 Fashion Trends Worth Your Money
Every fall, trend reports start circulating. What to buy. What to throw out. This episode covers the fall 2026 trends that actually matter for your shopping, and how to tell which ones are worth buying for keeps. The shift away from black e
144🔸3 Free Ways to Find Your Personal Color Palette, No Draping
Color analysis has been compressed into one procedure: fabric under your chin and then a verdict, a season. Women get draped more than once, by different analysts, and come away with different seasons. That isn't because draping is invalid
143🔸Your Personality Shows You How to Dress for Your Purpose
Here's a pattern you might recognize: you see a problem clearly, you know you can help, you have something to contribute. You offer it and it doesn't land. Did they even hear you? Your personality type has been shaping your style instincts
142🔸Why Capsules Collapse (Outfit Formulas Are the Solution)
Have you ever suspected that capsule wardrobes are pointless, because they collapse into the same three favorite outfits? There's a reason for that, and your eye already knows it. Every time you swap a piece, you change the relationship bet
141🔸Signature Style Announces You Before You Open Your Mouth
Every system in the style world is built to sort you into something. None of them are built to actually see you. There's a quote from stylist Kimberly Parry worth sitting with: when image is done right, it becomes your three second resume.
140🔸What Your Kibbe Type Tells You About Creating Outfits (Classic)
Thousands of women around the globe are obsessed with finding their “Kibbe” type. About ten years ago, I went down the rabbit hole too and bought David Kibbe's Metamorphosis: Discover Your Image Identity and Dazzle As Only You Can. (http://
139 🔸 Wardrobe Planning When You're Starting From Zero
Almost every wardrobe planning system assumes you already have clothes in your closet. Sometimes a closet empties all at once. A new job in a completely different field. A fire or a flood. Leaving suddenly without being able to take anythin
138🔸What Marie Kondo Gets Right About Decluttering Your Closet
Marie Kondo got closet editing partly right. Category based sorting works. A defined timeline works. But asking you to judge one sweater at a time was never going to get you all the way there. Marie Kondo asks you to hold one item and wait
137🔸Why Compliments Don't Confirm Your Personal Color Palette
Getting a compliment on a color you're wearing is not the same as being seen. Most women have at least one color in their closet that draws compliments regularly and still feels wrong somehow. Like what's being noticed isn't quite them. The
136🔸The Conscious Closet Philosophy Nobody Talks About
The conscious closet conversation focuses heavily on where clothing comes from. It almost never talks about what happens in the middle. Every garment you own is moving through a lifecycle whether you engage with it or not. A garment depreci
135🔸What Ramit Sethi Gets Right About Clothing and Your Budget
Most women were never taught that clothing belongs in a budget. They were taught it was the first thing to cut. Ramit Sethi's Conscious Spending Plan treats basic clothing the same as rent and groceries: a non-negotiable cost of being a fun
134🔸How Kids Develop a Unique Style (And How Parents Accidentally Get in the Way)
Most of us were never handed a verdict on purpose. Someone just made a choice, and we made it mean something. This episode starts with a brown gingham dress and a six-year-old who drew the wrong conclusion. It ends with a journaling prompt
133🔸What Harriet McJimsey Really Understood About Style Archetypes
Harriet McJimsey introduced style archetypes in 1963. What she built was a whole-person reading system. What the popular adaptations kept was mostly the body-typing. Understanding your style archetypes as a whole-person reading, not a body-
132🔸Why You Don't Want a Personal Stylist (And Why That Makes Sense)
Most women who resist hiring a personal stylist think the resistance is about money or confidence. It isn't. It's about a very specific fear: that you'll come out looking polished and put-together and completely unlike yourself. In this epi
131🔸How does your enneagram instinct shape your personal style?
Most people who know the Enneagram focus on their type number. But new research suggests your survival instinct — self-preservation, social, or sexual — is actually the more useful tool for understanding your personal style. In this episode
130🔸The Cognitive Function Behind Every Style vs Taste Conflict
Mili Velikova has a video on style vs taste that's worth your time (https://youtu.be/M_-AaMDzepI?si=OR3067JYnc5rpmZy) before you listen to this episode. She names something real: what you're drawn to and what you actually wear with confiden
129🔸The Theology of Aesthetics and Why Beauty Is Not Shallow
Most people think caring about appearance conflicts with spiritual depth, but actually the body is an instrument of worship. In this episode, I unpack three ideas that reframe beauty as devotion rather than vanity: the body as instrument of
128 🔸Regional Style Archetypes and What Your Zip Code Inherited
Your region was already shaping what you wore, what felt normal, and what got you sideways looks at dinner, long before you had any framework for personal style at all. Colin Woodard's American Nations framework proposes that North America
127🔸Wearing Black: What to Pair With It Based on Your Type
Most color analysts say wearing black depends on your season, but actually your cognitive functions reveal why you're drawn to black and what to pair it with. In this episode, I break down why introverts have a different relationship with b
126🔸3 Style DNA Principles Most Experts Have Never Heard Of
Your style DNA is the operating system underneath every outfit decision you make. In this episode, I share three principles that are original to my Style DNA system and that you are unlikely to hear from a stylist, a style quiz, or an AI. T
125 🔸 What Nobody Tells You About Dressing for Your Body Type
Most women fighting their closet think they have a shopping problem or a willpower problem. They don't. They have a design problem. Dressing for your body type isn't about minimizing or hiding. It's about understanding your body's design an
124 🔸 Why Your Style DNA Questions Deserve Real Answers
You asked an AI what to wear. It told you to trust your instinct. Then it told you the opposite instinct was better. That's not guidance. That's people-pleasing. Your style DNA questions deserve real answers from a real framework, and that'
123 🔸 How to Be Popular by Letting People Actually See You
Most people think they know how to be popular. Be agreeable. Be relatable. Don't take up too much space. But there's a woman at the nail salon who never got that memo, and everyone in the room loves her for it. In this episode I'm unpacking
