There’s a reason you can accomplish something meaningful and still feel like it wasn’t enough. You can give, help, create, love, work hard—and still find yourself looking for something outside of yourself to confirm that it mattered. But what if that search is keeping you from recognizing something much more powerful? This week on Weekly Energy Boost, we explore a deeper Kabbalistic secret about purpose, impact, and why we so often underestimate the significance of what we’re doing right now.

Listen to this episode if you’ve ever wondered whether you’re making enough of a difference, felt discouraged by a lack of visible results, or found yourself measuring your value through achievement, recognition, money, numbers, or other people’s reactions. You’ll discover a powerful shift in perspective that can change how you approach your work, relationships, spiritual practice, and even the smallest interactions in your day—and help you recognize the impact that may already be happening before you ever see the results. The question is not whether your actions matter. It’s whether you’re looking in the right place to see why.

Good morning, everyone.

Good evening.

Good afternoon, wherever you are and welcome to this week's weekly energy boost. My name is Elisheva and today Eitan and I are going to take you back in time to understand the root of most of human suffering. And most importantly, how it's really our view that shifts the impact that we have, not only in the world around us, but in the little moments when nobody's looking and we say, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Today, you're going to understand how the Kabbalists teach that impact is in the eye of the beholder.

And this is the week that.

We can shift how we see everything in our lives so that not only our impact is greater, but that we feel a greater connection to our purpose and meaning in our own lives. Weekly Energy Boost is a seven-day spiritual weather forecast where we provide our listeners with the most practical and powerful tools to navigate the coming seven days.

as we found it from the teachings of Kabbalah so that every episode ends up offering wisdom and tools that are not only going to help you ride the waves this week, but they'll help you any week of the year and a year of your life. And so, because we're starting a new cycle of energy this week, it's literally the Genesis of the human existence. We're going to take a deep dive and understand how the secrets behind those teachings inform the human reality and what we can do about it to go with the flow instead of living our lives swimming against the flow. So Eitan, where should we begin?

This week portion in Genesis is the known famous story about Adam and Eve. Started the journey in the Garden of Eden and then something happened. They fell. They sinned. They ate from the tree of knowledge, good and bad. They listened to the snake. So many secrets that the Kabbalists decodified, but I would love to focus on one specific important lesson for our life. I think it's the seed of all lessons. It says that prior to the fall of Adam and Eve, When Adam and Eve were walking, all the animals feared them. They felt tremendous light. They felt tremendous energy. They felt the greatness of the soul.

It simply emanated from them the greatness energy of the Creator. And after the scene, the opposite. Adam and Eve became fearful and they became small in their own consciousness. Second story. Hopefully it will be edited. So what does it mean they became small? Kabbalistically, to make an impact is to do an action or a thought or words that reveals good, reveals light. When I'm actually focusing on that, I'm creating an impact, huge impact that affects change in the whole world.

Especially if I trust and I believe that this moment is a quantum moment. It's not just, who knows about that action? How many followers I have? How many likes I have? How many people get impressed with what I'm doing? Not at all. The actions have an impact. That's our potential. That's what Adam and Eve before the fall. Adam and Eve after the fall, which represent us. It's so easy to feel I'm not making a difference. This moment is not important. The moment of the other person seemed to be important. I'm not doing something meaningful. Who would remember what I'm doing? It's all up to our consciousness. There's a word in Hebrew that we use for the sense of the importance of this moment, the importance of my soul,

the importance of this spiritual action. It's not just to do it with the right intention. It's to pause and to feel the greatest impact that I'm doing by doing what I'm doing now of course positive great impact but we are trained that impact is whenever there's actual results that other people are noticing that's the mistake that's the mistake how great is this moment It's how great I believe this moment is. I'm helping one person. Rabbi Isaac Luria tells us, when you are visiting a sick person, just to give them comfort, to share light with them, a special meditation, that you take one-sixtieth of the sickness, and the light that you are revealing, the transaction, When you're helping that one person, you're actually creating light in

the entire world. When we think small, we think fragmented. We don't see the quantum. We don't believe in our soul. We don't believe in our action. We don't believe in our value. We don't believe in the value of our words and the value of our actions. Each one of us in any positive action that we do, we want to pause and open ourselves to feel the magnitude of my actions for my soul. Sometimes, less action with more sense of appreciation, inner value of how powerful and meaningful the actions, more light you reveal. And more blessings you're attracting to your life. And in the entire world. When we feel small very often. We in a chase. I have to do this. I have to do that. Because there's no sense of importance of every action that you do.

So we're constantly busy thinking about the next thing that I have to do. You might need to do many things. But imagine you pause. Some of the memories of my teacher the Rav Berg that passed. It would help one individual. He will have one smile, one positive intention, one positive word, one moment of prayer, and you would feel that the whole world is filled up with light. He would look at you and you'll feel, wow, he sees in me Something very important. Maybe I need to treat myself a little bit different. Not my ego. In a soul level. Wow. Imagine. Cleansing.

That's the sin of Adam. Becoming small. Correcting the sin. Pause. Don't connect to the big ego, to the big real value that you don't need anybody to listen to. That's big. You don't need anyone to appreciate out there. And that's work. That's part of the inner transformation. And sometimes, less is more.

We want to feel importance from the outside. We are already important. Let's pause and open ourselves to feel that sense of importance, the dare.

Eitan, I think what you're saying is so important, and I want to help to bring it down to practical shifts that we can make so that it doesn't stay this concept, but we bring it down to really seeing the impact of it in our daily lives. How, let's say you're in a relationship, How can you bring the concept of, that you're talking about, this experiencing, having reverence, let's say, or awe for the little things in the relationship?

We lose it, you know, you can be in a relationship for many years with someone and find that you take each other for granted, or you start, you notice that things aren't, the spark is dwindling. How can we, on a practical level, in a relationship, even if it's in a friendship, and it's a friendship, I'm not saying a friendship that deteriorates because there's lack of common ground, just Because time passes and if you don't water a plant, it's going to start to wilt. How do we inject that, what you're talking about today, to feel the greatness of the light in the relationship?

That's a beautiful question. And I think when you have important friendship or relationship or marriage, it's so easy to take it for granted. and to make other important, urgent, new things that makes them more important. But that's the illusion of life, chasing importance in the outside. In the same way, I need to find the importance inside, I need to find the most important relationship for me. So in a simple conversation, in a simple gesture, in a simple appreciation, in a simple hug, in the way I'm talking, in the respect, in taking the time. Because it is about the little things that you give energy to, that you give love to. And like the Rothberg said, living in this world, the test is, it's as if you're

standing in an escalator that goes down. What does it mean? Usually, the natural tendency in important relationship and to include with ourself is to lose appreciation, to lose the value, to become robotic. Then you're seeking excitement in the outside. So it's actually that effort to look at small moments. Yeah, you'll have also big moments. As important, value the light of your partner's soul, of your own soul. Value the important time that you have together. Is the things that we're taking for granted? That's where I need to shift my consciousness about the people that I take for granted.

Think about one person that you love. You have a good connection. But you don't spend extra moment to value the connection. To appreciate this energy. Their energy. Your energy in it. Your gift of togetherness in it. And nurture that. Expand on that. We live in a world of racing after the thing, the important thing will attract other things to come to our life. The right thing. If we'll give importance to the amazing holy blessings right in front of us. People, actions, my own soul.

I think that it's an especially powerful exercise for someone who's used to being busy, like you said, rushing through things, getting things done, running from place to place, the act of slowing down and giving consciousness to everything that you do. I remember giving a lecture a couple of years ago with a pretty successful guy, And he was sharing with a large group of people about how he takes the time before every meeting, closes his eyes, makes a connection to the creator, asks for the right words, and to really, even if the outcome is unclear, that the energy will go into the right place. And he had this whole meditation that he shared. And someone in the crowd raised their hand and said, well, look.

You're successful.

You have time between meetings to meditate. I don't have time to meditate. And his answer was, you can't afford not to meditate. Now, maybe meditating is not everybody's thing, but I think the message was appreciating that the next meeting, the hour that you're going to spend with this group of people, it's not about the outcome of the meeting.

It's about the value of the time and the energy that you're going to spend right now and dedicating that. And I thought it was such a powerful answer. You can't afford meditation. not to put intention behind what you do. And, and to me, it's a very similar thing that you're saying here. It's that it's, it's as though it's our job to return the importance back to what we're doing.

It was lost and now we're here to bring it back. And if you're, you know, your, your, your spouse or your friend calls from the other room, could you get me a glass of water? Do you just go and do it as though it's a task or do you take a moment and put intention? I hope that my friend or my partner feels love and feels cared for.

And then you hand them the water, right? That we allow the physical things that we do to reveal the light of the creator as they were meant to. And that was the origin, right? The original intention was that everything we were going to do was going to have tremendous significance. The point you made though, in the very beginning, Eitan, about quantity versus quality. I think that that becomes tricky when you talk about work and finance because it's a numbers game when it comes to monetizing something, increasing revenues.

You need to be able to reach a lot of people, have a lot of customers, have a lot of reach. How do we reconcile this consciousness with it's a numbers game?

So it's very simple. The Zohar speaks about it. Sometimes it's important to count. But the question, what is more important for you? Is it the quality of the energy that you inject or the numbers? At the moment, the numbers, how much money I made, how much customers, how many likes I get, if that becomes the most important thing that demands your attention and your energy and you're reactive to it and it's a test, then, There's no blessing in that. The Zohar tells us clearly, anything that you're too caught up with counting, has no blessing. Because the light is endless. And every moment is endless. So the moment you're counting, you separate from the light. So now, you need to learn the balance. Like that friend, the

businessman says, first, I have intention. This moment is important. My intention of this meeting is important. My intention of this call is important. It's important because I'm here to reveal light and I'm here to be just servant of the light in whatever way. Then right after numbers or no numbers can cleanse the number by saying, thank you, the creator. How can I use this challenge or these blessings to actually have a deeper appreciation for this very moment?

So we live in the world of numbers. but you cannot be defined by numbers.

Yeah, I think that's the illusion that we all fall to. No matter what, if you're in sales, if you happen to have a lot of students who are therapists, and at the end of the day, it's making a living, and it becomes very difficult, especially I find for people who have to charge for their time. to not focus on the numbers because that's what at the end of the day determines their bottom line. So making that shift from adding, desiring to add value and have the maximum impact when you reach that state where it's genuine, the numbers take care of themselves. And I think that's the art, right, where fulfillment really comes from is when you know you're doing what you're meant to do and that comes from

knowing that whatever you're going to do is an expression of the light and having that reverence for the light that comes through rather than the finished product. I think that's regardless of what industry you're in or what profession you're in, you can relate to the concept of desiring to add value and knowing the source of the value.

And anything else that you want to say before we sign off?

I want to summarize what you just said, which is very important. You need first to appreciate the value of the moment, of your soul, of what you do, of what you're dealing with, of the time, of the support of the creator. And then you can give this value and add this value to someone else. If you don't pause to appreciate the value, you don't really add value.

You don't. You just hope to get something from the response from people. Adding value is feeling first the value is with you, not with the result, not with the future impact and appreciation. Appreciate value, then you can add value.

And it goes right back to what you started with, which the likes and the follows and all those things, it's empty if the first step isn't the focus on the value that you're adding. So beautiful and such a good lesson, especially for Obviously, it's not a coincidence it falls in the month of Libra. Libras typically have the people pleasing and then, you know, the running around to take care and do for others. And we all become a little bit like that this month. So it's a good time to shed light on going back to that original, right?

When we were created originally, we had that reverence for everything. And hopefully by bringing it back this week, we'll use our energy and our resources in a completely different way this year.

Beautiful.
