Sometimes the things that feel safest are the very things keeping us from moving forward. We can become so accustomed to certain patterns, routines, and ways of seeing ourselves that we stop questioning whether they’re actually helping us grow. And when life asks us to step into something unfamiliar, it can be easier to retreat into what we already know—even when we sense there’s something more waiting for us.
This week, we explore what it really means to move beyond the version of life we’ve become comfortable with and make room for something greater. Along the way, we look at the subtle ways we can hold ourselves back, what happens when we stop needing to control how everything turns out, and why the moments that feel uncertain may hold more possibility than we realize. There may be a whole new reality waiting on the other side of what you’ve been afraid to leave behind.

Good morning, everyone. Good evening, good afternoon, wherever you are, and welcome to this week's Weekly Energy Boost. My name is Elisheva, and today Eitan and I are talking about how to leave the familiar in order to find the light. We're in a period of time that seems like a bit of a, might feel like there's a bit of a dip in energy in these next few weeks, and there's a divine purpose for it. The universe is giving us very specific tasks, to actualize all of the energy that we've downloaded in the past month. And with that in mind, we want to share some really practical practices around how to take advantage of the opportunity of this week and make sure that that heavy feeling, that desire
to be comfortable and to play it safe doesn't prevent us from living the life we want and fulfilling the desires that are truly important to fulfill. Weekly Energy Boost is a seven-day spiritual weather forecast where we provide our listeners with the most practical and powerful tools to navigate the coming seven days. We do that by gleaning through the wisdom of Kabbalah and extracting wisdom and tools that are not only going to help you this week, but they can help you any week of your year, any year of your life. And specifically, it's the month of Scorpio.
This week's portion is called Lech Lecha. It's all about getting outside of ourselves, and maintaining the certainty that we will be guided, we will be led to greater blessings and fulfillment than we could if everything went according to our plan and our perspective. So Eitan, where should we begin?
I think the word Lech Lecha, which can mean go outside of yourself the Creator told Abraham to the land that I will show you that verse really described the purpose of life since Abraham was the first one first spiritual teacher ever that spread the message of one God one force that is infinite How in a day-to-day we can align with the energy of the Creator if it's infinite?
What does it mean practically? And that's what Abraham is teaching humanity and the Zohar speaks about it. Since the force that we are all seeking to connect, the infinite force of the Creator, energy of giving is here at all time, The only way daily I can connect with that, if I'm going and if I'm pushing myself beyond the known, beyond the comfortable, beyond my control, beyond my limitation, beyond my present life. Because practically to us, to connect with a force that is limitless, it means I need to break out of my finite life. What does it mean?
One of the simple things is me. What positive action can I do that it's beyond my comfort zone? And especially, it's not clear and known to me what will be the results, that's a way to really allow myself to connect with the limitless force. Because comfort means I'm controlled by limited perceptions and I'm stuck. in my limited perception of comfort, and there's no flow towards limitless. If the Creator is limitless, it means the only way to access it is today I'm actually shifting beyond my yesterday consciousness.
I'm moving towards breaking boundaries, limitations, comforts. Towards when it says, to the land that I will show you. It didn't say the land of Israel. To the land that I will show you. It means move towards the unknown and trust. That's where you can meet me. Vibration wise. When everything that I'm doing, I'm doing is based on, I know that will make me comfortable. It's no more God. It's idol worship. So every time I'm doing positive action, which moved me, or at least I'm scared about the unknown territory, because that's one of the indication I'm transitioning to another level of mine. It's a good sign of embrace. Allow.
And the first question I would ask all of us, really be honest. Forget about philosophy. In the next couple of hours, what can you and me do, act, say, beyond our comfort zone? The reason we are dreading doing it because we're a little scared, because we don't see all the immediate rewards, because we're used to certain behavior even though it doesn't serve us so much, We're addicted to certain stimulations. And even though it brings up discomfort, at least I'm used to that. What is the shift?
It's beyond the usual me. Is it maybe to pause? Because in your tikkun, you are a pleaser. And you need to change the plans. And maybe cancel a meeting that you're afraid to cancel in order to shift your energy and do something productive and have an honest phone call with someone or take the time for yourself or follow through with the promise that you made that you're uncomfortable or follow through with the confronting conversation you know you need to have and you're afraid to Or ask for help from someone that you love to say, wow, actually, I need to be nurtured. But you're afraid because usually you're the nurturing person. Or is it simply admit wrong and be vulnerable? Is it about just maybe smiling? when
you don't like now to smile? Is it about instead of pushing through, maybe pause for a second and be all the way. Sometimes we're pushing through. We're not all the way with the challenge we're going through and we're not all the way with the next person we're talking or the next things I'm doing or the chore that you have with your family or with the Giving action that you're doing. Be all the way. Am I all the way? Am I embracing all the way what's bad as being? You know what? Feel the feelings all the way.
Embrace it all the way. That's a question that I wouldn't just think about. I would journal. What will be going beyond my comfort zone? Your comfort zone is not my comfort zone.
I want to unpack something that you dropped in what you just said that by itself could probably be its own episode. You mentioned tikkun, and we talk about tikkun maybe every other episode, tikkun being the unique work that my soul came to do, whether it's transforming certain limitations and revealing my gifts, my unique light in the world.
And one aspect of tikkun that we don't always give time to is the part that in order to have those certain things that I need to overcome, transform, heal, I have to have a kind of pre-programming, a disposition, a a personality and not that the personality is bad, but there are certain aspects of our personality that we are meant to transform and heal and overcome. But you can look at that teaching and say, but this is who I am.
Right?
I'm a Scorpio or I'm a Capricorn or I'm a control freak or I'm a people pleaser or I'm just that easygoing, flexible kind of person. It doesn't really matter to me where we go to. That's just who I am. I was thinking about it recently because I found my high school yearbook. And I don't know if everyone has this in their high school yearbook, but all of the signatures in the back, people write, don't ever change. I hope you stay the same. You're amazing. Don't change. Don't change.
Don't change. Don't change. It's like every other wish from your friends in high school. And I think most of the world looks at who they are, what their track record is, who they've proven to be in their life, and they say, this is who I am. Take it or leave it, right? Accept me, my faults and all. And then Kabbalah comes and says, you need to know your faults. That's actually why we We advocate for people to do a Kabbalistic astrology reading so we can know the full range of the work we're meant to do and the gifts we're meant to reveal because sometimes it's not obvious when you become caught up in, this is who I am. And on top of that, you add your profession, your education, your culture, your religion, your financial status,
who I am becomes this thing. And Kabbalah comes and says, that thing is meant to evolve and change and grow all the time. There is no staying the same. There is no never change. And so specifically this week, the Zohar emphasizes that idea of you have to get outside. If you want a breakthrough, you have to get outside of yourself. There's a beautiful teaching that I mean, we could talk about the spiritual symbolism and all, but the truth is, as individuals in 2026, most of us probably don't have a lot of time in our schedule to pause, like you said, Eitan, and breathe, and cancel a meeting, and journal, and whatever it is. We might think, I have bills to pay, and I have a schedule. I have to pick up the kids, and I have to
do this. All the have-tos. That's also part of our tikkun. that we let those things, who we are and what we do, define what we're capable of. So I think part of the work this week is also looking at who am I? What needs to heal, transform, change? Where can I grow in terms of leaving old patterns and habits?
And that's just who I am. Anything you can look at about you and say, it's just who I am. blame my parents, blame my fourth grade teacher, blame my religion. And we do, even as spiritual people, we say that, well, my mother, because of my mom, I have abandonment issues. According to Kabbalah, because of your tikkun, you chose a mom who would assist you in adopting these seemingly abandonment issues so that you could transcend and overcome and heal them and become who you're meant to become. So part of it is not looking at, oh, this is a drag.
I have to go against my nature. Eitan said, Kabbalah said. No, this is why we were created. The evolution and transformation and getting outside of ourselves. We are who we are, not so that we can stay that person, but so that we can change that person. And it's a moving target. It's not, oh, I'm broken now and I need to become perfect. It's constantly evolving, being different, not allowing yourself to rest on your laurels and be the same person you were last year or five years ago or 10 years ago. And of course, things come up and you work on something and then suddenly it rears its head and you think, oh, I thought I worked on this.
The process is exactly how it's meant to be. But I think the key here is to be able to admit to yourself, you know what? I am a people pleaser. you know what, I don't have boundaries or I am a control freak. And I, you know, even though I, I resent my busy schedule, I also worship my busy schedule because it keeps me busy and not going inward and thinking about the person that I meant to become.
And to be able to have that shift this week, to take in the data. And like you said, Eitan, to journal about it. What does it mean for me to get outside of my comfort zone? Well, I work till midnight every night. That's not, that's not comfortable. It might be your comfort zone to work till midnight every night because you want to go home and be with your family. So this is really one of those great times that you can see clearly and strategize clearly. What does it mean to leave that version of me behind?
Beautiful. And I think let's unpack together the whole concept of comfort zone, the illusion of comfort. And Is it a problem to be comfortable? Think about it. God, the light, is energy of peace, is energy of ease, is energy of healing, is energy of comfort, is energy of flow. There's nothing wrong about comfort zone. Actually, there's illusionary comfort, ego comfort, and soul comfort. So when we think, Go beyond the comfort zone. Don't destroy true moment of connections, of peace, of growth, of inner alignment, of inner flow.
Expose illusionary comfort that I'm addicted to. How many of you told yourself, wow, I need to learn to shut down my social media accounts because it's too much. And you're doing it a little less and you go back to it. So we might call it comfort zone, but really in your soul, is it comfortable? If it's comfortable in your soul, don't change it. When we say break out of the comfort zone, break out of the addiction ego comfort zone that in a soul level, it's not really comfortable for you. When we're saying Kabbalistically, see if it's resonating with you, with my soul.
Is it comfortable in a soul level to speak bad to someone else? Is it comfortable in a soul level to keep a friend that actually creates negative energy in my life, for me, even for them?
Is it in a soul level not to speak my truth with a friend? Is it comfortable in a soul level to waste my time just hoping and planning to create a breakthrough and procrastinating? So let's, we're not here masochist. We don't want discomfort. We want real comfort. Let's shift that. I want to break out of illusionary addiction to a comfort, illusionary comfort, towards real soul comfort, which is freedom, which is beyond. And the fact that I don't have clarity in what way exactly things will end up, it's a good sign because that's God's. to allow to be safe in growth towards my next level and not to settle for less. Our soul comfort, let's use the word comfort, is never settling for less. It's constantly growing. Our soul
is pure. Indeed, as you said, people told you, never change. In a soul level, we didn't come to change. There's layers of tycoons, of egos, of limitation, and that's we need to peel off and to come closer home to real comfort, which is beyond limitations, beyond fear, beyond addiction, and that's a daily action. And that's some of the questions I would ask myself. What is the action that I know in my heart and soul in a long term will make me truly happy and at peace that I'm dreading procrastinating and I will do it tomorrow morning I will meditate tomorrow morning I will say goodbye to a bad habit tomorrow morning or to a bad friend so the message is to what's uncomfortable do what's really
comfortable and that process will be a little uncomfortable in a temporary basis so let's shift it. We didn't come to this world to suffer. We come to really ignite true peace, true love, true comfort. And it's a constant process to peel off the limited meat towards the unlimited because our soul is most comfortable with the next level without knowing exactly how it looks and what type of energy I will attract. That unknown represents the creator. Endless energy.
When I'm so caught up with specific vision, it's okay as long as I'm open to the fact that it will open other door bigger than me.
Because you said two minutes ago, three minutes ago, not having clarity, that's God. I know what you mean and you clarified it a little bit, but in practice, how do we get from, I'm going to let go of this bad habit or a bad friend or unhealthy situation because I know it's not in alignment with my soul and I don't know how it's going to turn out.
I don't know how the conversation is going to go. I don't know what's on the other side of that. How is that God? How is that the creator?
Because every time I'm doing action that align with my soul, giving action, letting go action, non-ego action, soul action, but the outcome is not clear to me, lack of clarity means limitless. specific, tangible result, it's limited. So unknown, when you move in a positive mindset towards the unknown, part of the Kabbalistic, developing Kabbalistically the concept of trusting the light, certainty beyond logic, is getting comfortable with the unknown and it's a practice. I don't know. Good sign. What's going to happen? It's a good sign. I'm doing my best in the present moment and I'm still facing the unknown.
Good sign that I'm actually touched by the creator. The Kabbalists call it the moment of zero. Actually, and we might have mentioned it one time, When you plant a seed of a fruit in the ground, before the seed will bear plants in the beginning of the growth of the tree, it has to reach state of zero, unknown, nothing.
Decomposed completely. Disintegrated completely. And then the growth will happen. That state of unknown... that my mind cannot define it, or unformed, unknown, unformed, unclear, that my mind, so our mind right away call it, if it's unknown, it's bad. No, no, no. If it's unknown, it's God. So it's a training that we need to go through. And we're afraid of the unknown, And sometimes we're addicted to something that we know it's bad for us, but because it's known to us and the option of the unknown, the option of staying in the uncomfortable or confronting, being a little bit uncomfortable is too unknown. I'd rather go back to the known. That's how the mind works. I'm in control and I'm safe when it's known to me. A little chaos doesn't matter.
And the creator, the definition of the creator is very simple. Endless and giving.
So how do we not let those moments of unknown give us anxiety and fear? Meaning you can say consciously, okay, I know it's the creator, but still be... very hyper-focused on the fact that you feel out of control. You don't know what's going to happen. You can't count on whatever you could count on before. How do we inject in those moments the trust and certainty? How do we start to feel in our bodies the trust and not just hold it in our mind?
By the way, every time I feel anxious and fearful in the midst of unknown situations or ego discomfort, it's a good sign for me that there's light there. So actually practically embracing the unknown is embracing the uncomfortable feeling. So don't escape the feeling. Don't wish the feeling will go away. The fact that you breathe into this anxious energy, it's okay. There's great light in that anxious feeling. My body is still reacting to the old me. by me choosing to be present with that discomfort, I'm creating, I'm sending a signal to my body, I like this moment.
Because the typical signal that says, I don't like this moment, and as a result we're running away from that and we're running away from the light, is when I'm actually worrying. It's bad. This moment is bad. Actually, I like this moment. I'm willing to feel it. Breathe into that. But when will I feel better? Just don't go to the when and the how. Allow the process. That's part of the trusting process. Trusting, the mechanism of trusting, it's an earning process.
It's not something that comes instantly.
And then we lead right into, by not being fixated on the outcome we wanted or something that is predictable for us, then we can tap into what you said before, the limitless potential, right? When that unknown allows us to jump higher. And I think that's also part of this week's energy is that when you when you don't know where you're going and you don't, well, maybe it doesn't sound so good, but when you don't know where you're headed, then you've removed the kind of finite possibilities that you thought were available to you. And you can tap into a better version of your movie, even better than you probably could imagine or, or calculate for. So I think that's, that's something very exciting. I know I, Maybe one of
the things that's challenging in this time is to not be, I think it's a very Scorpion or month of Scorpio thing to be controlled by your mood, you know, to not feel like doing something or to be excited or to not be excited or to be grumpy. But no problem. The problem is only when we allow those moods, those ups and downs, to limit us, to make us hold back, step back, change. You know, we may be very excited about a project that we're working on, but about our relationship.
But then when you don't feel in the mood to give energy, to put, put effort toward it later on, there can be consequences. So I feel like in knowing what we just shared, it's an inspiring approach to, I may feel like canceling all my plans and maybe that is the right thing to do in some circumstances, But if I check in with myself and recognize that my soul really does want to keep moving forward on this, then what my comfort zone is, is showing up. And to have that shift, maybe this is an episode that needs to be listened to multiple times because when you shared that, Eitan, I really felt almost like a chiropractic adjustment internally of part of what's wrong with the way that we navigate our lives is our definition of comfort
is wrong. What's safe is not necessarily comfortable. It's simply predictable. And we like that predictability, but it's not really comfortable. And alignment is really what's comfort. I love it. Very exciting stuff. Also, Eitan, you just started a weekly in-person Zohar class at the Kabbalah Center in New York City.
