Good morning, everyone. Good evening, good afternoon, wherever you are, and welcome to this week's Weekly Energy Boost. My name is Elisheva, and today Eitan and I are sharing the process of discovering our gifts. Many times, the real us craves to be revealed, exposed, to rise up, and we're not always paying attention to those clues, to those messages, to And in the scheme of our spiritual work, this week presents us with a powerful opportunity to look beneath the surface, do the practical discovery, and also uncover not only the gifts that are meant to bring us fulfillment, but the gifts that can actually make the world a better place. Weekly Energy Boost is a seven-day spiritual weather forecast where we provide our listeners with the most practical

and powerful tools to navigate the coming seven days and We do that by gleaning through the wisdom of Kabbalah so that every episode offers wisdom and tools that are not only going to help you take advantage of the opportunities of this week, but they're wisdom and tools that you can use any week of the year, any year of your life. And this week, we're focusing specifically on a section from this week's Torah portion. It's called Chayei Sarah, and it's a very simple story about how Abraham was looking for a burial place for his wife, Sarah, who had passed away. And there's a description of a negotiation process that happens where a specific plot of land seems almost to rise up and call Abraham, asking him, inviting him.

And it was a piece of land that no one else could see but him. And so the Zohar and the Kabbalists reveal to us a methodology through which we can also uncover what's truly meant from us, what's buried within. And we want to use this opportunity, today's episode, to dig deep and share really practical approaches to the same process that Abraham went through 4,000 years ago in uncovering a gift that continues to shine, by the way, till this very day. How can we uncover our own gifts and utilize them for the purpose for which we were given them. So Eitan, where should we begin?

First, I'm happy to share with you the same room in Los Angeles. That's exciting to be here with all of you. And it's such a beautiful section that when the Zohar describe how is it possible that Abram saw the value of that plot that laid on him, buried his wife, Sarah, And the owner of that plot saw nothing, actually saw darkness. The Zohar asked the question, how is it possible that Abram saw light in that cave and the smell of heaven? And Ephron, the owner, saw nothing.

And then the Zohar said this beautiful sentence, because it belonged to his soul. Everything is belonged to his true owner. Which opened the door to understand, wow. So each one of us meant to connect to the things, to the blessings, to the gifts that belongs to our soul. It can be soulmate. It can be the right house. It can be the right occupation. But the main topic that Elisheva and I decided to speak about, how do I reveal in the same way Avram saw, wow, this plot belongs to my family. How do you and me are able to reveal what is the gifts that the Creator gave me that I meant to share, that will contribute to the whole world, and of course, will be able to contribute to me because true sense of fulfillment is when

I am connected to my purpose. And it's interesting, they, in a plane ride from New York to LA, I just read and I highlighted from Rav Ashlag, from the book World Peace. In this book, Rav Ashlag speaks, what is some of the important transformation individually and collectively needs to happen in order to experience Moshiach, world peace, removal of pain of suffering. And he said, and I'll translate simply in English what he's saying, that when every individual will be able to recognize their gifts, their gifts, their attributes, their unique ways they meant to add value, and they will share those gifts for the sake of elevating society.

Society can be few people, many people. And when everyone will do this, or when a critical mass of people will truly reveal the gifts of their soul and how they came to contribute with these gifts, will be a world peace. So, where do we start? What is the process? What is the process that Each one of us daily needs to go in order to actually reveal the gifts and express the gifts. Now, one of the arguments can be, you see a lot of people, powerful people, influential people, that tapped into major gifts that manifest itself in business, in entertainment, They are loud. You see uniquely their gifts, their energy. But they're not necessarily happy and truly fulfilled.

So it's not just, oh, that's my gift. And that's what I came to do in this world. And I'll be a happy person. Of course not.

Because learning from Abraham, number one in you, the gifts came from the Creator. And the only way the gift will add value to your life that you don't hold yourself better than anyone else. And you're cleansing any ego that attach to that gift. Oh, my identity is the gift.

That's who I am. So when people tells me, wow, you're amazing, what a gift, it fills me up. That's the ego that wants to attach itself to false identity. So one thing is to identify the gift, Another thing is to cleanse the layers of ego that are so attached. Because in this world, any blessing, any light, any gifts of layers, shells, clip-on, that we need to cleanse. Because that's what life is about. Earning. Include earning, expressing our gift.

So the fact I found my gift and I'm expressing it, but if it feeds my ego the sense of I'm better than someone else, or the sense of... I'm a nobody unless I will do it and I will express myself. So there's a process. So let's share some steps in identifying gifts, expressing gift, and cleansing the ego that attached to the gift.

I think you said some very powerful things there. And I think part of it is that it is a process, right? That it's not... I have a beautiful voice. I need to be discovered and then I'm going to be happy and famous and have everything I want. Gifts we tend to think of, we tend to associate with talent, which of course a gift is a talent, but it doesn't, I think our conventional perception of what that means prevents us from really seeing the value we bring, right? Of course, being musically gifted, being an actor, being a writer, the things that you can monetize are obviously gifts as well, but there's so many, I want to say almost more unique gifts, less, less, uh, glorified gifts that you and

I have that those are really the things that were meant to contribute to individual people's lives and to the world. And, and I, I meet with a lot of people who say, you know, I haven't found my purpose yet. And they're looking for the career, the mission, the cause that is going to help them feel fulfilled. When again, this is another example of how Kabbalah says your mission is not outside you. Your mission is to identify that inside you and maybe to help the world with it, to benefit others with it. But the internal process is the purpose.

The external is simply the platform on which the internal can be expressed. So you can be, you can have a great sense of humor and share that with others. You can be, I mean, Eitan, you shared really, really great ones a minute ago. You can be a good networker.

You can.

Be good with dogs. You can be good with kids. These, I mean, I often actually look at, my kids' teachers who are so committed and so dedicated and so passionate. And I admire them so much because I was, I tried being a teacher for a couple of years and I didn't have it.

And, and not from a teacher. I am a teacher. I tried to work with young kids, young kids for young kids.

It wasn't, I, you know, again, I may, I may have even been good at it, but it didn't, it wasn't something that was natural and allowed me to bring my own process to the, to the stage, let's say. So looking at those ways, and you might say, oh, I have nothing unique about me. It's not about being unique, right?

It's the one of the unique ways that the light of the creator shines through you. So even if you're great at interior design, and again, that's it to me, I am terrible at stuff like that. I'm not a visual person. So when I see somebody who has a gift for that, I admire it. I'm so impressed by it. And I try not to let it make me feel any less because it's not one of my gifts. We're not here to be the same. We are here to be uniquely us. So part of the discovery process is not, we have to be really careful about it because everybody is out there showcasing their gifts and making it seem effortless and perfect and and monetized. And so I think it's important that we emphasize also that this journey is

not a public one. If at some point your gift can benefit the public, that's also beautiful, but it's a very deep and personal journey. You may have friends or loved ones that can support you and reflect for you and give you feedback on this process, but it is a deeply internal process.

But of course, when we're talking about expressing the gift, how can I share and add value in my own unique way? Yeah. It doesn't mean to be public. Millions of people would know about it because each one of us. So I think step number one is very often looking at other people causes us to feel envy, jealousy, which we call it evil eye, or more insecurity, or I want to be that as well. And looking too much in the outside caused me to have less sense of recognition of what actually I'm meant to do. So I think one of the daily spiritual questions is, please the Creator, allow me to express the light, the goodness, the sharing that I'm meant to, according to my unique soul. As your channel. That's a daily. But after truly appreciation, which

is the modern recognition and appreciation for the blessing in my life, that's to say, please allow me to express true giving without agenda for the sake of truly elevating and building, not for the sake of I'll get people to appreciate me. And then I will feel enough.

No.

Unconditional. Second, ask yourself a simple question. What are some of the things you're good at? Simple. Let's say you have no clue. I don't know where to start. Are you good at listening? Are you good at making people feel good about themselves? Are you good just in creating energy of empathy around people that help people to open up and to share? Are you good in communicating? Are you good with kids? Are you good with adults? Are you a good friend? Are you a good problem solver?

What is some of the thing that somehow you're good at beyond your head? You don't have, let me think about it. Yeah, I want it to be my gift, but I need to overthink it. Certain things that just comes to you. The same way a person is talented, maybe they become better and better, but there's some natural flow.

Make a list for yourself. We all have these gifts. The same way there's no two identical fingerprints, there's no two identical souls that meant to channel the same energy and i would start with that and and it's a big difference when i when i compare to the world when i compare to social media and then i'm trying i also wants to give gifts very often the disconnected it comes as well that's not the intention I want to express my soul purpose because giving is the purpose of life giving in a way I came to give and start with little ways and then take one of this gift how can I do more of this today as a channel of the creator not as me I have a gift I want people to know.

And make better like Of course, I need to make effort. I need to learn how to become better by practice, by recognition, by learning, by opening my mind, by learning even from others, but not from place of insecurity.

So that's one. Make it better. And gradually, you develop a sense, yes, that's what I can end on. That's what I can contribute. And you become a magnet to attract the right situation. Actually, the Zohar is saying, what is the biggest gift the Creator can give us? When you're coming from pure desire to share, He will send you the people that needs your sharing.

But I think what's important about that is that sometimes when we think of our gifts, we think, ah, but I can't help that many people, or I don't have that many clients, or I haven't made a name for myself. It's not about quantity. It's about quality. That you, even if... it's not your paid profession to share your gift, this specific gift with the world, the more you seek the opportunities and genuinely desire to share that gift with the world, the more you will attract the people who need that gift.

So it's not about how big is the audience, it's about how deep is the connection.

Exactly, exactly, absolutely. Another thing that I've seen, pay attention when When you see other people shining in their unique way, how fast do you actually bless them and happy for them without comparing to yourself, without feeling low? Because that's part of the cleansing process. If I'm just happy only when I'm expressing my gift, when someone else expressed the gift, I'm not so happy. So actually... I'm not voting for the world. I'm not representing the creator. I'm representing my own little ego. And that's a cleansing process. We all have that part of us. I want to be unique.

I want to be the only one. It's okay.

Not only it's okay. It's meant to be that way.

It's meant to be, actually. That sense of I'm unique. But then you need to gradually cleanse the ego that's attached to it. Because I'm unique is I'm the only one. Right. So... So more you catch it, one second, send them blessing. Yeah, but what about me? I feel less than. Recognize the opposite. More you're happy for them, I'm getting energy to express my gift. And think about, in real leadership, in a company, in a family, in a marriage, in editing, is the ability to say clearly, you know what? I'm not so good in details. I'm not so good with money. I'm good with people. I'm not so good in the big picture.

I'm just good in the small picture. The ability to recognize true team as each individual, as their unique superpower and their unique contribution. And by the way, it's a process. You think that's my gift. You think it's the other person's gift. But as you do things from good work and you try to work on your ego and you try to cleanse and even though you feel rejected you say it's okay my ego is rejected my intention is really then there's more clarity like eventually for abram it says and abram saw huge light he didn't he went he walked by that that cave many years before but he had to go through a lot of process until the veils went away and suddenly he felt tremendous energy from that place ultimately in our potential when the veils

of the ego are gone and the mind stops interrupting us with comparing I'm good, I'm bad, I'm better, I'm worse, then we'll be able to attract everything that belongs to us. That's my zone. That's my job. That's the house. That's the table I want to sit in the restaurant. That's the furniture that belongs to my life. Why you buy, as Rav Berg spoke about it many times, you buy, you're going to shop, and you like that dress, or you like that suit, or you like that shirt, and say, wow, I love it, and then you don't wear it. And other times you buy something, and you wear it for five years. What's it even? Because even things that we buy, certain belongs to us, the sparks of light, and everything.

And certain don't belong. And the goal is true happiness is not just to do good things or to get big things. It's to connect the things that belongs to me, not from ownership, from flow.

And that point is important also because I think there's also a certain misconception that if it's a natural gift from my soul, it's going to be easy and it's going to be smooth and it's just going to come naturally and I'm going to do what you're saying and it's all going to fall into place. The process that Abraham went through that strengthening of the vessel that you spoke about last week, actually, it's the same idea that in order to really be able to shine, we need to strengthen our foundation and the cleansing process that often comes, you know, it's like, um, and this is maybe a oversimplified way to say it, but let's say you sit down at a piano and you realize, Oh, you know, I like how this feels. I hear the songs in

my head and it's, do you still need to take classes? Probably, right? Even though you're naturally inclined to music or even languages, right? You may have a knack for languages. You still need to study the language. There's still rules and grammar and punctuation. But the fact that you have a natural inclination and the creator has given you, it's so funny because a few weeks ago, we talked about how One of the greatest things you can do for the world is work on your tikkun. And in that episode, we mentioned that tikkun is also elevating your gifts, revealing your unique light in the world. And this is exactly what we're talking about, that people think, and it's funny because I remember, I think it was last year around this time, you did

an episode with Jay Shetty on his podcast with Madonna.

Yeah.

And Jay Shetty asked Madonna, what do you think your purpose is? And she said, to reveal the light of my soul. And then he said, well, how do you do that? And she said, in parenting and in music. And she went to all these very beautiful ways, but also very mundane, very day-to-day. And I think about that all the time because it's easy to see and feel the light when you're on stage and thousands of people are applauding for you. Do you really, when you're sitting with someone who really needs your words of encouragement and your support and your listening and you're making them feel seen and heard, do you feel that that's the most fulfilling thing? And the answer can very well be yes.

That's what we're talking about this week, that you're bringing attention to the unique opportunities that are meant for you that don't depend on audience, that don't depend on income, that don't depend on anything else. but your desire to share them. And so the willingness to go through the process like Abraham went to, that he knows he's gonna be tested and he knows there's gonna be obstacles and he knows that there's going to be resistance along the path because that's what reveals, releases the shells and reveals the light. So even the expectation that revealing my gifts is gonna be smooth and easy is a bit of a trap because the diamond, yes, Pressure creates diamond, but you also have to polish the diamond afterwards and keep

it clean and take care of it. And that's the work that we're talking about tonight.

Absolutely. And sometimes polishing the diamonds is overcoming self-doubts. Yeah, that's a big one. That suddenly feeling, I have nothing to add. I have nothing to contribute.

Or he said it or did it better than I did. Whatever that is, it's like the comparison... touching that self-worth wound, right? And that's why I love the section that you read from Avashag because you realize then that if someone else is revealing their light, it's helping all of us. It's in no way eclipsing what I'm doing or taking away customers or whatever it possibly could be. How do we wrap up.

This process, this procedure? My suggestion is is daily discipline this week. Two things. Number one, pray for specific people to express their beautiful sparks of the Creator in them. Some of them already doing it, pray them to do even better. And that it will bring joy and fulfillment to others and to themselves. Because if you truly care that your gift will make a difference, We need to care that other people give too many differences. If not, it's fake. It comes from evil. Number two. Recognize this week one thing that you're good at. Forget about now.

In the profession. In ways that you add value to people, to humans. And focus on expressing it daily and become better in it. And maybe read more about it. So instead of waiting for the calling to come, let's start from the inner knowing that we have already. What we're good at. It's not ego to say, I'm good in that.

It's a gift from the Creator. So that's where I would start this week.

Excited because I think when thousands of people start to focus on how can I reveal my gifts, that has to make a difference for the rest of the world. That's a pretty awesome assignment.
