Who is “The One Left Behind”? Is it Nisha, Pavi, or — as Katie puts it — literally everybody else in Ellora?
Jordan and Katie break down Book One: Survival, Chapter 5: The One Left Behind and the two of them love it, minus all the secrecy that’s stressing Katie out.
Jordan argues if Ellora is the "Survival Haven" associated with the Root Chakra, then he hopes Akasha is the “Pleasure Haven” which is… a stance.
Daemin’s poster shenanigans give Katie “Mulan” vibes and Jordan loves the balance of tension and humor in this episode, especially the Elderly Elloran Citizen.
This would have been Jordan’s favorite episode of the series thus far, had it not been for the most unbelievable scene in the Avatarverse he has ever seen: the food fight.

Hello, you beautiful benders and non-benders. On this episode of Yippy Parade and Avatar Podcast, we talk about the fifth chapter of Seven Havens, The One Left Behind.

I'm like so distracted by how beautiful I am. Beautiful you are. Wow.

Yeah, I've got a I've got a face for radio. This episode, I believe, has been the most balanced one yet of the series. It had everything, it had great humor, it had a lot of fear and tension underlying. Also, it had a moment that like stopped me dead cold when Karthik almost pulled us a hair. I was very worried.

I feel like it was a wild episode. What a ride. We got mustaches that burn off. We got mustaches that return magically with the power of a marker. We have so many Avatar Easter eggs, including the blue spirit mask. And we tried to call us Avatar fan. You're just gonna have to find out what happens on this episode of Yip Yip Hooray and Avatar Podcast.

Oh, oh.

Nope. Not enough notes. Welcome to Yip Yip Parade in Avatar Podcast. My name's Jordan.

Hi, Jordan.

Hi. Katie. That's your name.

I'm Katie.

So what is this? What's this thing that we're doing? I don't know. You don't know, you forgot, you've lost track.

Uh this is an avatar, uh, adjacent, I don't know, an avatar spin-off. Setname spin-off! It's a continuation in the series. We're all in the avatar. Very passionate because he is an avatar super fan.

A Nickelodeon certified, recognized super fan. And I'm gonna say that every episode. It lends like a validity to the stupid words that come out of my mouth. So when I say something ridiculous, they can think, you beautiful listeners, yeah, I'm talking to you. You can think, oh, he's not completely insane, just mostly insane.

Okay, so you're a special super advert advertar. I'm a super advertar.

Is that an advertising agent who's also an avatar? Uh, okay. I could be the advertar. Well, if that's what you are.

What does that make me?

I know you are, but what am I? Uh you have been introduced to this world. You have fresher eyes than me. I'm uh I'm old and ragged, and I'm I'm an old vet when it comes to this series.

That's true. You have like too much knowledge and stuff.

I'm bog bogged down a little bit, being weighted down by this response, this brutal responsibility. Terrible purpose, if you will.

Do you feel like it also keeps you grounded? Like that you view it with like a sparkle in your eye, and you're like, oh, they can do no wrong.

I don't think so. There were moments during Korra where I thought, yeah, we can do some wrong. And there are episodes of The Last Airbender that are absolute stinkers. You know, people are like, oh, book three fire, it's so good. Half of Fire is not great. But when you look at it retrospectively, you know, they're exploring the people of the Fire Nation.

And when you think of it in that respect, I really enjoy it.

I like that you don't give it a pass and that you are like, yeah, everything's great because it's Avatar.

I will say, with that, Avatar Seven Havens, we're off to a to a great start. We are five episodes in. This episode of the the Yippy Parade podcast, we're talking about Book One Survival, Chapter Five, The One Left Behind.

I feel like there was a lot going on, and I feel like I've been saying this every time, but I'm like, whoa.

I think it felt like there was more going on in this episode because so little really kind of was going on in the faceless. Like this was a much denser, higher quality episode. I wrote I wrote in my notes, I felt it was the most balanced episode yet. I think the humor was fantastic. I don't think it was too infantilized.

I don't think it was low-hanging fruit. I think we were giving humor appropriate to all the characters. There was great sight gags, which takes me back to Last Airbender. Sight gags have always it's been a what's a sight gag? Sight gag is a beautiful tradition in the Avatar verse. It's when you see some physical comedy that happens.

So my example of a great sight gag that happened in chapter five was Jay being like, Hello, elderly Aloran citizen, do you need assistance? And she just blew a raspberry, and then some large hunky man picked up this tiny elderly woman, and then they just walked away.

I mean, that was the best. But like, was she carrying? Like, she carried like a pot or something, right?

Of oz.

Yeah.

So yeah, the one left behind, I think, has been the strongest overall episode. We got some nuggets of information about the girls. I think that was good. We had some really good bending. I think the animation felt pretty good. I think there were some interesting character moments. Clearly, Jay does have growth that's been going on.

He's still questioning the need for secrecy. Like, why can't we just come together? He's really he is not letting himself dive into fear, and I think a lot of the other characters are falling into fear.

Yeah. I feel like all the secrecy is stressing me out. It's like I don't like it. I'm like Jay.

Well, speaking of secrecy, I think one of the big things that came out of this episode is Karthic does have communication with what we believe to be another haven. And so now we know the name. If it is a haven, which I believe it is, it's Akasha, is the name of the haven he contacted. And I believe Akasha's gonna be the pleasure island.

Oh great.

I want it to be the pleasure haven't Akasha Sin.

Do you feel like it's like that we wanted to promote that? Like, was he saying as like a positive, like, oh yeah, great, like now people kind of like know, like there's a discussion happening that the avatar is back, or was it like, uh, uh-oh.

Well, it could be a red herring that we are led to believe that it's a no-no that the information about the avatars are spreading, but it definitely felt like like this is a negative thing. And you mentioned yesterday after we watched The Faceless that you were feeling like Karthik is really intentionally like hiding the Avatar and the information about Nisha.

So what do you think about that?

Well, what did I say yesterday?

You said something like maybe he's hiding her for their own purposes. Like, I don't know, maybe the Order of the White Lotus is not what we think it is anymore. No. Oh wow. I don't know. I want Karthik to be good. He's said so many good things. He had that great line about maybe the Avatar is the one thing this world needs.

And so ultimately, m my heart tells me Karthic is going to be a good character. We might have conflict with Karthik later on, but Right.

And like his as we saw in this episode, it's like his solution or what he thinks should be happening right now, and maybe what Jay thinks should be happening right now is different. Right. I think what I said yesterday to you privately.

Uh and I said, save it for the pod. Because we can't even have conversations anymore. It'll have to be with this.

I know, it's just silent. So yeah, I think what I was talking about was you know, we don't really know what Karthik is up to, and it's like right, where it's like, oh, he's like keeping the avatar avatars, you know, like safe and protected and blah blah blah. But it's like, right, maybe maybe he is hiding them so and then purposely like keeping them locked up so that, you know, then it's like, well, they're alive, but at least I have them kind of uh right.

But what purpose would the Order of the White Lotus and Karthik have besides just keeping these young children safe? And what purpose would they have to sequester the Avatar away?

Right. I don't know. This was so yesterday. I'm like, you know, I'm not feeling it now. Yeah, you're in today.

You're in the one left behind. And we learned so much. And so one of the things we learned was maybe again with Garthic, I'm taking things that he's saying with a grain of salt. I want to believe them all. But we learned that maybe they he received correspondence from Nisha and Puffy's parents. But I don't believe they even have parents.

I believe they were born of the force.

Okay, but it's like, right, how would the parents like the contact? I don't know. I don't know. Okay, wait, what do we think about the title of this episode?

The one left behind. Does it mean Nisha or does it mean puppy?

Or does it mean everybody else?

Does it mean like they are the one left behind? I believe it's it's in response to one of the girls, and you can probably interpret the title in a couple different ways. Like, was Nisha left behind? And did Puffy go with her parents? Yeah. Like maybe they tried to get rid of Nisha. Maybe Puppy wasn't showing any signs of having like the abilities of the Avatar.

Right.

Uh tinfoil hat. Maybe Nisha and Puppy were one person, and then something crazy happened and they split into two. I don't think that's that I don't think that's gonna be a thing.

Well, hopefully we find out. I was like, uh Datu clearly a non-bender.

Clearly a non-bender.

Right. So watching.

No, it's gotta be about the girls.

Well, yeah. Okay, Datu was like, right, is he a guard? I guess I thought he was a bender also, but if he was a bender, he'd be wearing them bender clothes.

Right. And he's just a dude with a dude with a lance. Took me five episodes to figure that out. Uh Datu doesn't show up in the premiere, so you got a couple, a couple. Okay, with the guards, when Moline? When Moline went full red eye, which what's Bhutan doing? Is he gonna is he freaking out? Is he in a straitjacket somewhere?

Are they holding him down? We haven't seen him at all. No. Is he in a cage? I don't know.

Right.

Is he turning to a werewolf?

Werewolves along. And like, are other people like noticing the red eyes or Or is it just for us, the viewers? Right. So we know.

Okay, so this is something that whole scene was very tense. And I think this episode did a really, really good job, in my opinion, of balancing the humor and fear and tension. Like this was a very kind of tense episode, but there were moments where we kind of let off, you know, kind of let the air out a little bit when Nisha and Puppy are like being goobers.

And so I think that really helped with this episode because it could be very serious. And that might have been one of the issues with Korra. Like it just got too heavy because it was so real, because we're dealing with people emerging into adulthood.

I feel like you can't stop talking You gotta compare and contrast. I don't know.

Leave Korra, leave Korra out of this. Well, we can't leave Korra out of this because she made it and made a cameo in this episode when her wooden doll made out with an Asami wooden doll.

No, I was like, okay.

Um Okay. What I was saying was the fear and the tension in this episode. I think it came to this like insane climax when Karthik, without any hesitation, pulled the Zaheer move where he put a ball of air around Moline's face and pulled the air out of his mouth. I thought he was going down. And I was like, dang.

Not a moment of hesitation. Karthik was like, I know what to do. Like, I think Karthik is a very, very powerful airbender. Because Zaheer, like, it took him a minute to like get that little bubble ball going. Karthik was like, I can just rip it right out. Oh my god. I it like stopped my heart. I was like, what's gonna happen?

I don't want to watch a death. I know.

I just felt like it was it was pretty tense.

So how was that scene for you?

Yeah, I I just felt like it was so intense and I didn't I wasn't expecting it, and and I'm happy that we didn't kill him off. But I felt I felt sad that you know what Moline just really wanted was He was doing what he thought was right, and that's what Dante was doing.

They're all doing what they think is right. When you are told for centuries at this point that the avatar is the worst thing ever, like, yeah, all these people are obviously going to like be on high alert and want to spread the word that this awful thing is happening.

You know, and when you're dismissed and invalidated and you know, and then you're like, no. But I'm like, yeah, what was his plan? Was he gonna kill the Chancellor?

Who, Moline or Datsu?

Moline.

Uh, I th I don't maybe I think what was their plan? I think he was just gonna use her as a bargaining chip to like get get the information they needed, but clearly validation they needed. Yeah. Red-eye crazy boy. But then we get this other little little nugget that well, because there is an inherent sexual tension being between Kayoko and Karthik, but we definitely get it very obviously here where Karthik or no, she says to him, timing's never been on our side.

And so you're like, oh, so this is like a really will they won't they kind of situation.

Well, it sounds like they've chosen their careers.

Well, that's true. Kayoko, I uh initially in like the trailer in our first couple meetings of her, I did get bad vibes, but now I'm like, I'm softening on Kayoko, and I think obviously she's just trying to keep Alora safe. Right. And she said some like you know the law.

Uh-huh.

Meaning, like, is there a law in place? Like, either within Alora or between the other Seven Havens to have like zero communication. So like, what's up with that?

Right. I mean, there's a lot of there's a lot of like little little nuggets that were like, what is happening? And like there's so much to to figure out, yeah, to unpack. Oh god, this episode was good.

Uh something that I don't know if you if you've noticed, but Nisha and Puffy are all about hand gestures. They're very physical.

Oh yeah?

Like, there's so many, like, you know, as we have been uh we've been doing, we've been doing Nisha's little like thumbs up from a couple episodes, from one of the first episodes. We've definitely upped our thumbs up. And then they did something in the faceless where they're doing like a lot of like pointing, like a like one of those.

And in this one, they did like a you know, a chest bump and then Oh yeah, they did like a little handshake type thing. And then they went like you know, they're just being goobers. Do you believe that they've gotten so close so quickly?

Yes.

I guess also probably like they're probably remembering maybe even like muscle memory, their life three years ago and before.

Well, I'm thinking like when you're both so lonely, and then you figure out you have a sister, you have a twin, you have you share a lot of similarities, and and yeah, besides getting some some memories back, I think just it would be like a fun playmate.

To go romp in the sewers with.

Yeah, and then they're spending all this time together. So yeah, I do believe that they could get close so quickly.

I'm still very surprised at how much Nisha is in this series. Like she is definitely one of the main protagonists. Like it definitely is very Jay, Nisha, Puppy, Karthik focused. And I definitely thought Nisha and Karthik were probably going to be in the background a little bit more, and we were gonna focus a lot more on Jay and Puppy.

Yeah.

But this series, we're definitely focusing kind of on Alora itself and kind of their issues, and we're following these characters within it. What do you think about that?

You know, I think it's working. Whatever they're doing, I don't think it's too much or too little. I think it's balanced.

And I think there's this interesting thing that we saw in this episode that we've discussed before, but Nisha clearly is really relishing in this role of being the Avatar, and Puffy is like constantly questioning it.

Yeah. Well, so what do you think about it?

I mean, are you h happy that there's I'm ultimately happy that we have like this ragtag group that we're following. It feels more like Avatar the Last Airbender, where we get to follow a couple different perspectives. And you get that a lot more when you watch it thinking like, oh, like the a lot of Zuko and Ayro stuff is happening, and then you get Team Avatar.

And like you had both of those those perspectives. And the episodes where Zuko and Iro didn't appear, there does feel like there's something missing in Avatar the Last Airbender. And so in this one, I am really appreciating that we are getting an assortment of perspectives.

Yeah.

And that's been really working for me. What did you think about Hamka in this episode? Our Fireboy Order of the White Lotus. And by Fire Boy, Fire Man. Very grumpy Fireman.

You know what? I I feel like he's like a more intense, like Boomy or something.

Boomy, like brother Boomy or King Boomy?

Brother.

Okay, brother. Is it because of the hair? Or like a way more intense boomy.

Super intense.

Like Boomy, who like war was very different for him.

I uh thought he was fun and entertaining and is doing his duty, protecting or babysitting, and isn't uh having an easy go of it. These two the stash getting burned off.

Hilarious! That what a bit, what a sight gag. Again, just the the the humor in this, it just harkened back to some of the brightest moments in Avatar The Last Airbender, where we are dealing with this kind of intense epic fantasy. And then when you can have characters who are doing silly things or like funny things happen, but it's not I don't know, just the humor really works for a guy like me.

And the fact that this angry fireboy was able to get his mustache singed and he ran away to go doodle one on, and then for the rest of the episode, he just has a doodled mustache.

Do you think that's gonna be in the next one too?

It better be. I want all facial hair doodled. Karthik, he's getting it burned off. That's the only facial hair I can think of off the top of my head right now. Ooh, speaking of facial hair, did you appreciate um I'm gonna say it was an overt Mulan reference with Demon.

Oh, it was definitely a Mulan reference. What was the reference to?

So, right, he's like sniffing and licking and examining the uh Okay, now we have at least two characters, two main-ish characters in the series who have actively licked something that you maybe shouldn't have licked. It goes back to Sokka, you know, when they're like, oh, after coming off the cactus juice that you just lick a wall.

I have a natural curiosity. Okay, we love characters who lick things.

Okay, so yeah, he's examining the posters and then touches the ink and then does his little like mustache goatee thing around his mouth, and it's very Mulan.

What point of Mulan? The when the Huns come and they're coming down the field in one of the first uses of CGI in an animated feature film?

No, not that part.

Oh, okay.

In the tea room.

In the tea room.

Where Mulan is doing her What character is she with? I don't know.

The matchmaker.

The matchmaker.

Please bring honor to us.

Anyway. Yeah, no, it was not going well.

But is that a reference to something else? When, like, I don't know, is that a reference to something? You know, when you see something that's a reference to something that you know that maybe is a reference to something else? Like the movie You've Got Mail, when we find out that's actually an homage to a 1940s movie called The Shop Around the Corner.

That's true.

You're welcome, everybody.

Man, this will give me on some trivia.

I'm here for the trivia. Okay, so Demon, Demon's a goofball. I thought Devon Demon was gonna have some darkness, and I don't I think he's just gonna be a goober. Like, I think that's what that's what's going on. So with Demon, like Demon was clearly approached to be in the Order of the White Lotus at some point.

Right. Why wasn't Jay? Maybe because Jay is a rule follower.

Mmm, and Demon licks posters.

Right, and Demon's like marking to the beat of his own drum.

Well, so if you want the rule followers, so Kartha clearly, right, understands these laws of Alora or the Seven Havens and wants to operate outside of them while being in the system. Okay. Definitely in the system. So maybe we recognize Jay as having a lot of potential, but was maybe a little too rigid.

Right. Okay. So I think right, if Jay hadn't found Putty, then Yeah, Jay would not be in. Okay, so what do you think like the fear is, like just with everyone?

Of the Avatar or in this scenario? I think it's again, it goes back to the book title, like book one survival. Like, I think these people are trying to create a culture and a society. And they're, you know, make and do. I mean, it seems not as apocalyptic as I thought the series was going to be.

Yeah.

Especially when you get when we got the first like taste of what this was going to be like after a cataclysm, da da da da da. Like, I definitely thought we were gonna be a little more Mad Max. Like I thought it was gonna be a little more wild west, very anarchic, anarchic. So I am surprised that we have like a fully functioning, like beautiful society.

Like, I I really appreciated how the episode began and we got to see Alora at night and got the spirit lights in the sky. But I think the the model of the city is like really pretty, and everything's kind of red tinged, but like a really the hue of the red's really nice, and I appreciated the night market.

I was admiring like everyone's garb, like how how everything's just like they're very, very inspired. Like Alora is very clearly its own place, and I I really think they've done a lot of really good work on that. Yeah, I think it's visually very pretty and really appealing, but so the fear I think comes from this thing that we have protected and built in the face of catastrophe, even if it's not perfect, like what is the alternative?

Like, it's the fear of change, it's the fear of losing what this could be, probably the fear of. Gamble. Like if we embrace the avatar and we try to like fix this world, like what does that mean for Alora and our people?

Well, so in this moment, do you agree with Jay or Karthik on like on what like should they have told everybody about the girls or I don't know.

I think it's you can't really change hearts, right? Like Jay changed his opinion of what the Avatar could be based on meeting Pavi and having her act selflessly to save his life. And so that I think already he was. I mean, obviously he didn't know she was the Avatar when he followed her. She was just a rogue bender, but then being like, oh my god, you're the Avatar.

And then but you're like, oh, but I've seen you do this stuff before. So if they were to introduce the girls into the society in some way, and then be like, oh, and they're the Avatar. I don't know, like how do you how do you change 225 years of bad press?

Well, and also like they had an opportunity to come clean, and then they were like lying to everybody and be like, no, so then how is that gonna be moving forward? Be like, actually, you guys were right.

Oh yeah, Kaioko's gonna be very upset. I know. She is especially she's gonna bring down the hammer on Karthik, I think. Even though they're Jay's parents. Totally. So yeah, I don't I don't know how you could reintroduce them. And it's it goes back to like show uh telling and not showing. Like if they if Jay got on the mic and was like, hey everyone, it's Jay, you know me, you love me.

Uh or you did. Uh we have the Avatar. There's two now, and uh they're great, they're super sweet, they're silly, they're so fun. But yeah, I don't think you'd probably get like half the population to follow.

Yeah. Yeah, it's gonna be interesting to see how it all goes down. What'd you think about the secret room?

Loved it. Uh I thought it was gonna be bigger, and then when it opened and they're like, oh, secret door, I turned to you and said, Secret tunnel. So I didn't sing it like that. Uh, did you pick up on a lot of the little Easter eggs that were placed around Karthik's secret room? What, like the blue mask?

Uh it's the blue spirit mask. Thank you very much. How did he get all these things? He had Sokka's hammer sword. He had either a Kyoshi Warrior fan or just straight up Kyoshi's fan. He had uh obviously the dolls of Korra and Asami. Right. But no Bolin, no Mako. What's up with that? Where's the Ten? Where's the Milo?

Yeah, it was an interesting collection.

But then I also think he had the Avatar, like the four Avatar toys that you choose to know who the next Avatar is. I think he had those in there too. And that was that is supposed to be reminiscent of how they find the next Dalai Lama, is they have these things. But how they do it is they put them amongst like a collection of other things, and when whoever finds, you know, Aang found the four like totems because they were items he had in his past life, and they're like, uh-oh, Avatar.

So I think I think Karthik had those. But yeah, seeing the blue spirit mask was was pretty cool for me. I just I love I love seeing that creepy, ugly mask.

Okay.

Maybe the girls will they'll wear it, yeah. Be sword fighters. I want to go back to Hamka and the fire training scenario. Uh Nisha was doing a lot of like fire redirecting, and they might have done that in the in Korra and Airbender a little bit. But this was like the most we've been seeing taking the energy of fire and kind of like swirling around.

I don't know if you've noticed that, but they've there's been a lot of like we're gonna redirect that. And I appreciate that. Yeah, I liked it. What did you think about their like Michelin man training outfits?

I was happy that they had them on. They could take a hit with them. I was a little surprised to see it, but safety first. And then 250 years later.

And we have we have we have helmets.

Yeah, we have more protection going on.

That's good. Uh so that whole scene was like super funny. Hamka clearly has some anger issues. He's blowing fire out of his nose, but that doesn't catch his mustache on fire. Maybe he can direct where that goes. Clearly a very talented bender. Uh, but then when he pulled out fire swords, I was really happy about that.

I was like, what is going on? But I was happy where we just like put him in the box. It was a maze.

We put him in the maze. Which led to what I believe is the most unbelievable scene I may have ever seen in any Avatar series so far. Is that he couldn't get out? No, a food fight scene.

That was crazy.

I don't believe, I don't believe food fight scenes happened. You and I have uh decades between us of camp experience or like being in school's experience. Not once. Not one time has anybody ever even made the slightest notion to throw their handful of mashed potatoes. It's true. Not one time.

It's not real.

So when when was this happening in society? When were people like actively tossing their food around? When was it happening? What happened? Was it the 50s? I just I don't believe it. We need to start. We need to call your grandma. Especially I could call her right now. Uh with food fight things, I also, because Alora is like trying to ration its food, I was like, why are we why are we wasting this beautiful like non in Curry?

It was crazy. It was the mo it was the least unbelievable scene I've ever seen. And that includes the Korra finale with the large platinum man.

What?

Yeah, that was the most unbelievable scene in the whole series.

Well, now we know.

Have you noticed that we are really relying on just the foundational elements? Like we're definitely only bending air, fire, earth, and water slash ice a little bit, but that's always kind of been a given. There's no metal, there's no electricity.

Right.

What do you think about that?

Well, I guess I feel fine about it. Back to the basics.

It does feel like, again, like I said when we previewed this, this series feels so much like a spiritual successor of Avatar the Last Airbender. Mm-hmm and not necessarily Korra. And I think ultimately it's working, and I am really, really appreciating the direction they're going.

Well, I think this is like, I mean, right, you were obviously disappointed in Korra.

Well, I'm not dis you know, Korra, it had pieces. It's just Nickelodeon. Viacom. Yeah, yeah, we know what the problem is. They uh hampered what the potential of that series could have been. So, right, the end product I am ultimately disappointed in. Last airbender, love. Seven havens. Five episodes in, we're doing pretty good.

We're doing pretty well. Yeah. I have a last question.

Please.

What is going on with the like bracelet pendant things?

I was also thinking about that, like, because Puffy's brooch, if you don't respect the brooch, then you don't respect me. Yeah, she has one with like three knots in it, her brooch, and then Nisha's bracelet has two.

Hmm.

So again, it goes into my triplet theory. Oh, right. There's gonna be another there's gonna be a third one, and they're gonna have one knot. Oh my god. There's our triplet. We got a Huey Dewey and Louie situation. That would be crazy. I don't know, because we focus a lot on them, especially now. Because I've I've noticed the brooch on Puppy, because clearly she's in tatters, still hasn't gotten a better cloak.

You know, no one's worried about getting her right.

She looks pretty rough, but has that.

Like she doesn't have anything, but she's got that one thing that's like so is it something spirit world related? Is it some key that they're gonna have to use to help heal the world somehow? Twin power. I don't know. And what we think about a Karthic like finding Nisha like out in the harshlands and then picking up and saying we've been waiting for you?

Picking her up. Right.

Yeah. Uh do we think that is actually what happened?

In this moment, I'll say yes.

You're believing? You're believing it? I'll believe it. If you're taking Karthik at his word.

I'll believe it today. Okay, that's good. I feel like you don't believe him.

I want to believe. Like I said, in my heart, I trust Karthik. I'll follow into bit into battle. He's a good air boy. He's a windman, he's a wind boy. I don't know. There's just something up. There's something a little sketch, even though we present like, oh no, we're part of the Order of the White Lotus.

I have the blue spirit mask. I stole all this stuff. I don't want to be paranoid about Karthik. I want to trust him. It's okay.

We'll have to see what happens next. You know, Katie, do you are you checking your watch? I know. I'm checking it. What what time is it?

It's time to cold call an Avatar fan. Alright. I'm uh 15% sure this person's gonna answer their phone. It's probably not gonna be as bad as our last friend. Nope. Nothing. It's still ringing. Zero. Bopcaster.

Your call has been forwarded to us now. So the person you're trying to reach is not available. At the tone, please record your message. When you have finished recording, you may hang up.

Hi Katie. Jordan here with Yippy Parade and Avatar Podcast. And um, we were just calling to cold call an i Avatar fan, and you didn't answer. And now all the listeners are gonna know that Katie, not the other Katie that's the co-host, but the Katie you in the phone, didn't answer to talk about Avatar Seven Havens, but that's okay.

And um, I hope you're having a really nice day. Yep, yep.

What a bummer. You know, this cold calling an Avatar fan, it's only gonna work if uh they answer.

This is why in society we're too busy like answering a text and not a phone call.

See, this is exactly why we need you, you person on the other end to You, Jonathan. To call.

You accept, thank you for listening. We appreciate you.

We need we need a call.

Send us a voice message to yippy podcast at gmail.com, or there's like a thing in here where you can send us mail, send us your your thoughts. Or if I'm super wrong with a lot of the things that have been coming out of my mouth, which we know just I run it all the time. All the time. Let me know. I would really appreciate it.

You know, I uh could probably tell you episode titles and the names of most of Avatar the Last Airbender if I really thought about it. They probably wouldn't be they'd be like 90% in order, but there's some where it's like, oh, is the fortune teller first or is Jet first? You know, things like that. But I don't know the names of any of these episodes.

I couldn't tell you any, but I'm trying.

In Avatar the Last Airbender, besides the fortune teller and jet that I just gave you, give me the title of one Avatar the Last Airbender episode.

Um what's the one?

The Great Divide! The Great You Sticko! You sticko! I trusted you. We all trusted you. So I just went on Google. If you want to sponsor us Google, that's fine. I know you got the money. I went on the Google machine to see what the next episode was. It told me the next episode's title is number 106. What?

It's not, that's not what it is. They just, you know, Google sucks. Google AI sucks. But this is an insane. Okay, so it says episode seven's called episode seven, six is seven havens number one oh six, five, the one left behind, is called number one oh five, the faceless was called number one oh, the order was called three, uh, two was called Into the Storm, which appropriate.

That's the literally the only one that is correct. They said the first episode in uh on this Google thing is Alorizonte. Wow. Look at that. Look at that. I'm gonna hand you your phone right now. Alorizonte. Oh, whoa. What? Yeah, why does it say that?

It's like all with a little uh apostrophe. A little apostrophe. Horizonte. Okay.

Okay, well, I do remember that being episode, the first episode.

Do you know what it's called?

I do now.

What are we watching next?

The next episode and the finale of batch two of Seven Havens.

Yes, the finale.

Is called You Ready? I'm ready. It's very spooky-coated Night of the Afflicted.

Hmm.

I'm thinking maybe like zombie thing. I think people are I think Moline is is it's gonna spread. I think Boontan's gonna show up. I'm thinking we're getting a lot of red eyes.

What?

I think it's gonna be a spooky nighttime episode. I think the girls are probably gonna get revealed because they're gonna have to help everybody. I think like half the brigades are gonna go all like red-eyed and scary. The camadillos are gonna freak out. I think it's gonna be a spook, a spooky episode.

Maybe the girls are gonna have to leave Alora and go to the Hearstlands and to go find the faceless to help them.

And here comes Yuki. Oh my god. And then we're gonna find their parents. Are we gonna find Nisha and Puffy's parents?

I think we're gonna find out what happened.

I think we're gonna find I don't know if we'll find out what happened in this season. But maybe we'll get, I think we'll probably get some indication of a direction for them to go. I think that's the best we're gonna get. I don't think we're gonna find out what happened to them. Because again, these two girls were born of the force.

Alright. Well, everyone, find a cat monkey. I don't know, what do they eat? Hey. Give them some hay, rub their belly, check them for fleas.

Maybe they eat cashew nuts.

Maybe they do. Those are well, or they're like the fruit part of the cashew.

Hmm. Okay.

Anyway, uh, beware of having the red eyes. Don't give in to fear. Love your neighbor. And until next time, friends.

Open up your chakras.

Yep, yep.

Yep, yep.

Thumb away.

I'm a thumb away. How do I sound?

You sound like a thumb. I'm noticing I'm putting a lot of plosive and each time I talk about puffy, puffy, puffy, puffy, puffy, puffy, puffy, puffy, puffy, puffy, puffy, povy, poffy.

I don't know.
