Chapter 2: Into the Storm hits the ground running and doesn't let up!
We've got twin Avatars and Jordan, of course, is hoping that they're secretly triplets. Nisha is reminding Katie of Princess Jasmine from "Aladdin" and Jordan breaks down the Sanskrit origins of Pavi and Nisha's names.
Katie struggles with making sound effects with her voice and Jordan spends most of this episode analyzing every character's pupil shape. Spoiler alert: Pavi and Nisha's are different than everyone else.
Katie enjoys Pavi's character arc in this episode and her ability to confront her fears along with a friend.
Jordan throws out some wild theories about the origins of Pavi and Nisha and also pitches a correlation between "Into the Storm" and Avatar: The Last Airbender's pivotal episode "The Storm". Does it work? You be the judge!

All right, everybody. On today's episode, we go hard. I mean, into the storm, I mean, we just hit the ground run. I'm even sprinting.

I think we were feeling that electric shock from episode two. And so we're just kind of like talking, talking that.

It's crazy. We got flashbacks, we got little like creepy, snaky, Miyazaki-esque lightning monster Vatu thing.

We got twin cats.

And I'm I'm throwing it out right now. I'm hoping triplets. And I also think in this episode, I might have cracked a pretty good theory on the origin of Nisha and Pavi. I'm just saying.

And don't forget, we did another everyone's favorite little cold call.

So everybody, be an elephant, never forget, and let's saddle up for this episode of Yip Ya Pray, a Seven Havens Avatar podcast.

Woo!

Welcome to Yip Ya Pare, an Avatar podcast. Specifically an Avatar Seven Havens podcast now. Who are you?

I'm Katie.

And what's your deal? What's what's going on?

Uh I'm a I'm a co-host to you. To me. Uh an uh an Avatar Superfan.

That's true. My who are you? I'm Jordan, and I am a Nickelodeon recognized I don't know. Super fan. Super fan. They made me one. I didn't I wasn't like, I'm not sitting here being like, oh I'm a super fan. They said I was one.

Is this I have a question. Is this gonna be like a regular thing?

I'm gonna say it to every single episode. So you know there's like some validity to what I'm saying, not just some Yahoo that's like, yeah, I turned on the TV and here's this show, and I decided I'd host a podcast about it.

How validated were you to become a super fan?

I was very surprised. Who's driving it this hour? Uh I was quite validated, but I've I've known I've been a super fan ever since book one water finale, Siege of the North, part well, part two specifically. Part one.

Okay. Uh I'm ready to talk about episode two. What's it called? Uh Survivor.

Survivor Hey. It is book one, Survival, Chapter 2, Into the Storm. Into the un. Into the un.

Wow. You know what you hesitated.

Well, on my head. He's kind of goats for it. My headphones are falling off my head. Okay, so this episode, all we've been doing is crying these past two episodes. You and I were just like holding each other's hands and like sobbing.

Um, I was gonna say episode two was intense.

It went hard.

Uh, I was like, okay, it's like a a softball for episode one, and then we're just coming out the gate. I don't know. There was a lot going on. Just like it was intense.

Wanton destruction of Alora. Okay, do you want to talk about just like the finale, the the final parts of that episode where there's like walking lightning? It was Miyazaki-esque and how frightening it was.

Yeah, and I was like the red, I don't know, it was like lightning.

Or you mean the square, square of power.

I don't know, the whole thing. Well, wait, before I forget, I want to go back to the beginning when we're like twin power sisters, we are united. But like before Poppy shows up and Nisha uh is just, you know, having an issue, not allowed to go to the festival.

Having an issue.

A niche. And yeah, I would just feel like it was very like Princess Jasmine. It was like, why can't I go? Why can't I leave the garden wall or whatever?

Who nuts at the garden gate?

It was like she and Raja.

It was like, yeah, I'm just gonna like I guess she does kind of a Raja with Ruhi. Their heads, their heads are too big. Their heads are way too big.

And now we just have two cats with huge heads.

Meow meow. Who are I guess girl, they're girl cats.

Does that make a different sound?

Well, I D. Bradley Baker is the voice act, you know. He's he's a dude. He's a man, I don't know, whatever. So you're getting jasmine vibes. Uh, she does not open.

And I think it's like the it's the hair, but not. I don't know. There's something with like her outfit or like the green that I'm like, I don't know. Do we use jasmine as a as a reference? And it's just interesting because she's all like put together and obviously has had a different experience the past several years.

Three years. Well that that goes to show like we're assuming that these two showed up three years ago, and Nisha got the benefit of being in a structured environment where she was taken care of.

Right.

And Puffy, I don't know why, is living in her cave that she's very, very quick to want to get back to.

What well, she's uncomfortable. And he was used to being alone and fending for herself. But were you surprised that they were like, oh, I don't remember what was what was up before?

Okay, so that starts started to get some gears moving for me. So let's get into wheew, weo, weo! Special effect, special effect, wow, theory corner.

Okay, so if you were special effects theory corner.

Well, you wan do you want to give me a special effect? Give me a sound effect.

I was like, and I mean, uh And here we are in the theory corner.

Okay, put on your tin foil hats, everybody. You got one on. Good. Don't chew on it if you got a filling. Ow.

So I only tried that once. Why did you try it? Because I wanted to know what it was like. I've never tried that. Yeah, it hurts.

Oh.

I don't recommend.

Theory corner. So, friends, if you are listening to this, ideally you've already watched the episode and you're paying for Paramount Plus or yo-ho, sail in the high seas, you know what I mean?

I don't know what you mean.

Alright. Here's my theory. My the initial theory that I have right now, based on everything that came up during Into the Storm, we find out that these two twin avatar girls, they don't have any memory prior to three years ago, which super sketch. And then they show up with their abilities already. Like, we already know that I guess avatars post-Korra are just prodigies.

I mean, yeah, it was like, yeah, I can bend all the elements, no problem. Well, and they both like have the forms down too. I mean, even like Aang, when he's like starting to like struggle with with bending at the beginning of Last Airbender, like he is awkward and doesn't like he needs someone to teach him.

So clearly at some point, someone taught these two.

Yeah.

You know, because they have they have the forms down. Here's my tinfoil hat theory. They're from the past. That they were born after Korra went down, and the cataclysm's happening because when we get those little flashbacks, they're kind of in a different type of world. They're in the desert, things are like crumbling around them, making me think it's like the cataclysm.

So I think what happened was Korra died. These two, like we found out that they are the avatar, they need to be kept safe. Something spiritual, timey whimey happens. Either they are like shot into the future or they're like kept safe. I think something is happening with these two. I don't because now that we're now because we rewatched the the premiere, and it does sound like it's been generations since Korra died, not like Korra died 10 years ago.

Right? They're like talking about their ancestors. So I think the Avatar cycle did continue, and I don't think there was a gap in time. I think we've gone into we've had an Aang like stasis situation going, or some spirit world timey whimey. That's what I got. What do you think? Here's your uh special effect.

Uh yeah, I agree. I think something something's up. Something's something's not right.

Something's something ain't right with you two.

I don't know, and I mean, in my mind, they do kind of look like Cora, but I think that that could just be like girl animation design.

But well, and you know, darker skin, darker hair, just all these things. Also, the guy got purple hair, which I'm into.

Hmm. I haven't picked up on that.

I'm into their character design. Also, their eyes. Everyone else seems to have square pupils going on. These girls got diamonds.

What?

Yeah, they have diamond pupils.

Wow.

Yeah, it's pretty cool. My god, I'll have to check that out. Well, I was just watching you trying to, you know, pick up on those little details. Like, here's another little detail. Okay, give me a sound effect for little details. Oh, that sounded like it was painful. We're back to having gray eyes for airbenders, which we were only doing when the air nomads were like actively a thing.

Okay.

And so only Aang's spawn were rocking the gray eyes. And Ty Lee. So there's like there's always been like speculation that like Ty Lee's like secretly descended from the air nomads.

I think that's just why she's so light on her feet.

Yeah. I think that's mostly just a coincidence, and they just made her eyes of that color. Anyway, so I was looking at Jay and I was like, oh, is Jay like descended from Tenzin and Aang?

Oh.

But then Karthic also had gray eyes, and we did we don't have it confirmed that they're not father and son. That's right. I'm still holding that they are. Also, Jay totally diminished in this episode. Like, I definitely thought we were getting on the Jay train, and we definitely got on the Karthic train instead.

Anyway, we'll come back to that.

I think Jay's coming back.

So I don't I now don't think that Jay and Karthik are actually descended from the Aang Tenzin line. I just think I think maybe we get we went back to having gray eyes like a generation later. I don't know. I'm confused. It's been 200 years. Okay. Also, what was up with like Commander? Commander Shepard.

Sorry, I'm going Mass Effect. Uh his name's uh Commander Eypatch.

Yeah.

Because, you know, the eyepatch. It was like Boontan or something. Fire. Uh, you mean what happened at the end of the episode? He was scared. There was a spirit world demon Vatu friend. Or Vatu.

I was surprised. I guess I didn't realize that he was the commander and like maybe like the commander of of the whole the whole shebang. Okay.

He went down, which makes me think Karthik's gonna be acting commander.

I mean, that's that's what it seems like.

We're gonna get like another, another bad person being the commander.

Oh yeah.

Uh so right. Commander boy is like being hunted by Vatu Evil Square. Yeah, so it's like stalking him and then I don't know, drives him crazy or gives him some sort of like vision because he's like his eyes are like his his eye, excuse me. Eye, his eyes all wonked out. Well, because you were like, oh, are they gonna like it's gonna like possess him?

Which that didn't well, we don't know, but it didn't seem like he was possessed necessarily. But he definitely has has been given a vision.

Right.

So we might hear from him later with being like, Oh, they're coming.

Yeah. I mean it was kind of it's coming. What did he say? I think he said it's.

I wish I'd watched the show.

I know. Cotton. I feel like it was, I mean, it was pretty intense.

Yeah.

For me.

I think it went. I mean, right out the gate, I mean, just the tone of the show, I think we're doing a really good job of balancing the humor, the characters, the heart, and action. I'm sold on the show. They're doing a great job. Wow. I just think like the pacing's also the pacing's a little fast, but I kind of think at times Korra seemed like the pacing was a little too slow.

Like if we think about this, the second episode of Korra is A Leaf in the Wind, and that one's just kind of all about Korra failing it at airbending. And I think the tone there, there was like a little more breathing room just to explore Korra existing and seeing how things were going in Republic City and with Tenzin's life.

This one we're just like continuing to explore Alora and these other characters and getting into all these like deep, deep mysteries. So I'm hooked. I'm into it.

Also, I want to go back to like when we rewatched the first episode.

Uh it's called On the Horizon.

You know, there's so much like Alora pride and like very um, what is it, nationalistic.

Yeah, I wonder if there's like it seems like we were all friendly with the other havens, but But right, but we're the best.

But Alora's the best. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I'm excited to see how this all unfolds. I feel like there's a lot of little breadcrumbs they are dropping, and obviously we are going to find out a lot in the next coming episode slash episodes.

I mean, right, we have I think 11 episodes left in the season. I mean, just it's going so hard so fast, so early. It's uh the Vatu like attack and just the storm in general is very surprising. Right. Do we think there's like a spirit world reason for the storm?

Right. I feel like it seems very intentional. It was like, okay, like Jay and Pavi like having the tornado thing like strike at that exact moment, and then like twin power meets, and then here comes the storm. I mean, to me, like the timing of that seems very specific. And it's on the day of the Cora Hayton festival.

And that's true. So I'm thinking the stars are aligning.

Yeah, because we're pretty much still in the same day this these past two episodes.

Also, what did you think of the dynamic with our twins?

I was happy about it. It was what I mostly imagined. I thought Nisha was probably going to be a little more antagonistic, maybe a little yeah, kind of not meaner, but I definitely thought there might have been more like competition, like, no, I'm the avatar.

Yeah, I thought she was gonna be a little more.

So I yeah, so yeah, I definitely thought like maybe Prissy, maybe like entitled. Yeah, yeah, we get it. Entitled to the soar, the soul avatarship.

Yeah, no, I think it was a very sweet moment. I like that they were different. I liked, yeah, I liked that they were I mean, they're kindred spirits, you know, it's like they were both lonely in different ways.

And I think this goes into maybe like a larger conversation of them maybe wanting to tackle this idea that you know being the avatar is probably a very lonely, isolating experience. And they combated that with Korra and with Aang by giving them the ability to talk with their past selves. And clearly that's not going on right now.

And so to maybe alleviate some of that that loneliness, like they have someone to to confide in.

Yeah, you know, where like Poppy's like, I would need a friend. It was like, how about a sister?

I think there is like a theme of family in this show. Like, what do you think about that?

I think it's good. I'm you know, I'm pro. I'm happy. It seems like like a feel-good.

And I think every Avatar series so far has like really delved into that idea of found family.

Found family, for sure.

And so this is I think both found family and like hey, you're my twin sister.

Yeah.

Or wait, what if they're not like twins? What if it's like one person they like split or something? I don't know. Sorry. Yeah, I put my I put my tinfoil hat. They both have they both have their own names that they remember and the flashback they remember. Anyway, I'm done with that one. That's a dumb one.

That's a dumb take my tinfoil hat off.

Never okay.

I've got fun facts about Pavi and Nisha's name.

Okay.

So both Sanskrit derivative. Uh Pavi, the everything the things that I read was maybe Pavi can be derived from like sacredness or purity. I saw someone on Reddit described it as the shining extremities of things, which that was very specific. Like the shining tip of an arrow or how the light reflects off something.

Oh.

So that's something there. Nisha, again, Sanskrit, can be derived from like night was one of those. But also the way it's written or said in Sanskrit can also be uh evolved further into being like a dream or vision. So what do you think about those?

I mean, those are two kind of very different type names. I uh yeah, like poppies, obviously, about the light and the shining.

Nisha's is interesting too because, right, her character design also kind of implies like the darkness because her cat monkey also darker color, her outfit's a little darker. But also the fact that you take it not in terms of like dark is bad, dark is scary, but dark can be when dreams and visions happen, or this is like a dream or a vision, or something more in like that kind of almost like spirit realm kind of idea is interesting.

So maybe it's implying something that we don't know about Nisha's abilities or something of Nisha's existence.

Right. I feel like a lot of this is just like foreshadowing. Foreshadow. Um, also I like that there was like the message in this episode about you know it's okay to be scared. And like sometimes when you do it with somebody, it like makes it less scary, and you know, when like like you can do you can do stuff even if you're scared to do it.

And I don't know.

I mean, I loved when Poffy like popped out of the ground like a gopher. That was great. I was also getting like memories of Sokka when he's stuck in the ground during bitter work when Toph's trying to train Aang into earth bending and Sokka's just stuck in the hole. When she popped up, I was like, this is hilarious.

Wow. It was very also kind of Bugs Bunny-esque. But I was enjoying Pavi's character in this episode, how she was very hesitant and almost relieved that Nisha existed.

Yeah.

It was this, oh well, you you got one.

Totally, totally. It was like, you, you're right, you won it, you got it. It's like, I'm good. I can go live in my cave and be, you know, continue on hiding and just existing. And yeah, I think that there was like I think she has a really great attitude. Like, yes. There is an upbeatness, but like a march into the beat of her own drum, and like not.

I mean, yeah, that she was like, she was just gonna walk away and it was okay, and it was like you're gonna kinda respect my decision. Like, I I don't know. I think I felt like she was in control of her life, and then it was like challenge by choice. She decided that she right. It was like, no, and then you know, it was okay to change her mind, and she was gonna go and join her her sister friend.

I thought there was a nice moment where they watch the dude with the huge jug of water come out, and like watching like I don't know if it was like young people can do big things. I don't know if that was kind of what was the light bulb that was going on for her.

Right, whereas like, but again, it was like, oh, aren't you scared? It was like, yeah, but like I I can help, and so I'm going to.

Just like Scooby-Doo. That's right. You can be scared and you can still still do hard things. And then, you know, for me, for a 57-year-old man to see Pavi like be able to, you know, face her fear and know that she will have a friend to do it with was very nice. I also think the reluctant avatar is always a better character choice.

unknown Yeah.

You know, Korra was so stoked for it, and obviously they they were just trying to draw like a distinction between Aang by making her so much the opposite of him. But I just think the reluctant avatar is like a good, it's a good story device.

And I had like a thought, and I don't know, I for some reason I never really felt this way watching Aang. But I was like, these are like young girls, and I'm like, what are they gonna like they don't know how to defeat this little red thing? And I didn't really feel that way watching like Aang being like, that's a kid, you know.

I don't know why.

Aang's bumble, like we when we re-watch it, Aang is bumbling for most of definitely book one. But yeah, I I do appreciate that these two are capable, confident girls when they want to and able to go and attempt to hold their own. And also showing, you know, kids. I think we don't give them as as much credit as how capable they are.

Again, these kids are maybe like ten, nine, maybe, and probably like around that age, but yeah, and it was nice of just uh we're gonna work together. Hey, earth bending's my best element.

I did like you were getting emotional at that scene.

When am I not getting emotional?

That is your new thing.

I don't know. Feels like an old thing. Yeah, he's always passed. I mean, I don't know why you have the Kleenex on your side. Because it's the way it's like balanced on the clearly, I just need your own tissue.

Hey, um, big fans of the sh of the pod, please send us a little caddy that it can can hold a Kleenex for Katie. I want to bring up one other distinction, and this is just because of like the name and kind of the elements of this episode. In book one water of Avatar The Last Airbender, like the one of the big turning points of that series is the episode The Storm, where we kind of get Aang's background and Zuko's background, and what their stories were and their flashbacks and all that.

And you get to see how reluctant Aang was and the the choices he made that kind of got him to where he was. Because this episode also has the the storm word in it, I couldn't help feeling like there is a parallel between that episode and this one, especially showing like a reluctant avatar, like kind of making conscious decisions about their destiny.

You know, the storm, into the storm. That's my tinfoil hat. I feel like it was a conscious choice.

Wow.

Yeah.

That's a pretty hot take.

Hey, thanks. Uh other hot takes, I have more info about twins. Avatar twins.

Let's hear it.

So in the series, we're told also this whole conversation about most recorded history has been lost, but then Karthik. Like very confidently is like, You're the only twin avatars. I was like, Why you can you can't say that definitively?

Yeah, totally. And then I was like, Where'd the scroll come from?

If all this stuff was lost, but we have I think it was like most things were lost, but he got them pictures of Kyoshi Roku and Nisha points at Kyoshi. She's like, That's the kind of girl I want to be. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Get it, girl. But I don't know this because I haven't been reading the books, but apparently, allegedly, Avatar Roku is a twin.

Oh. Which I was like, why? Why are we doing this?

But it says twin and avatar.

No. Well, not that we know of, because apparently the twin was an older brother, and the twin maybe died tragically when they were like 12 or something. Hmm. I don't know. But then also in the story, it was like Sozin and Roku were born on the same day. Like that was part of that story. And Sonara, you get the Avatar, you got the next Fire Lord, and then you get some random kid who ends up dying.

This is my issue. Here's my issue with the novels. And if you are one of the novelists listening to this, hey, sub. Uh glad to have you here. I think the novels are they're like they're too too dark and too violent. Like there's a lot of brutal murders that happen in Kyoshi. I mean, it just didn't like it.

There's like a teeth spirit at one point, like full of teeth, and it's biting you. Wow. It's just it's creepy and the I don't know, it's just they're too dark for me. At least those two. It kind of soured me on wanting to continue with them.

Yeah.

Because I have the Yang Chen one, but I'm just like, I don't want any more like teeth demons.

Hmm. You're gonna have to read that during the day. It's not a nighttime book.

No. Okay, I want to talk about Karthik. So what's been your vibe of of our Zaddy Karthik?

I was feeling like this is gonna be a bad guy, which maybe. But I think there's like a a sternness. I think he's feeling the pressure, right? It's like, what is his story where he right, like found Nisha and Nisha. And then yeah, like kept that a secret, but it's like, right, is he gonna be like part of the the Lotus group?

And they're like, we're keeping her secret, and secret from who what I think is the queen.

Uh thank you, trailers, for spoiling all the fun.

I guess the vibe is good, but I I need more information.

Like, do we think he's going to be our Uncle Iroh Tenzin character? Like our older mentor character.

Yes. But I don't know.

And well, if he if he does end up being that and ends up being a heroic good character for the duration of the series, I do think there is something nice about you know, Iroh and Tenzin are never like powerfully intense. Like they have moments of intensity, but I think Karthik can be very like stern, is kind of what it was coming across.

Right.

And so I did think that was a good like character description, if that is the character he's that mold he's going to be.

I mean, he was passionate, but I feel like, right. I mean, obviously, you found the avatars and you want to protect them.

I'm hoping there's more avatars. I'm hoping triplets. We're gonna Huey Dewey and Louie this. Wouldn't that be wild? Yeah, I mean, who knows? That's true. It's only episode two. Twins? How about tri- how about quadruple? How about we go quince? Full quince, we can make a decom about it. Oh, wait.

Five?

Yeah. Hence the decom Quincy.

I didn't like it. I think I watched it once and I was like not into it. Why? I don't know.

Was five babies stressful for you?

I think it was that. Did it have Marnie in it? Yeah. Okay. I'm pretty sure she was the main girl, but I'm like, right, was she big sis?

I think so.

I don't think she was mom.

You know? Teen parent quince. Anyway, if you don't know what we're talking about, you didn't live through it. Okay. I want to start. Let's wind up all the way back to the very beginning. Clearly, it seems like we're not getting a a theme song title sequence.

It seems that way, but then I'm like, maybe because they're doing the three episodes as like a package, and then I don't know.

What do you think about the lack of theme sequence? I think Korra's Korra's first one is strong, and then every single one after that was kind of weak, when she's like, only the Avatar. Yeah, yes, yeah. And then I always actively despised how Korra did the recap episodes. They did like filmreel and it was Sepia.

Right. It was like previously on Avatar. Korra looked like a lunch bag and decided the shape was gonna go, and I didn't like that. It wasn't announced they're doing it.

I mean Yeah, but in terms of this is what happened and this is what's going on, I mean, helped orient me. So I mean, it was helpful.

Was it more helpful than the recap episode or the recap section that we got at the beginning of Seven Havens?

No, I think that that was good.

Right. It was more how the legend the legend. It was more it was more like how Last Airbender was, with how, you know, Roku's sweet, sweet voice is like previously on Avatar. Mm-hmm. So I liked how they did this. Again, I'm saying it, I said it once, I'll say it again. This feels more like a spiritual successor to Avatar The Last Airbender specifically, and not necessarily a sequel series to Korra.

And I think that's the distinction that I think people need to realize going into this. And I think when you imagine and envision it as more of that with a correlation to Airbender, I feel like it's more palatable. Because I remember talking to someone that the person in uh the grocery store, and he was we told him about staying up until midnight, and his response was, Oh yeah.

So I feel like the he liked the tone of Korra more than Avatar. And I think people that you know, if they were going through the motions and kind of growing up alongside that story, I think how this has been has probably been a little jarring, but I think it's good and I think it's successful. Good. With the recap, did you notice like the background music?

No, it was like spooky coral. Sing it. It was like that's not it at all. Wow. It was like a haunting, beautiful, like choral tune.

I think the music has been really good. I it's not coming up in my brain, but I thoroughly enjoyed it in the moment. Yeah. I mean, I just think like the aesthetic, the the music, the vibe. I mean, I just feel like it just feels like there was a lot of care put into this project, at least so far. At least the first two episodes.

I mean, if those are any indication, I think the next are gonna be a quite a lovely experience. And I'm happy that we're not binging all the episodes and we're kind of treating them as, you know, the little gifts that they are. Because it takes a lot of time to do animation. I mean, they've been working on this for years.

Right.

Yeah, it does feel good to just take our time. And I'm happy we re-watched the the first episode. It's still good. We still cried, you know, and I feel like the second time I just noticed so many more things, and yeah, it was it was great.

And I think almost like watching the premiere twice kind of helped orient us even more going into probably the next episode and probably the rest of the series. Right. So maybe before we watch any episode, we just watch the first one first. Totally. It's getting the zone. And you're like, okay, so you watch the first episode, and then watch episode nine.

Hi, Jay.

Hi, I love you, Jay. Well, yip yippers, here's our favorite, that favorite time, and I know you've been waiting for it. We've all been waiting for it. What time is it, Katie?

It's time to call uh a fan, an avatar fan.

A fan? Okay, it's totally random. I'm curious who it's gonna be, what's gonna happen? Oh, it's ringing. Ringing ding-ding. Very exciting. Okay, they don't know we're calling. Oh. Oh my gosh, Caden, you're on the podcast.

Oh, hello podcast.

Hey, have you watched? Uh, you know, you're a totally random fan, totally unexpected. Uh, you're our second call. So this is great. Uh, guys, this is my brother Caden.

You know, it's crazy. I'm getting all these cold calls.

Were you just thinking about us? Were your ears burning?

My ears were burning. I was like, when am I gonna get my next cold call?

Hey, uh, how much uh Seven Havens have you watched?

Only that first episode.

Uh give me a quick like sentence uh you know, give me a blurb of what you think.

Two avatars?

But see, this is I'm thinking triplets.

You know, I'm still on the bandwagon that, you know, if it was twins, one half should have like fire and water, and the other half should have air and earth.

Oh, so you're not happy that we're we're playing with all the elements in two people.

You know, I I think we'll go about it in a really cool way, but I just think that would be cool, like having it split, you know.

Yeah, yeah. Well, hey, Caden, this has been great. Thank you so much for being uh our totally random cold call for uh the Seven Havens podcast.

Hey, um I'm always open for a cold call.

Well, they're usually cold, so be careful. Hey, uh love you.

Love you too. Thanks for calling me.

Hey, you're welcome. Thanks for giving us your input.

Thanks for answering.

Bye. Bye.

Bye. I don't even know if you can hear me.

Totally random that we called him. Weird. Weird that it was Caden again.

Oh, yeah. It was Avatar Cold Call.

Avatar cold call. So, what are some things that you think are gonna happen in the next episode?

I think things are going down. I think we're gonna meet the queen or whoever is really running this town, and I think it's gonna be like, what was that? And then like somebody saw something, or I think something's going down with the girls.

Because we remember like during the trailer, there was like bring me the avatar, right? So I think something, something's gonna get leaked.

Mm-hmm. Cause I don't think Pope. Is Jay gonna keep it together? Jay.

Oh, maybe get it together. Because he's definitely feeling pretty probably conflicted. Weakest link. You think Jay's gonna be the weakest link?

Maybe. I mean, clearly he was so loyal to Alora and I don't know, for the cause. Man, maybe Jay's gonna be the villain. Darn it, Jay. Big bed. Jay, why'd you do it, Jay? What do you think's gonna happen?

I think we're gonna slowly get more flashbacks about the girls. I'm so I think next episode we might get another little one. I'm surprised how much flashback stuff we got in this episode. So I think we're gonna touch on that. I think I don't think we're gonna talk about Vatu again. Oh. You're getting a little texty text.

Rude. I know. But it it sounds really lame, but I kind of don't even like care to necessarily speculate about what's going on. You know, I think it seems like Nisha and Pavi and Karthik, like their kind of goal is maybe to understand like what happened with the cataclysm and how to because we're not really told that the world's like still messed up, but kind of we're just kind of like existing within it.

And so I think maybe something's gonna happen where we're going to see like a path towards you healing this world.

I think it's nice. I feel like we're in safe hands and don't need to know.

Thanks, Mike. Thanks, Brian, and thanks the other people involved. Team Avatar. Team Avatar. Well, there we have it, everybody. We're two episodes in. They're both Flamio Hotman style. Very happy.

So Flamio Hotman.

So please, everyone, yip-yippers, go be little creepy lightning monsters and just kind of like stalk your way through the city tonight in honor of us.

Go and electrify the world.

And go possess a one-eyed bearded man.

Wow, this is really great advice.

Okay, everyone, saddle up your cat monkey. We'll catch you next time. Your twin cat monkeys or cousins. Who knows? Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten. Love you guys. Be safe. Out of all the vampires that you're aware of, what's like a vampire you relate to?

Dracula.

Vag, because he talks like these.

I think it's the only vampire I know.

Uh, Edward Cullen.

unknown Oh.

And you know what? I was like, who? I knew his full name.

That'd be that's because you a super fan.

I am a super fan. That's why I've got my Team Edward tattoo. Right on my abs. I didn't think you were gonna say abs. Right on my abs.
